NC데이타와 Off-Line Program을 이용한 연마 로봇 시스템 개발

  • This paper presents a method of grinding and polishing automation of precision die after CNC machining. The method employs a robot system equipped with a pneumatic spindle and a special abrasive film pad. The robote program is automatically generated off-line from a PC and downloaded to robot controller. Position and orientation data for the program is supplied from cutter contact (CC) data of NC machining process. This eliminates separate robot teaching process. This paper aims at practical automation of die finishing process which is very time consuming and suffering from shortage of workpeople. Time loss for changeover from one product to next is eliminated by off-line programming exploiting appropriate NC machining data. Dextrous 6-axis robot with rigid wrist and simple tooling enables the process applicable to larger, rather complex 3 dimensional free surfaces

  • In the trend of globalization and location transfer of existing production bases is still characterized by an extremely unstable status between different countries and different regions. The results are negative impacts on cost, quality and speed of project implementation, especially automobile industry which is one of the most complex manufacturing sectors. In order to overcome problems from Global Standardization of Production Line and its Localization, it is highly required comprehensive coordination among design of production equipment, production technology, space and interfaces. It is necessary to set up standard of production equipment and building for parallel progress, in order to complete production line in shortest time for launching product. In addition, this standard should keep flexibility with consideration of local situation which means "Glocalization."

  • Cell phone injection is characterized by its small size and thinness. In addition, the product has a short cycle time, requiring a very short production schedule. To produce more accurate products faster, data from experience in producing similar products is required. In this study, two mobile phone models are presented. In this study, the quality problems caused by molding analysis and actual injection molding were analyzed and made into a database. As a result, it was considered that all the defects in the molding analysis do not affect the product in some cases, rather than appear as defects in the actual product. All defects shown in the molding analysis can be made into a database, and based on this data, it will be possible to obtain an effect that can predict more accurately whether it will cause problems after injection.

  • The quality assurance issue of drug products is more important than the general product because it is highly related to the human health and life. In this reason, the regulatory guide lines have continuously been intensified all around the world. In order to achieve effective quality assurance and real-time product release (RTPR) of drug products, process analytical technology (PAT), which can analyze and control a manufacturing process, has been proposed from the United States. With the PAT process, we can obtain significant process features of materials, quality characteristics and product capabilities from a raw material to the final product in the real-time procedure. PAT can also be utilized to process validation using information system that can analyze the risk of drug products through out an entire product life-cycle. In this paper, we first offered a new concept for the off-line process design methods to prepare the improved quality assurance restrictions and a real-time control method by establishing an information system. We also introduced an automatic inspection system by obtaining surrogate variables based on drug product formulations. Finally, we proposed an advanced PAT concept using validation and feedback principles through out the entire life-cycle of drug product manufacturing processes.

자율적인 밸런싱을 실현하는 Bucket Brigade 기반의 조립셀 운영방식 (Application of Bucket Brigades in Assembly Cells for Self Work Balancing)

  • Assembly line has been recognized as an efficient production system in mass production. However, the recent production environment characterized as mass customization urges production managers to transform a long assembly line to a number of short assembly cells. To maximize the utilization of resources in an assembly cell, it is important to have the line balanced. This paper presents a bucket brigade-based assembly cell. Bucket brigade is a way of coordinating workers who progressively perform a set of assembly operations on a flow line. Each worker follows a simple rule: perform assembly operations on a product until the next worker downstream takes it over; then go back to the previous worker upstream to take over a new assembly job. In this way, the line balances itself. The bucket brigade assembly cell is analyzed and compared with traditional assembly lines and general assembly cells. The paper also discusses some prerequisite requirements and limitations when the bucket brigade assembly cells are employed.

  • 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인 공학은 두 가지 측면에서 재사용 활동을 정의한다. 첫째는 자산들의 공통성과 가변성을 분석하고 이를 명시적으로 표현하고자 하는 재사용 계획 프로세스 즉, 도메인 공학 프로세스이다 둘째는, 존재하는 핵심자산들을 이용하여 실제 프로덕트를 개발하는데 초점을 두고 있는 재사용 적용 프로세스 즉, 애플리케이션 공학 프로세스이다. 지금까지 프로덕트 라인 공학에서 많은 연구들은 재사용 계획 프로세스에 초점을 두고 있었으며, 재사용 적용 프로세스는 핵심자산의 단순한 커스터마이즈 또는 인스턴스화하는 수준으로 언급하고 있었다. 그로인해, 핵심자산들은 각기 다른 개발 프로세스에서 사용 표준 없이 적용되거나 핵심자산에 의존하여 개발 프로세스가 변경되어야 하는 문제를 발생시켰다. 본 논문에서는 프로덕트라인 핵심자산이 각기 다른 프로덕트 개발 프로세스에서 효율적으로 재사용 될 수 있도록 가이드해 주는 적용지침서 개발 방법을 제시한다.

