Smart home and artificial intelligence technologies are developing rapidly, and various smart home systems associated with artificial intelligence (AI) improved the quality of living for people. In the present research, we examine the role of individuals' motivational system in their responses to the application of AI in smart homes. In particular, this research focuses on individuals' prevention motivational system and investigates whether individuals' attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes differ according to their level of prevention motivation. Specifically, it is hypothesized that individuals with strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation will have more favorable attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes. Consistent with the hypothesis, the results reveal that the respondents in the strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation reported significantly more favorable attitudes toward the six types of AI-based application in smart homes (e.g., AIbased AR/VR games, AI pet care system, AI robots, etc.). Our findings suggest that individuals' prevention motivational system may be an effective market segmentation tool in facilitating their positive responses to the application of AI in smart homes.

New type of the sewer drainage has been developed to overcome present sewer drainage's shortcoming. This system has the function of drainage, sewerage, reverse flow prevention, and harmful insect and smell prevention. Numerical simulation has been carried out in order to minimize the troubles that can be happened in the process of manufacture and installation process. This sewer drainage system for harmful insect and smell prevention intercepts pollution source, and then it prohibit second pollution. Harmful insect cannot go in and out in this system. Also, this system can reduce the damage of flooded districts due to heavy rain because it is impossible to flow backward from sewer drainage.

범죄는 사전적 예방이 중요하다. 과거 범죄는 사후적으로 대처하고 이를 처벌하는데 집중하였다. 그러나 빅데이터 기술을 적용하면 범죄는 사전적으로 예방될 수 있다. 빅데이터는 범죄자 또는 잠재적 범죄자의 행동을 예측할 수 있기 때문이다. 이 글은 범죄예방을 위해 빅데이터 시스템을 어떻게 구축할지에 대해 논의한다. 구체적으로는 빅데이터의 비정형 데이터와 기본의 정형데이터를 결합하는 방식을 다루고 그 결과로서 범죄예방시스템을 설계한다. 이 연구를 통해 범죄 예방을 위해 빅데이터가 활용되는 가능성을 지문을 통해 기술하였고 이를 기초로 향후 범죄예방프로그램 및 연구에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

This study aims to contribute to urban policy for more effective disaster prevention, as abnormal natural disasters are becoming more frequent. Up to now, the urban plan for disaster prevention in Korea merely includes basic principles and necessities of measures as an early stage. Furthermore, there are difficulties to make specific programs because the legal system, technical instruments, and financial supports are not sufficient. Therefore, this study figures out problems in the current plan related to urban prevention after analyzing the legal system and practices. Resulting from case studies in developed countries, the study draws significant implications, as follows: enhancing legally binding force; improving the procedures for the programs; establising technical infrastructure. It first suggests a way for the urban policy for disaster prevention by considering our local features comprehensively. It then defines the roles of central, local governemnts and research institutions, and the procedure for urban disaster prevention planning building on the individual roles. This study concludes that an emphasis should be placed on institutional tools necessary to publish technical guideline and establish the system so that urban planners more easily access to disaster risk information.

방재자원은 재난 발생시 투입하는 인력, 물자, 장비, 시설 자원을 의미한다. 물자, 장비 자원은 평상시 내부적으로 관리되는 자원으로 신속하고, 적합한 자원을 투입하여 재난을 최소화하여야 한다. 그렇지만 현재 방재자원 관리는 시군구의 재난관리시스템과 중앙의 재난관리시스템으로 이원화되어 있으며, 정보의 갱신이 실시간으로 되어있지 않아서 적시에 적합한 자원을 투입하기에 어려운 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 시군구에 분산된 방재차원에 대한 효과적인 관리를 통하여 가시성을 확보함으로써 적시에 적합한 자원을 투입할 수 있는 모델을 제시하고 있다. 특히 적합한 자원을 신속하게 파악할 수 있게 방재자원을 분류하고, RFID 표준에 기반한 방재자원의 ID와 메타데이터 정보를 제시하고, 이를 기반으로 실시간으로 방재 차원을 관리할 수 있는 모텔을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this research is to develop a decision-making model for the calculation of the National Disaster Management System's standard prevention workforce quota. The final purpose of such model is to support in arranging a rationally sized prevention workforce for local authorities by providing information about its calculation in order to support an effective and efficient disaster management administration. In other words, it is to establish and develop a model that calculates the standard disaster prevention workforce quota for basic local governments in order to arrange realistically required prevention workforce. In calculating Korea's prevention workforce, it was found that the prevention investment expenses, number of prevention facilities, frequency of flood damage, number of disaster victims, prevention density, and national disaster recovery costs have positive influence on the dependent variable when the standard prevention workforce was set as the dependent variable. The model based on the regression analysis-which consists of dependent and independent variables-was classified into inland mountainous region, East coast region, Southwest coastal plain region to reflect regional characteristics for the calculation of the prevention workforce. We anticipate that the decision-making model for the standard prevention workforce quota will aid in arranging an objective and essential prevention workforce for Korea's basic local authorities.

This research aims to identify important variables and their effects on diabetes prevention or progression from prediabetes to diabetic complication using system thinking. Based on the existing studies, we have constructed a causal loop diagram explaining dynamics of diabetes and have found 7 important reinforcing loops and 3 balancing loops in the causal loop diagram. The CLD displays an effect of increasing prediabetes early detection and awareness on diabetes prevention. The findings indicate that the projects in Korea for reducing incidence of diabetes and potential risk of complication have focused on variables which are related only on diabetes even though prediabetes has been a critical point on diabetes prevention and management. Thus, it also concludes that the effect of projects focusing only on diabetes have faced limitation to manage diabetes accordingly.

I study the actual condition and the problem of the crime prevention system of two seoul police station. that is operated on the unit of police box, and present the new improvement. Stragic and active is the new crime prevention system that introduces a concept of community oriented policing, the tendency of a developed country police. I present a medium - sized police station where 250${\sim}$300 policemen work. It consist of a patrol division, a community division and a administration support division. The chief of police bears the responsibility only for crime prevention service by concentrating on pure Patrol - centered crime prevention activity and community relation activity. Next I present a police inspector system. The most important on this paper is the community policing officer system that a policeman bears responsibility on district apart from a patrol division and support a police service related community. To be operated these systems effectively, these need to be regulated according to a police distinct, a police purpose and it's demand. Also a scale, function, authority of a existing. Police station must be regulated and the police training must be carried out.

Reasonable disaster prevention signs play an important role in guiding evacuation. Through the field investigation on disaster prevention signs in shelters and surrounding areas in Beijing, some problems were found in the using of sign system. Based on the principle of integrated design, evacuation and rescue requirements, it is necesssary to make further study on aspects such as, design of function, systematic consideration, humanization design, as well as the internationalization using. This paper presents an evaluation index system for disaster prevention signs. Such a system is very important for strengthening the independent guiding function of sign systems and improving evacuation efficiency. An effective connection could be realized between the internal environment of buildings, evacuation routes, and emergencey shelters.

In Korea, overall disaster prevention system or 119 emergency rescue system has been established to protect life and fortune of citizens. This system supports command & control operation, emergency 119 caller location indicator, automatic formation of fire troops and dispatch, and emergency management. To do this, various new information technologies such as GIS, telematics, CTI and TTS are applied to implement the system. In the future, however, it is not impossible to prevent a large scale disasters caused by world climate environment change and complication of city culture using the current system. In this paper, we propose enhancement plan for overall disaster prevention system to solve this problem.
