공동주택관리지원센터의 역할과 장단기 발전방안 연구 (Roles of Housing Management Support Center and Short-and Long-Term Development Plan)

  • This study was carried out to offer direction to the Housing Management Support Center in terms of its key features and specific operational tasks. The research involved the property management office (n=35) and Resident Representatives of the apartment blocks (n=52). Advisory Services conducted a consumer survey, as well as a survey of expert interviews (n=15). Survey results were as follows: (1) the Managing Director and secretary residents were satisfied with the Diagnosis and Advisory services; (2) the administrative support services need to address housing issues, including a long-term repair plan and advice on using long-term repair reserves and "conflict resolution associated with public housing management"; and (3) there was a greater need for a "basic, common-sense Housing Management Information Base to provide services to the Resident Representatives of the apartment blocks". Based on the survey results, the main roles of the Housing Management Support Center are to act as a House of Commons Administrator to handle complaints with counseling, diagnosis and advice; to support the Resident Committees; to provide professional training, research, and investigation; to support community revitalization; to manage the business of guidance and inspection; to coordinate conflicts and disputes; to build a comprehensive source of information; and to build networks.

과학교사 학습공동체에서 나타나는 사회적 상호작용 과정의 분석 (Analysis of Social Interaction Process in Science Teachers' Learning Community)

  • In this study, we operated science teacher learning community to enhance professionality of elementary science teachers. 8 participants with various background, which include their science content knowledge, teaching experience and beliefs about teaching, were involved in this study. Bales(1950)'s social interaction process framework was mainly used to understand the members' interaction, focusing particularly on process aspects not on contents aspects. The data analysis shows that the members in the science teacher learning community tried their best to maintain the positive reaction to other members in most occasions in the community meetings. On the other hand, there were also negative reaction process due to their different ideas and views, causing their emotional conflicts in some social relations and dialogical situations. Nevertheless, the results also imply that the dual reaction processes, which are positive and negative processes, are equally important to facilitate science teachers' professional knowledge and experience. The educational meanings are discussed in the aspects of science teacher education.

초등교사는 과학 수업에서 어떠한 딜레마를 경험하고 어떻게 대응하는가? (Which Types of Dilemmas do Elementary School Teachers Experience and How do They Cope with in Science Classes?)

  • In this study, we aimed to look at what dilemmas of science teaching elementary school teachers experience and how they cope with their dilemmas in everyday science classes. Three elementary school teachers participated and qualitative data such as class log, class video, and interview materials were analyzed in inductive ways. The main findings are as follows. First, the dilemmas were classified based on the four factors that make up the science class; teacher, student, learning content, environment. However the dilemmas appeared to be not only one factor involved, but the rest of the factors intertwined. Thus, it was interpreted how the main factors causing the dilemmas conflicted with other factors. Second, the types of teachers' coping strategies to the dilemmas could be largely divided into 'give-up', 'stick to' and 'modified'. In some cases, teachers gave up on what they valued and did not take active action ('give-up'), teachers chose what they valued and made decisions to actively realize it ('stick to'), and in others, conflicts were adjusted by introducing new methods or elements to their classes ('modified'). Based on these results, we discussed that the teacher's dilemmas could facilitate the teacher's learning or professional development.

요양기관 간병인의 갈등 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Determinants of Caregivers' Conflict Experience in Elderly Care Institutions)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of caregiver's conflict experience in elderly care institutions. This study focused on the three key independent variable groups(e.g., socio-demographic, job-related, and individual personality). The sample used in this study are 311 caregivers who are randomly selected from 21 elderly care institutions in Korea. Data were collected with a structured questionnaire by mail from Oct. 15 to Nov. 30 in 2007. The collected data were analyzed using logistic regression. The major findings of the study are as follows: 1) Nearly 40% percent of the respondents reported that they had experienced conflicts with elderly patients. The conflict with other caregivers ranked as second(20.6%), followed by patients' families(18.6%) and hospital employees(15.1%). 2) The personality, especially uniqueness caused conflict with patients or other caregivers. The professional identity reduced conflict with patients. The negative work experiences caused conflict with patients or family. The service attitude reduced conflict with family. The service-centered culture reduced conflict with hospital employees. Those who lived with the elderly showed lower level of conflict with family or hospital employees.

