Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the actual oral health status and dental fear level in the elderly. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaire interview method from June 15, 2013 to December 14, 2013. The subjects were elderly over 65 years old in Jeonbuk province. The study instrument was structured questionnaire including general characteristics of the subjects(3 questions), oral health management status(16 questions), Dental Fear Survey(DFS, 9 questions). Cronbach alphas were 0.804 and 0.959 in the study. Higher score of oral health management status showed good oral health care and higher DFS showed higher level of dental fear. Data were analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA, post-hoc Scheffe test, and Pearson correlation analysis. Higher dental fear was defined below 33.3%. Results: Women tended to have better oral health than male. Women brush their teeth more frequently than male. Most of the elderly answered that it was important to brush teeth for 3 minutes, to use dental floss and to have oral health education(p<0.05). Score of dental fear level was similar in men and women. Those who were above 69 years old tended to have dental fear. Poor oral health condition was closely related to dental fear. Conclusions: The oral care in the elderly showed considerable differences between the groups and affected the dental fear. It is important to implement the nationwide dental care for the elderly in the future.
The purpose of this study was to investigate leisure constraints based on the types of leisure sports activity(individual, partner, and group activities) in order to lead people to participate in and to continue their leisure sports activities. Data were collected from leisure sports participants in Seoul and Kyungki province. A total of 286 respondents were selected using the convenience sampling method. Leisure constraint's sub-dimensions for the respondents were named as facility and environment, negative perception, lack of condition, risk of injury, and lack of time. As the results of this study, first, respondents felt facility and environmental constraint the most and negative perception constraint the lowest. Second, there were differences in negative perception and lack of condition constraints based on the magnitude of participation. Finally, there were differences in facility and environment, negative perception, lack of condition, and risk of injury constraints based on the types of leisure sports activity.
This research had been conducted from May to October 2007, studying 110 residents of G, Y, H industrial area in Jun-nam province. It is designed to understand the difference in levels of indoor, outdoor and personal exposure to VOCs(benzene, toluene, Ethylbenzene) and a health risk assessment was conducted to see if there was any fatal cause from carcinogenic or non - carcinogenic elements from a case group and a control group in all areas as well as each different area. In the case of benzene in the air, the geometric levels for the case group are indoor, outdoor and personal exposure; a higher than for the control group. As a results of the Monte - Carlo study about benzene, it shows that the case group's carcinogenicity is higher than that of the control group and it also shows that, on the CTE, RME condition and Monte - Carlo analysis, all subjects are seen to exceed the carcinogenicity tolerance $10^{-6}$ of US EPA. In the case of toluene, ethylbenzene on the CTE, RME condition and Monte - Carlo analysis, these do not exceed the non - carcinogenic standard of 1, but toluene in RME condition for both groups' personal exposure and the indoor and personal exposure of ethylbenzene in Monte - Carlo show that these seem to exceed the standard.
This study is intended to examine the existing condition of records and archives management and seek its improvement and progress on a concrete model of Daejon Diocese as a kind of case study, because it is necessary to recognize the importance of records and archives management and to develop the records and archives management system. Daejon Diocese which has the catholic jurisdiction covering the areas of Daejon city and Chung Cheong Nam - Do province, celebrated the 40th anniversary of the diocese in 1998. At that, time, the authority of Daejon Diocese claimed to establish its church history institution and to plan the publication of "40 years history of Daejon Diocese". However, its publication could not be achieved until now for several reasons. Since my search for the cause of this situation, I immediately recognized that the lack of materials might be a common condition in almost all of the associations, especially with respect to management, preservation and access of the records and archives. The records in the archival repository of Daejon Diocese have been considerably lost because of the past intemperate destruction and these records have just piled for long time without any reasonable disposal programme. Therefore, in these poor conditions, it is inevitable to delay the publication of "40 years history of Daejon Diocese." This thesis deals with the archival arrangement and the ways of improvement by means of studying the records and archives management, as the essential issues. The archival arrangement based on the principle of provenance, the date of creation, and form division. The methods of improvement include the preservation environment, the scope of archives, archival staff, disposal and so on. Records have the legal and social value after being produced and they can remain as historical and cultural inheritances under the excellent condition of management and preservation. However, in examining the case of the management and preservation of records and archives in Daejon Diocese, I understand that it will need considerable time, man power, and financial cost in order to maintain the desirable level of records and archives management system Therefore, it is a important step for Catholic Daejon to recognize the necessity of the change over records and archives management.
