자전 동작이 중학생의 주의력 및 행동에 미치는 영향 (The effects of Jajun-maum-dom-movement program on the attention and hyperactivity of middle school students)

  • Objectives : The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of Jajun-maum-dom-movement program on the attention and hyperactivity of middle school students, Methods: Jajun-maum-dom-movement program was applied to 14 middle school students for 8 weeks, To measure the improvement of attention and decrease of hyperactivity, these tests were used - ADHD Diagnostic System(hereinafter ADS), Parent's Abbreviated Conners Rating Scale(hereinafter ACRS), Teacher's Korean ADHD Rating Scale(hereinafter K-ARS). For each variable in the 3 test methods, the results of before and after program were measured and then, the results were assessed by paired t-test, Interrelations between the resulted values of 10 variables were analyzed in these three groups: scores before program, scores after program, and change in scores before and after program, Among 10 variables, for variable showing significant difference by t-test, it was assessed by ANCOVA whether change in scores before and after program is affected by the grade and gender. Results: As for the changed score between before-the-program and after-the-program, in the ADS test, it was found that there is a significant effect in the "commission error" which is one of the indices showing the degree of hyperactivity, and "sensitivity(d')" which is one of the indices showing attention, and it was found that there is a significant effect in ACRS and K -ARSC total), Among the correlations of the 4 variables, "ACRS" and "K-ARSC total) ", which show the comprecessive criteria, have the positive correlation of significance in before-the-program, after-the-program and the changed score between before-the-program and after-the-program, However, there was no specific correlations among sub-variables about attention or hyperactivity, and in all of 4 variables, there was no significant degree of change according to grade or gender. Conclusions : As the results of assessment by ADHD Diagnostic System, Parent's Abbreviated Conners Rating Scale, Teacher's Korean ADHD Rating Scale to study the effects of Jajun-maum-dom-movement program on attention and hyperactivity, it is known that the program is helpful for improvement of attention and decrease of hyperactivity for the participated students.

다감각놀이치료 프로그램이 ADHD 아동의 주의집중력과 학습에 미치는 영향 (Effect of a Multi-Sensory Play Therapy Program on the Attention and Learning of Children with ADHD)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of multi-sensory treatment programs on attention and learning in ADHD children. Methods : The program was provided for 50 minutes twice a week for a total of 12 times over 6 weeks. The FAIR concentration test was used to identify the children's concentration of attention before and after the intervention. The children's learning ability was evaluated using K-ABC. Results : When attention was evaluated using FAIR, there was a significant increase in all dependencies of performance value (P), quality value (Q), and continuity value (C) (p>.05). In addition, when learning ability was evaluated using K-ABC, learning ability in general increased significantly (p>.05). The multi-sensory play therapy program had a positive effect on the children's attention and learning ability and thus it is a positive intervention method for children with ADHD. Conclusion : In addition to providing challenging activities, the program showed that it was possible to elicit the children's interest by engaging a variety of senses at the same time. This is believed to have motivated them internally to engage actively in the program.

컴퓨터 주의집중 프로그램이 혈관성 치매노인의 인지, 실행기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Computer - based Attention Program on Cognition and Executive Function in Elderly with Vascular Dementia)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of cognition and executive function by computer - based attention program in vascular dementia. Method : The subjects of this study, old man diagnosed with vascular dementia, 12 patients were picked up, who were agreed with this research and were having hospital care for 4 weeks at nursing care centers. Computer-based attention program was applied to vascular dementia. Cognitive function measured by a K-MMSE and executive function measured by ACL. The SPSS Ver. 18.0 statistical program was used for data processing. The significance level for statistical inspection was set as 0.05. Result : In comparison of cognitive function was not significantly correlated in the pre and post test and executive function was significantly correlated in the pre and post test. Conclusion : Therefore, the computer-based attention program is useful to improve the cognitive and executive function in elderly with vascular dementia.

