This paper presents the effects of preventive maintenance schemes on the residual stress distributions in dissimilar metal welds. Dissimilar metal weld is known susceptible to PWSCC and thus, effective maintenance schemes to prevent PWSCC are needed. Three preventive maintenances schemes, i.e. weld overlay, MSIP and inlay weld which are widely used in nuclear power plants, are selected and their effects on welding residual stresses are investigated via finite element analyses. As results, weld overlay and MSIP were proved effective method to mitigate residual stresses and inlay weld, on the other hand, produces strong tensile residual stresses in the inner surface. Although Alloy 690 known to be resistant to PWSCC are used in inlay weld, continuous careful observation are needed since tensile welding residual stresses are key parameter for PWSCC.

The purpose of this research aimed at performing the easy design. and also the easy on-the-job application or the maintenance interval determination methodology by presenting the determining model or the optimizing maintenance interval in TBM for the preventive maintenance or facility TBM(time-based maintenance) as the preventive maintenance requires the adequate determination or the maintenance interval. The maintenance interval or TBM shall be applied differently for the each interval such as He patrol inspection, maintenance, overhaul inspection. exchange. And it is based on the composition level of equipment. The already informed theories or interval determination methodology for the patrol inspection. repair. and overhaul inspection are difficult for adopting because or the several restriction problems in applying the maintenance schemes as the theory So, the model for determining the optimizing exchange interval or part, maintenance interval of auxiliary machine, unit equipment etc. was presented to apply in the maintenance easily and appropriately.

The objectives of this research are to establish the operation scheduling and the preventive maintenance system in order to optimize the operation of mailing center. For the optimal operation scheduling of mailing process, the existing workflow of mailing process and that of required time are investigated prior to simulation modeling. The simulation experiments are conducted to increase the nextday delivery rate. The best alternative whose nextday delivery rate up to 100% is selected based the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. The optimal work scheduling of all mailing centers are also presented. In addition, the CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System) for preventive maintenance is introduced for efficient operation of highly automated facilities of mailing center.
