Purpose: This scoping review identified scientific evidence on basic human needs (BHNs) in the elderly receiving palliative care. Methods: Systematic searches were conducted using six electronic databases (PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus, Lilacs, IBECS, and Web of Science). The initial search resulted in 1,227 articles, of which 104 were identified as potentially relevant. Fifty-three articles that met the inclusion criteria were identified and included in the final analysis. Results: Using the three hierarchical dimensions of the BHN model, 17 needs were organised, with five in the psychobiological dimension, 10 in the psychosocial dimension, and two in the psychospiritual dimension. These needs reflect the importance of care with dignity and relief from suffering for the elderly in palliative care. Conclusion: Recognising impaired BHNs in elderly people receiving palliative care will contribute to better care plans for the elderly, considering the multiple bio-psycho-social-spiritual dimensions of BHNs. This review points to a predominance of psychosocial needs.

Purpose: This study aimed to understand and explore the experiences and meanings of life changes and loneliness caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among older people living in rural areas. Methods: This study adopted an individual interview approach. A total of 33 older adults were interviewed using semi-structured questions between October and December; 2020. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Four main themes and ten sub-themes emerged. One main theme was "the never-ending anxiety of a changed world", the second theme was "disconnecting from the world through social distancing", the third theme was "working to overcome COVID-19", and forth "health is the most important thing in life." Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we confirmed the urgent need for psycho-social support to relieve loneliness and social isolation of older people in rural areas during the spread of infectious diseases.

The main purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of the work of the Ukrainian language in the upper grades of the lyceum based on the activity approach. Despite the fact that a number of scientific studies and applied developments on teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language have recently appeared in Ukrainian linguistics, significant problems in this area should be recognized (organization of the educational process when learning a language as a foreign language, general methodological principles, psycho- and sociolinguistic foundations, communicative approaches), the non-resolution of which leads to methodologically unreasonable teaching of the Ukrainian language as a foreign language, the use of methods of teaching the language as a native language or the study of the language as a subject (linguistic aspect). In addition, due attention is not paid to the development of communication skills, which, firstly, worsens the quality of teaching and learning. Based on the results of the analysis, the key aspects of the work on the Ukrainian language in the senior classes of the lyceum were analyzed on the basis of an activity approach.

Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is rare atypical Parkinsonism accompanied by various psycho-behavioural problems. In this case report, we describe the diagnostic and treatment progress of a 65-year-old PSP patient who visited the psychiatric clinic with a depressed mood and lumbar pain resulting in a suicide attempt. Over the course of 30 months of treatment, typical characteristics of PSP, such as postural instability, dyskinesia, cognitive dysfunction and supranuclear gaze palsy, became prominent, and magnetic resonance imaging and the F-18 FP-CIT positron emission tomography revealed midbrain atrophy and reduced dopamine uptake in the basal ganglia. When treating elderly patients with depression, parkinsonism symptoms such as gait disturbances, frequent falls, tremors, and rigidity should be closely examined.

Purpose: With the rapid information distribution of sport-related SNS, sport industry has utilized SNS as technical solution to distribute sport and health-related information. The current study examined the effect of SNS information use for running-specific content on running engagement and psychological well-being. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected via online survey of participants in marathon events of United States. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were conducted to compare demographics and psycho-behavioral outcomes among SNS information users and non-users for running-specific contents. Multivariate hierarchical regression was next employed to examine research hypotheses. Results: A mass-participant running event was used to test seven hypotheses related to the potential role of SNS for running content in promoting running engagement and life satisfaction. In general, findings revealed that use of SNS for running content along with frequency of use can perhaps facilitate running intensity and influence participation in running-related outdoor activities. Furthermore, while overall life satisfaction did not appear to be influenced by use of SNS for running content, there was a demonstrated influence on the individual satisfaction domains. Conclusions: The findings of current study suggest that sport SNS is information distribution media enhancing users' engagement and their six life satisfaction domains. Further implications were discussed.

본 논문에서는 객관적으로 정량화된 복합 신호음의 조화도를 새로운 심리 음향 파라미터로 제안하였다. 사람이 복합신호음을 인지하는 과정에서 발생하는 masking 효과, 등청감 곡선, criticalband 등의 심리음향학적인 모델들을 적용시킨 후, 그 소리가 어느정도의 조화도를 갖는지를 정량화시키는 모델을 제안하였고, 이를 검증하기 위하여 복합음으로 구성된 자동차 Horn 신호로 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 제안한 알고리즘에 의하여 정량화된 객관적인 조화도와 청취 평가를 통한 주관적인 조화도가 0.95의 cross correlation을 보였다. 현재 객관적인 심리음향학적인 파라미터로는 Zwicker 파라미터 외에는 거의 전무한 상태여서 제안하는 알고리즘을 통하여 소리의 심리음향학적인 효과를 보다 객관적으로 파악하는 데에 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

