The purpose of this study is ultimately subjected to the Orientalism, even though this deals with some positive effects in the realm of art and architecture as the scope of study, because through which the relationship between two different cultures will be discussed. That is to say, this research focused not only on how the presentation of 'avant-garde' visual art, which is explained as formal 'purity' and 'abstraction' as the characteristics of modern arts, could be made in the transition to the 20th's World, but also on what is the role and meaning of Eastern thoughts, which is popular in that time, for the new philosophical background of the artistic revolution. As a result, this study found that a lot of 'avant-garde' architects such as F. L. Wright, M. Mahony in Prairie School and L. Sullivan, D. Burnham, J. Root in Chicago School, and Lauweriks, H. P. Berlage who introduced Wright's works into the Europe, had possessed the 'Universal Philosophy' including Unitarianism, Transcendentalism, Deism, and Theosophy which are all influenced by Oriental religions and thoughts through historic western philosophers, although it is generally well-known that W. Kandinsky and P. Mondrian were belong to that. Furthermore, they gave attention to the Oriental religions and thoughts in that time, eventually made a historical progressive process of unification of thoughts between East and West. In a word, the new universalism was the philosophical background that made the artist's idea and presentation on 'from Being into Becoming'.

This study is to find the accurate interpretations for the UCP600 by integrating, ISBP745, Official Opinions of ICC Banking Commission and some Case Laws suggesting the reasonable implication for the upcoming UCP. Major results analyzed by this study are as follows. First, The preclusion rule, UCP600 Article 16(c), is closely connected with the doctrine of documentary cure, so the banks requirement of Single Notice must state all the discrepancies of the documents presented. Exceptionally if the cured documents by the presenter are happened to be inconsistent the initial notice the bank can require the presenter to re-tender within the expiry date or the last day for presentation. Secondly, The Issuing Bank can utilize the right of seeking a waiver of documentary discrepancies from the applicant with the time limit of 5 banking days. If the bank wants to require an applicant to report discrepancies promptly, he may include a provision in the reimbursement engagement limiting the time limit within which the applicant must give notice of facial discrepancies. Thirdly, if a credit contains a non-documentary condition, banks will deem such condition as not states and will disregard it. According to the principle of private autonony if a credit contains a non-documentary condition to be consistent with by the parties concerned in a credit the non-documentary condition can be treated, as an effective condition itself. Fourthly, according to the Korean Supreme Court's decision, negotiation includes the method of crediting the credit amount and then transfers such funds into a special account and controls the account. Finally, UCP600 Article 33 states a bank has no obligation to accept a presentation outside of its banking hours. However, there is no rule in UCP600 in regard to a presentation after the close of business. Hopefully the upcoming UCP has to stipulates a sort of definite article to determine such ambiguous.

최근 인터넷 및 멀티미디어 기술이 급속하게 발전함에 따라 네트워크상에서 많은 멀티미디어 정보를 신속하고 광범위하게 교환할 수 있다. 또한, 다양한 멀티미디어 객체의 시간과 공간을 위한 동기화 문제가 존재한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 W3C에서 다양한 멀티미디어 객체 표현을 구성할 수 있는 XML에 기반을 둔 SMIL이 표준으로 제안되었다. 이는 멀티미디어 데이터를 통합하여 표현하기 위한 동기화 언어이고 일련의 개별적 멀티미디어 객체를 시간과 공간적으로 동기화된 멀티미디어 표현으로 통합할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 멀티미디어 객체를 사용하여 일반사용자들이 손쉽게 멀티미디어 객체를 동기화하고 통합하여 표현할 수 있도록 SMIL 저작 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

Global Science Literacy is proposed as an international curriculum standard for science literacy. It is based on the science curriculum construct of Earth Systems Education, which has come out of the earth science education community in the United States. The presentation will briefly describe the nature of ESE, and include, if sufficient time, an audience participation simulation of mass extinction.

