궤도형 상륙돌격차량용 추진장치의 통합고장진단 S/W 설계 (Software Design about Integrated Fault Diagnosis for the Propulsion System of the Tracked Amphibious Assault Vehicle)

  • This paper describes the design of model-based fault diagnosis software to apply to the propulsion system in tracked amphibious assault vehicle which consists of an engine, a transmission, a cooling system, and two waterjets. This software includes specific functions to detect the failures regarding sensor malfunctions, mechanical malfunctions, control errors, and communication errors. This software generates the proper malfunction codes which are classified as the warning and caution. In order to validate the fault diagnosis software, the manual and automatic test are performed using the test program with 32 test cases. Test results show that the designed fault diagnosis software is reliable and effective for applying to the propulsion system.

  • Electric locomotive is adapted to high speed driving and mass transportation due to obtaining high traction force. The electric locomotive is operated by motor blocks and traction motors. Train speed is controlled by suppling power from motor blocks to traction motors according to reference speed. Speed control of the electric locomotive is efficient by spending energy between motor blocks and traction motors. Currently, switched reluctance motors have been studied because the efficient is higher than induction motors. In this paper, model of the switched reluctance motor is presented and the PID controller is applied to the model for the speed control by using Simulink. Asymmetry converter is used for real-time control and system performance is demonstrated by simulating the speed of switched reluctance motor including PID controller.

  • 발사체나 유도탄의 자세제어를 위한 추력기 중 DCS용 추력발생장치 개발에 대하여 소개한다. 고체추진제를 원료로 하는 DCS용 추력발생장치는 2축 제어를 기반으로 설계 되었으며 열구조해석 유동해석을 통해 상세설계를 진행하였다. 상세설계를 바탕으로 제작된 추력발생장치는 연소시험을 통해 성능을 입증한다.

  • First this paper introduces an advanced FADEC (Full Authority Digital Electric Control) for current and future jet engines.It is designed to realize not only stable thrust control, but also performance improvement, reliability enhancement, service life extension, etc. It can be built by using current micro-processor with high computational power and there exists no difficulties but reliability problem of the micro- processor. Next, the simulation results of SFC minimization control are shown. The target engine is a supersonic, low-bypass ratio, 2-spool, combined cycle turbofan, designated as HYPR90T, which consists of a turbo engine for under Mach 3 flight and a ram engine for over Mach 3 flight. he results can then be used for performance optimization of the engine, which plays important role in the advanced FADEC.

  • 제어밸브의 유량계수에 영향을 미치는 인자들을 파악하고 그 영향을 분석하였다. 제어밸브의 유량계수는 레이놀즈 수, 연결 배관의 형상과 표면 조도 등에 영향을 받는다. 따라서 유량계수를 상수로 취급할 수 없다. 그러므로 로켓엔진과 같이 정확한 유량계수를 요구하는 시스템에서 사용할 목적으로 제어밸브의 유량계수를 측정할 때는 실제 사용 환경과 유사한 레이놀즈 수 영역에서, 동일한 조도 및 형상을 가지는 입출구 배관을 사용하여 측정해야 한다.

  • A linear motor based transfer vehicle is significantly focused as transportation systems in marine terminals for the future. We propose a control method for the systems to hence mass reduction and propulsion effects at a starting point by using a lift-force mechanism. This method is newly based on a combined levitation-and-propulsion power by a lift and thrust force of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), which is carried out by a decoupled control. We exam that our proposed control largely compensates the vehicle weight, reduces friction effect of the system, and increases its velocity. Consequently, this result contributes numerous productivity and economical efficiency for the port systems.

  • This paper presents an approach of complex control method(CCM) real-time simulation and rapid prototyping for aero-engine control system and describes its principle and realization in detail. This approach is mainly based on MATLAB/RTW for rapid prototyping from system modeling to embedded implementation. According to the simulation results between automatic code and manual code for an aeroengine multi-variable control method, it shows that this approach is feasible and effective, and not only decreases development cycle but also improves the reliability and universality. So a series of problems can be resolved during the simulation stage and rapid application to prototype testing.

  • 발사체 RCS는 발사체의 롤, 피치, 요방향의 자세제어뿐만 아니라 상단의 자세제어를 담당하는 핵심부품으로서 발사체의 임무요구조건에 따라 하이드라진을 이용한 단일추진제, UDMH/NTO를 이용한 이원추진제, 그리고 소형발사체의 경우 GN2를 이용한 냉가스시스템 등으로 분류된다. 본 연구에서는 해외 상용발사체를 중심으로 발사체에 대한 간략한 소개 및 RCS에 적용되는 최신 기술, 개발현황 등에 대해 기술하였다.

  • 플라즈마 유동제어를 통한 공기저항저감을 위해 DBD(Dielectric Barrier Discharge) 플라즈마 구동기를 설계하였고, 2D 시험모델의 풍동시험을 통해 항력저감을 측정하였다. 풍속이 없는 경우에는 유동박리 및 표면마찰저항이 존재하지 않으므로 플라즈마 유동제어를 통한 항력저감도 없었다. 2m/s의 풍속에서 유동박리제어를 통해 항력이 9.7%까지 감소됨을 확인하였으며, 풍속이 증가할수록 항력저감은 감소하였다.

Leader-Following Control System Design for a Towed Vessel by Tugboat

  • In this study, a motion control problem for the vessels towed by tugboats or towing ships on the sea is considered. The towed vessels, such as barge ships, are used for several purposes. Generally, these vessels have no power propulsion system and are towed using ropes and towing vessel (tugboats). The basic mathematical model of the towed vessel in which three active rudders are attached was introduced from a previous study. Owing to the dependency of the motions of the towed vessel to the towing ship, a method is suggested to cope with the undesirable disturbance and improve the tracking performance. For the simulation study, a model of the towed vessel with a towing ship is made, and necessary physical parameters are identified from the experiment. For the defined and linearized model, a control system is designed, and the control performance is also evaluated. A simulation study is conducted and the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified.
