Through diversification of 4th industries and transportation and globalization, tourism was developed for medical purposes, not limited to touring tourist attractions. The trend of medical tourism in Korea is shifting from large and medium-sized hospitals to professional medical services in one area of small hospitals rather than professional medical services. However, small hospitals lack medical coordinators and interpretation services, and tourists who visit Korea for treatment lack information on small hospitals. Therefore, a platform is needed to match small hospitals with medical tourists. In this study, using Platform as a Service (Paas) in cloud computing, clinic administrators can access the app to introduce information about their hospitals with simple manipulations. Tourists also want to propose a customized platform to select the right area for them to check information about small-scale hospitals and choose the treatment and tourist attractions they wants. Since medium and small manufacturing enterprises have , played a very important role not only in national economy but also in political and social relationships all of the countries in the world have paid favorable policies and programmes for protecting and promoting this sector. In Korea main ingredients of promoting policy for this sector consist of (1) encouragement to modernize facilities and rationalize operation (2) special priority in bank loan (3) promotion of industrial cooperatives (4) prevention of infringement by large industries. However, substantial investigation for problems incurred in medium industries has revealed that unless medium industries improve and raise their technological and managerial skillfulness for themselves all other measures are useless to solve the problems. This realization has induced all of the countries to render extension services on both of technology and management to assist and support their own effort for rationalization. Also in Korea during past 20 years many technical and managerial research institutes have rendered free consultancy services to medium industries by the support of government subsidy. Among them the joint extension services project performed by the Medium Industry Bank and UNDP during 1967 and 1975 might he listed as model case because of its broad and integrated activities and participation of foreign experts. We think many precepts should be :learned from the study of this project. Korean economy is expected to develop rapidly throughout coming'80 in spite of many obstacles, tut there is an apprehension that gap in of every facet between medium and large enterprises might he deepened and enlarged. To prevent the actualization of so-called dual structure of national economy and to promote stabilized medium industries with high added value productivity which are shown in well developed countries, consultancy assistance ana extension services should be strengthened much more than ever. Fortunately in 1978 legislation of "Medium and small industry promotion act" has paved the way for the systematic achivement of consultancy and extension services which shall be integrated by the government overall program. Under new framework thoughtfull accomplishment should be undertaken considering precious precepts obtained from past experience and failure. Special attention should be given to the technical liaison officer scheme, exclusive participation of only professional institutes, strict qualification and training for consultants for the future succsseful implementation.

Librarians long ago proclaimed themselves professionals. Until recently, however, librarians and information professionals gave very little thought to professional ethics, which have corne to play an increasingly important role in all areas in modern society. They have been stimulated to consider their specific domain within an ethical context now. Professional norms express obligations which include prescribing standards, principles of responsibilities, and rules of duties. Professional codes attempt to formulate the norms of professional ethics and are the basis for disciplinary measures of various kinds. This paper discusses professional properties and characteristics of libarianship with a special reference to the code of professional ethics. The codes of ethics of the American Library Association, the Library Association, and of the Japanese Library Association have been reviewed and compared. The arguments on the enforcibility of the professional codes of ethics, therefore, on their effectiveness have been discussed. Author concludes that, despite some doubts on the practical effectiveness of the ethics code expressed by a number of scholars, a code of ethics is very much required in the information professions. Properly disseminated, a code would enhance the status and standing of the profession by demonstrating concerns for the maintenance of the highest possible level of standards of professional services. It would also play an important role in raising consciousness of the clients by communicating the value of the works.