ADHD 경향 아동의 사회기술훈련 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of Social Skills Training Program for Children with Tendency of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this thesis was to examine the effects of social skills training program onto the children with tendency of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. Methods: This study used nonequivalent control group pre/post-test quasi-experimental research design. The subjects were 18 children with tendency of attention- deficit hyperactivity in D City. The subjects were divided into two groups, an experimental group of 8 children and a control group of 10. The program consisted of 20 sessions of 60 minutes per session, 5 days a weeks, for 4 weeks. The research tools included Conner's Teacher Rating Scales (CTRS) and Social Skills Rating System (SSRS). The collected data were analyzed using $x^2$ test, Mann-Whitney test on the SPSS 17.0 program. Results: a) the scores for cooperation, self-assertiveness, self-control and empathy increased significantly in the experimental group, compared to the control group. b) the scores for social skills increased significantly in the experimental group, compared to the control group. Conclusion: It appears that the social skills training program is a useful nursing intervention to improve the social skills for children with tendency of attention-deficit hyperactivity.

뉴로피드백을 이용한 로봇 발명 교육이 ADHD 아동의 주의집중력 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Neurofeedback based Robotic Invention Education on Attention Ability of ADHD Children)

  • 본 연구에서는 뉴로피드백을 이용한 로봇 발명 교육 프로그램이 ADHD 아동의 주의집중력에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 12차시로 구성된 로봇 발명 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 프로그램에서 학생들은 스스로 로봇을 만든 다음 뇌파 측정 장치를 이용하여 로봇을 움직이는 활동을 한다. 뇌파의 측정은 뉴로스카이의 마인드셋을 이용하였으며, 퍼즐박스를 이용하여 뇌파 신호를 로봇에 전달하였다. 실험을 위하여 천안 지역 ADHD 아동 8명을 대상으로 선정하였다. 연구는 총 10회에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 주의집중력 변화를 살펴보기 위한 도구로 행동 관찰, 부모용 아동 문제 행동 체크리스트, 교사용 주의력 결핍 평정 척도, ADS 등을 이용하여 사전 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 행동관찰 결과 평균 45%이상의 주의산만 행동을 보이던 아동들이 32%까지 감소하였다. 부모용 아동문제 행동 체크리스트의 경우 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 교사용 주의력 결핍 척도인 CTRS-R의 경우 대상 아동 전체적으로 주의집중력이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. ADS 검사 결과에서는 사전 측정시 정상 범위를 넘어선 수치가 프로그램이 진행됨에 따라 정상 수치로 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

초등 교사를 위한 ADHD 아동 교수법 코칭 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of an Instructional Coaching Program Regarding Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder for Elementary School Teachers)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the effects of a newly developed instructional coaching program regarding Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for teachers. Methods: Seventy teachers participated in this study involving a nonequivalent control group and a pretest-posttest design. The instructional coaching program consisted of eight 60-minute sessions. The program was developed through a theoretical development program involving six steps. To evaluate the effects of the program, data were collected through self-report questionnaires including the Knowledge Scale of Attention Deficit Disorder, Attitude Scale of Primary School Teachers Experiencing Students with ADHD, Practice Scale of Educational Intervention Activity, and the Korean ADHD Rating Scale. Data were analyzed with an independent t test, a chi-square test, and an ANCOVA using SPSS WIN version 20. Results: The intervention program consisted of 3 sectors, 8 subjects, and 24 content items. The experimental group showed a significant improvement in attitudes toward ADHD (F=22.83, p<.001). In addition, teacher's knowledge regarding ADHD (F=7.16, p=.010) and the implementation of instructional interventions (F=4.29, p=.043) improved. Further, teachers reported a reduction in children's ADHD-related behavior (F=4.34, p=.041). Results showed that the coaching program made a positive contribution to teaching skills and understanding of school-age children with ADHD. Conclusion: The instructional coaching program was well structured and significantly improved not only teachers'attitudes, knowledge, and teaching skills but also the behavior of children with ADHD in class. Therefore, the program is recommended as a means of facilitating teaching and managing children with ADHD in class.

