좌절감정의 원인 및 극복행동과 제품선택에서 디자인의 심미성 선호 (Sources of Evoking Frustration, Actions to Overcome the Frustration and Preference of Design Aesthetic Principle in Product Choice)

  • 이 연구는 부정감정인 좌절에 주목하고, 좌절감정을 유발시키는 원인을 탐색하였으며, 좌절한 소비자가 좌절을 극복하는 과정을 식별하고, 또 제품을 선택하는 경우에 디자인의 심미성 선호도의 제품선택에 대한 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 좌절은, 실패의 원인이 소비자가 통제할 수 있을 때 느껴지는 분노와 다르게, 목적달성의 실패가 확실하고 실패의 원인이 소비자가 통제할 수 없는 환경요인에 있을 때 느끼는 것으로 탐색되었다. 둘째, 좌절을 느낀 소비자는, 재도전을 통해 실패상황을 적극적으로 극복하기 보다는, 자신의 실패상황에 대한 감정적 지지와 위로를 가까운 지인으로부터 받아서 실패상황을 감정적으로 극복하려 한다. 셋째, 좌절을 느낀 소비자는 제품의 선택에서 제품의 디자인이 강조심미성 보다는 조화 심미성을 느끼게 할 때에 더 선호한다. 따라서 마케팅관리자가 좌절을 느낀 소비자에게 자신의 제품을 소구할 때에 제품 디자인에서 강조원리보다 조화의 원리에 의한 접근이 필요하다.

한국복식에 표현된 쌍의 미적연구 (Aesthetic Study of a Pair Expressed in Korean Costume)

  • In this study the features expressed by the Korean dresses and its ornaments have been examined through the objects of this thesis, the concept of the pair, under the basis of Korean myths, from which esthetic and spiritual values have been derived. At first, the beauty of the balance pursuing the neatness. Since the pair is made with two piecess, at the time of the placement, the sense of the balance is obtained by the arrangement acccording to the dichotomous principle such as up and down or left and right. Sometimes, the pair could yield the natural pictorial composition, but almost of the time symmetrical composition. This kind of composition is made symmetrical like the structure of the human body, and it is resulted in a neat beauty, which visually presents a harmony, stability and intimacy. At second, the beauty of the harmony in the spirit of the oneness. From the dualistic combination basing on Korean myths, the common features and the significance of the co-existence, obtained from the combination of the pair of the pieces, could be found. By the oneness of the both elements, the creation principle, which is the basic one for a new life, could be established, and the mystery of the creation and the sense of the harmony could be found in it. At third, the wholeness of the completeness concept. The completeness could be felt rather by two than by one, and is provided with a room to be filled with the other one. Consequently, the outer dress is completed with the under dress, and its own beauty could only be made out when the two elements are harmonized. So, it is called as the pair. Like this, the concept about the pair taken roots in the ground of Korean emotions, is basing on the creation principle of the dualistic elements formed from the tradition of Korean myths, and the fact that the mental meaning pursuing the harmony dwells in Korean dress and its ornaments could be confirmed.

두 가지 종류의 직설법적 조건문과 전건 긍정식 (Two Kinds of Indicative Conditionals and Modus Ponens)

  • 필자는 최근 논문 "논란 없는 원리와 최원배 교수의 반론"에서 이른바 '논란 없는 원리'가 논란의 여지가 있다는 주장과 (연역추론으로서의) 전건 긍정식의 타당성이 양립함을 주장했다. 이러한 주장에 대해 최원배 교수는 그의 최근 논문 "논란 없는 원리와 전건 긍정식"에서 세 가지 비판을 제시한다. 첫째, 필자는 'A이면 (아마도) C이다. A이다. 따라서 C이다.' 형식의 추론이 전건 긍정식의 사례임을 부정하지만, 이와 같은 추론은 전건 긍정식의 사례로 간주될 수 있다. 둘째, 연역추론에 기반을 둔 직설법적 조건문과 귀납추론에 기반을 둔 직설법적 조건문을 구분해주는 문법상의 표식이 없기 때문에 이러한 조건문들을 전제로 하는 전건 긍정식들을 형식상 다른 종류의 추론들이라고 보기 어렵다. 셋째, 직설법적 조건문이 귀납추론에 의해 정당화되는 경우를 허용하면 논리개념이 지켜야 하는 조화의 원리를 어기게 된다. 이 논문에서 필자는 이 비판들이 모두 설득력이 없음을 주장한다.

