동력 분기 하이브리드 전기 자동차의 운행 모드 시뮬레이션 (Operation Modes of a Power Split Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • The power split hybrid power train is considered to be one of the most prospective configuration for the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). Toyota Prius, representing this type of vehicle, showed outstanding performances in fuel efficiency, emission reduction and acceleration. The excellence is largely due to the fact that it utilizes almost all operation modes of HEV. Those modes include ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) driving, idle stop, fuel cut-off, power assist, active charging, regenerative braking and so forth. In this paper, a few of the mode operations were simulated using AVL Cruise. Also, control logics to operate the powertrain in each mode were developed. The states of powertrain components were displayed and analyzed. By controlling the three components (engine, motor and generator), it was possible to run the powertrain in several hybrid operation modes.

  • Urban dynamometer driving schedule(FTP-75 mode) plays very significant role on automotive emission test, due to reference point. The overall system energy efficiency of a HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is highly dependent on the energy management strategy employed. An energy source is the heart of a HEV. In order to applicable to a vehicle component, it must be need to real world test result. But, the present state of things have numerous problems. In this paper, be studied performed based on HEV simulation software in virtual world and chassis dynamometer test in real world and the result make a comparative. Toyota Prius vehicle was adapted as a modeling and real testing to evaluate the hybrid components and energy balancing management. The point at issue is voltage and current analysis for HEV battery SOC(State of Charge), and verification for energy.

  • 무공해 자동차를 만들기 위해 중요한 요소로서는 주행거리와 알맞은 가격이다. 니켈-수소 배터리와 같은 향상된 배터리의 개발은 부분적으로 문제를 해결할 수 있으며, 또 하나의 효과적인 방법은 배터리 관리 시스템이나. 니켈-수소 배터리와 배터리 ECU는 주행거리, 가속도, 등판능력과 같은 무공해 자동차의 성능에 영향을 미치는 중요한 구성품이다. 예컨대 운행 중 쉽게 발생하는 단락, 과방전, 과충전은 배터리와 관계되는 가장 큰 문제점이기 때문에 전용의 HEV용 배터리 ECU의 개발은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 배터리 전류적산 및 전압에 기초한 HEV용 SOC 알고리즘을 제안하고 배터리 ECU를 설계 및 해석하였으며, 시험을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • About 100 years after the start of mass production by American car maker Ford in 1913, the automobile industry has come to a major transformation in 100 years. In this transformation period, automakers are facing the biggest challenge of converting power sources, the basis of automobiles, from existing internal combustion engines to electric vehicles. Hybrid vehicles have been released in Japan since the late 1990s, and changes in automobile power sources have occurred early. In order to gain global leadership in hybrid vehicles, Japanese automakers and the Japanese government joined forces to promote the growth of the domestic hybrid vehicle market. The government has implemented a policy to substantially subsidize the high price of hybrid cars compared to internal combustion engine cars by providing purchase subsidies and tax benefits to buyers. Toyota has increased its line-up of hybrid cars around the Prius and has further strengthened communication with customers for the sale of hybrid vehicles. As a result of continuing these efforts for about 20 years, the percentage of Japan's hybrid vehicle market in 2022 reached 51% for passenger cars. Recently, each country has been setting and promoting aggressive goals for electric vehicles that require a wider range of physical and institutional infrastructure than hybrid vehicles. This study aims to assess the growth of electric vehicles by looking at the trend of hybrid vehicles and how they've been distributed in the Japanese market.