In this study, an analysis is carried out on the acoustic design for an indoor gymnasium scheduled to be built at Buan County, Chonbuk Province. By way of background, the study examines the case of a large-scale indoor gymnasium that has been constructed in the local area of Hangan-myeon. There are many examples whereby this gymnasium could be used not only as a sporting facility for the residents, but also as a multipurpose space for public performances such as leisure activities, lectures, assembling activities, theatre and concerts etc. In order to maximize the functional utilization of such an indoor gymnasium, it is important to simultaneously verify the acoustic capabilities of the space in terms of Definition of both Voice and Music. However, as a large-scaled athletic facility, the building was designed with a high ceiling-height to accommodate its functional characteristics. The space forms a Sound Focus whereby the sound is concentrated at a specific part, and because the vibration of sound is too loud due to its broad volume, acoustic defects arise such as a significant number of Echoes. Using this gymnasium as a precedent, this study proposes an acoustic design based on the drawings of the indoor gymnasium that is scheduled to be built at B County, Chonbuk Province. The gymnasium is equipped with an optimized acoustic condition passing through the Acoustic Simulation Phase. From the results of an Acoustic Simulation, we can design an indoor gymnasium that is equipped with a considerably satisfying and improved acoustic performance compared with the building before it was reformed. It is also considered that the use of such materials can fundamentally reduce construction costs and can improve acoustic performance, at the planning and design stages for similar sporting facilities in the future.
Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the second most common cause of cancer-induced mortalities in Iranian women, following gastric carcinoma. The survival of these patients depends on several factors, which are very important to identify in order to understand the natural history of the disease. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective study, 313 consecutive women with pathologically-proven diagnosis of breast cancer who had been treated during a seven-year period (January 2006 until March 2014) at Towhid hospital, Sanandaj city, Kurdistan province of Iran, were recruited. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for data analysis, and finally those factors that showed significant association on univariate analysis were entered in a Cox regression model. Results: the mean age of patients was $46.10{\pm}10.81$ years. Based on Kaplan-Meier method median of survival time was 81 months and 5 year survival rate was $75%{\pm}0.43$. Tumor metastasis (HR=9.06, p=0.0001), relapse (HR=3.20, p=0.001), clinical stage of cancer (HR=2.30, p=0.03) and place of metastasis (p=0.0001) had significant associations with the survival rate variation. Patients with tumor metastasis had the lowest five-year survival rate (37%)and among them patients who had brain metastasis were in the worst condition (5 year survival rate= $11%{\pm}0.10$). Conclusions: Our findings support the observation that those women with higher stages of breast malignancies (especially with metastatic cancer) have less chance of surviving the disease. Furthermore, screening programs and early detection of breast cancer may help to increase the survival of those women who are at risk of breast cancer.

This study aimed to classify damaged lands, to find what are the damage factors affecting the studied area, and to present a prescription in order to provide some benefit for the restoration of Regional Ecological Network at Chungnam province. Finally we classified damaged lands from 1st to 4th damaged lands according to relative intensity of damage. The main damage factors for the First Damage Lands were humus horizon, soil hardness and plant species richness. In the Second Damage Lands, those were soil hardness, plant species richness, number of plants and dominant plant species. In the Third Damage Lands, those were humus horizon, soil hardness, plant species richness, number of plants and dominant plant species. In the Fourth Damage Lands, those were humus horizon, organic matter, soil hardness, EC, T-N content, plant species richness, number of plants and dominant plant species. In every cases, the damage of soil and vegetation was originated due to development carried out by human being. The changes in soil condition were not big enough for it to affect plant growth, however, degradation of vegetation was still severe.

