KORAIL airport railroad is the largest private invested project and also the first private tried rail SOC, but which was acquisited into KORAIL on 30. Nov. 2009. Presently, airport train opened on 23. MAR. 2007 as the first phase(Inchon international airport - Kimpo airport, operation distance 37.6km), the 2nd phase(Kimpo airport - Seoul station, operation distacne 20.4km) is expected at the late this year. In this study, I tried to compare domestic & foreign airport train in the perspective of transfer system and searched for the development agendas.

In the early 1990s, the market-orientation attracting a lot of attention as the implementation strategy of marketing is an effort to give customers a value and get sustained earnings in the market. In the previous studies, most of the studies on the market-orientation have focused on hotels, large companies and IT, so it was hard to find the study on railroad in the view of transport service. Thus, this study aimed to find out how marketing activities using transport service and a variety of products linked railroad are shared by group members and what effect the organized union of corporate culture has on business performance as market-orientation activity. Previously, the purpose of this study was to research whether the management system of a private enterprise based on market could be applied to the public enterprise like Korea railroad.

국내의 철도운영과 관련된 안전법령은 크게 철도안전법과 산업안전보건법으로 구분할 수 있다. 기존의 철도운영기관은 공사형태의 공공기관으로 철도차량 및 철도시설물에 대한 유지보수를 직영 직원 중심으로 하고 있었으나, 코레일공항철도(주) 등 민간철도운영기관의 출현으로 경영합리화를 목적으로 철도차량 및 철도시설물 유지보수를 외주에 의해 운영되고 있다. 그러나 동일한 안전관리시스템으로 적용하기에 운영상에 문제점이 있어, 그 문제점들을 도출해 보고 특히, 파견근로자 보호에 관한 법률에 의거 도급용역과 파견근로의 차이를 인식하고, 안전관리측면에서 어떻게 접근하는 것이 최적인가를 모색하였다. 철도종사자들의 안전의식을 설문을 통해 비교 분석하여, 현 안전관리 측면의 실태를 파악하고, 그 개선안을 제시하고자 하였다. 특히 설문을 통해 직영 직원과 외주업체 직원들 사이, 그리고 관리직과 일반직원들 사이의 안전의식의 수준차이를 밝히고, 외주업체의 안전관리 향상 방안을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 또한, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법을 활용하여 안전관리시스템의 기본골격인 P-D-C-A(Plan-Do-Check-Act) 사이클 중에서 가장 중요한 요소가 무엇인지를 파악을 통해 안전관리 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

Accumulated deficits resulting from managing the Korean Railroad and debts from the construction of the KTX (Korea Train Express which is a high-speed rail system) have left the Korean Railroad faced with great troubles. Since it changed into a public corporation Korail on January 1st, 2005, the Korea Railroad has been making unceasing efforts to overcome the troubles and improve its management. However, even these efforts haven't worked in the face of the improved conditions of other transportation methods such as better networks of land roads and air ways. The Korea Railroad had its revenue from its railway transportation limited, and has tried to expand its business to non-transportational areas. In some metropolitan cities, the Korea Railroad made investments in real estate by constructing station buildings based on private money. Yet, in small and medium size cities, the Korea Railroad has little particular strategic projects for business development. Recently certain small and medium size regional cities began to plan on business developments for the ex-railway land, and some small towns have developed real estate on the ex-railway land. Nevertheless, there have been no systematic case studies to classify these real estate developments.

이 연구는 부산지역 철도역에서 소장하고 있는 기록들을 조사하여 그 현황을 밝히고, 이 기록들이 로컬리티의 기억을 재구성하는 데에 있어서의 의미를 살펴보았다. 부산지역에 소재한 17개의 철도역을 방문하여 소장 기록을 조사한 결과, 1) 공공영역의 기록관리에서 이탈된 기록이다. 2) 주요 기록 유형은 역사(驛史)와 역세보고서, 운수운전설비카드, 사진 자료, 기타 자료의 다섯 가지 유형으로 나눌 수 있다. 3) 폐기나 분실 등의 이유로 각 역마다 소장 기록의 규모에는 차이가 있다. 4) 각 유형별 기록들은 대체로 비슷한 서식을 가지고 있다. 특히 역사(驛史)나 역세보고서 등에 담긴 서술과 이미지는 역의 모습, 역 주변의 경관, 지역민들의 생활상과 경제상 등 다양한 모습을 보여주고 있어 로컬리티의 기억을 재구성하는 데 의미가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 철도역 소장 기록과 함께 각 기관에 흩어져 있는 공기록, 사기록의 잔존양태를 파악하여 로컬리티의 기억을 재구성해야 하며, 구술기록을 통해 결락을 메울 것을 제안한다.