가족간호를 위한 중재목록 개발 (Development of an Intervention List for Family Nursing Care)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to classify nursing interventions by developing a list of interventions for family nursing care. Methods: A new intervention list was confirmed after the researchers' discussion and professional consult. All possible interventions were re-organized. Results: Five grand categories were identified, which include health education, providing direct nursing care, utilization and referral of community resources, reinforcing family resources, and stress management. The category of health education consists of anticipatory guidance, training and education, providing information, and consult and motivation. The category of providing direct nursing care consists of identifying problem, providing technical nursing, providing family tailored nursing care, family contract, monitoring or evaluation, and collaboration with experts. The utilization and referral of community services includes utilization of health care facilities, utilization of social welfare facilities, use of neighbors, friends, and relatives, connecting to professionals or supporting groups, and utilization of other sources. Reinforcing family resources includes reinforcing economic resources, reinforcing physical resources, and reinforcing human resources. Stress management includes reorganization of perception, resolving conflicts, division of role, preparing communication strategies, time management, creating familiarity, supporting spirituality, and developing sense of humor. Conclusion: This study provides useful resources to promote nursing activities by identifying possible family nursing interventions.

  • 건설클레임중에서 설계자와 감리자를 상대로 하는 클레임은 그다지 주목받지 못하였다. 그러나 건설현장에서 설계자나 감리자에 기인하여 클레임이 상존하고 있는 실정이다. 실제로 설계자와 감리자와 관련된 클레임은 전문책임과 관련된 사항이므로 판단하기가 무척 어려운 면이 있긴 하지만, 실제 클레임으로 비화될 경우 설계자나 감리자의 자체재무능력만으로 해결하기 어려운 것이 현실이다. 현장에서는 많은 설계자나 감리자들은 클레임의 위험에 노출되어 있으면서도 그에 대책에 마련되어 있지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 설문조사를 통하여 설계자/감리자가 당면하고 있는 클레임에 대한 인식을 조사하였고, 그에 대한 대처방안을 조사하여 제시하였다.

일본의 학교도서관법 개정과 사서교사제도 (The Amendment of Japanese School library law and The School Librarianship in Japan)

  • 1997년, 일본 학교도서관법이 개정됨으로써 1953년 법 제정이래 계속 문제시되었던 사서교사배치가 2003년 3월까지 전국적으로 완료되게 되었다. 그러나 일본의 사서교사는 일반교사의 겸임에 지나지 않으므로 학교도서관의 활성화에 공헌해온 학교사서와의 복수직종 병치로 직무분담, 협력방안 등이 현안의 문제가 되고 있다. 일본 학교도서관법의 개정내용과 개정 이후의 문제점, 학교도서관직원으로서 사서교사와 학교사서의 대립과 갈등, 그리고 새로운 학교도서관전문직원제도로서 학교사서의 법제화, 전임사서교사제, 도서관과 교사, 미디어 스페셜리스트의 가능성 등을 고찰하였다.

연구 및 진료에서의 이해상충 (Conflicts of Interest in Research and Clinical Practice)

  • 최근 의사들이나 연구자들은 진료나 연구에서 독자적으로 수행하기보다는, 회사, 연구기관, 보건의료기관, 및 학술 저널의 관련인들과 관계를 맺게 된다, 혹은 그들이 관련 회사에서의 자문 및 주주 참여 등과 같은 다중적 이해관계(multiple interests)를 가지기도 한다. 그러한 이해관계가 연구자의 의사결정에 지대한 영향을 미치는 경우 이해상충이 발생할 수 있다. 이해상충은 연구 진실성을 침해하여 피험자나 환자를 위험에 빠뜨리기도 하고 공공에 대한 위험을 초래할 수 있고 과학에 대한 대중의 인식을 악화시킬 수도 있기에 매우 중요한 문제라고 할 수 있다. 이 종설에서는 이해상충의 개념과 구체적인 사례 및 이에 대한 해법을 살펴보고자 한다.

J지역 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 요인 분석 (An Analysis on Factors Related to the Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists at J Region)

