지속가능한 의생활과 의류 미세플라스틱 의식 연구 -인조모피와 플리스를 중심으로- (Consumers' Sustainable Clothing Habits and Perceptions on Microplastics Shedded from Clothing -Focused on Fleece and Faux Fur-)

  • The study aims to assess the current status of sustainable clothing habits from the perspective of consumers. Awareness and management behavior regarding microplastics from fashion products and usage of fleece and faux fur were investigated. A random online survey involving 413 women was conducted to figure out their perceptions on microplastics that are shedded from fashion products such as fleece and faux fur. The results indicate that 73.6% were not aware of the fact that microplastic is released during the washing process of fleece and faux fur. Furthermore, only 26.6% of the respondents who were aware of microplastics from clothing washing were making efforts to reduce its emission. The respondents considered product sustainability more in the selection stage than in the management stage (p<.001). The results revealed that, although the respondents were highly aware of the risk of environmental pollution that microplastics pose, they were neither fully cognizant of the fact that microplastics may come from fashion products, nor did they make efforts to reduce its emissions. Compared with respondents in their 20's, respondents in the age of 30-40 years seemed more aware of microplastics from fashion products and exerted more effort to reduce its emission.

로드샵 화장품 선택속성의 IPA 연구 (A Study on the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) of the Selection Attributes of Road Shop Cosmetics)

  • 본 연구에서는 로드샵 화장품 소비자를 대상으로 화장품 선택속성의 중요도-만족도 분석을 통해 소비자들의 만족도를 높이기 위한 보완, 개선점 등을 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 로드샵 화장품 선택속성에 대한 세부항목별 중요도 중 피부와의 적합성이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 만족도 또한 피부와의 적합성이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 로드샵 화장품 선택속성의 중요도와 만족도차이 분석을 실시한 결과, 총 15개의 선택요인 중 6개의 요인에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 중 판매원의 서비스를 제외한 제품기능, 피부와의 적합성 등 5개의 속성은 모두 만족도보다 중요도가 더 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, IPA 결과를 바탕으로, 어떠한 요인을 유지 보완하고 개선해야 하는지를 분석하고, 이를 토대로 기업의 효과적인 자원배분 전략과 실제 적용할 수 있는 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다.

Combinatorial Fine-Tuning of Phospholipase D Expression by Bacillus subtilis WB600 for the Production of Phosphatidylserine

  • Phospholipase D has great commercial value due to its transphosphatidylation products that can be used in the food and medicine industries. In order to construct a strain for use in the production of PLD, we employed a series of combinatorial strategies to increase PLD expression in Bacillus subtilis WB600. These strategies included screening of signal peptides, selection of different plasmids, and optimization of the sequences of the ribosome-binding site (RBS) and the spacer region. We found that using the signal peptide amyE results in the highest extracellular PLD activity (11.3 U/ml) and in a PLD expression level 5.27-fold higher than when the endogenous signal peptide is used. Furthermore, the strain harboring the recombinant expression plasmid pMA0911-PLD-amyE-his produced PLD with activity enhanced by 69.03% (19.1 U/ml). We then used the online tool \RBS Calculator v2.0 to optimize the sequences of the RBS and the spacer. Using the optimized sequences resulted in an increase in the enzyme activity by about 26.7% (24.2 U/ml). In addition, we found through a transfer experiment that the retention rate of the recombinant plasmid after 5 generations was still 100%. The final product, phosphatidylserine (PS), was successfully detected, with transphosphatidylation selectivity at 74.6%. This is similar to the values for the original producer.

생명보험자료를 이용한 계약유지기간에 대한 생존분석 (Survival analysis for contract maintenance period using life insurance data)

  • 최근에 생명보험 산업은 보험계약의 장기 연장에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들에 관심을 두고 있다. 예를 들어 모집 설계사의 장기간 고객관리의 필요성, 상품상담, 투자측면의 개선 등이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우리나라 생명보험사의 장기계약을 유지하는 중요한 요인들을 조사하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우리나라의 모 생명보험사의 2011년 1월 1일부터 2016년 12월 31일까지의 계약건의 내용에 대한 데이터를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터를 사용하여 벌점화 콕스 비례위험모형 접근법을 통해 계약유지기간에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수를 선택하는 방법을 제시한다. 분석결과 설계사의 변경 유무, 연금 상품군, 그리고 안정적 투자성향과 같은 세 가지 변수가 계약건 유지에 주요한 요인으로 선택되었다.

