간호사의 업무갈등 (Clinical Nurses Professional Conflicts)

  • Purpose: This study aims to find the sources of nurses' conflicts and to find ways to eliminate them for improved nursing care. Method: This study is based on a phenomenological approach. All participants were woking at K-hospital, located in Seoul. The research was performed from September 2000 to February 2001. Data was collected through interviews and observations while participants were working. Interviews lasted a duration of one and half hours and data collection accured five to six times per participant. The data were analysed by Giorgi method and the results are as follows: Result: Essential themes in the professional conflict of clinical nurses emerged (1) The discords of human relationships ; (2) Dissatisfaction with working conditions ; (3) Lack of self-respect in one's professional expertise ; (4) Dissatisfaction with one's work ; (5) Depression accurring due to one's ability as a professional. Conclusion: The foregoing arguments suggest that nurses perform stressful environments in a hospital originating from the relationship among peer group, working conditions, and lack of self-respect as a nurses. Therefore, hospital authorities should strangly consider working conditions, interpersonal relationships, and working conditions in order to promote self-respect of the nurses hospitals.

병원중심 가정전문간호사의 역할인식, 역할갈등 및 직무만족 (A Study of Role Awareness, Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction for Hospital-based Home Care Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive research conducted for looking into the role awareness level. role conflicts, and job satisfaction among professional home care nurses in the field of hospital based home care nursing service. Method: 154 specialized home care nurses in 63 hospitals and clinics that are implementing home care programs were subject to the study. Result: 1. The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses was $4.47\pm0.41$ on average out of 5. 2. The average score for role conflicts was $3.87\pm0.61$ out of 5. 3. In terms of job satisfaction level. $3.33\pm0.71$ was scored out of 5. 4. It has been discovered that there are statistically significant positive correlations among role awareness level, role conflicts(r= .224, P= .005), and job satisfaction level(r= .166, P=.040), while a negative correlation was detected between role conflicts and job satisfaction level(r=-.210, P= .009). Conclusion: The level of role awareness among professional home care nurses in the field of hospital based home care nursing service was very high and job satisfaction level was high when the level of home care nursing antecedents was high and the organization structure of working place was independent. But the level of role conflicts coming out of the weakness of job-supporting system was high. So the realistic alternative such as the improvement of working environment by administrative, institutional support, is required to make up for this problem in the future.

전문직 취업주부의 역할갈등과 갈등대처전략 (Work/Family Role Conflicts and Coping Strategies of Employed Wives.)

  • This research was designed to illuminate that work domains and family domains are not separated but interacting spheres and to suggest efficient coping strategies than alleviate work/family role conflicts. The subjects of this study were 395 employed professional wives living in Seoul. Korea. Survey methods were questionnaires. Data analysis strategies were percentile, frequency, one-way-anova and multiple classification analysis. The results were as follows; 1)Employed wives experienced time-based conflicts and strain-based role conflicts. This finding supports the scarcity approach that multiple roles inevitably create strain. 2) Individual, family and work-related variables were predictors of work/family role conflicts. This findings indicate that work domains and family domains cannot be regraded as separated spheres. 3) Employed wives tried to meet all the given roles demands not by reducing role responsibilities, but by increasing the efficiency of role performance. This finding reflects the characteristics of employed wives who try to perform successfully all the responsibilities. 4)The negative correlation of coping strategies and work/family role conflicts suggests that strategies can function effectively in alleviating the work/family role conflicts.

Conflicts and Resolutions due to the Expansion of Urban Heritage - Focusing on Historic Sites and Hanok Areas in Seoul -

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the conflicts caused by the spatial expansion in two types of urban heritage in Seoul. To explain the national and professional orientation found in each spatial transformation, the study brought the concept of 'historic state' and 'epitome,' thereby examining the operating system of the conflicts. Field observations and stakeholder interviews were performed based on literature and historical research. The study results are as follows. ①In the case of Gwanghwamun and Donuimun, the spatial expansion is to find the historic state of the sites. Gwanghwamun with high national status and substance, conflicts show a pattern that spreads to memory conflicts. Donuimun is relatively unknown and has no substance so that a flexible method of digital restoration was applied. ② In the case of Ikseon-dong and Bukchon hanok, they show heterogeneous spatial expansion. The conflicts in relation to this is caused by the epitome of hanok. In Ikseon-dong, illegal installation of structures(non-epitome) is prevalent, while in Bukchon, there was a process of transferring the new basement(non-epitome) as part of the hanok. ③Conflicts in Gwanghwamun can be coordinated by referring to the digital restoration of Donuimun, and conflicts in Ikseon-dong can be resolved by taking Bukchon as a precedent.

  • This article focuses on the Active Plan for Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) in financial Dispute. The financial consumers of Korea had suffered greatly from the IMF in 1997 and the global financial crisis in 2008, which also increased financial conflicts significantly. In particular, active financial transaction, due to the development of computer and financial techniques causes frequent consumer financial conflicts. It is beneficial to settle them for judicial economy through an alternative conflict arbitration system instead of lawsuit at the court. Many advanced countries settle financial conflicts through various ADR in their numerous financial conflicts. In the settlement of financial conflict, the ADR system, covering mediation and arbitration, is useful and appropriate. Each governmental institution has various conflict settlement organizations, and it is necessary to operate them effectively. In order to settle financial conflicts properly, it is necessary to study law on financial consumer protection, and it is also necessary to understand practical custom and practical knowledge and to systematize them. Further, it is important to manage financial conflict-related data, to accumulate professional experiences, and to prepare a financial conflict settlement system in order to introduce financial education earlier to the whole nation.

