Sensor network for the human approach in a difficult area and a wide range of surveillance and the boundaries for the purpose and mission is the utilization significantly. In this paper we searched important nodes from the surveillance reconnaissance sensor network based on the virtual data. we generated data within the sensor's measurement range in the data transmitted from sensor nodes, and used PCA(Principle Component Analysis) for searching key node. If the important sensor node searched, and we can have easy management and establishing security measures when security problems is happened about nodes. This is for the sensor network in terms of effectiveness and cost-effectively and is directly connected with life span.
It is difficult to classify tidal flat surface that is composed of a mixture of mud, sand, water and microphytobenthos. We used a Linear Spectral Unmixing (LSU) method for effectively classifying the tidal flat surface characteristics within a pixel. This study aims at 1) detecting algal mat using LSU in the Saemangeum tidal flats, 2) determining a suitable end-member selection method in tidal flats, and 3) find out a habitual characteristics of algal mat. Two types of end-member were built; one is a reference end-member derived from field spectrometer measurements and the other image end-member. A field spectrometer was used to measure spectral reflectance, and a spectral library was accomplished by shape difference of spectra, r.m.s. difference of spectra, continuum removal and Mann-Whitney U-test. Reference end-members were extracted from the spectral library. Image end-members were obtained by applying Principle Component Analysis (PCA) to an image. The LSU method was effective to detect microphytobenthos, and successfully classified the intertidal zone into algal mat, sediment, and water body components. The reference end-member was slightly more effective than the image end-member for the classification. Fine grained upper tidal flat is generally considered as a rich habitat for algal mat. We also identified unusual microphytobenthos that inhabited coarse grained lower tidal flats.
This research comparatively studies three kinds of flux regulation methods, namely, stored capacitor discharge pulse (SCDP), constant current source pulse (CCSP), and quantitative flux regulation pulse (QFRP), which are used for hybrid permanent magnet (PM) axial field flux-switching memory machines (HPM-AFFSMMs). Through an analysis of the operation principle and the series hybrid PM flux regulation mechanism of the objective machine, the circuit topologies and flux regulation process of these flux regulation methods are addressed in detail. On the basis of a simulation, the flux regulation characteristics of the researched machine during the magnetization and demagnetization processes are comparatively evaluated. Then, machine performance, including back EMF, direct and quadrature axis inductances, and magnetization and demagnetization characteristics, is quantitatively investigated. Results show that the QFRP enables the HPM-AFFSMM to achieve a less harmonic component of back EMF by approximately 7.28% and 7.97% at the magnetization and demagnetization states, respectively, and a more complete magnetization process than the SCDP and CCSP.
The need for Dissimilar Welded Joint (DWJ) in the power plant components arises in order to increase the overall efficiency of the plant and to avoid premature failure in the component welds. The Activated-Tungsten Inert Gas (A-TIG) welding process, which is a variant of Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, is focus of this review work concerning the DWJ of nuclear grade creep-strength enhanced ferritic/martensitic (CSEF/M) steels and austenitic steels. A-TIG DWJs are compared with Multipass-Tungsten Inert Gas (M-TIG) DWJ based on their mechanical and microstructural properties. The limitations of multipass welding have put A-TIG welding in focus as A-TIG provides a weld with increased depth of penetration (DOP) and enhanced mechanical properties. Hence, this review article covers the A-TIG welding principle and working parameters along with detailed analysis of role played by the flux in welding procedure. Further, weld characteristics of martensitic and austenitic steel DWJ developed with the A-TIG welding process and the M-TIG welding process are compared in this study as there are differences in mechanical, microstructural, creep-related, and residual stress obtained in both TIG variants. The mechanics involved in the welding process is deliberated which is revealed by microstructural changes and behavior of base metals and WFZ.

K-means clustering is a representative clustering technique. However, there is a limitation in not being able to integrate the performance evaluation scale and the method of determining the minimum number of clusters. In this paper, a method for numerically determining the minimum number of clusters is introduced. The explained variance is presented as an integrated measure. We propose that the k-means clustering method should be performed in the subspace of the PCA in order to simultaneously satisfy the minimum number of clusters and the threshold of the explained variance. It aims to present an explanation in principle why principal component analysis and k-means clustering are sequentially performed in pattern recognition and machine learning.