The purpose of this dissertation is to make the general korean speakers to learn the standard pronunciations. But it is in existence that the obstructions of the command of the standard pronunciations. They are the mistake in the education course on the korean pronunciations, the teacher's capability and the mass communications's duplicity. To overcome this obstructions, we must concentrate our efforts on the propagation of the standard pronunciations. To propagate of the standard pronunciations we can take a several method. These are the presentation of the pronunciation mistakes, audio-visual teaching, the presentation of the pronunciation principles and the use of the korean dictionary. The standard pronunciations are different from the pronunciations of the general korean speakers in many respects. So we can't make an accurate estimate of the pronunciation's changes. No one knows what will happen in the future about the korean pronunciations. But we must teach the standard pronunciations to the general korean speakers. The standard pronunciations are offically valid in the present time.

In the area of the multimedia computer, the demand for the image processing engineer is large. However, there are not many engineers capable of developing practical systems. To teach practical image processing techniques, we need an intergrated education systems which can efficiently present the image processing theory and, at the same time, provide interactive experiments for the theory presented. In this paper, we propose an integrated education systems for the image processing. It consists of the theory presentation systems and the experiment systems. The theory presentation systems uspports multimedia display functions and HTML. It is tightly integrated with the experiment systems which developed based on the integrated image processing algorithm development system called Hello-vision.

The Purpose of this writing is a presentation of small turbine efficiency measuring method, applicable new technology, and several analysis result for real turbine. Measurement methods of hydraulic efficiency written in here are extracted from small turbine applicable international code(IEC, ASME). It includes brief synopsis of 'Current meter method' and 4 other methods and ASFM as a new small turbine applicable technology. And several analysis of test result are for recently performed domestic small turbine result in korea. Through this presentation of extracted code, I hope that it make other small turbine concerner be familiar to perform an efficiency test. for small turbine. And, some analysis of that, make other to feel the importance of efficiency test.

A considerable number of empirical studies have been conducted into the impact of graphical presentation of information on decision making performance. Very limited attention has been, however, devoted to the role of graphs as a means of delivering feedback. This paper investigated this issue by varying the presentation formats of outcome feedback in time series forecasting contexts. It was found that overall feedback was not decision-effective. Even enlarged and more salient feedback was of little value to overcome the conservative behavior. The results doubted the efficacy of graphical feedback in the design of EIS/DSS. Feedback did not appear to be a simple mechanism and further research is required to investigate its cognitive processes.

This study proposed a soft skill integration activity for online EFL classrooms and investigated student responses. Toward this end, this study recruited 54 college students taking an English Presentation and Discussion class in South Korea. Participants were assigned into high and low-proficiency groups based on the Test of English for International Communication. This study employed questionnaire, class video recordings, and interview to obtain responses. Moreover, problem-based learning with challenge questions was applied to develop soft skills in online synchronous classes. Responses were examined in terms of whether a difference existed according to English proficiency. Major findings of this study were as follows. Regardless of proficiency levels, participants reported improvements in their IT and problem-solving skills and exhibited positive attitudes toward live online presentations via Zoom. However, this study observed significant differences in communication and teamwork skills, perceived learning, and confidence. Interviews with students with low English proficiency levels revealed that they were negatively affected by the lack of non-verbal cues, mechanical skills, and socialization time provided by online classes. Based on these results, pedagogical implications and directions for future studies are discussed.

We intended to show some basic requirements for spectrum analysis of electroencephalogram (EEG) by visualizing the differences of the results according to different values of some parameters for analysis. Spectrum analysis is the most popular technique applied for the quantitative analysis of the electroen- cephalographic signals. Each step from signal acquisition through spectrum analysis to presentation of parameters was examined with providing some different values of parameters. The steps are:(1) signal acquisition; (2) spectrum analysis; (3) parameter extractions; and (4) presentation of results. In the step of signal acquisition, filtering and amplification of signal should be considered and sampling rate for analog-to-digital conversion is two-time faster than highest frequency component of signal. For the spectrum analysis, the length of signal or epoch size transformed to a function on frequency domain by courier transform is important. Win dowing method applied for the pre-processing before the analysis should be considered for reducing leakage problem. In the step of parameter extraction, data reduction has to be considered so that statistical comparison can be used in appropriate number of parameters. Generally, the log of power of all bands is derived from the spectrum. For good visualization and quantitative evaluation of time course of the parameters are presented in chronospectrogram.
