내륙지방 전통담장의 가치평가 및 보전 방안 (Estimation Economic Value of Multi-Functionality and Preservation Program of Traditional Stone Fences in Korea)

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the economic value of Multi-functionality Roles including landscape and so on, which traditional stone fences in Korea possess, using Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation Method (DC-CVM). The stone fences is life cultural heritance of regional residents. It has functions like Development of Favorable Landscapes, Maintenance of Cultural Heritage, and Recreation/Relaxation. Expectation from regional visitors shows that the existence and inheritance value of the stone wall is higher then we expected. According to the research that we had done from the people that had agreed to contribute the stone wall. moreover the public commercial value of regional tradition stone was not only 2,900 billion won but also it will increase an economic gain in every year. Therefore, preserving the stone wall that has Multi-functional Roles and values can lead to huge economic value in the future. But farmhouses in the stone wall conservation area are being supported 9 billion won in every year. This is only 0.03% of the income that farmhouse earns per year. Thus, stone wall preservation policy and plan can raise green-tour commercial value of inland area as a long-term inside measurement. Those will have to be propelled continuously.

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the economic value of Multi-functionality Roles including landscape and so on, which the stone fences in Jejudo possess, using Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation Method(DC-CVM). The stone wall is life cultural heritance of Cheju islanders. It has functions like Development of Favorable Landscapes, Maintenance of Cultural Heritage, and Recreation/Relaxation. Expectation from Cheju visitors shows that the existence and inheritance value of the stone wall is higher then we expected. According to the research that we had done from the people that had agreed to contribute the stone wall, the result was that the public commercial value of Cheju tradition stone will increase every yew(2006: 367 billion won, 2011: 437.1 billion won). Therefore, preserving the stone wall that has Multi-functional Roles and values can lead to huge economic value in the future. But farmhouses in the stone wall conservation area are being supported 6 million won every year. This is only 10% of the income that farmhouse ems per year. Thus, stone wall preservation policy and plan that can raise green-tour commercial value of Cheju Island of long-term inside measurement will have to be propelled continuously.

북한산 국립공원의 가치보전에 관한 탐색적 고찰 (An Exploratory study on the Value Preservation of Bukhansan National Park)

  • 본 논문은 북한산국립공원의 관광자원에 대한 소중한 가치보전에 관한 고찰을 통해 문제점과 개선방안에 대한 연구를 진행했다. 가치보전에 관한 고찰(考察)에서 국립공원 관리 실태에 대한 선진외국의 경험을 사례로 탐색했으며 이러한 탐색의 결과를 북한산국립공원에 접목하여 보다 발전된 형태의 보전관리를 통해 북한산국립공원이 가지고 있는 가치를 지속해 나가는데 초점을 맞추었다. 또한 현재 북한산국립공원의 현황을 탐색하여 문제점에 대한 개선방안을 제시했으며 이에 대한 실증조사에서 전문가와 일대일 면접을 통해 전문가의견을 도출해 냈다. 본 논문이 자연이 준 우리의 위대한 유산인 북한산 국립공원의 가치를 보전하는데 기여가 되기를 기대한다.

Plastic Coating에 의(依)한 사과의 저장연구(貯藏硏究) (Studies on the Preservation of Apples by Plastic Film Coating)

  • A new method of plastic film coating has been investigated to extend storage life of apples. The film coating was effected by dipping fresh apples in a plastic emulsion. The effect of plastic film coating on the preservation of freshness, respiratory activities and chemical components during storage, has been investigated on four leading varieties of apples. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The effect of film coating on storage life of apples was apparent, resulting in delay of after-ripening, shriveling, softening or physiological impediment as well as reducing consumption of reserve materials and waste fruits. 2. Change in the partial pressure of gas, i.e., increase in carbon dioxide and decrease in oxygen in apple tissue was resulted by the plastic film coating, suggesting that the film deposited on the fruit interfered with the diffusion of gases formed therein. 3. The effects of plastic film coating on the fruit storage varied with the type of plastic emulsions, coating temperature, varieties of apples and degree of fruit ripening. As regard to apple varieties, good results were obtained with PVA 217 for both American Summer Pearmain and Jonathan, and PVC 443 for McIntosh. 4. Reduction in the diminution rates of L-malic acid, ascorbic acid and soluble pectin etc. during storage of apples may account for the improved storage life of the fruits treated with plastic films.

초임계 이산화탄소와 에탄올 보조용매를 이용한 포도씨로부터의 페놀성 화합물의 추출 (Extraction of Phenolic Compounds from grape Seed Using Supercritical $CO_2$ and Ethanol as a Co-solvent)

  • A supercritical fluid extraction was performed for the extraction of phenolics from grape seeds which up to now have been discarded. The optimum condition for extraction process was predicted through response surface methodology using central composit experimental design. The extraction amount of grape seed phenolics was increased by increasing extraction temperature, pressure, and concentration of co-solvent (ethanol). The optimum extraction conditions were 84.83$^{\circ}$C, 51.50MPa and 1.27% ethanol. The yield of phenolics using SFE was higher with 3 folds than ethanol and 4 folds than hexane but less than 80% methanol. In the respects of food poisoning, the approved solvents were restricted to ethanol and hexane. So, SFE for extraction of phenolics could be powerful alternative method for solvent extraction.