르네상스 고전주의 건축양식의 조형원리와 현대패션디자인에의 적용 - 1999년 이후 클래식 스타일 패션을 중심으로 - (Layout Principles of Renaissance Classicism Architectural Style and Its Application on Modern Fashion Design - Focused on Classic Style Fashion after the Year 1999 -)

  • The analysis of an art trend in the principle dimension starts by observing the object of work in the perspective of formative composition and recognizing it as a universal system. It can be said that it is consistent with an interpretation method for a form theory of formal history by Heinrich W$\ddot{o}$lfflin, a leading form critic in art criticism. Hence, the purpose of this study was to find out what are the formative principles in Renaissance Classicism as a design principle to be applicable to modern fashion by reviewing the formative characteristics of Renaissance Classicism Architecture with which W$\ddot{o}$lfflin directly dealt. As for the theoretical literature review, I used W$\ddot{o}$lfflin's theoretical framework and looked at the Renaissance Classicism Architecture that he studied and examined the possibility of utilizing his theory as a layout principle and the characteristics. As for analysis of design cases, I applied the aforementioned architecture layout principle to modern fashion and conducted case study analysis to delve into distinctive layout principles found in fashion. The study showed that the Renaissance Classicism Architectural Style is marked by linearity, planarity, closing and multiple unity: linearity was expressed in the observation form in fixed frontal view and an emphasis on a tangible silhouette homeogenous and definite line structures; planarity was achieved in the form of paralleled layers of frontal view element, planarity style, and identical and proportional repetition of various sizes.; closing signified the pursuit of complete and clear regularity, and architecture developed in a constructive phase through organizational inevitability and absolute invariability.; multiple unity was expressed in self-completedness and independent parallel of discrete forms and harmony of emphasized individual elements in a totality. Applying these layout characteristics of the Renaissance Classicism Architectural style and to see their individual expressive features, I found out that in adopting layout principles of the Renaissance Classicism Architecture to modern fashion, it turned out to be an emphasis of individual silhouettes, a flattened space, completed objects, organic harmony among independent parts: the emphasis of individual silhouettes was expressed in individual definitiveness of formative lines of clothes in accordance with body joints and an emphasis on formative lines of clothes; the flattened space was marked by single layer structure, planarity of elements of clothes, and listing arrangement by appropriate proportion.; the completedness of the objects was expressed by the stationary state where overall image is fixed, the construction of homogeneous and complete space, and absolute inevitability of internal layout in proportion; lastly, organic harmony of independent parts was stressed in independent completedness of each detail, and organic harmony of the whole. The expressive features would lead to a unique expression style of linear emphasis, proportion, constructive forms, and two-dimensional arrangement. The meaning of this study is follows: The characteristics of art school of thought are given shape by appling & analysing the architectural layout principles of historical art school of thought to modern fashion in the view point of formal construction dimension. The applied possibility of historical art school of thought as the source of inspiration about the fashion design is extended.

논란 없는 원리와 전건 긍정식 (The Uncontested Principle and Modus Ponens)

  • 나는 최원배 (2011)에서 논란 없는 원리를 부정하게 되면 전건 긍정식의 타당성도 부정할 수밖에 없게 된다고 주장하였다. 이에 대해 이병덕은 이병덕 (2012)에서 논란 없는 원리를 부정하면서도 자신이 "전건 긍정식의 타당성을 결코 부정하지 않는다"고 말한다. 과연 그는 자신이 원하는 대로 논란 없는 원리를 부정하면서도 전건 긍정식의 타당성을 주장할 수 있게 된 것일까? 내 생각에는 그럴 수 없는 것으로 보인다.

  • Architectural theories in western architecture have been considered as a basis for answering the fundamental questions of architectonics: proportion, symmetry, color, harmony and so on. Among those the architectural design theory is significant, since it affects the aesthetic evaluation of human perception. This paper gives an outline in applying the traditional design principles of architecture to contemporary architecture by 'unification through similarity' of architectural components such as form, scale, texture and color. As we see from this research, unification can be achieved in a design by the combination of the four components; that is, to balance between the four above-mentioned components in buildings, through the similarity of one or more of these components.

