  • This paper deals with scheduling problems which are the most important subtask in High-Level Synthesis. Especially, we have concentrated our attentions on the data-path scheduling which can get the structural informaion trom the behavioral algorithm as a first step in synthesis procedure. Suggest Forward scheduling methode is executed the ASAP and ALAP scheduling to use the fifth - order elliptic wave filter of a standard benchmark moedl, and then it is drawing up T.N matrix table by the number resource and control-step, using the table extract of the simple than down-limit value of the control-step for the number of given resource th use this table. All of existing list scheduling techniques determine the priority function first, and then do the operation scheduling, But, the suggested forward scheduling technique does the schedule first, and determines the priority functions if needed in scheduling process.

  • In this paper, the proper rebate level can be decided in programs of energy savings by solving an optimization problem with an objective function, which satisfies a maximum value of total energy savings. And then, each prevalence amount is estimated by using virtual Bass model which is a function of rebate level, instead of the conventional Bass model. Finally, by cost/benefit analysis of the estimated prevalence amounts, the priority order is obtained for the investment of each program. The priority order obtained in this way may result the improvement of investment efficiency for DSM(Demand-Side Management) programs and the reasonable plan decision for supply and demand in power system.

  • This article deals with rural village development project of Namsunghyun 'Gamggot(persimmon flower)' area, based on local tourism resources. For more efficient use of local tourism resources, questionnaire surveys for local residents and visitors were conducted. On the base of the results, the vision and objectives were established. And each items of project by division were also considered by the results of such surveys. Finally, priority scores of each items of project, based on importances and weighted value, were derived for more efficient propulsion of project and to construct sustainable rural community.

  • The goals of this study were to development Natural Ecosystem Value Assessment Model, to suggest the practical applicability of the Natural Ecosystem value assessment for development areas, and to assess natural ecosystem quantitatively using GIS. The Model can evaluate Natural Ecosystem Value between before and after land developments. To select indicators for the model, we conducted the literature reviews. and six indicators and the standard of evaluation had been developed through the expert interviews and literature reviews. the relative importance of the evaluation index throught two times expert questionnaires was found out. the Natural Ecosystem Value Assessment Model has been established, The results demonstrate that although the suggested six indicators are arranged by priority, to maintain quantitative and qualitative the natural ecosystem value, all indicators are desirable to be maintained complementarily. The findings of this study suggest that the natural ecosystem value assessment model appears to be effective an assessment for damaged natural environment value and possible to assign a score value. Also, this model can be applied to research areas and has implications to help maintain the natural ecosystem in land development districts.

  • Hierarchical modulation has been considered for achieving higher data rates in Terrestrial-DMB(T-DMB) systems. And for achieving a higher data rates transmission, the low-priority (LP) data, which is used to carry additional data, such as video data, audio data and textual data, should be perfectly decoded in a certain value of $E_b/N_o$. Unfortunately, the man-made noise badly affects the high-priority (HP) symbol, which is used to carry the conventional data in the existed T-DMB system; and since the advanced T-DMB system is proposed to fit for the legacy T-DMB receivers, the low-priority symbols in the hierarchical modulation are much worse affected by the neighbors, who are both in the same quadrant. Because of the feature that mentioned previously, the turbo code has been considered to deal with the LP data. And due to the degradation which caused by the shortened symbol distance, the error performance of LP data is not sufficient by only using the turbo code. In this paper, we propose a Reed-Solomon code used outside of turbo code, and with the turbo code, it becomes a concatenated code. In this paper, there are some simulation results, within the comparison of those performances, we can see how a Reed-Solomon code is utilized for degradation of error performance which is caused by the hierarchical constellation, and how to design a Reed-Solomon code which is suitable for improving the degradation of error performance.

  • In this study, the functional priority of wetlands was determined through analysis of previous research. To determine relative importance, three processes were performed. First, quantitative values from the case studies were normalized. Second, non-quantitative values were prioritized based on standard criteria. Third, equal weight was applied as long as there was no special consideration regarding a particular value's disproportionate priority in the research. Finally, results were grouped into large, medium, and small classes. In this study, the functions of the medium class were found to be the most significant, in the following order of priority: water supply and ground water recharge; culture and recreation; biodiversity; product; water quality control; flood control; erosion control; moderation of climate change; and provision of biochemical matter. To verify these results, we compared our findings with those of an assessment that used the Rapid Assessment Method (RAM) on the same type of study area. Whereas this comparison indicated some correlations by the culture, water storage, and genetic sustainability functions, it suggested a lack of such relationship by the water purification and flood prevention functions.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose a new Risk Priority Number(RPN) evaluation method which analyzes value of product functions by mining customer opinions in Social Network Service(SNS). Methods: A traditional RPN is measured by three evaluation standards (Severity, Occurrence, Detection) which are analyzed by manufacturing engineers and researchers. On the other hand, these standards are analyzed by customers' viewpoints through SNS opinion mining in this research. In order to extract customer feedbacks from textual data sets, the methodology in this paper implies natural language processing, hereby collecting product related data sets and analyzing the opinions automatically. An emotional polarity of an opinion indicates severity, while the number of negative opinion shows occurrence, and the entire number of customer opinion refers to detection. Results: The results of this study are as follows; As a result of the CRPN evaluation, it is confirmed that the features evaluated as risky are highly likely to be improved in the next series. Therefore, CRPN is an effective risk assessment model that reflects customer feedback. Conclusion: Reflecting customer feedback is a useful tool for risk assessment of the product as well as for developing new products and improving existing products.

  • This Study attempted to comprehend difference between hiker and non-hiker's sense of place value at Namhansanseong Provincial Park. Especially, it was analyzed after visitors, who were divided into local residents & tourists and first time visitors & repeat visitors. Out of 600 visitors, who were over 19 years old, participated in the survey, 587 responses were used for data analysis. Consequently, Sense of place value at Namhansanseong Provincial Park were classified into three factors: Health Culture, Ecology Environment, and Connectedness. Hikers feel higher value on promotion of health, relaxation, environment than non-hikers. Among hikers, local residents feel higher value on ecology environment and connectedness than tourists. Among non-hikers, however, they have no difference between local residents and tourists, only repeat visitors and first time visitors. On this result, possibility of resident participation management on natural environment and trail was considered, and when the program, which is for raising cultural and traditional value, would develop, increasing number of repeat visitor should be considered as a high priority.

  • As the number of online privacy incidents are increasing, lawsuits related with personal information infringements have been also growing as well. However, there are large differences between a plaintiff and a defendant to determine the amount of payment for damages from the incident. After the verdict was made, a plaintiff is not satisfied with the amount of compensation, whereas a defendant usually tries to their best to reduce the payment amount. This is because the value for personal information are hardly assessed exactly. In addition, there is no criteria for calculating the price of the information itself. Since the development of information technology enables the firms could collect and use any piece of information to identify a particular individual, the range of personal information has been also broadening. Based on these phenomenon, this study tries to grouping the types of personal information and exploring the perceived value of types of information. Therefore, this study could provide a foundation for narrowing the gap of the value of personal information between the firm and the defendant. Through AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), this study finds out that people usually value more on biometrics information, medical records, and criminal records whereas weigh less for email address and date of birth.