Selection of indigenous starter culture for safety and its effect on reduction of biogenic amine content in Moo som

  • Objective: The aims of this study were to select one strain of Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) for a potential indigenous safe starter culture with low level antibiotic resistant and low biogenic amine production and evaluate its effect on biogenic amines reduction in Moo som. Methods: Three strains of indigenous L. plantarum starter culture (KL101, KL102, and KL103) were selected based on their safety including antibiotic resistance and decarboxylase activity, and fermentation property as compared with a commercial starter culture (L. plantarum TISIR543). Subsequently, the effect of the selected indigenous safe starter culture on biogenic amines formation during Moo som fermentation was studied. Results: KL102 and TISIR 543 were susceptible to penicillin G, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, gentamycin, streptomycin, vancomycin, ciprofloxacin and trimethoprim (MIC90 ranging from 0.25 to $4{\mu}g/mL$). All strains were negative amino acid-decarboxylase for lysis of biogenic amines in screening medium. For fermentation in Moo som broth, a relatively high maximum growth rate of KL102 and TISIR543 resulted in a generation time than in the other strains (p<0.05). These strain counts were constant during the end of fermentation. Similarly, KL102 or TISIR543 addition supported increases of lactic acid bacterial count and total acidity in Moo som fermentation. For biogenic amine reduction, tyramine, putrescine, histamine and spermine contents in Moo som decreased significantly by the addition KL102 during 1 d of fermentation (p<0.05). In final product, histamine, spermine and tryptamine contents in Moo som inoculated with KL102 were lower amount those with TISIR543 (p<0.05). Conclusion: KL102 was a suitable starter culture to reduce the biogenic amine formation in Moo som.

ISO/IEC 25023을 활용한 소프트웨어의 정량적 평가지표 생성 프로세스 설계 (Design the generation process of software quantitative evaluation index using ISO/IEC 25023)

  • 소프트웨어 관련 R&D 사업의 결과의 성공여부를 판단하는 기준으로 다양한 정량지표를 많이 사용하고 있으나, 어떠한 정량지표를 선정하는 것이 적절한지에 대한 판단은 다소 어려운 부분이 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 개발의 정량적 평가지표 선정에 기준을 제공하기 위해 소프트웨어 품질 수준의 표준으로 활용되고 있는 ISO/IEC25023를 활용하여 소프트웨어 제품 개발의 정량적 평가지표 생성프로세스를 제안한다. 제안 프로세스는 2단계로 구성되어 있다. 첫 번째 단계에서는 ISO/IEC25023 표준규격의 품질특성과 부특성을 도출하고, 두 번째 단계에서는 1단계 결과인 품질특성과 부특성에 부합하는 평가지표 가이드를 도출한다. 제안하는 정량적 평가지표 생성 프로세스는 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트의 특성에 맞는 정량적 평가지표 선정에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

외모관리 추구에 따른 메이크업 관심도와 컬러 선호도에 관한 분석 -광주, 전남권역 여성을 중심으로 (Analysis of interest in makeup and color preference according to the pursuit of appearance management -Focusing on women in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do)

  • 빠르게 변모하는 산업화와 외모 지상주의의 사회적 흐름에 따라 메이크업은 헤어미용, 피부미용, 네일미용과 함께 성공적 사회생활과 원만한 인간관계를 형성하기 위한 중요수단으로 작용하고 있다. 이에 개인이 선호하는 메이크업 컬러를 다각도로 조사하여 미용산업의 매출 증대를 도모할 현실적 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 광주광역시와 전라남도 거주하는 10대부터 40대 이상의 여성을 대상으로 외모관리 추구에 따른 메이크업 관심도와 컬러 선호도에 관하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 서비스직, 학생, 10대 이하에서 평소에 메이크업을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났으며 '갈색계열'(70.2%)의 아이 쉐도우 컬러와 '붉은 계열'의 치크 컬러(76.8%) 및 립 컬러(62.5%)를 가장 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 뷰티숍의 매출 증대 도모는 물론 향후 메이크업 제품 개발을 위한 기초 자료 및 메이크업 미용인의 컬러 선택을 위한 응용자료로도 활용되리라 사료한다.