Issues Concerning Student Teachers' Perception of ICT Education

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe about the issues concerning student teachers' perceptions of ICT use and obstacles they experience during the teaching. Student teacher experience conflicts with ICT in particular, and lack of confidence in using ICT. Furthermore, pre-service teachers experience various conflicts while teaching during student teaching. Main conflicts student teachers experience are reported that their lack of confidence in using ICT, especially in front of the student body during the class, and firm belief on ICT and its effects. Student teachers lack systematic training during their professional development. As a conclusion, the teacher training programs need to have systematic approach in their curriculum to assist pre-service teachers to use ICT before their student teaching to give them first hand experience in classrooms.

  • 공동주택 재건축사업은 복잡한 추진과정을 거치기 때문에 전문성이 부족한 사업주체간에 이해관계 상충으로 많은 갈등이 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 갈등이 발생하였을 경우, 신속하게 해결하지 못하면 그 피해는 각 사업주체에게 전가되어 재건축사업의 진행이 원활하게 이루어지지 않는다. 또한 비용이 증가하거나 사업의 지연이 일어나며 나아가 재건축사업 자체를 불투명하게 만들 수 있다. 그러나 현재 추진 중인 공동주택 재건축사업에서 갈등에 관한 관리가 체계적으로 이루어지지 않아 사업주체들에게 피해가 직 간접적으로 전가되고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 갈등을 예방하고 지속 가능한 갈등 해결을 위해서는 효과적인 갈등영향분석이 선행되어야 하며 체계적으로 갈등을 관리할 수 있는 절차 및 시스템 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 성공적인 재건축사업 추진을 위해 사업추진단계별로 발생하는 갈등을 사업주체자 중심으로 주요 쟁점사항을 파악하고, 이해관계자 간의 갈등영향분석을 실시하여 갈등관리 시스템 구축을 위한 프로세스를 제시한다.

남자 간호대학생의 성역할 갈등, 간호전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Gender Role Conflicts, Professional Nursing Values and Career Preparation Behaviors of Male Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 남자 간호대학생의 성역할 갈등, 간호전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 2018년 7월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 K남, 북도에 위치한 5개 간호대학 2-4학년에 재학 중인 남자 간호대학생 127명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, stepwise multiple regression을 진행하였다. 남자 간호대학생의 진로준비행동에 대한 회귀모형은 유의한 것으로 나타났고(F=12.06, p<.001) 20.8%의 설명력을 보였다. 남자 간호대학생의 진로분비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 간호전문직관(${\beta}=.28$, p=.001), 전공만족도 중에서 만족(${\beta}=.23$, p=.006), 동아리활동(${\beta}=.19$, p=.020)으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 남자 간호대학생의 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위해 학년에 따른 진로 교육 프로그램을 제공하고 간호전문직관 향상을 위한 간호교육 프로그램이 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 연구는 대인 갈등의 특징을 분석하고, 갈등 조정의 서사가 어떠한 특징을 지니고 구성되며, 조정 과정을 거치면서 어떠한 해체 과정을 통해 대안적 이야기로 변화되는지를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 과정에서 갈등조정가가 동원하는 커뮤니케이션 기법을 중심으로 수행하는 역할을 밝히려는 것도 또 다른 연구의 목적이 된다. 본 연구를 통해서 포스트모던 이론의 하나인 사회구성주의 관점의 서사적 갈등 조정의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이야기 구성을 통해 이루어지는 서사적 갈등 조정은 과거의 경험에 대해서 심리 중심으로 접근하는 갈등에 대한 치료적 방식과 함께 미래에 대한 대안을 행위 중심으로 접근한다. 특히 갈등의 문제를 대화로 연결하고, 갈등과 문제의 의미를 공동으로 창조하여 발전시켜 나가는 체계로서의 서사 조정은 인간의 주체성과 갈등의 고유성을 전제하면서 새로운 변화를 추구한다. 이러한 지점이 갈등을 커뮤니케이션의 관점에서 접근해야 한다는 주장에 정당성을 부여한다. 특히 이 과정에서 다양한 커뮤니케이션 기법들이 갈등 조정에 결정적인 효력을 발휘하고 있다는 것은 갈등 현장에서의 조정 전문 분야 중의 하나로 커뮤니케이션학을 정립할 수 있는 핵심적 근거가 될 것으로 예상된다.

  • 이 글의 목적은 전문직의 정체성, 이른바 프로페셔널리즘(전문직업주의, professionalism)을 심도 있게 규명함으로써 통합적 관점에서의 전문직윤리의 중요성을 살피는 것이다. 구체적으로는 프로페셔널리즘에서 전문직윤리로 이행하는 과정에서 규범적 필요성을 강조함으로써 우리 사회에 적실한 전문직윤리의 가능성을 살펴볼 것이다. 해당 전문직종사자 간의 피할 수 없는 생존경쟁이 격화되고 있는 현실에서, 이른바 전문직의 희소가치가 감소 추세에 있는 오늘의 상황에서 프로페셔널리즘과 전문직윤리는 어떤 의미를 지니는가? 직업적 영향력과 경제적 보상이 전문직의 권력(professional power)을 구성하는 가장 큰 요소라고 할 때, 그 권력이 뚜렷하게 약화되고 있는 지금의 상황은 과연 통상적인 윤리(ordinary Morality)의 수준을 넘어서는 전문직윤리의 가능성을 확보할 수 있는가? 이 글은 전문직윤리를 통합적으로 다루면서 이러한 질문에 대한 답변의 실마리를 찾아볼 것이다.