The purpose of this study was to compare the subjective fabric hand evaluation and wear comfort of PET treated by Ultraviolet and to evaluate the subjective results from the investigation of microclimate temperature. The subjective hand evaluation was performed by 20 subjects (age: 20-25) with 5-point scale questionnaires to investigate the change of PET knit fabrics treated for different times, specifically, 0, 30 and 90 minutes. The questionnaires were composite with 8 questions; roughness, smoothness, wetness, stiffness, coolness, touch, preference, and comfort. In order to evaluate sensations of wear comfort, we made garments with UV treated fabric and five female students were tested. They walked at the speed of 6.7 km/ hr for 15 minutes in an environment, which was controlled at $29^{\circ}C,\;75{\pm}5%$ RH. Before and after exercising, the microclimate under clothing and subjective wear comfort was measured. The results of subjective evaluation of fabric hand were that untreated and treated for 30 minutes PET were recognized as similar and have a good evaluation on comfort, preference, and touch. According to the result of wear comfort, clothing treated by UV for 90 minutes had the lowest value on the thermal and humidity sensations. In addition, the value of tactile and comfort sensation was the highest on the clothing treated by UV for 90 minutes. In the case of objective evaluation, PET treated for 90 minutes was the lowest on microclimate humidity. PET irradiated by UV for 90 minutes was more 'cool' in thermal sensation and more 'dry' in wet sensation. Accordingly, it was consistent with the result of subjective wear comfort.

지금까지 군인가족(배우자) 복지를 주제로 한 연구는 주로 소극적 복지차원에서 군인아파트 개선, 별거가족 치료 및 심리안정, 복지시설 개선 등에 한정됨으로써 군인가족의 취업지원 등과 같은 적극적인 지원 정책과 노력은 미흡하였다. 군인가족에 대한 최고의 복지는 수혜적 복지가 아니라 취업을 통한 능동적인 복지라 할 수 있다. 때문에 군인가족의 취업 확대를 위해서는 잦은 이사, 별거, 격오지 거주 등 열악한 취업 환경에 처해 있는 군인가족의 취업제약 요인들을 극복하기 위한 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 또한 군인가족 복지에 대한 인식의 전환, 군인가족에 대한 제대군인 취업지원 프로그램 확대 적용의 법제화, 지자체 및 관련 기관과의 협업을 통한 취업기회 확대, 국방개혁과 연계한 군인가족 유망 일자리 창출 등과 같은 적극적인 정책이 추진되어야 한다. 이를 위해 이 글은 정부기관 및 지방자치단체, 군부대의 협업 노력을 강조하고 있다.

Purpose: This study is to define the structural patterns of pregnancy motivation of married women. Method: Q-methodology was used on 110 statements collected from interviews with women and a literature review. 38 Q-samples were selected. The Q-samples were administerd to 30 randomized P-sample. Result: Data analysis of Q-type obtained by QUANL program shows three types of subjectivity in the perception of pregnancy motivation. Type 1, $\ulcorner$Family-connection strengthening$\lrcorner$, Pregnancy motivation is characterized by the tendency to make home, to tie family member, to connect couple firmly. Type 2, $\ulcorner$Self-satisfaction$\lrcorner$, Women of this type take pleasure and happiness from child rearing in terms of being a mother and having maternal affection. Type 3, $\ulcorner$Self-centered$\lrcorner$, This type of pregnancy motivation puts on high emphasis on self achievement and they make a family planning suitable for the maternal role. Conclusion: The stronger was women's pregnancy motivation, the more positive were women's pregnancy experience and maternal role attainment. Conclusion: Therefore, When nurses take care of pregnancy women, they should understand the women's psycho-social aspects and then apply a program of nursing intervention to the pregnant women, It is necessary to continue to study on social and psychological problems related to pregnancy.

The word play on h(e)art-hunting has become a virtual commonplace in criticism of Chaucer′s Book of the Duchess. Less widely discussed is the third meaning of ME herte, "hurt." The "hart"/ "heart" pun is, however, only implicit in the poem, while the rhyme of "heart" and "hurt" in lines 883-84 makes clear the close association of the terms for Chaucer. Earlier commentators insisted that this was in fact an instance of rime riche or "identical rhyme," but if it is so it is striking that it is the unique instance of the rhyme in Chaucer, whose works are full of occasions for hurt hearts. The essay argues that this is, instead, an instance of near-rhyme and that the confusion in scribal spellings of ME hurten(with ′u,′ ′0,′ ′i,′ ′y,′ and ′e′ ) suggests uncertainties about its root vowel that modem linguistic study has not clarified completely. If the rhyme of herte ("hurt") with herte ("heart") is, however, established by these lines in BD, then it is probably reasonable to ask about all the occasions where characters in the poem are hurt by emotional or physical distress. In the cases of A1cyone and the Man in Blak, the hurt is revealed plainly as the death of a loved one, and Alcyone′s death and the Man in Blak′s return "homwarde" offer contrasting responses to the realization and acknowledgement of their loss. In the case of the Narrator, however, the exact nature of his "hurt" is nowhere made clear and the questions this Jack of clarity raises for the reader remain unanswered when the poem declares its "hert-huntyng" done. Further examination of the Narrator′s character and his role in the poem may reveal him to be a physician himself in need of healing, and this reading of his character may identify him as an ancestor as much of Chaucer′s Pardoner as of the Pilgrim Narrator of Canterbury Tales.