[Retraction]Characterization of carbon black nanoparticles using asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (AsFlFFF)

  • High viscosity carbon black dispersions are used in various industrial fields such as color cosmetics, rubber, tire, plastic and color filter ink. However, carbon black particles are unstable to heat due to inherent characteristics, and it is very difficult to keep the quality of the product constant due to agglomeration of particles. In general, particle size analysis is performed by dynamic light scattering (DLS) during the dispersion process in order to select the optimum dispersant in the carbon black dispersion process. However, the existing low viscosity analysis provides reproducible particle distribution analysis results, but it is difficult to select the optimum dispersant because it is difficult to analyze the reproducible particle distribution at high viscosity. In this study, dynamic light scattering (DLS) and asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (AsFlFFF) analysis methods were compared for reproducible particle size analysis of high viscosity carbon black. First, the stability of carbon black dispersion was investigated by particle size analysis by DLS and AsFlFFF according to milling time, and the validity of analytical method for the selection of the optimum dispersant useful for carbon black dispersion was confirmed. The correlation between color and particle size of particles in high viscosity carbon black dispersion was investigated by using colorimeter. The particle size distribution from AsFlFFF was consistent with the colorimetric results. As a result, the correlation between AsFlFFF and colorimetric results confirmed the possibility of a strong analytical method for determining the appropriate dispersant and milling time in high viscosity carbon black dispersions. In addition, for nanoparticles with relatively broad particle size distributions such as carbon black, AsFlFFF has been found to provide a more accurate particle size distribution than DLS. This is because AsFlFFF, unlike DLS, can analyze each fraction by separating particles by size.

Effect of Brand Popularity in a Foreign Market on Consumer Behavior in a Franchise Cosmetic Retailer's Online Shop

  • Purpose: As consumers have difficulty in brand choice due to excessive information, using brand popularity as an advertising cue (e.g., Sales No. 1, Hit Product) has been getting more attention as an effective curation strategy for decreasing consumers' cognitive efforts. Accordingly, recent studies empirically demonstrate that consumers tend to prefer and choose a brand with a popularity cue and offer a useful information regarding how to use a popularity cue in marketing communication. However, extant research has mainly focused on investigating the impact of "brand popularity in a domestic market" on consumer behaviors. Thus, little is known about the effect of "brand popularity in a foreign market" on local consumers' decision-making process. Given that domestic consumers tend to purchase imported products from overseas countries, it can be meaningful information for global companies. Therefore, this research derives and tests the five hypotheses to examine how local consumers respond to brand popularity in a foreign market as an advertising cue. Specifically, it tests the three hypotheses regarding the direct and indirect effects of brand popularity in a foreign market on risk perception and purchase intention. Then, it tests two additional hypotheses about moderating effects of psychic distance on the relationship between brand popularity and risk perception as well as on the relationship between brand popularity and purchase intention. Seventy participants are exposed to an advertisement for an Indian cosmetic brand using a popularity cue in Indian market and answer the questions about brand evaluation. For data analysis, regression analysis is employed. The findings of this research show that perceived brand popularity lowers local consumers' perceived risk with a foreign brand. However, perceived brand popularity does not have a direct impact on purchase intention while it has an indirect effect through perceived risk. Meanwhile, psychic distance moderates the effect of perceived brand popularity on perceived risk level, but it has no impact on the relationship between brand popularity and purchase intention. This research is one of the first studies that demonstrate the positive impact of brand popularity in a foreign market on a local consumer's purchase decision, and it shows the effect can be moderated by psychic distance.

CC 평가수요 분석 및 차기 평가대상 제품군 선정 (Analysis on CC Evaluation Demand and Selection of IT Security Products to be evaluated under CC Scheme in Korea)

  • 정보보호 제품 평가를 위한 국제 공통평가기준(CC: Common Criteria)은 국제상호인정협정(CCRA: Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement)에 가입된 국가들 간에 자국에서 평가된 제품에 대해 다른 국가에서 재평가 없이 상호인정이 가능한 평가 기준이다. 본 논문에서 우리는 국내 정보보호 제품을 분류하기 위하여 CC 체제하에 평가된 미국, 영국, 호주의 평가된 정보보호 제품을 분석하였고, CC 평가를 위한 정보보호 제품군을 정의하였다. 그리고 주요 정보보호 제품에 대한 국내외 시장 동향과 국내 산업체 의견 및 수요 조사를 위하여 설문지를 만들어서 설문을 수행하였고, 그 결과를 취합하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 우리는 향후 5년간 국내에서 우선적으로 평가가 필요한 차기 정보보호 평가대상 제품 15개를 선정하였고, 선정된 정보보호 제품에 대한 특성과 장단점을 분석하였다. 본 논문의 결과는 우리나라 실정에 적합한 정보보호 제품 개발 및 평가를 위해 활용 가능하고, 차기 평가대상 확대시 정책 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
