From the viewpoint of the importance of the division theory based on topography(pyungsu) derived from the uniqueness in topography, not to mention of the function of ridge in ruban areas, the destroy of ridges should be prevented from the development of hill areas. This study intends to propose the basic concepts and principles to protect the ridge axis with green in open space and landscape planning. The main results are summarized as follows : First, eco-bridge across the ridges will be connected for the purpose of ecosystem restoration. Second, the protection and restoration of green ridge axis can be completed by Green Structure Plan which has principles and standards such as. - layout of development axis and establishment of rules on preservation - the practical use of various preservation methods and the standards suitable to the methods - laying down the standards of restoration according to the height from ground level - the application of zoning such as height district and urban design for preservation Finally, the design of implementation tools must be needed for protection and restoration.

Since the preservation of monuments is very important to human societies, different methods are required to preserve historic structures. In this paper, 3D model of arch stone bridge at Pont Saint Martin, Aosta, Italy, was simulated by 1660 integrated separate stones using ABAQUS$^{(R)}$ software to investigate the seismic susceptibility of the bridge. The main objective of this research was to study a method of preservation of the historical stone bridge against possible earthquakes using FRP techniques. The nonlinear behavior model of materials used theory of plasticity based on Drucker-Prager yield criterion. Then, contact behavior between the block and mortar was modeled. Also, Seismosignal software was used to collect data related to 1976 Friuli Earthquake Italy, which constitutes a real seismic loading. The results show that, retrofitting of the arch stone bridge using FRP techniques decreased displacement of stones of spandrel walls, which prevents the collapse of stones.

본 연구는 이산선택 조건부가치측정법에 내재되어 있는 응답자의 선호의 불확실성 문제를 퍼지이론을 통해 해결하려 한 것으로, 멸종위기에 처해 있는 한국산 토종반달곰의 보존에 대한 지불의사액을 추정하는 분석과정에 퍼지소속도 함수를 적용하였다. 퍼지소속도 이론은 애매모호한 상황의 불명확성을 추정하는 방법론으로, 이를 조건부가치측정법에 적용하면 해당 환경재에 대한 지불의사액과 응답자들의 진술에 대한 확신도를 동시에 도출해낼 수 있다. 본 연구를 위해 우리나라 7대 광역시에 거주하는 성인남녀 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였으며 양분선택형 조건부가치측정법이 사용되었다. 한국산 토종반달곰 보존에 대한 지불의사액은 가구당 월 9,090원으로 계산되었으며 퍼지소속도함수로 계산된 응답의 확신도는 78%인 것으로 추정되었다.

^x As mentioned above, I consider the change of role that is related with Japanese thought of Natural Environmental Conservation, and I divide each part of periods into forest, farmland, open space, urban planning, environmental conservation etc. To summary the content of each period of Natural Environmental Conservation thought is as follows. 1) Previous period before formation(before 1919) In the previous period of Meiji, it could be said that the consciousness of the Natural Environmental Conservation was coming to existence. In this, so called, Natural Environmental Conservation, the thought of Forest Preservation was the main current and it was the thought of territorial integrity for the security of resource, the forestry conservancy and flood control in the forestry farmland. Since the age of Meiji, the theory of Natural Conservation appears from the theory of Japanese landscaping and systematic management about public parks was enforced, but the regular theory of Natural Environmental Conservation did not attain full growth. 2) The period of formation(1919~ 1954) In the period of formation, the base of Natural Environmental Conservation had been established. Parks and Open spaces were admitted as a public facilities in each city, and legislations which supported it had been continuously enacted and so on. In this period, the afforestation counter plan was emphasized on the side of territorial integrity. In the mountainous district. tree planting was emphasized to recover the forest which had been destroied by war. 3) The period of development(1955~ 1974) In the period of development, varied policies was institutionalized for the Natural Environmental Conservation. However, all sorts of development policy had performed simultaneously, thus development had complicated relation with preservation. But after 1970's the framework of system of Natural Environmental Conservation improvement was constituted to control the many kinds of development, and the spontaneous campaign of nature preservation by private lead was being taken root. This is the more progressive period. 4) The pried of root(after 1975) After the latter of 1970's, the role of Natural Environmental Conservation began to take root not in the direction of control but inducement, and, getting out of development - oriented policy, aimed at relation between human being and natural environment and the side of amenity of human environment. Besides, the current of Natural Environmental Conservation had been seperately progressed in the cities and forests. Since this period, it was the character that cities and forests began to be unified as 'amenity'space of man.

