목재의 기계적 성질, 내마모성 및 난연성 개선을 위한 진공가압 멜라민 수지함침처리 (Vacuum Pressure Treatment of Water-Soluble Melamine Resin Impregnation for Improvement of Mechanical Property, Abrasion Resistance and Incombustibility on Softwood)

  • 진공가압 수지함침 처리에 의한 목재의 휨강도, 경도 및 내마모성 향상을 위하여 침엽수 3수종에 수용성 멜라민 수지를 수지농도와 처리시간별로 진공가압 처리한 후 수지함침 열압축목재(compreg)를 제조한 다음 물성을 검토하였다. 또한 같은 수종에 수용성 난연제를 도포처리하는 방법과 진공가압 후 열압처리 방법으로 제조한 다음 난연성 향상정도를 측정하였다. 수지의 농도가 높을수록 휨강도 및 브리넬 경도는 증가하였고 내마모성은 향상되었으나, 처리시간과는 일정한 경향이 없었다. 난연성은 도포시험편 보다 진공가압처리 시험편이 총 방출열량이 감소하여 진공가압처리에 의한 난연성 개선 방법이 효과가 있었다.

붕사, 붕산 및 인산암모늄을 가압 함침한 편백 루버의 연소특성 (Combustion Characteristics of Hinoki Cypress Louver after Pressure Impregnation with Boric Acid, Borax and Ammonium Phosphate)

  • 본 논문은 편백 루버에 붕산, 붕사 및 인산암모늄 수용액을 가압함침 후 외부 복사열원(25, 30 및 $50kW/m^2$)에 따른 점화시간, 임계 열유속 및 질량감소속도 등의 연소특성을 측정하였다. 실험에 사용된 시료의 크기는 $100{\times}100{\times}10mm$이며, 각 외부 복사열원에서 5분간 변화를 3회 반복 측정하였다. 연구결과, $25kW/m^2$의 외부 복사열원에 있어서 착화시간은 Type C-H를 제외하고는 17.4~21.3%의 지연효과를 나타낸 반면 35 및 $50kW/m^2$에서는 큰 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었으며, 평균질량감소속도는 Type A-H와 Type D-H에서 Type N-H보다 낮게 측정되었다. 또한, 외부 복사열원에 따른 착화시간으로부터 임계 열유속은 $14.79{\sim}17.17kW/m^2$$10.7kW/m^2$인 Type N-H보다 38.22~60.46% 높게 예측됨에 따라 초기 화재시 화재확대에 대한 지연효과가 있을 것으로 예상된다.

메탄올 수증기개질을 위한 ZrO2 펠트 기반 Cu/Zn 촉매 특성 연구 (Characteristics of ZrO2 Felt Supported Cu/Zn Catalyst for Methanol Steam Reforming)

  • Characteristics of $ZrO_2$ felt supported Cu/Zn catalysts have been investigated for the production of hydrogen via methanol steam reforming. Cu and Zn in different weight percent were loaded using wet impregnation over $ZrO_2$ felt support. The catalysts were characterized with BET and FE-SEM. The performance of these synthesized catalysts were investigated at SCR=1.5, $GHSV=2000h^{-1}$, temperature=$300{\sim}400^{\circ}C$, and pressure=2.5~19.5 barA. The results showed that the $Cu^{32.5}Zn^{7.5}ZrO_2$ catalyst was most active in terms of methanol conversion and hydrogen production. The methanol conversion in steam reforming of methanol was 84.6% at 19.5 barA and furnace $400^{\circ}C$ over $Cu^{32.5}Zn^{7.5}ZrO_2$ catalyst. The catalysts prepared using $ZrO_2$ felt show higher reactor temperature than the pellet type catalyst at same furnace temperature.

  • This study relates to a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor using a functional polymer composition. The method comprises immersing the rolled aluminum electrolytic capacitor device in polyaniline solution with high electric conductivity to impregnate the device with polyaniline, drying the impregnated device in a drying oven which is maintained at constant temperature to fully remove the solvent, inserting the dried device to a capacitor aluminum can and then sealing with epoxy resin, to manufacture a solid electrolytic capacitor using a conducting polymer. As such, the impregnation can be performed well at not only normal temperature and pressure, but also high temperature and reduced pressure. The solid electrolytic capacitor has the advantages of high capacity, low impedance and low ESR, and also, low manufacturing cost, simple processes and high reliability.

