Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between professional nursing values and career preparation behaviors in senior nursing students. Method: The sample consisted of 199 nursing students before getting jobs who attended a nursing vocational college in Daegu and a nursing department of a university in J city of Chungcheongbuk-do. The data were collected from the first of May to the first of June in 2010. Results: The mean score was 106.76 for professional nursing values. The highest reported score of the nursing professional values domains was professionalism of nursing and was followed by nursing practical role and professional self-concept. The mean score was 42.66 for career preparation behavior. There was alow correlation between professional nursing values and career preparation behaviors. Conclusion: This finding suggests nursing students have differences from career preparation behaviors according to viewpoints about nursing as a professional job. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new curriculum and reinforce existing education for developing of professional nursing values. Moreover, nursing education institutes should set up educational objectives related to their general characteristics for improving career preparation behavior.

Purpose: This study examined the characteristics of preparation to perform activities of suicide prevention according to professional type. Methods: A structural survey was conducted from Dec. 10, 2012 to Jan. 4, 2013 for 355 participants working at suicide prevention institutions in S city. The data were analyzed in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Self-evaluation knowledge of characteristics was a significant distance depending on education and economic status. Participants were classified according to four groups based on professional type; public health nurse, social worker, fire officer, and administrative staff. Significant differences in experiences in suicide, the several items of self-evaluation knowledge, and the preparation to perform activities of suicide prevention were observed according to professional type (p<.05). Correlation among the experience, self-evaluation knowledge and preparation to perform activities of suicide prevention showed a positive correlation in public health nurse, social worker, and administrative staff (p<.05). In all professional types, the variable that predicted preparation to perform activities of suicide prevention was self-evaluation knowledge (p<.001). Conclusion: Tailor-made suicide prevention programs that affect changes in preparation to perform activities of suicide prevention should be developed by professional types.

This study attempted to identify convergence effect factors affecting career-preparation behavior among nursing students with clinical practice. Study participants were 159 students in D city and data were collected from September 25 to October 4, 2014. Participants' responses were analyzed using a stepwise regression analysis. As results, satisfaction with major, professional values, and positive psychological capital were positively correlated with career-preparation behavior. Significant and convergence predictors of career-preparation behavior were curriculum satisfaction, a subdomain of major satisfaction, and social awareness as a professional value. These findings showed that nursing students' career-preparation behavior was partly determined by major satisfaction and nursing professional values. positive psychological capital need to be investigated as a convergent influence factor of career preparation behavior of nursing students by further study.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of nursing professional intuition, major satisfaction, clinical practice satisfaction, self-leadership, and career preparation behavior of nursing college students, and to identify factors that influence career preparation behavior. Method: This study was a descriptive research study to analyze the factors affecting career preparation behavior. The data collection period was from August 03 to 30, 2020 for 4 weeks. The survey conducted an online survey of 220 students in grades 3-4 who were enrolled in 6 nursing departments located in P metropolitan city and G province, and have clinical practice experience. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 20.0 program. Results: Career preparation behavior had a significant positive correlation with nursing professional intuition(r=.455, p<.001) and self-leadership(r=.539, p<.001), and major satisfaction(r=-.337, p<.001) and clinical practice satisfaction(r=-.380, p<.001) had a significant negative correlation. Self-leadership(β=.424, p<.001) was the most significant factor influencing the study subjects' career preparation behavior, nursing professional intuition(β=.170, p=.010), clinical practice Satisfaction(β=.127, p=.047), employment information(β=.122, p=.023), major satisfaction(β=.137, p=.042) in the order, these variables were found in the order of The explanatory power of the factors affecting the subject's career preparation behavior was 40.2%. Conclusion: Therefore, in order to help nursing students' career preparation behavior, a strategy to provide a variety of employment information and a strategy for nursing intervention that can improve self-leadership, clinical practice satisfaction, and major satisfaction is required.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of gender role conflicts, professional nursing value on career preparation behaviors of male nursing university student. Data were collected from 127 male nursing university student in grade 2-4 by using structured questionnaires from July 1 to November 30, 2018. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression by using SPSS Win 24.0 program. Multiple regression analysis showed that the predictors of career preparation behaviors were professional nursing values(${\beta}=0.28$, p=.001), satisfaction with major (${\beta}=0.23$, p=.006), club(${\beta}=.19$, p=.020) and the regression equation explained 20.8% of career preparation behaviors. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to provide career educational programs considering according to the academic year of male nursing students and to develop educational programs to improve the nursing professionalism of male nursing students.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of preceptor preparation education on the preceptor's role recognition, role conflict and professional self-concept. Method: A Quasi-experimental design with non-equivalant control group was used. The subjects included 39 nurses, 19 in experimental group, and 20 in the control group. The program consisted of introduction of preceptor education program & curriculum, change of hospital management environment, the newest trend of nursing course, concept of preceptorship, steps of preceptorship, role of preceptor, attitude of preceptor, role of education, etiquette in nursing situation, policy of clinical education ability improvement, communication, conflict management, nursing ethics, contents concerned nursing professionalist, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and medication. The data was collected from September 29 to November 17, 2007 using a structured questionnaire. Result: Preceptor's role recognition was increased significantly in the experimental group. However, role conflict and professional self-concept weren't significantly changed in the experimental group, compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study provides evidence for potential and beneficial effect of preceptor preparation education program on nurses.