쌀겨발효로부터 분리된 우점종 미생물 Bacillus coagulans의 분리 (Isolation of Major Microflora Bacillus coagulans from Rice Bran)

  • 쌀겨의 발효는 온도상승이 되면서 열을 많이 발생하여 온도가 60-70도로 상승한다. 이 발효에서 분리된 Bacillus coagulans는 효소온욕시 사용되는 주요 미생물로서, 이를 응용하여 피부미용건강에 사용되어질 수 있다. 쌀겨발효 중 온도유지에 관련이 있는 major microflora의 분리 연구를 수행한 결과, 고초균이라 판단되는 균주 10여종을 분리하였으며 이를 분자분류학적인 연구를 수행한 결과 Bacillus coagulans로동정하였다. 본 균주는 쌀겨발효에서 온도상승에 관여하는 주요 미생물로서 이의 피부미용에의 응용이 가능하리라 판단된다.

  • 등대와 등표는 연안항로표지시설중 대표적인 건조물이다. 인천지역은 근대 초기에 등대 등표가 가장 활발하게 건설된 지역이다. 본 연구는 인천지방해양항만청이 관리하는 등대와 등표를 대상으로 한다. 이들을 현장조사하여 얻은 자료들을 근거로 현황을 정리하고 문화적 역사적 가치가 있는 대상들에 대한 장기적 보존을 위한 보존관리방안을 본 연구를 통해 제시하고자 한다.

Vulnerability and seismic improvement of architectural heritage: the case of Palazzo Murena

  • The aim of the present contribution is to consider and underline the essential interactions among the historical knowledge, the seismic vulnerability assessment, the investigation experimental tools, the preservation of the architectural quality and the strengthening design in regard to architectural heritage conservation. These topics are argued in relation to Palazzo Murena in Perugia, designed in the eighteenth century by the famous Architect Luigi Vanvitelli, and currently headquarters of the city's University. Based on the surveys and the visual inspections, a preliminary a priori global analysis has been performed by means of the FME method. The obtained results permitted to plan an experimental tests campaign inclusive of structural health monitoring. The new achieved "knowledge" of the building allowed to refine the seismic safety assessment. In particular it was highlighted that the "mezzanine floor" can be a vulnerable element of the building with the collapse of its masonry walls. Preserving the architectural characteristics, a local reinforcement intervention is proposed for the above-mentioned level; this consists of the application of plaster with FRCM, assuring an adequate strength, without burden the masonry structure with additional weight, and therefore a decreasing of the seismic vulnerability. The necessity to consider, in this ongoing research, other local mechanisms is highlighted in the unfolding of the last part of work.

DIFFUSION PIECEWISE HOMOGENIZATION VIA FLUX DISCONTINUITY RATIOS

  • We analyze piecewise homogenization with flux-weighted cross sections and preservation of averaged currents at the boundary of the homogenized domain. Introduction of a set of flux discontinuity ratios (FDR) that preserve reference interface currents leads to preservation of averaged region reaction rates and fluxes. We consider the class of numerical discretizations with one degree of freedom per volume and per surface and prove that when the homogenization and computing meshes are equal there is a unique solution for the FDRs which exactly preserve interface currents. For diffusion submeshing we introduce a Jacobian-Free Newton-Krylov method and for all cases considered obtain an 'exact' numerical solution (eight digits for the interface currents). The homogenization is completed by extending the familiar full assembly homogenization via flux discontinuity factors to the sides of regions laying on the boundary of the piecewise homogenized domain. Finally, for the familiar nodal discretization we numerically find that the FDRs obtained with no submesh (nearly at no cost) can be effectively used for whole-core diffusion calculations with submesh. This is not the case, however, for cell-centered finite differences.

천연 항균제의 침지와 항균 포장필름이 풋고추의 저장성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Natural Antimicrobial Agent Dipping and Antimicrobial Packaging Films on the Keeping Quality of Green Chilli Peppers)

  • 풋고추를 수확하여 선도를 유지할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 천연항균소재를 이용한 항균용제와 항균포장필름에 대한 각각의 효과와 두 가지를 병행한 상승효과를 확인하기 위하여 풋고추를 항균용제에 침지 처리후 1$0^{\circ}C$에 저장하면서 품질변화를 측정하였다. 그 결과 항균용제와 항균포장필름에 대한 각각의 효과뿐만 아니라 두 가지를 병행하여 저장하는 경우 상승효과가 더욱 두드러지게 나타나는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 풋고추의 선도를 유지하는 데에 천연항균소재가 효과적으로 사용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났고, 이러한 용제가 실용가능성을 가질 수 있도록 다각도로 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.