I studied and analyzed current status about the necessity of Medical Oxygen Respiration First Aid when we perform first aid at emergency locations. As immediate and efficient first aid methods it is necessary to be able to use medical oxygen respiration equipments. I presented the basic data to develop and standardize education system on medical oxygen respiration first aid. Among those who were working at emergency locations in Korea from September 15th, 2005 to September 30th, 2005, I performed a survey on a professional group of 75 people and a non-professional group of 132 people. The results of the survey are summarized as follows. 1) There was difference between the professional group and the non-professional group on recognition about whether general public can perform medical oxygen respiration first aid(p<0.05). 2) On the necessity of medical oxygen respiration first aid, 93.2% of the total answered it is necessary and 6.8% answered it is unnecessary, so both groups thought it is very necessary(p>0.05). 3) On the importance of medical oxygen respiration first aid, 95.2% of the total answered it is important and 4.8% answered it is unimportant, so both groups thought it is very important(p>0.05). 4) On correspondence on necessity and importance of medical oxygen respiration first aid, there was a difference in thoughts between the professional group and the non-professional group(p<0.05). 5) On the necessity of education on medical oxygen respiration first aid, 98.1% of the total answered it is necessary and 1.9% answered it is unnecessary, so both groups thought it is very necessary(p>0.05).
Korea is ahead of the launch of internet banking professional following to America, Europe and Japan. Internet banking is a professional non-store bank to conduct business such as deposits and loans on the internet and call centers. It is operating in a low-cost structure and minimizes the loans and deposits, various fees than traditional banks and obtains a profit. In order to be successful internet banking professional to develop a differentiated work with the existing banks should be competitive. In this paper, we explore and analyze the cases of Japan and the United States to present the future direction of domestic Internet banking professional future. Also it is expected to enable faster and more convenient one-stop financial services. Internet specialized bank is expected to continue to develop further by the inevitable competition with conventional banks as developing differentiated financial services. Deregulation of banks and industries and participation of various companies of security, insurance, telecommunications, and retail are expected to lead to the convergence among industries and development of new financial services.
National health promotion services are any planned combination of comprehensive and specific services to help people to achieve and maintain health. The purpose of the service activities is to identify health needs, to obtain information and resources and to achieve change of individuals, families, groups, or entire communities. It also includes environmental support of social, political, economic, and organizational policy and regulatory arrangements bearing on behavior or more directly on health. To be most effective, the service must be planned and delivered by health professional. Therefore, the aim of this study has been to develop a health professional training program for national health promotion. The specific aims of this study were: 1) to clarify the roles, responsibilities and competencies of health promotion practitioners; 2) to help health promotion practitioners to get the knowledge, skills, and abilities for any heath promotion project or program that seeks to improve health; 3) to help health promotion practitioners to acquire the skills and abilities to encourage people to participate in the health promotion project, to access the health needs and available community resources, and develop community-wide health promotion program strategies. The health professional training program developed in this study included factors affecting education, the demands of training program and roles and responsibilities of health promotion practitioners. This study also developed the curriculum for health promotion practitioners. The curriculum had six topics: 1) government's health promotion policies and projects or programs; 2) health management and plan; 3) recent health issues and future perspectives; 4) data on various health status indices; 5) strategies to implement health promotion projects or programs; and 6) introduction of some effective and comprehensive health promotion projects or programs.
e-Health/u-Health has generally been considered as an expansion of current medical and medical relevant segments. However. as e-Health/u-Health has been known to have typical attributes and characteristics of services supporting a physically and mentally well-balanced life of its users, we can rationally assume that e-Health/u-Health can be not only an expansion of the existing medical field but also a result of the complex and sophisticated convergence among diverse industries such as the ICT industry. traditional care-relevant segments, etc. Thus, in this study, we carefully and cautiously consider e-Health/u-Health in accordance with both possible scenarios: 1) an expansion of a typical industry, and 2) a result of a convergence among various industries. The advent of new technologies, rapid development of current technologies, and convergence trends in various fields are creating dramatic innovations in the next generation health services market. Consumerism as a characteristic of c-Health/u-Health can be expected to find a solution of the existing healthcare service problems. In the initial phase. mainly due to the absence of a vanguard, as well as to various legalistic and regulative limitations, the role of the government would be immensely critical for the successful early settlement of the e-Health/u-Health industry. Both the government and private sector need to practice continuous and effective public education and publicity mainly to increase the overall recognition and usability of e-Health/u-Health services. Nursing as a unique professional discipline should be well aware of the new paradigm shift of the healthcare market, and make maximum use of the possibility of this trend to the advent of the professional nursing's new role.