Recently, the central and local government support various improvement projects on existing public buildings and areas. Improving public use and environment of these areas is adequate because financial condition of local city is not enough to build new infrastructures. As one of the projects, Geochang-Eup(Geochang-Gun, Gyeongnam Province) is selected as the project site since most of the public buildings and areas of the city are located close each other in downtown but not streamlined in function and use nor easily accessible. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of decline in local city and to present strategies to vitalize the city through improving environment of public areas. And we analyzed the problems by discussion with local officer, field investigation on the site and paper survey. The analysis shows that public infrastructures are grouped by function: administration, education, life support, culture, health, etc, but not well-connected, easily accessible, adequately located, various in use nor enough in quantity. This study summarized the problems into five categories: Access&Linkage, Safe&Comfort, Identity&Image, Usage&Activity and Ownership&Management and proposes strategy in three phases. The first phase is to improve functions and design of public places per each area: more consistent design on public buildings, better civil facilities and better accessibility to public areas. The second is to vitalize of the areas and to improve efficiency in use through linking each other physically and sharing uses. The third is to encourage citizen's participation and by developing civil programs to streamline public areas each other.

Wind energy is one of the promising renewable energies that could provide electricity and other mechanical power. Wind energy market is dramatically growing in many European countries, but wind power is only 0.2% of the total renewable energy uses that is only about 2% of the primary energy consumption in Korea. It is widely accepted that wind resources fur power generation are only limited in some areas including coastal regions and mountainous areas in Gangwon province in Korea, particularly in terms of large scale wind power developments. In this study, wind velocity data were analyzed with respect to the potential utilization. The data provided from National Weather Service were used for the analysis. In addition, field wind data were also collected and analyzed for the comparison between the national data. The comparison showed that there were significant differences between the experimental station and the national station that are about 5km away. Annual average wind speed at the experimental station was less than 2 m/s, which is not enough fur wind power generation. It seemed that the topographic condition resulted in a significant difference in wind speed. When 600 W and 2.5 kW wind turbines were used, annual power productions were only 186 kWh and 598 kWh, respectively. When the average wind speed is lower, wind pumping is an alternative use of wind. At the experimental station, the average pumping rate of $3m^3/h$ at the head of 3 m was expected at a 2.5 m rotor under the conditions that efficiencies of the rotor and the pump were 40% and 80%, respectively. It did not seem that the wind pumping was not applicable at the station either. A higher wind speed was required to install the wind machines. Meanwhile, wind pumping would be applicable in conditions with lower pumping heads. Other applications were introduced far further wind energy utilization, including wind powered ventilation and friction heat generation in greenhouses.
In the present study, injuries in Taekwondo athletes during training and competitions was investigated via questionnaire. The purpose of this research lies in encouraging Taekwondo instructors and trainees to take precautions against injuries furnishing a variety of data obtained by analyzing the causes of injuries by region with ones undergoing a training. Understanding how frequently trainees get injured by region. we will be able to promote safety. which is such a meaningful move to improve training condition. The subjects of this study were 413 playes at the gym focusing on South Chungcheong province. Questionnaires for taekwondo players had the results as follows. The research reveals that physical injuries among Taekwondo athletes are caused by various reasons, regardless of sex and grade, and that the injures are repeatedly occurring, Therefore, in order t prevent and minimize the occurrence f injuries among Taekwondo athletes, not only the athletes but also trainers, business administrators, and educators need to pay careful attentions and take necessary measures accordingly. Also, pre-education on precaution against injuries must be put into practice thoroughly and an environment in which the inured could receive swift first aid treatment as well as follow-up measures shall be formed. this, in the end, is expected to contribute in improving not only the health of the athletes but also their performances in matches.