This work is the first of its kind to integrate Mindlin's theory with analytical methods in order to produce an exact solution to a specific vibration issue as well as a bending problem involving a nanoplate that is supported by a viscoelastic foundation. The plate is exposed to the simultaneous effects of a compressive load in the plate plane and a force operating perpendicular to the plane of the nanoplate. In addition, the flexoelecity effect is included into the plate. The strain gradient component is taken into consideration while calculating the plate equilibrium equation using the nonlocal theory and Hamilton's principle. The free vibration and static responses of the nanoplate seem to be both real and imaginary components because of the appearance of the viscoelastic drag coefficient of the viscoelastic foundation. This study also shows that when analyzing the mechanical response for nanostructure, taking into account the flexoelectricity effect and the influence of the nonlocal parameter, the results will be completely different from the case in which this parameter is ignored. This indicates that it is vital to take into consideration the effects of nonlocal parameters on the nanosheet structure while also taking into consideration the effect of flexoelectricity.
Horticultural traits and genetic relationship were evaluated for 83 melon (Cucumis melo L.) cultivars. Survey of a total of 36 characteristics for seedling, leaf, stem, flower, fruit, and seed and subsequent multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA) were conducted. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed that 8 principle components including fruit weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, cotyledon length, seed diameter, and seed length accounted for 76.3% of the total variance. Cluster analysis of the 83 melon cultivars using average linkage method resulted in 5 clusters at coefficient of 0.7. Cluster I consisted of cultivars with high values for fruit-related traits, Cluster II for soluble solid content, and Cluster V for high ripening rate. Genotyping of the 83 cultivars was conducted using 15 expressed-sequence tagged-simple sequence repeat (EST-SSR) from the Cucurbit Genomics Initiative (ICuGI) database. Analysis of genetic relatedness by UPGMA resulted in 6 clusters. Mantel test indicated that correlation between morphological and genetic distance was very low (r = -0.11).
Various algorithms such as Chronochrome(CC), Principle Component Analysis(PCA), and spectral unmixing have been studied for hyperspectral change detection. Change detection by spectral unmixing offers useful information on the nature of the change compared to the other change detection methods which provide only the locations of changes in the scene. However, hyperspectral change detection by spectral unmixing is still in an early stage. This research proposed a new approach to extract endmembers, which have identical properties in temporally different images, by Iterative Error Analysis (IEA) and Spectral Angle Mapper(SAM). The change map obtained from the difference of abundance efficiently showed the changed pixels. Simulated images generated from Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI) and Hyperion were used for change detection, and the experimental results showed that the proposed method performed better than CC, PCA, and spectral unmixing using N-FINDR. The proposed method has the advantage of automatically extracting endmembers without prior information, and it could be applicable for the real images composed of many materials.

We reported that amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin film provide sample plate exhibiting a multimodality to measure biomolecules by secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) and laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS). Kim et al.1 reported that a-Si thin film were suitable to detect small molecules such as drugs and peptides by SIMS and LDI-MS. Recently, bacterial identification has been required in many fields such as food analysis, veterinary science, ecology, agriculture, and so on.2 Mass spectrometry is emerging for identifying and profiling microbiology samples from its advantageous characters of label-free and shot-time analysis. Five species of bacteria - S. aureus, G. glutamicum, B. kurstaki, B. sphaericus, and B. licheniformis - were sampled for MS analysis without lipid extraction in sample preparation steps. The samples were loaded onto the a-Si thin film with a thickness of 100 nm which did not only considered laser-beam penetration but also surface homogeneity. Mass spectra were recorded in both positive and negative ionization modes for more analytical information. High reproducibility and sensitivity of mass spectra were demonstrated in a mass range up to mass-to-charge ratio(m/z) 1200 by applying the a-Si thin film in mentioned above MS. Principle component analysis (PCA) - a popular statistical analysis widely used in data processing was employed to differentiate between five bacterial species. The PCA results verified that each bacterial species were readily distinguished and differentiated effectively from our MS approach. It shows a new opportunity to rapid bacterial profiling and identification in clinical microbiology. More details will be discussed in the presentation.