We have been analyzed by research on the characteristics of professional consciousness, professional preparation, employment, and career life aimed at Chinese students. There is a tendency that overall trend is almost the same, even though there might be a small difference according to the characteristics of Chinese students' gender and scholastic year. Especially, a drift to the economic aspect of professional consciousness is a reflection of increasing hardship on our society. In spite of now is the era of disappearing permanent job and being changed to the concept of lifelong career, there is exceedingly rare places for getting education of professional consciousness or related information. It is needed to inform upright professional consciousness and to educate the Chinese students.

This study investigated how career support for professional college students affects career preparation behavior and verified the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between career support and career preparation behavior. The specific research problems are as follows. First, what is the relationship between social support, positive psychological capital, and career preparedness? Second, does social support and positive psychological capital directly affect career preparation behavior? Third, does social support influence the career preparation behavior by supplying positive psychological capital? For this purpose, the subjects were 240 students from G college. Correlation analysis and step-wise multiple regression analysis were used to examine the study's research questions. The results of this study are as follows. First, social support, positive psychological capital and career preparation behaviors all have significant positive correlation. Second, social support and positive psychological capital had an impact on the career preparation behavior. Third, there was a partial mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the effect of social support on career preparation behavior. The result of this study is meaningful in that it provides basic data that is the foundation for professional career guidance and career education of professional college students.

The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of major satisfaction, nursing professional intuition, self leadership, and career preparation behavior of nursing college students, and to identify factors that influence career preparation behavior. Data were collected from 202 nursing college students in B city and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of career preparation behavior in nursing college students was 3.16±.85. There were significant differences in career preparation behavior with respect to grade(t=-4.86, p<.001), college life satisfaction (F=11.82, p<.001). There was positive correlation between career preparation behavior and major satisfaction (r=.34, p<.001), nursing professional intuition(r=.24, p=.001), and self leadership(r=.54, p<.001). Factors affecting the career preparation behavior of the study subjects were self leadership(β=.491, p<.001), grade(β=.284, p<.001), college life satisfaction(β=.133, p=.039), and the explanatory power was 37.3%. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the factors affecting career preparation behavior of nursing students.

The article theoretically analyzed and specified definitions such as: "professional development of personality, competence, professional competence of a teacher". Structural components of professional competence are defined, namely: theoretical involves deep knowledge in the field of special pedagogy, special psychology; technological involves the use of acquired knowledge in practical activities and personal in which important personal characteristics of a special teacher are noted. Criteria and levels of development of professional competence of future special teachers are determined. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the professional activity of a teacher in the conditions of an inclusive educational space, in particular, the special training of a teacher as an integral component of this process. Emphasis is placed on the cooperation of teachers in an inclusive educational institution for the socialization of a child with special needs and her preparation for independent life.