초등학교 교실에서 적용한 환경주의력 평가기법 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on Development of Environmental Attention Assessment Applied in the Elementary Classroom)

  • Attention plays vital role either students academic performance in classroom or work performance of workers. This study was accomplished among elementary school students of elementary school classroom for two years. Three experiment cases were designed based on the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) indexes. Thermal environment and PMV were directly monitored; Thermal Sensation Vote (TSV) and Comfort Sensation Vote (CSV) were analyzed based on survey data; and attention was analyzed for different comfort level using FAIR program. PMV, TSV and CSV were varied with the change in thermal environment and there was not noticeable gender influence on impact. The good correlation between thermal environment, PMV, TSV and CSV confirmed the impact of thermal environment on indoor comfort. There were different impacts on attention with comfort conditions. Academic attention of low attention group i.e. weak students, can be improved by providing the comfort environment. Thermal environment influences the comfort and the comfort influences the attention, it is possible to assess the impact of thermal environment on attention in further.

주의력결핍 과잉행동 아동의 부주의와 충동성 감소를 위한 인지중재 집단프로그램의 효과 (Effects of the Cognitive Intervention Program on the Inattentive and Impulsive Behaviors of Children with ADHD)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an intervention program for decreasing inattentive and impulsive behaviors of children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) by combining cognitive training and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Subjects were 22 children who were classified as ADHD. Eleven children among the 22 were placed randomly in the experimental group; the remaining 11 children were placed in the control group. The effectiveness of the program was analyzed by ANCOVA after controlling for effects of pre-tests on criterion variables. Results of the present study showed that the cognitive intervention program was significantly effective for improving attention span and decreasing impulsivity of children with ADHD.

배구 프로그램이 중학교 지적장애학생의 체력과 주의집중력에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Volleyball Program on Physical Fitness and Attention Concentration of Middle School Students with Intellectual Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 배구 프로그램이 중학교 지적장애 학생의 체력과 주의집중력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 배구 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 체력과 주의집중력에 대해 분석하였으며, 배구 프로그램의 실험집단 대상을 주 3회 90분씩 12주간 총 36회 적용하였으며 체력과 주의집중력 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 PAPS-D 지적장애 학생용 검사 및 주의집중력에 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 ATA 주의집중력 검사를 사용하여 분석하였다. 배구 프로그램에 참가한 지적장애 학생이 참여하지 않은 지적장애 학생보다 심폐기능에 6분 걷기의 수치가 향상된 것으로 나타났으며. 참가한 지적장애 학생이 참여하지 않은 지적장애 학생보다 근기능과 관련된 윗몸 말아 올리기, 유연성과 관련된 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기가 향상된 것을 알 수 있으며, 순발력에 관련된 제자리멀리뛰기에서 유의한 차이가가 나타났다. 또한 선택적 주의집중력 향상에서는 긍정적 영향을 주었음을 확인할 수 있으며, 중학교 지적장애 학생의 자기통제력, 지속적 주의력 변화, 선택적 주의력 변화가 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 확인할 수 있었다.

교사 참여형 교육프로그램(TPEP)을 경험한 초등교사의 과학 수업 전문성 변화 사례 - 시각적 주의를 중심으로 - (The Case Study of Elementary School Teachers Who Have Experienced Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) for Elementary School Teachers to Improve Class Expertise in Science Classes - Focusing on Visual Attention -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) for Elementary School Teachers to Improve Class Expertise in Science Classes with a focus on visual attention. The participants were two elementary school teachers in Seoul and taught science subjects. The lesson topic applied to this study were 'Structure and Function of Our Body' in the second semester of fifth grade and 'Volcano and Earthquake' in the second semester of fourth grade. The mobile eye tracker SMI's ETG 2w, which is a binocular tracking system was used in this study. In this study, the actual practice time, participant's visual attention, visual intake time average, and visual intake time average were analyzed by class phase. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the actual class execution time, the actual class execution time was almost in line with the lesson plan after the TPEP application. Second, visual attention in the areas related to teaching and learning activities was high after applying TPEP. Factors affecting the progress of the class and cognitive burdens were identified quantitatively and objectively through visual attention. Third, as a result of analyzing the visual intake time average of participants, there was a statistically significant difference in all classes. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the visual intake time average of participants, the results were statistically significant in the introduction(video), activity 1, activity 2, and activity 3 stages in the lecture type class. The Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) for Elementary School Teachers to Improve Class Expertise in Science Classes can extend elementary science class expertise such as self-class analysis, eye tracking, linguistic, gesture, and class design beyond traditional class analysis and consulting.