Transverse permeability measurement of a circular braided preform in liquid composite molding

  • In liquid composite molding (LCM), composites are produced by impregnation of a dry preform with liquid resin. The resin flow through the preform is usually described by Darcy's law and the permeability tensor must be obtained for filling analysis. While the resin flow in the thickness direction can be neglected for thin parts, the resin flow in the transverse direction is important for thicker parts. However, the transverse permeability of the preform has not been investigated frequently. In this study, the transverse permeability was measured experimentally for five different fiber preforms. In order to verify the experimental results, the measured transverse permeability was compared with numerical results. Five different fiber mats were used in this study: glass fiber woven fabric, aramid fiber woven fabric, glass fiber random mat, glass fiber braided preform, and glass/aramid hybrid braided preform. The anisotropic braided preforms were manufactured by using a three dimensional braiding machine. The pressure was measured at the inlet and outlet positions with pressure transducers.

진공함침을 적용한 바인더젯 3D 프린팅 출력물의 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Binder jetting 3D Printed Specimens Using Vacuum Impregnation)

  • 본 연구는 바인더젯 3D 프린팅 출력물의 강도증진을 위하여 진공함침 후처리 공정의 적용성을 검토하였다. 또한, 출력물 크기에 따른 강도발현 한계를 확인하기 위하여 10 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm 및 40 mm 큐빅 출력물을 대상으로 침투성, 부피밀도 및 압축강도를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 진공함침 후처리 공정에서 최대압력이 증가함에 따라 후처리 용액이 출력물 내부까지 침투하게 되고 이에 따라서 침투면적률이 개선되는 것을 확인하였다. 출력물 압축강도율과 후처리 용액 침투면적률은 보정결정계수 0.992의 지수함수 형태의 상관관계를 나타내고 있다. 또한, 부피밀도가 증가하였으며 이는 후처리 용액이 내부까지 침투한 것으로 유추할 수 있다. 결론적으로 바인더젯 3D 프린팅 출력물의 강도증진을 위해서는 출력물 내부까지 후처리 용액을 침투하는 것이 필수적이며, 이를 위한 유효한 방법으로써 진공함침을 제안한다.

  • This paper studies the field applicability of the Special Chemical grouting Method(SCM) in reinforcing and reducing permeability of the back of an existing continuous wall. SCM uses double rod which imposes intermediate pressure$(981\sim9,810kPa)$ to disturb, cut, discharge, and mix the ground. It is observed that a bulb is formed by using cement paste and environmentally friendly injection materials with minimal alkali leaching. Uniaxial compression tests, test for chemical properties and fish poison test are performed. Test results indicate that the method results in higher durability, less leaching through use of the environmentally friendly injection material, and faster mobilization of the strength. In addition, field tests confirm the formation of the bulb and the seepage cutoff wall.

콜타르 핏치를 이용하여 제조된 탄소/탄소 복합재의 관성제동 마찰특성 (The Inertia Friction properties of the Carbon/Carbon Composites Manufactured Using a Coal-tar Pitch)

  • The inertia friction properties of C/C composites manufactured by the processes of pressure and at-mospheric carbonizaton with a commerciallized and two kinds of modified coal-tar pitch as a matrix pre-cursor were investigated. The modifications of a pitch such as the introduction of mesophase and the ad-dition of sulphur into a raw pitch were not effective for a impregnation efficiency conducted in a vacuum and at the same time in a pressure of 5kg/cm2 due to the increase of the pitch viscosity. There was not a difference in the densification increment between the pitch modifications however it was revealed that a pressure carbonization was more advantageous than an atmospheric in the densification and the formation of anisotropic carbon matrix. The friction and wear propertis of C/C having higher degree of matrix cry-stallization higher density and hardness of friction surface showed superiority. As the braking energy was increased the friction coefficients were decreased and reached almost same level at the high kinetic energy of 99.6kJ. The wear trends at 99.6kJ were different from the behaviors of friction ceofficient under the same energy in which an oxidation wear is being considered along with a mechnical wear although the wear rates were almost similar to the friction coefficient at the low energy.

  • 본 논문에서는 주열식말뚝 배면의 차수를 목적으로 쓰이는 SCM공법의 지반강도와 투수계수 개선 효과를 연구하였다. SCM공법은 2중관 롯드를 사용하여 중압($981{\sim}9,810kPa$)으로 지반을 절삭하고 충전 및 혼합하는 공법이다. 이는 시멘트와 알카리용탈이 최소화된 친환경적인 약액을 사용하는 것으로 실험을 통하여 입증하였다. 1축압축시험, 어독성시험 등을 통하여 화학적인 안정성을 실험하였고, 그 결과 내구성이 높고 조기강도 발현이 되며 알칼리용탈이 최소화된 친환경적인 약액재료임을 입증하였다. 그리고 현장시험을 통하여 구근과 차수벽이 형성됨을 확인하였다.
