Recently, Multi-Objective Optimization of design elements is an important issue in building design. Design variables that considering the specificities of the different environments should use the appropriate algorithm on optimization process. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the optimal solution using three evolutionary algorithms and energy modeling simulation. This paper consists of three steps: i)Developing three evolutionary algorithm model for optimization of design elements ; ii) Conducting Multi-Objective Optimization based on the developed model ; iii) Conducting comparative analysis of the optimal solution from each of the algorithms. Including Non-dominated Sorted Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II), Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO) and Random Search were used for optimization. Each algorithm showed similar range of result data. However, the execution speed of the optimization using the algorithm was shown a difference. NSGA-II showed the fastest execution speed. Moreover, the most optimal solution distribution is derived from NSGA-II.

The application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has recently attracted considerable interest in various areas. A three-dimensional multiple-input multiple-output concentric two-hemisphere model is proposed to characterize the scattering environment around a vehicle in an urban UAV-to-vehicle communication scenario. Multipath components of the model consisted of lineof-sight and single-bounced components. This study focused on the key parameters that determine the scatterer distribution. A time-variant process was used to analyze the nonstationarity of the proposed model. Vital statistical properties, such as the space-time-frequency correlation function, Doppler power spectral density, level-crossing rate, average fade duration, and channel capacity, were derived and analyzed. The results indicated that with an increase in the maximum scatter radius, the time correlation and level-crossing rate decreased, the frequency correlation function had a faster downward trend, and average fade duration increased. In addition, with the increase of concentration parameter, the time correlation, space correlation, and level-crossing rate increased, average fade duration decreased, and Doppler power spectral density became flatter. The proposed model was compared with current geometry-based stochastic models (GBSMs) and showed good consistency. In addition, we verified the nonstationarity in the temporal and spatial domains of the proposed model. These conclusions can be used as references in the design of more reasonable communication systems.
One of the roles of the Semantic Web services is to execute dynamic intra-organizational services including the integration and interoperation of business processes. Since different organizations design their processes differently, the retrieval of similar semantic business processes is necessary in order to support inter-organizational collaborations. Most approaches for finding services that have certain features and support certain business processes have relied on some type of logical reasoning and exact matching. This paper presents our approach of using imprecise matching for expanding results from an exact matching engine to query the OWL(Web Ontology Language) MIT Process Handbook. MIT Process Handbook is an electronic repository of best-practice business processes. The Handbook is intended to help people: (1) redesigning organizational processes, (2) inventing new processes, and (3) sharing ideas about organizational practices. In order to use the MIT Process Handbook for process retrieval experiments, we had to export it into an OWL-based format. We model the Process Handbook meta-model in OWL and export the processes in the Handbook as instances of the meta-model. Next, we need to find a sizable number of queries and their corresponding correct answers in the Process Handbook. Many previous studies devised artificial dataset composed of randomly generated numbers without real meaning and used subjective ratings for correct answers and similarity values between processes. To generate a semantic-preserving test data set, we create 20 variants for each target process that are syntactically different but semantically equivalent using mutation operators. These variants represent the correct answers of the target process. We devise diverse similarity algorithms based on values of process attributes and structures of business processes. We use simple similarity algorithms for text retrieval such as TF-IDF and Levenshtein edit distance to devise our approaches, and utilize tree edit distance measure because semantic processes are appeared to have a graph structure. Also, we design similarity algorithms considering similarity of process structure such as part process, goal, and exception. Since we can identify relationships between semantic process and its subcomponents, this information can be utilized for calculating similarities between processes. Dice's coefficient and Jaccard similarity measures are utilized to calculate portion of overlaps between processes in diverse ways. We perform retrieval experiments to compare the performance of the devised similarity algorithms. We measure the retrieval performance in terms of precision, recall and F measure? the harmonic mean of precision and recall. The tree edit distance shows the poorest performance in terms of all measures. TF-IDF and the method incorporating TF-IDF measure and Levenshtein edit distance show better performances than other devised methods. These two measures are focused on similarity between name and descriptions of process. In addition, we calculate rank correlation coefficient, Kendall's tau b, between the number of process mutations and ranking of similarity values among the mutation sets. In this experiment, similarity measures based on process structure, such as Dice's, Jaccard, and derivatives of these measures, show greater coefficient than measures based on values of process attributes. However, the Lev-TFIDF-JaccardAll measure considering process structure and attributes' values together shows reasonably better performances in these two experiments. For retrieving semantic process, we can think that it's better to consider diverse aspects of process similarity such as process structure and values of process attributes. We generate semantic process data and its dataset for retrieval experiment from MIT Process Handbook repository. We suggest imprecise query algorithms that expand retrieval results from exact matching engine such as SPARQL, and compare the retrieval performances of the similarity algorithms. For the limitations and future work, we need to perform experiments with other dataset from other domain. And, since there are many similarity values from diverse measures, we may find better ways to identify relevant processes by applying these values simultaneously.
The purpose of this research is to develop an effective teaching-learning model and suggest efficient methods for improving the learning abilities in mathematics of the students of engineering college. For this purpose, we examined their learning styles and learning attitudes toward Mathematics, which are important factors in teaching-learning process, and analyzed the relation between them. As a result, we found that participants had a disposition of being dependent and highly participating, so we made an effort to develop a teaching-learning model which can make the students active and highly involved in. After applying the developed teaching-learning model to Engineering Mathematics class for one semester, we conducted survey of the participants' responses. In conclusion, we found that this model is very helpful for Engineering students to utilize a self-directed learning by diagnosing and adjusting their learning process in Meta-cognitive way. Also, it is confirmed that this model has a considerable influence in which students can actively participate in class and have positive attitude to Mathematics learning.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes of students' modeling ability in terms of 'meta-modeling knowledge' and 'modeling practice' through co-construction of scientific model. Co-construction of scientific model instructions about astronomy were given to 41 middle-school students. The students were given a before and after instruction modeling ability tests. The results show that students' 'meta-modeling knowledge' has changed into a more scientifically advanced thinking about models and modeling after the instruction. Students were able to be aware that 'they could express their thoughts using models', 'many models could be used to explain a single phenomena' and 'scientific models may change' through co-construction modeling process. The change in the 'modeling practice' of the students was divided into four cases (the level improving, the level lowering, the high-level maintaining, the low-level maintaining) depending on the change of pre-posttest levels. The modeling practice level of most students has improved through the instruction. These changes were influenced by co-construction process that provides opportunities to compete and compare their models to other models. Meanwhile, the modeling practice level of few students has lowered or maintained low level. Science score of these students at school was relatively high and they thought that the goal of learning is to get a higher score in exams by finding the correct answer. This means that students who were kept well under traditional instruction may feel harder to adapt to co-construction of scientific model instruction, which focuses more on the process of constructing knowledge based on evidences.
Recently developed software systems have many components, and their complexity is thus increasing. Last year, about 375 bug reports in one day were reported to a software repository in Eclipse and Mozilla open source projects. With so many bug reports submitted, developers' time and efforts have increased unnecessarily. Since the bug severity is manually determined by quality assurance, project manager or other developers in the general bug fixing process, it is biased to them. They might also make a mistake on the manual decision because of the large number of bug reports. Therefore, in this study, we propose an approach of bug severity prediction to solve these problems. First, we find similar topics within a new bug report and reduce the candidate reports of the topic by using the meta field of the bug report. Next, we train the reduced reports by applying Naive Bayes Multinomial. Finally, we predict the severity of the new bug report. We compare our approach with other prediction algorithms by using bug reports in open source projects. The results show that our approach better predicts bug severity than other algorithms.

