  • Historically, the name and scopes of Agricultural Engineering have changed considerably affected by many factors including global trend of Agricultural Engineering. There were times when this education program became unpopular but then again regained in the aftermath of economic crises. The afterward national policy has given big opportunity to resources based developments. Even though agriculture has shown its capability in maintaining local community to support their lives during the time of crises, the global markets have become the real threats. The challenge of Indonesian Agricultural Engineers now is how to produce agricultural commodities in any kind of forms but cheaper than the international price. Agricultural Engineering Education has to find a proper role of contribution to solve these problems. And, the education system of Agricultural Engineering itself has to be upgraded to some extend to anticipate changes of the global trends.

전문가 시스템을 응용한 외주 업체 선정 시스템 설계 (Design of Vender Selecting System Application to Expert System)

  • The purpose of this thesis addresses a development of an expert system to support a decision making of the vender selection. The researches related to the vender selection problems have been studied and they provide 23 criteria to select proper venders. In this thesis, 8 criteria have been used to construct a knowledge base of the expert system. The system in this thesis consists of 6 steps in its procedure. Step 1 decides a specification that satisfies customer's needs and Step 2 chooses a part supplied by a vender. The type of an outside order is decided in Step 3 and some venders satisfying the customer's needs are selected in Step 4. Some of the venders chosen from step 4 which do not satisfy the fatal cirteria(that is Quality, Delivery, Price) can be deleted in Step 5. In the last step, 8 cirteria is used to select 3 venders according to their ranking. Consequently, this program provides for a man, who does not have the experiances, an efficient way to select appropriate venders in the vender selection problems.

풍력발전기 출력제한을 고려한 풍력한계용량 산정에 관한 연구 (A study on the maximum penetration limit of wind power considering output limit of WTGs)

  • The wind energy is one of the most prospective resources in renewable energy. However, the WTGS shouldn't be installed indiscriminately because the power system can be negatively influenced by a variable and uncertain nature of the wind energy. It is the reason why it has to be limited to install the WTGS thoughtlessly mentioned above that support the importance of the maximum penetration limit of wind power. It may required that power system operators suggests a new way of power system operation as percentage of the WTGS increase in the existing power system. The wind power is fixed in a limited area, so using rate of the wind power will be increased by installing additional WTGS. In this paper, we have studied on economic evaluation of the wind capacity increased by restricting the output of the WTGS as the way to increase the wind capacity.

BIM 도입 활성화를 위한 중소건축사사무소 지원 방안 (Support plan for introduction of BIM on Small and Medium Architectural firm)

  • 본 우리나라를 포함하는 세계 각국은 건설 산업의 경쟁력 및 생산성을 강화하기 위해 노력하고 있으며, 그 해답 중 일부를 BIM에서 찾고 있다. 하지만, 적극적인 BIM 도입이 요구되는 건축사사무소는 수주물량 감소, 수주 양극화, 저가설계 등 다양한 원인들로 인해 매우 열악한 실정으로 BIM 도입을 매우 부담스러워 하고 있어 BIM 도입이 매우 저조한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 중소건축사사무소의 BIM 도입을 지원하기위한 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 지원방안 마련에 앞서 중소기업 지원 관련법과 과거에 시행했거나 현재 시행중인 국내외 중소기업 지원사업을 살펴보았으며, 중소기업 지원사업에 대한 수요조사를 실시하였다. 수요조사는 설문의 형태로 242명의 건축사를 대상으로 BIM의 필요성 인지, BIM 운용 현황 및 문제점, BIM 도입지원 정책별 선호도 및 적정 지원 범위 등에 대해 조사를 진행하였다. 조사 결과 향후 건축사사무소에서 BIM을 사용하고자하는 의지는 매우 높았다. 또한, 설문에서 제시한 정부 지원 사업 중 BIM 프로그램 구입 비용 지원, BIM 교육 비용 지원, BIM 전문 인력 지원, 저금리 대출 지원 등의 정부 지원 사업의 필요성에 대해 매우 공감하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 BIM 도입 컨설팅, 도입비용지원, 교육 및 인력지원, 수주지원, 성과홍보 등 BIM 도입 준비부터 활성화에 이르는 중소건축사사무소 지원방안을 마련하였다.

FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling) 방식 3D 프린터를 이용한 불규칙한 표면 출력 (Irregular surface output using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer)

  • 3D 프린터 관련 특허가 만료되고 주요 기술이 공개되면서 3D 프린터 가격이 하락하면서 원하는 제품을 쉽게 찾을 수 있는 환경이 조성되고 있다. 특히 가장 저렴한 FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D 프린터가 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. FDM 방식은 형상을 출력할 때 특정 조건이상에서는 지지대(Support)를 붙여야만 형상의 무너짐 없이 제작이 가능하다. 지지대를 달지 않고 형상을 출력할 때 특정 각도에서 발생하는 불규칙한 표면은 제품에 있어서는 불량이지만 예술과 공예적 측면에서는 또 다른 재미를 느낄 수 있는 요소로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 불규칙한 표면을 얻기 위해 출력에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인들을 제어하고 출력 각도만 변위요소로 실험하였다. 실험 결과 수직에서 62°~70°의 각도로 프린팅 시 필라멘트가 흘러내리지 않고 불규칙한 표면을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 인위적으로 불규칙한 표면을 공예적인 제품에 적용해 보았다.

