This paper shows the case study of risk analysis in an weapon system research and development project. For risk analysis, an advanced stochastic networking technique-VERT (Venture Evaluation and Review Technique) is used. Assumptions for activities of network diagram and conversion methods from PERT ( Program Evaluation and Review Technique) to VERT are discussed. Also, simulation result is presented and discussed.

The purpose of this study was to apply a PERT-type system, a combination of the project evaluation and review technique(PERT) and critical path method(CPM) on the employees' work time management of flood preparation, assembly, transportation and cleaning in home-delivered meals program for elderly The resources allotment heuristic program was developed by considering the number of employees and cooking utilities, being limited resources of home- delivered meals program. This program could assign the employees to perform the works included in flood preparation, assembly, transportation ind cleaning. Critical path and activities ware identified by PERT-type system on the basic of work time investigation in five senior centers. Work sheets were invented to perform the work by the shortest path with flexible employees'maximum flow As a result of the work time investigation, the most prevalent activities were ones of preparation in center C and E. Besides, the preparation(over fifty percent) was the most proportion among flood preparation, assembly, transportation and cleaning in center C and E. Critical path and activities of 'C'center were cucumber in sauce preparation path and assembly, wrapping in assembly path and case delivery in transportation path. Critical path and activities of 'E'center were Pan-fried Potato Preparation Path and assembly, case covering, wrapping in assembly Path. The work sheet invented by the heuristic program and PERT-type system reduced the work completion time and man hours in both centers.

An automatic construction system in Korea is now at the stage of the full automation like in Japan, and an actual pilot project is going to be built in 2009. However, in developing a new construction system that has never been implemented before, there is a need to assess the performance and to consider the uncertainty of the system. The program evaluation and review technique (PERT) allows dealing with this uncertainty. Thus, this paper implements an analysis of the process of steel fabrication and makes suggestions for time-related problems arising from the analysis. The time required for steel erection by the automatic system was compared with that in the traditional method. In the result, finding out another construction process and improving robot performance were proposed to resolve the problems. The results will contribute to promoting the development of an efficient system for the new automatic construction system.

목적: 공정관리는 프로젝트 완성에 필요한 작업에 대해 순서 설정 및 작업의 상호관계를 시각적으로 표시하여 완료에 이르기까지의 과정을 분석, 관리하는 활동이다. 이 연구의 목적은 치과임상에 있어서 공정관리 기법 중 PERT/CPM (Program Evaluation & Review Technique/Critical Path Method)을 이용하여 치료기간의 단축 및 치료의 효율성을 증진시키기 위함이다. 재료 및 방법: 원광대학교 치과병원 보철과에 내원한 환자 중 2개과 이상 타과와의 협진이 필요한 보철치료 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 대조군은 초진에서 치료 종료까지의 진료기록부를 분석하고 실제 치료기간, 내원횟수, 진료비용으로 구성되며 실험군은 PERT/CPM 기법을 이용하여 작성한 가상의 공정표상 치료기간, 내원횟수, 진료비용을 포함한다. 본 연구는 공정관리 기법 중 PERT/CPM을 적용하였다. 결과: 진료기록부를 토대로 작성한 공정표와 가상의 PERT/CPM 공정표상에서 18.1%의 치료기간 단축과 15.3%의 내원횟수 감소를 나타내었다. 진료비용에 있어서 PERT/CPM 공정관리 기법을 통하여 0.9%의 비용절감이 이루어졌다. 결론: 치과 임상에 PERT/CPM 기법을 도입함으로써 치료의 신뢰도를 높이고 치료기간을 감소시킬 수 있으며 최소비용의 치료계획의 수립이 가능하다.

최근 급속히 팽창된 산업 구조와 이에 따른 업무량의 증가는 종래의 관리기술로서는 이를 성공적으로 처리할 수 없게 되었으며 아울러 인간의 미래조작능력의 증대와 기업구상력의 개발, 사회변동에 대비한 예측적인 계획의 수립 등 관리기능의 신장은 새로운 관리기법을 요구하게 되었으므로 PERT/CPM 수법이 신관리기법의 하나로 등장하게 되었다. PERT/CPM 이란 Program Evaluation Review and Technique, Critical Path Method 의 약자로서 우리말로는 계획수립 집행 및 평가로 번역되는데 이의 직역은 종속 및 총합 $\ulcorner$시스템$\lrcorner$ 과업의 동시진행 및 집중관리라 할 수 있는 것으로 시간과 비용을 절감하려는 기법인 것이다. 또한 PERT 기법은 복잡한 작업형태를 상호관련성있는 Network로 구성하고 제종속작업을 하나의 통일된 목표로 진행시키는 것을 의미한다. 이와 같은 PERT/CPM 기법은 제한된 자원의 효율적인 투자 및 관리와 불필요한 시간과 비용을 제거하여 준다. 현재 정부(경제기획원)는 PERT/CPM 제도를 도입하여 건설공사에 대한 예산관리제도를 설정중에 있으며 민간 및 정부투자기관으로서 현대건설주식회사와 한국전력주식회사와 이미 PERT/CPM 제도화방책을 연구기관에 위촉하여 제2단계적용을 시도하고 있는 것은 시대적 당위성에 따른 타당한 전망이라 하겠다. 거금 한국양회공업협회가 본제도의 도입 적용을 추진하기 위한 일련의 조사활동을 시작한 것은 시멘트 공업계의 새로운 경영관리체제를 모색하고 업계를 선도하는 중요한 전환점이 되리라 믿는다.