하모니 탐색 알고리즘의 선도 연구에 관한 최첨단 기술 동향과 사례 분석 (State of the Art Technology Trends and Case Analysis of Leading Research in Harmony Search Algorithm)

  • 실세계에는 다양한 최적화 문제가 존재하고 이를 해결하기 위한 연구가 지속되고 있다. 최적화 문제는 목적 함수의 결과 값을 최대 혹은 최소로 만드는 파라미터의 조합을 찾는 문제이다. 하모니 탐색은 이러한 최적화 문제 해결을 위한 인구 기반 메타휴리스틱 알고리즘으로 재즈 음악의 즉흥 연주를 모방하여 고안되었다. 하모니 탐색은 현재 토목, 컴퓨터, 에너지, 의료, 수질 공학 등 다양한 분야의 최적화 문제에 활발히 적용되고 있다. 하모니 탐색은 동작 원리가 간단하고 제약조건이 있는 최적화 문제에서 빠르게 동작한다는 장점이 있다. 특히 경험적 도함수를 통해 해를 개선하여 낮은 반복 횟수로 높은 정확도를 보인 사례들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 하모니 탐색의 동작 원리를 설명하고 최근 3년간 수행된 주요 연구들을 분류, 각 분류에 따라 요약 및 소개, 향후 연구 방향을 제시한다. 분류는 분야별 리뷰, 알고리즘 분석 및 이론, 실세계 문제에 대한 적용으로 나누고 실세계 문제에 대한 적용은 다른 메타휴리스틱 알고리즘과의 결합 여부, 최적화 목적에 따라 분류하여 설명한다.

  • Objectives In order to find out the relationship between the Eight Principle Pattern Identification of Cold-Heat, Deficiency-Excess and the Sasang constitution, we analyzed the clinical data from 500 women with menstrual pain and women without menstrual pain. Methods In the previous study, the subject's information of Typology Complexion Pulse and Symptom was collected, and Eight Principle Pattern Identification was executed based on this. Later, the relationship between the Sasang constitution and the Eight Principle Pattern Identification was statistically analyzed. Results and Conclusion 1. The obvious difference between the experimental group and the control group in the patterns of Cold-Heat and Deficiency-Excess is that patients who complain of menstrual pain do not maintain harmony with the yin-yang ratio, it can be said that the patterns of Cold-Heat and Deficiency-Excess can be a Identification standard that significantly obscures the condition of the disease. 2. There was a significant difference between the Sasang constitution and the Eight Principle Pattern Identification of Cold-Heat. There was no significant difference between the Sasang constitution and the Eight Principle Pattern Identification of Deficiency-Excess.

건축에서 리듬 개념의 수용과 전승에 관한 연구 - 19-20세기 독일어권의 건축이론을 중심으로 - (A Study of the Reception and Development of the Concept of Rhythm in the History of Architectural Theory -19th and 20th Century German Architectural Theory-)

  • Historically, rhythm has played a key role not only in musical composition, but also in architectural design. In 1893, architectural theorist and art scholar August Schmarsow, in "The Essence of Architectural Creation," created a new definition of architecture as space-creation and characterized rhythm as a design principle. However, this new idea was confronted by Heinrich Wölfflin. While Schmarsow's theory represents a dynamic world-view based on anthropomorphism, the architectural theory of Wölfflin is based on the notion of harmony, displaying a kind of conservative stasis. These two main streams have greatly influenced the development of modern architecture. The concept of space has prevailed in the discourse of modern architecture, but the principle of rhythm has seldom received any positive recognition. This article introduces and develops the concept of rhythm and disputes whether Behrens and Frankl in particular, two who dispute Schmarsow's theories, have used the concept of rhythm in terms of space. I conclude that they could not overcome the notion of the physical-the body-, thus their use of the term rhythm is incongruous with the notion of space. The idea of rhythm in architectural creation remains an up and coming idea.

아파트 환경색채의 배색 조화 방법 -익산시를 중심으로- (The Methods of Harmony in Color Combination of Environmental Color for Apartment -Focused on Iksan City-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도시경관의 이미지를 개선하기 위한 환경색채의 배색조화 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 연구 대상지역은 익산시 22개 아파트단지이며 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 자연색체계에 기초한 하드와 시빅의 배색모델을 준거의 틀로 사용하였다. 그리고 환경색채 지각과 색채미학에서 새롭게 제시된 다양한 이론들을 검토하였으며 환경 색채디자인에 적용될 수 있는 미학적 특성들을 제안하였다. 첫째, 색채조화 원리는 뉘앙스와 톤에 기초한다. 그러므로 뉘앙스와 관계된 명도와 채도의 조절이 배색에 중요하게 작용된다. 둘째, 색채지각에 있어 미적경험은 색채 속성들의 유사성과 차이성의 상호결합에 의한 효과로 정의되었다. 셋째, 색채조화이론은 더욱 통합적인 학제 간 연구를 통해 발전 될 수 있으며 이러한 경험적 자료는 환경색채디자인과 평가를 위한 기초적 정보가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