This study is designed to analyze the trends of professional services in Landscape Architecture during the past 5 years(1987-1991) in Korea. The data were collected from 1,117 projects from 56 engineering and landscape architecture firms. The findings are summarized as follows: 1) The projects have been increased annually by 19 percent in numbers and by 47 percent in money terms. 2) The main sources of projects are local governments and corporations. However the private sector comprise 31 percent in projects number and 46 percent in money terms. 3) The public park and tourism site development comprise a half of the projects. Recently recreational forest, golf, amusement and large housing site development have increased very rapidly. 4) In terms of workscope they are devided by 'complex' project which include extensive engineering works and 'simple' project which contain mostly planting design. The former include receational project with average 5 or 6 months contract period, and the later include housing and building site design with 2 or 3 months period. 5) Two types of consulting firms are typical. One is comprehensive engineering firms with urban planning section and few landscape section. The other is specialized professional firms with urban planning or landscape architecture. 50 percent of the project was done by comhensive engineering firms and 60 percent was done by urban planning section. The implication of these findings are broad: Firstly, We have to meet the demands in private secter mostly in recreation and leisure related projects. Secondly, landscape architects and project managers need more professional skills and coordination ability to deal with 'complex' projects. Thirdly, to enhance the quality of professional services it is required to have enough work time and higher service fee through legal and institutional enforcements.

With the advent of the information age and the knowledge-based society, human resource development has become a key factor in determining a nation's competitiveness. And technological qualification systems have a direct and significant influence on human resource development. In order to guarantee Korea's continued development as a competitive member of the international community, it is demanded that a Korean Technology Qualification System (KTQS) is to accept international qualification criteria. This study was conducted in order to analysis current movements about the international mutual recognition of Professional Engineer and present problems for introducing APEC Engineer System to KTQS, and also recommend reasonable plans which overcome those. Under the WTO/GATS, the liberalization of trade in professional services will steadily increase. APEC activities to facilitate the portability of qualifications is considered complementary to the WTO movement. If the government attempts to introduce the APEC criteria for university degree requirements, university curriculum standards, programs for continuing professional developments(CPD), and practical, on-site experience. In the standpoints with the recent developments of APEC Engineer agreement on profession qualification, it is important to guarantee that Korean qualifications have a common, international currency. Measures have to be taken to harmonize the qualifications standards for Professional Engineer with those set out by the WTO/GATS movement. Also this will require an increase in the quality of university curriculum and an establishment of CPD. This process will be further enhanced by the organization of APEC Engineer Monitoring committee, Consisting of government officials, professional engineers and university professors. At this committee we can discuss the best strategies to keep our nation's interests.
Objective: Community pharmacists are frontline health care providers, but have been considered as underutilized professionals on a daily basis. The purpose of this scoping review was to identify information about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on community pharmacy services and to evaluate new services that could be applicable. Methods: We searched MEDLINE and EMBASE for studies published up to January 10, 2020. Search terms consisted of keywords relevant to this review, including "COVID-19", "community pharmacy", and "community pharmacist". This review targeted studies of pharmacist services provided by community pharmacies in OECD member countries during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Results: Twenty-seven studies were included in this review. Changes in community pharmacist services due to the COVID-19 pandemic were broadly classified into four categories. First, as the face-to-face services became challenging, various non-face-to-face services were being tried. Second, community pharmacists directly participated in the services to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Third, community pharmacists made efforts to support continuity of care for patients who experienced difficulties due to the reduced professional care as health and medical resources are concentrated in response to COVID-19. Fourth, community pharmacist services were emerging, targeting patients suffering from greater health inequality during the pandemic. Patients expressed high demand and satisfaction for the service of the community pharmacist, and pharmacists reported self-efficacy and professional pride. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, various community pharmacist services have been tried and received positive evaluations from patients in several OECD countries.
