  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of trust when a media broadcaster (such as a disc jockey [DJ]) acting as an information source and the content they provide during live commerce streaming affect acceptance intention. Live commerce is increasing rapidly, offering a new fashion distribution channel by supplementing possible shortcomings of existing online shopping. Data was collected for the empirical study from female consumers in their 20s who actively accepted fashion technology. Statistical analysis of the data was conducted using IBM SPSS Macro Process 3.5. First, the reliability and validity of the variables for information source characteristics, content informativeness, trust, and acceptance intention were verified, and each variable was confirmed as a single factor. Bootstrap analysis was performed using Macro Process Model 4 to reveal the effects of information source characteristics and content informativeness on acceptance intention. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect for each path model with trust as a parameter, it was found that both the direct and indirect effects of the mediating path were significant. This result means that the characteristics of information sources and content informativeness are partially mediated by trust. Therefore, to promote consumer behavior in a live commerce shopping environment, it is necessary to enhance trust. This can be achieved by a media broadcaster with fashion expertise to increase the perception of the attractiveness of the information source and to improve the usefulness of the fashion information being delivered.

  • This study aims to identify the relationship between ADHD trait and game addiction among high school students, and to examine the double mediating model of hardiness and emotional use of music on that relationship. Participants were 254 male and female high school students. World Health Organization ADHD Self-Report Scale, Short Form of Hardiness Questionnaire, Use of Music Inventory, and Internet Gaming Use-Elicited Symptom Screen were used for this study. PROCESS Macro 3.5 Model 6 was used to analyse a double mediating effect. Results revealed that ADHD trait was negatively correlated with hardiness of high school students, and positively correlated with emotional use of music and game addiction. And, hardiness of high school students was positively correlated with emotional use of music and negatively correlated with game addiction, whereas emotional use of music was negatively correlated with game addiction. It was found that hardiness and emotional use of music were sequentially mediating ADHD trait and game addiction among high school students. These findings suggest that hardiness and emotional use of music play some special roles in the path in which adolescents' ADHD trait affects game addiction.

  • Mindfulness is being used as one of the techniques for emotional regulation. In emotional regulation, mindfulness is considered as an uncontrolled way in that it observes the present experience as it is, rather than attempting to reduce or eliminate negative affective experiences. However, in this study, the purpose of this study is to confirm that mindfulness can affect emotional regulation through perceived control. To confirm this, I verified whether perceived control had a mediating effect on the relationship between mindfulness and difficulty in emotional regulation. For this 366 university students (179 males, 187 females) were surveyed using the scales of mindfulness, perceived control, and difficulty in emotional regulation, and mediation was analysed using Hayes' PROCESS macro. As a result of the analysis, it was found that perceived control had a fully mediating effect in the relationship between mindfulness and emotional regulation difficulties. These results suggest that mindfulness affect emotional regulation through perceived control.

  • This study identified the relationship between perceived mother-grandmother conflicts and subjective well-being among multicultural children, and examined the double mediating model of acculturative stress and adjustment to school life on that relationship. Participants were 205 male and female adolescents living at J county in Gangwon-do. PROCESS Macro 3.5 Model 6 was used for analysis of a double mediating effect. Results revealed that perceived mother-grandmother conflicts was positively correlated with acculturative stress of multicultural children, and negatively correlated with adjustment to school life and subjective well-being. And, acculturative stress of multicultural children was negatively correlated with adjustment to school life and subjective well-being, whereas adjustment to school life was positively correlated with subjective well-being. This study found that acculturative stress and adjustment to school life were sequentially mediating perceived mother-grandmother conflicts and subjective well-being of multicultural children. These findings suggest that the perceived mother-grandmother conflicts might cause multicultural children to experience acculturative stress, and as a result, their subjective well-being level might be reduced due to their low adjustment to school life.

  • With the digital transformation of the entire industry, software competency has become the core competency for the future talent. However, it is difficult to find researches related to the corporate education for improving employee's software capability. Therefore, this study tried to verify the relationship between factors affecting the learning performance of employees in online software education. For this purpose, a survey of 223 employees with online software education experience was analyzed using the SPSS PROCESS macro. As a result of analysis, perceived usefulness and self-regulated learning have been found to have a significant multiple mediating effect on learning performance by digital literacy and satisfaction. This suggests that not only learner factors but also the characteristics of education should be considered. The results of this study are expected to be helpful in designing effective online education programs.

  • This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between social isolation and depression in nurses. This study was conducted with 135 registered nurses in three COVID-19 specialized hospitals. Data were analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and mediation analysis. The mediating effect was analyzed using PROCESS macro for SPSS 4.0 program with bootstrapping method. Social isolation directly influenced social support (𝛽=-.62, p<.001) and depression (𝛽=.49, p<.001). Social support directly influenced depression (𝛽=-.19, p=.028). Social support has a mediating effect between social isolation and depression (indirect effect=.12, 95% CI=0.02~0.29). To managed depression, intervention are needed to reduce social isolation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop strategies that enhance social support to relieve depression in nurses perceived social isolation.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of flourishing on the relationship between role conflict and burnout as perceived by school counselors. A total of 242 school counselors participated in this study. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS and PROCESS macro programs. The study results showed a significant positive correlation between role conflict and burnout and a significant negative correlation between flourishing and role conflict and burnout. In addition, depending on the three subtypes of role conflict (i.e., role-expectation conflict, individual-role conflict, and role ambiguity conflict), the effects on various sub-signs of burnout differed. It was found that flourishing mediated all of these variables of role conflict influencing burnout. These results suggest that flourishing can be considered an indicator for professionalism management of school counselors and a result showing that a positive psychological approach at the school level can be helpful in improving the effectiveness of school counseling by contributing positively not only to students but also to school counselors.

  • In this study, we examine the effects of five needs satisfaction on job satisfaction and turnover intention based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs for clinical nurses. Also, this was a convergence study that confirmed the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between need satisfaction and turnover intention. The participants were 239 clinical nurses at a general hospital located in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed for mediating effects using hierarchical regression analysis and PROCESS Macro (Model 4). Physiological and safety needs did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction while belongingness, esteem, and self-actualizations need had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. On the other hand, physiological and esteem needs had a significant negative effect on turnover intention. In addition, the mediating effect of job satisfaction was significant in the relationship between need satisfaction (physiological, safety, belongingness, and self-actualization needs) and turnover intention. We confirm that an increase in the satisfaction of the five needs of clinical nurses can reduce their turnover intention. Therefore, we suggest that it is necessary to effectively manage need satisfaction and job satisfaction in the clinical field.