In the Semantic Web, it is possible to provide intelligent information retrieval and automated web services by defining a concept of information resource and representing a semantic relation between resources with meta data and ontology. It is very important to manage semantic data such as ontology and meta data efficiently for implementing essential functions of the Semantic Web. Thus we propose an index structure to support more accurate search results and efficient query processing by considering semantic and structural features of the semantic data. Especially we use a graph data model to express semantic and structural features of the semantic data and process various type of queries by using graph model based path expressions. In this paper the proposed index aims to distinguish our approach from earlier studies and involve the concept of the Semantic Web in its entirety by querying on primarily extracted structural path information and secondary extracted one through semantic inferences with ontology. In the experiments, we show that our approach is more accurate and efficient than the previous approaches and can be applicable to various applications in the Semantic Web.

This study deals with an AI architecture model for collecting battlefield data using the tactical C4I system. Based on this model, the artificial staff can be utilized in tactical echelon. In the current structure of the Army's tactical C4I system, Servers are operated by brigade level and above and divided into an active and a standby server. In this C4I system structure, the AI server must also be installed in each unit and must be switched when the C4I server is switched. The tactical C4I system operates a server(DB) for each unit, so data matching is partially delayed or some data is not matched in the inter-working process between servers. To solve these issues, this study presents an operation concept so that all of alternate server can be integrated based on virtualization technology, which is used as an source data for AI Meta DB. In doing so, this study can provide criteria for the AI architectural model of the ground tactical echelon.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of 133 studies related to patient compliance published between 1980 and 2001 and to assess the effectiveness of intervention on compliance by using meta-analysis. We collected the existing literatures by using web and manual search 'patient compliance', 'sick role behavior', 'major clinical disease', and 'intervention' as key words and by reviewing content of journals related to medicine, nursing and public health. The compliance interventions were classified by theoretical focus into educational, behavioral, and affective categories within which specific intervention strategies were further distinguished. The compliance indicators broadly represent five classes of compliance-related assessments: (1) health outcomes (eg, blood pressure and hospitalization), (2) direct indicators (eg, urine and blood tracers and weight change), (3) indirect indicators (eg, pill count and refill records), (4) subjective report (eg, patients' or others' reports), (5) utilization (appointment making and keeping, use of preventive services). Quantitative meta-analysis was performed by MetaKorea program which was developed for meta-analysis in Korea. Among the 133 articles, 10 studies were selected through the qualitative meta-analysis process, and then only 6 studies were selected for the quantitative meta-analysis finally. The interventions produced significant effects for all the compliance indicators with the magnitude of common effect size (4.1192) than the non-intervention group in a random effect model. The largest effects were each study for patient of hypertension using health outcome such as blood pressure (0.4679) and diabetes mellitus using direct indicator such as glucose level in blood and urine (0.7753). These results suggest that strategic interventions showed clear advantage for improvement of patient compliance compared with non-intervention group.
In recent competitive business environment each enterprise has to be agile and flexible. For these purposes run-time monitoring ofservices provided by an enterprise and early decision making through this becomes core competition of the enterprise. In addition, in order to process various innumerable events which are generated on enterprise systems techniques which make filtering of meaningful data are needed. However, the existing study related with this is nothing but discovering of service faults by monitoring depending upon API of BPEL engine or middleware, or is nothing but processing of simple events based on low-level events. Accordingly, there would be limitations to provide useful business information. In this paper, through situation detection an extended complex event model is presented, which is possible to provide more valuable and useful business information. Concretely, first of all an event processing architecture in an enterprise system is proposed, and event meta-model which is suitable to the proposed architecture is going to be defined. Based on the defined meta-model, It is presented that syntax and semantics of constructs in our event processing language including various and progressive event operators, complex event pattern, key, etc. In addition, an event context mechanism is proposed to analyze more delicate events. Finally, through application studies application possibility of this study would be shown and merits of this event model would be present through comparison with other event model.