의왕ICD는 현대적 시설과 하역장비를 갖추어 연간 100만TEU를 처리 할 수 있는 수도권유일의 내륙컨테이너기지이다. 유리한 입지조건, 수도권 물류수송의 거점 역할, 내륙통관 기능 등 많은 이점을 가지고 있어 철도수송 활성화의 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 그러나 의왕ICD는 현재 시설 및 운영상의 문제점으로 컨테이너화물 철도수송 활성화의 한계에 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 의왕ICD의 문제점을 시설부분과 운영부분으로 구분하여 분석하고, 2023년 점용허가 기간이 만료되는 시점을 기준으로 단기, 중장기로 구분하여 개선방안을 제시하였다. 그러나 의왕ICD의 철도수송 활성화는 이러한 개선방안 외에도 철도공사와 입주업체의 노력과함께, 정부, 의왕시, 철도시설공단 등 관련기관의 지원과 협력이 있어야만 가능 할 것이다. 이러한 의왕ICD의 개선은 복합일관수송체계를 구축하여 효율적인 철도물류 인프라 조성 및 철도물류 활성화에 기여하고, 또한 친환경 수송시스템 구축으로 정부의 저탄소 녹색성장 정책에도 기조 할 것으로 기대된다.

Rolling stock maintenance, which focuses on preventive maintenance, is typically implemented considering the potential harm that may be inflicted to passengers in the event of failure. The cost of preventive maintenance throughout the life cycle of a rolling stock is 60%-75% of the initial purchase cost. Therefore, ensuring stability and reducing maintenance costs are essential in terms of economy. In particular, private railroad operators must reduce government support budget by effectively utilizing railroad resources and reducing maintenance costs. Accordingly, this study analyzes the reliability characteristics of components using field data. Moreover, it resolves the problem of determining an economical replacement interval considering the timing of scrapping railroad vehicles. The procedure for determining the optimal replacement interval involves five steps. According to the decision model, the optimal replacement interval for the onboard signal device components of the "A" line train is calculated using field data, such as failure data, preventive maintenance cost, and failure maintenance cost. The field data analysis indicates that the mileage meter is 9 years, which is less than the designed durability of 15 years. Furthermore, a life cycle in which the phase signal has few failures is found to be the same as the actual durability of 15 years.

본 논문은 조선철도에 대한 만주철도의 위탁경영에 대한 연구로서, 위탁경영 당시 조선철도는 조선총독부 관할하의 철도와는 다른 형태의 경영형태로 관리되었고, 약 8년후에 위탁이 해제되어 다시 조선철도가 직영되는 과정을 겪게 되었다. 이러한 국경을 넘어선 위탁경영의 방식은 매우 드문 형식이며 특히 사철 성격을 띤 만주철도의 운영으로 새로운 변화도 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 조선철도의 만주철도위탁 특징은 우리나라 철도 최초의 건설과 운영이 분리된 상하 분리모델이었으며, 국가적으로 교통과 행정이 분리된 사례였다. 또한 철도관련 영업영역이 확대되었고 사설철도가 많이 건설되고 운영 되었다. 마지막으로는 대륙과의 연계운송이 더욱 확대되었다. 이러한 분석을 통해 향후 동아시아의 철도운영에 관한 비교 연구와 조선철도의 성격을 분석하는데 주요한 자료로 활용될 것이다.

국내 최초로 민간자본이 투자된 대형 지하철인 서울 9호선은 김포공항과 강남을 연결하는 1차 구간이 2009년 개통을 앞두고 있다. 지자체와 민간이 시설을 건설하고 전문 공공교통 서비스회사가 운영을 맡는 9호선은 보유한 자원을 최고로 활용하여 최대의 효율성을 이끌어낼 필요가 있으며, 관련 기관과의 적극적인 협력을 통한 핵심역량발휘와 경쟁력 제고가 필요하다. 본고에서는 9호선 운영분야에 초점을 맞추어 완급결합을 중심으로 한 9호선 운전체계와, 타 교통수단과의 연계, 공항철도와의 효과적인 직결운행 측면에서 9호선의 운영개선 방안을 제시한다.

In this thesis, the Development of Station Buildigs Design during last a hundred years in Korea is analyzed. From the early time to today, several posts of Office of Korean National Railroads have controlled the Station Buildings Design by Standard Drawings. Sometimes, private architects joined in designing the Stations, that have the value as historic architecture. Under the Japanese imperialistic rule, Japanese Officer designed all of the stations ; that can be classified 1) wooden compromise style, 2) renaissance style, 3) northern European house style, 4) general station by standard drawing, 5) Korean house style. 6) modernism style. Especially, Korean house style was not planned to commemorate the old Korean Architecture, but to beguile the Japanese tourists' monotony of the journey in Korea. After the Independence, the Station Buildings are grouped into 1) international style, 2) modernism style with traditional details, 3) Station Complex Buildings. In the future, design of the Railroad Station Building needs to be diversified to satisfy tourists' emotion.