  • 본 연구는 2006년 7월 24일부터 9월 24일까지 전라북도의 구강진료기관에 근무하는 치과위생사를 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 우편조사를 통해 조사하였다. 설문지는 총 220부를 배부해 180부(81.8%)가 회수되었으며 그 중 응답이 미흡하여 통계처리가 곤란한 설문지 24부를 제외한 156부를 SPSS(Ver.12.0) 프로그램을 이용하여 통계 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 전체 평균은 5점 만점에서 2.89로 나타났으며, 각 요인별로 살펴보면 부적절한 대우가 3.34로 가장 높게 나타났고, 업무량 과중요인은 3.11, 열악한 근무환경요인은 3.01, 전문직 갈등요인 2.63, 동료 갈등요인이 2.38의 순으로 나타났다. 2. 치과위생사의 일반적인 특성에 따라 직무스트레스를 살펴본 결과, 연령에 따른 직무스트레스는 전문직 갈등요인 중 23세 미만에서 2.98로 가장 높은 스트레스를 받고 있었고(p < 0.01), 결혼여부에 따른 직무스트레스는 부적절한 대우요인(p < 0.05)과 전문직 갈등요인(p < 0.01), 업무량 과중요인(p < 0.05)에서 미혼이 기혼보다 높게 나타났다. 현 근무지에 따른 직무스트레스는 전문직 갈등요인에서 개인치과의원이 2.66, 치과대학(부속)병원 2.52, 치과병원 2.10 순으로 스트레스를 받고 있었으며(p < 0.05), 총 근무경력에 따른 직무스트레스는 전문직 갈등요인에서 1~3년 미만이 3.00으로 가장 높았고, 10년 이상에서 2.45로 가장 낮았다(p < 0.001). 또한 최종학력에 따른 직무스트레스는 열악한 근무환경요인(p < 0.05)에서 대학 졸업이 3.06으로 대학교 졸업 이상 2.58보다 높은 스트레스를 받고 있었으며, 월 평균 소득에 따른 직무스트레스는 부적절한 대우요인과 전문직 갈등요인에서 70~99만원이 각각3.56과 2.85로 스트레스를 가장 높게 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다(p < 0.01). 3. 전반적인 직무스트레스와 이직의향의 상관관계분석에서 전반적인 스트레스는 부적절한 대우요인(r = 0.382), 전문직 갈등요인(r = 0.285), 열악한 근무환경요인 (r = 0.303), 동료 간 갈등요인(r = 0.233), 업무량 과중요인(r=0.262)들에 의해 영향을 받고 있었으며, 스트레스 요인들이 높을수록 이직의향도 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p < 0.01). 4. 각 요인들이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 직무스트레스 요인을 독립 변 수로 이직의향을 종속변수로 하여 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 치과위생사의 직무스트레스에 부적절한 대우요인(p < 0.001)이 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 전문직 갈등요인(p0.05), 열악한 근무환경요인(p < 0.05) 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 스트레스 요인이 이직의향에 미치는 영향에 대한 설명력은 22.2%였다.

간호사의 간호 제공 의무와 말기 환자의 간호 거부에 관련된 윤리 문제에 관한 연구 (Refusal of care by chronically and terminally ill patients : An ethical problem faced by nurses)

  • Respect for human life and respect for human dignity are two basic values to which organized nursing has urged its members to adhere in their service to mankind. Thus it is the nurses’ duty to provide health care in support of sustenance of life and to pay respect for the patient’s right to dignity. In practice, however, nurses may experience dilemmas between these duties much due to the de velopment of modern advanced techniques. These dilemmas have become more complex and difficult to resolve. Nurses are often faced with situations in which the terminally ill refuse professional care, posing serious conflicts between respect for human life and respect for human rights to self-determination. In such cases, resolution of the problem is not a simple matter, thus requires intensive study into the ethical questions related to the situation. The purpose of this study was to identify ethical problems that nurses experience in caring for terminally ill patients and explore the ways to the resolution of problems within the context of the situations. The methodology used for the study was a case study method which ‘New Casuistry’ proposed by Jonsen & Toulmin(1988) and the ‘Specified Principlism’ proposed by Degrazia(1992) as an alternative to old deductive and intuitive method. Cases were developed through semistructured indepth interviews according to the casutistry method. A total of seven nurses were interviewd who were caring for therminally ill patients. Four cases out of a total 14 cases were related to the topic. Through the case analysis it became evident that nurses appreciated other values more often than respect for the patient’s right to self-determination. These other values were convenience and efficiency in nursing practice in case 1, preservation of life above all other values in case 2, provision of nursing care to fulfill the nurse’s professional obligation at most in case 3, and respect for the family’s demand against the patient’s wish in case 4. This study showed that the most important ethical problems were conflict between respect for the patient’s right to self-determination and sustenance of life for the fulfillment of professional obligation. For this problem, benefit /burden analysis from the perspective of the patient and family for the promotion of patient’s wellbeing may be a way to resolve the conflict. Further, through these analysis it was shown that physicians’ and families’ opinions dominated in the decision - making and the opinions of nurses’ and patients’ tended not to be reflected. Thus the patient's right to his or her care was not readily respected. To solve this problem. nurses should make efforts to communicate reciprocally with their patients, family members and physicians in an effort to respect for their patient’s rights to life and diginity from the point of view and values of the patient. It is also important that nurses provide good basic nursing care up to the time of death regardless of decisions about providing or not aggressive treat-ment for chronically and terminally ill patients.