2-Stage Optimal Design and Analysis for Disassembly System with Environmental and Economic Parts Selection Using the Recyclability Evaluation Method

  • Promotion of a closed-loop supply chain requires disassembly systems that recycle end-of-life (EOL) assembled products. To operate the recycling disassembly system, parts selection is environmentally and economically carried out with non-destructive or destructive disassembly, and the recycling rate of the whole EOL product is determined. As the number of disassembled parts increases, the recycling rate basically increases. However, the labor cost also increases and brings lower profit, which is the difference between the recovered material prices and the disassembly costs. On the other hand, since the precedence relationships among disassembly tasks of the product also change with the parts selections, it is also required to optimize allocation of the tasks in designing a disassembly line. In addition, because information is required for such a design, the recycling rate, profit of each part and disassembly task times take precedence among the disassembly tasks. However, it is difficult to obtain that information in advance before collecting the actual EOL product. This study proposes and analyzes an optimal disassembly system design using integer programming with the environmental and economic parts selection (Igarashi et al., 2013), which harmonizes the recycling rate and profit using recyclability evaluation method (REM) developed by Hitachi, Ltd. The first stage involves optimization of environmental and economic parts selection with integer programming with ${\varepsilon}$ constraint, and the second stage involves optimization of the line balancing with integer programming in terms of minimizing the number of stations. The first and second stages are generally and mathematically formulized, and the relationships between them are analyzed in the cases of cell phones, computers and cleaners.

  • 산업 및 가전 제품에서 소프트웨어의 중요성이 커지면서 소프트웨어 재사용과 제품라인 방법론에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 제품라인 방법론은 초기 비용과 시간이 많이 들고 구체적인 절차나 성공 사례가 부족하여 산업체에서 적용하기에는 어려운 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업체에서 제품라인 기법을 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록, 기존에 개발된 소프트웨어 자산과 해당 도메인의 휘처모델을 활용하여 제품라인을 쉽게 구축할 수 있는 추출식 접근법의 구체적인 방법을 제시하고 이를 케이블 셋톱박스 소프트웨어에 적용한 사례를 소개한다. 또한, 제품라인으로의 전환 효과를 확인할 수 있는 평가 기준을 제안하고, 사례 연구를 통해 얻은 교훈을 정리하여 다른 산업 및 가전 제품의 소프트웨어에 적용할 수 있는 지침을 제공한다.

프로덕트 라인에서 공통성과 가변성 분석을 통한 요구사항 관리방법 (A Method to Manage Requirements Analyzing the Commonality and Variability in Product Line)

  • 프로덕트 라인 공학(Product Line Engineering)에서 핵심자산은 제품계열에 속하는 패밀리 멤버들이 어플리케이션을 만드는데 기초가 되는 모든 자산을 포함한다. 핵심자산 가운데 하나인 요구사항은 전통적인 시스템 개발에서와 마찬가지로 모든 핵심자산의 기초가 되는 부분이며, 다른 핵심자산의 공통성과 가변성(Commonality and Variability : C&V)을 결정하는 중요한 요소가 된다. 하지만 요구사항은 도메인 전문가 혹은 개발자가 경험에 기반하여 정형적인 프로세스 없이 분석하고 있으며, 동일한 도메인 요구사항임에도 불구하고 요구사항이 재사용 되지 않고 있다. 따라서 도메인 요구사항은 객관적인 방법을 통해 공통성과 가변성을 도출하고 이를 재사용 할 수 있는 프로세스가 정립되어야 할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 도메인 요구사항을 객관적인 근거에 따라 분석할 수 있는 4가지 활동 즉 도메인 범위 결정, 도메인 요구사항 추출 및 일반화, 도메인 요구사항 분석 및 모델링, 도메인 요구사항 변경 관리 활동 및 그에 따른 세부적인 활동을 제시하였다. 이를 요구사항 관리에 적용할 경우 분석한 도메인 요구사항과 관련된 아키텍처 혹은 컴포넌트의 재사용성 증대를 통하여 제품 개발기간과 비용을 줄이며 생산성을 향상시키는 등의 장점을 가져올 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한 프로덕트 라인 공학에서 핵심자산의 기초가 되는 요구사항을 체계적으로 분석하고 관리함으로써, 요구사항을 기반으로 산출되는 다양한 산출물의 품질을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