The purpose of this paper is to study new notions of stochastic comparisons and ageing classes based on the total time on test transform order. We give relationships to other stochastic orders and aging classes given previously. Several preservation properties under the reliability operations of random minima and series system are given.

State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People's Republic of China lead Research on Chao medicine's Constitutional Treatment project by which could involve the following principles. First, constitution can be identified, second, constitution correlates to ones susceptibility to diseases, third, constitution can be harmonized, fourth, prescription made according to ones constitution and patterns. These ideas is originated by Lee Je-ma's theory of Four Constitution Type in "DongEuiSooSeBoWon"(Longetivity and Life Preservation in Eastern Medicine). This is much similar to currents trends of personalized medicine in western medical sciences. Therefore further developing Lee's theory would have significant value on various fields of medicine.

Wang Bing reorganized "The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon Essential Questions" by adding 7 more volumes to the original 9 volumes and made it 24 volumes. And also rearranged the order in "preservation of health", "yinyang and five phases", "visceral manifestation", "treatment", "pulsation", "the channels", "diseases", "acupuncture ", "movement of the qi", "medical virtue", "wanton theory" etc. Though this, Wang Bing hoped the "The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon Essential Questions" to be reborn into a systematic and methodical medical book. Taoism, which is one of the characteristics of Wang Bing's medical conception, is revealed in both the contents of the book and the rearrangement of the book's order. Another feature is that he explains most of the diseases by the channel theory. His insists the script be interpretated in a new way that fits the situation and not to be bound to the words it self. And this also shows one of his conception of medicine.

Vector fields in three-space admit bundles of internal variables such as a Heisenberg algebra bundle. Information transmission along field lines of vector fields is described by a wave linked to the Schrodinger representation in the realm of time-frequency analysis. The preservation of local information causes geometric optics and a quantization scheme. A natural circle bundle models quantum information visualized by holographic methods. Features of this setting are applied to magnetic resonance imaging.

This paper focuses on the analysis of the Chinese transliterations of English place names in the Optimality Theory (OT) [1]. Three groups of monosyllabic, disyllabic and multisyllabic English place names are analyzed to represent the hierarchical ranking of both Markedness and Faithfulness constraints in terms of sound epenthesis, which is one of the most important repair strategies named the Preservation Principle [2] devised to "preserve" every source segment (or sound) of the target place names. By doing so, this paper tries to answer the question of why sound epenthesis takes place in transliterating words between languages. With the help of the established ranking of the relevant constraints, this paper explains the process of sound epenthesis formally.

This paper deals with the reduction of unstressed prevocalic /u/ and the appearance of /w/ which are observed in such words as ambiguity [ˌæm bǝ ˈgju: ǝ ti] - ambiguous [æm ˈbɪ gjǝ wǝs]. This phenomenon is recorded in Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged, and the draft revisions of Oxford English Dictionary Online. Since this phenomenon has not been studied in detail up to now, this paper aims 1) to collect the data related to the reduction of unstressed prevocalic /u/, 2) to classify them systematically, and 3) to explain the phenomenon in terms of Optimality Theory. In the course of analysis, Prevocalic Lengthening, which is crucial to the preservation of unstressed prevocalic /u/, is reinterpreted as one of the ways to prevent hiatus (annual /æ nju: ǝl/). /w/-insertion is another way to prevent hiatus (annual /æ njǝ wǝl/). In addition it is argued that prevocalic /u/ behaves differently from prevocalic /i/ due to the difference in the articulators involved.