  • 국내 국제물류주선업체가 직면한 수익성 악화, 고용 불안 및 포화 상태에 있는 국내 물류시장에 대하여 알아보고 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 블루오션 전략으로 유엔 조달시장 현황, 참가 방법, 성공적인 진출 방안, 글로벌 진출 활성화 지원책들을 연구한다. 현재 유엔 조달물류시장에 대한 국내의 연구 자료가 없지만, 저자가 조달 물류서비스 입찰에 참여한 경험으로 유엔 조달 물류시장 진출 방안은 유엔 벤더로 등록한 물류기업에 대한 정부의 해외진출사업 지원 확대, KOTRA "P300 프로젝트"에 선정된 물류 선도 기업들에 제공되는 유엔 조달 지역 입찰 정보를 활용한 경쟁력 제고, 유엔 조달 물류 특성상 오지 지역 운송에 대한 글로벌 네트워크 구축, 정부의 기존 해외인턴제도와 연계한 전문 인력양성 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

우리나라 농업의 변천과 비료의 역할 (Role of Chemical Fertilizer and Change of Agriculture in Korea)

  • The self-supply rate of Korea in 2006 was approximately 27.3 % by importing 13.99Mt for 19.79Mt of demanded amount. Among the imported crops, wheat, corn, and soybean consumed 95 % for the total imported amount, and wheat, corn, and soybean were 3.5Mt(Table use : 0.22Mt; Feed stuff : 0.13Mt), 8.7Mt(Table use : 0.19Mt; Feed stuff : 0.68Mt), and 1.2Mt (Table use : 0.03Mt; Feed stuff : 0.09Mt), respectively. On the other hand, our government has prepared the strategies for a great fear of food according to sharp price rise of the international crops by maintaining the self-supply rate of 5 % excluding 5.23Mt of rice in Korea. Also concern for recycled energy known as future energy for era of high oil price and global warming due to green house gas is rapidly growing. Therefore, our country which has relied on import of the whole oil needed in Korea and has to keep Kyoto Agent to request reduction of green house gas fully support research and practical use for agricultural products as resource of alternate energy. At first, we have to develop the mass production technology in order to secure a program of self-supply of food for bioenergy production utilizing agricultural product in Korea. But we assume that this matter is difficult to achieve under the current agriculture system that more emphasizes the environment conservation such as environmentally-friendly agriculture than production of food.

21세기 블루오션, 한의학의료관광활성화를 위한 탐색적 연구 (A Study on the Strategies for Stimulating Medical Tourism in Oriental Medicine Blue Ocean of the 21st Century)

Objective : This study aims to evaluate the medical tourism structures in countries with prosperous medical tourism industry such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India in order ro propose optimal strategies that can promote the medical tourism in Korea. 2. Methods : All pertinent literature concerning medical tourism directly and indirectly were assessed, and reviews of medical tourism strategies found in various countries were evaluated. 3. Results : Evaluation of related literature reveals that medical tourism is a recent burgeoning industry that has grown In market size considerably in the last five to ten years. Also, it shows that oriental medicine is a highly likely candidate amidst the various medical fields for attraction foreign patients. 4. Conclusion : The Korean government should support and install appropriate legal and administrative bodies in order to attract medical tourists; Korea-specific medical tourism programs (ie. traditional Korean medicine package tours) should be developed in order to attract medical tourists from the western world and the middle-east. In addition, low-price policy of medical tourism is not a proper strategies for the competition against advanced medical tourism destinations such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India. Differentiated medical tourism package such as oriental medical tourism program rather than provision of low-price policy seems to be more effective strategy for the medical tourism in Korea. Future studies on strategies for promoting medical tourism should focus on how foreigners recognize traditional Korean medicine, what diagnostic approach might be appealing to them and how the legal system concerning the medical procedures may be altered and modified.

디지털 TV 플랫폼의 UX 디자인 (UX Design for Digital TV Platform)

  • TV businesses that have brought a competitive structure in terms of price, definition, product design for a long time now are bringing User eXperience (UX) into relief as DTVs come to support broadcast information-related services such as various broadcast channels and Electronic Program Guide(EPG), etc., and playing of multimedia contents like music/videos, etc. This study worked on an evaluation by developing a UI to control easily the various and complex broadcast contents or multimedia contents provided by DTVs. The UI Design for new DTVs was developed based on Function, Flow and Form in the concept of Single ABC (Access, Browser and Control), and the usability test of the developed UI concept along with the UIs of the major DTV products, was done for Channel Managers and the multimedia browsers for 32 users of DTVs in the U.K./U.S., respectively. As a result of the usability test, the new concept of Channel Manager was evaluated high both in the U.K./U.S, while the multimedia browser was evaluated low in the U.S., relatively.

우유 공동 광고 캠페인의 개선 방향 및 제언 (Plan and Suggestion for the Cooperatives Milk Campaign Improvement)

  • Since IMF relief financing, domestic economy has been rapidly cooled down. At this point that we predict an overall decrease of production and sale of industries, cooperative marketing activities of the whole dairy industry are required to promote milk consumption. As everyone knows, advertisement is only one of the various factors that affect sales. Other factors include price, distribution, package, promotion, and consumer's needs and taste. The objectives of the cooperative advertising campaign should be trial purchase of new consumers, maintenance of brand loyalty of existing consumers, more positive experience of using the product, and increase of frequency of purchase. Long term analysis is essential to making these kinds of behaviour changes. Also the objectives of the communication program should be a shift of awareness of milk from 'a basic health food for children' to a substitute to the beverage even for adults. To share database of consumers among companies, we need to find ways to use interactive on-line services, the internet, D.M. events and so on as well as the mass media. It should be a precondition that the main body of the cooperative advertisement includes the milk processing board, dairy companies, livestock cooperations, farmers and the Government. To assure continuous, activities to promote milk consumption, the Government should take the lead in legislating 'An enforcement ordinance for milk promotion and research', and seek complementary measures and support to establish the ordinance.