현재 인공위성 개발 프로젝트들을 계획하고 일정계획을 수립하기위해 간트차트가 널리 활용되고 있다. 간트차트는 프로젝트의 각 작업들이 언제 시작하고 종료되는지에 대한 작업 일정을 막대 도표를 이용하여 표시하는 프로젝트 일정표로 다양한 형태로 변경하여 사용할 수 있으나 작업경로를 표시할 수 없으며 계획의 변화에 대한 적응성이 약한 단점이 있다. 또한 일목요연하게 눈으로 보여줄 수 있으나 효과적인 프로젝트 관리에 중요한 활동 사이의 어떤 관계에 대한 정보를 주지 못한다. 인공위성개발과 같은 복잡한 프로젝트에 대해 간트차트와 더불어 PERT(Program evaluation and review technique)와 CPM(critical path method)과 같은 네트워크 도(Network Diagram)와 함께 사용될 수 있도록 그 이론과 활용방안에 대해 기술하고자 한다. PERT와 CPM은 큰 프로젝트를 계획하고 조정하기 위해 폭넓게 사용되는 두 가지 기법이다. PERT와 CPM을 사용하면 프로젝트 활동에 대한 그래프를 통한 도시, 프로젝트 소요시간 추정, 프로젝트 완료시간 준수를 위해 중요한 활동의 식별, 전체 프로젝트에 대한 지연 없이 가능한 각 활동의 지연시간 추정과 같은 이점이 있다. PERT와 CPM은 독립적으로 개발되었지만, 많은 공통점이 있다. 더 나아가서 둘 사이에 원래 존재했던 차이점은 많은 부분은 서로의 특징을 도입하면서 거의 사라졌다. 실제적으로 볼 때, 두 기법은 지금 같은 기법이며, 기술된 특징과 절차는 PERT분석 뿐 아니라 CPM 분석에도 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

The switching system is designed and developed to satisfy the performance design objectives recommended by ITU for call processing capacity and quality of service(QOS), etc. When the results by actual measurement at the system testing phase do not satisfy the performance design objectives, however, an effort is required to improve the performance. This paper presents a method for improving QOS by modifying the application programs for the switching system. In the proposed method, the sequence chart related to a delay time for call connection is modelled using PERT(Program Evaluation and Review Technique) network. Then, the criticality index of a message is calculated using Monte Carlo simulation to evaluate which message's processing time to decrease in order to decrease the delay time and thus to improve QOS. The criticality index of a block is also calculated to identify those software blocks that significantly contribute to the delay time.

최근 국내에서도 IT 프로젝트 관리의 중요성이 대두 되고 있으나, 중소규모의 프로젝트를 관리 함에 있어서 PMBOK(Project Management Body Of Knowledge)의 프로젝트 관리 이론과 PERT/CPM(Program Evaluation and Review Technique/Critical Path Method)과 같은 관리 기법들을 이용한 효율적인 프로젝트 평가 및 관리 사례는 많지 않는 실정이다. 철저한 프로젝트 관리를 위해서 소요되는 추가적인 인적 및 시간적 자원에 대한 투자가 현실적으로 어려우며, 평가 기준이나 기법들이 너무 복잡하고 난해한 것이 주된 원인이라 생각된다. 이 논문은 이러한 현실적인 상황을 고려하여, 중소규모의 IT 프로젝트에 적용하기 쉬우면서 효율적으로 활용할 수있는 시간과 인적자원에 대한 일정 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 프로젝트를 평가하는 정량적 기준을 제공하고 이를 통해 프로젝트의 성공적 완수를 돕는데 의의가 있다.

산업정보화 사회의 진전과 이에 따른 산업디자인의 개발 방법과 프로세스는 시대적 흐름에 따라서 많은 방법의 변화를 가져왔다. 최근에 와서는 기존의 방법론과 가치 평가가 시대 오류 적 상황을 발생시키기도 하였으며, 많은 시간적 혹은 경제적인 총체적 문제들이 거론되게 되었다. 디자인 프로세스의 개발은 문제인식과 해결하려는 도구의 발전에 의해 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 디자인 테크놀로지가 컴퓨터 테크놀로지로 상당부분 대체 되어 가는 상황을 직시할 수 있다. 따라서, 관념적인 것(Thought ware)과 현실적인 것(Hard ware)을 연결시키는 웨어 적 디자인 프로세스가 많은 부분의 디자인 문제를 담당하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 컴퓨터를 응용한 제품 디자인 개발 단계에서 아이디어를 3차원 가상 실물 화시킬 수 있는 3차원 모델 링을 독자적으로 구현할 수 있는 방법을 사례를 통해 제시하는데 있으며, 이 효과와 가치는 디자인 문제 협의-평가-해결의 과정에 있어 결정적 요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 실질적인 모델 링과 렌더링의 프로세스는 다음과 같이 이루어지고 있다. 평면 화 간이 도면 상태의 구성과 이에 대한 입체물의 형성과정을 통하여 3차원 솔리드 모델을 제작하는 것이다. 연출효과를 높이기 위하여 카메라, 조명, 재질감, 색상을 첨부하여 하나의 디자인 시안 물을 작성하게 되며, 이 시안 물은 다양한 방법의 구성과 퍼트에 의하여 대상물을 평가할 수 있다. 이렇게 구체적으로 얻어진 시안 물은 디자인 평가에 의해서 완벽한 캐드시스템(CAD SYSTEM)으로 옮겨지며, 정선된 자료와 데이터로 양산 적 개념의 디자인 플로우 챠트에 돌입하게 되고, 현실적으로 요구되는 디자인 욕구를 최대한 만족시킬 수 있게 되는 것이다. 결국 이러한 디자인 프로세스는 기존 방법에 대한 새로운 제안 방법으로 제시되며, 여러 요인의 평가요소에서 효율적 가치 평가가 이루어 질 수 있도록 한 것이 본 논문의 목적이라고 하겠다.
