In the 21st century, fashion design trend is focused on 'retro'. 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century. In the rapidly changing present, the more people want to find a clue to the hope and happiness from the past nostalgia. Reflecting such people's desire, retro fashion has boomed again from 2000 as one of powerful trends. This research conforms the meaning of retro fashion and characteristic of retro fashion design. And through this processing, it was find that retro fashion design had lost century retro romantic fahion image. Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of retro dress design of retro romantic fashion image was showed by using CAD. The results of this study are as followings. First, Retro fashion is worth the high value of good producr of new and creative for consumers who pursuit tranquil mood in the midist of dailly change Second, Nostalgia and revival of style for each 10 years after 1920's is well brought out in Retro trend of modernt fashion. Also decorative and elegant style are marked by retro romantic fashion mood. Third, fashion design using the computer graphics was presented by application retro romatic image. It is mixed with elegance and modernity based on retro feeling, It is suggested that computer graphics was effectively used in fashion design development to the newly romantic and modern style through 1950'-1960'intimate retro fashion image.

With the increase of electrical consumption and the unbalance of power demand and supply, power reserve rate is getting smaller and also the reliability of the power supply is getting deteriorated. Under this circumstance, the electrical energy storage (EES) System is considered as one of essential countermeasure for demand side management. This paper proposes efficient evaluation algorithms of multiple functions for EES systems, especially the secondary battery energy storage systems, in the case where they are interconnected with the power distribution systems. It is important to perform the economic evaluation for the new energy storage systems in a quantitative manner, because they are very costly right now. In this paper, the multiple functions of EES systems such as load levelling, effective utilization of power distribution systems and uninterruptible power supply are classified, and then the quantitative evaluation methods for their functions are proposed. From the case studies, it is verified that EES systems installed at distribution systems in a dispersed manner have multiple functions involved with direct and indirect benefits and also they can be expected to introduce to distribution systems with respects to economical point of view.

사이버 공간 및 게임 콘텐츠 상에 존재하는 수많은 캐릭터의 행동을 표현하기 위하여 개개의 움직임을 수작업으로 일일이 제작하여 제공하는 것이 거의 불가능하고 비효율적이기 때문에 이를 자동화하여 보다 사실적이고 효율적으로 표현하기 위해서는 군집 애니메이션 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 프로그래머가 가상현실이나 게임 응용 프로그램에서 군집행동을 프로그래밍 하는데 직접 활용하기 위한 군집행동 라이브러리로 사이버 아쿠아리움을 구현하고, 사람이 사이버 아쿠아리움으로 접근하는 것을 거리로 측정하는 센서 보드를 제작하여 물고기들의 능동적인 군집 행동을 유발하는 센서 기반의 유비쿼터스 사이버 아쿠아리움을 구축한다

이 연구의 목적은 미국의 '한 책, 한 도시' 지역사회 독서운동 확산의 시기적 특성 및 지속성에 관하여 살펴보는 것이다. 2013년 6월까지 미국의회도서관 도서센터 웹사이트에 등록된 584개 '한 책' 프로젝트들의 확산 현황 및 특성을 태동기 (1998년-2001년), 성장기 (2002년-2006년) 및 재도약기 (2007년-현재)의 세 시기로 나누어 살펴보았다. 또한 주요한 '한 책' 프로젝트들의 웹사이트 등을 분석하여 적어도 50개(8.9%) 이상 '한 책' 프로젝트들의 지속성, 특히 초기에 시작된 '한 책' 프로젝트들의 안정성을 확인하였다. 지속적인 일부 '한 책' 프로젝트의 새로운 변화 모색 및 'The Big Read' 이니셔티브를 통한 '한 책' 독서운동 모형의 확산 추이는 향후 주목할 만하다.

Pediatric patients with dissecting aneurysms usually present with ischemia rather than bleeding. We report a case of a 15-year-old boy with a dissecting aneurysm of the posterior cerebral artery (PCA) presenting with hemorrhage. He was first treated with stent-assisted coil embolization, in an attempt to avoid trapping of the PCA and preserve the perforators. After the procedure, he recovered well from general anesthesia, but rebleeding occurred from the same lesion 6 hours after the procedure, therefore endovascular segmental occlusion of the parent artery was performed secondarily. Apparently, a reconstructive method of stent-assisted coiling is worth trying to preserve the parent vessel and perforators, but it is not always efficient and durable for dissecting aneurysms.

With the development of industry and the improvement of living standards, better quality in power electric service is required more than ever before. Under these circumstances, to deliver reasonable voltage regulation methods in distribution systems need to be developed. So, This paper deals with optimal introduction of the line voltage regulator (SVR : Step Voltage Regulator) in power distribution systems. First, This paper investigates characteristics of SVR and performs economic evaluation of SVR's introduction by using Present Worth Method. This paper, also suggests proper location and optimal voltage regulation algorithm. In order to deliver suitable voltages to as many customers as possible, the optimal sending voltage of SVR should be decided by the effective operation of voltage regulators at the distribution feeders. The simulation results using a model distribution system and real distribution systems show that the proposed methods can be a practical tool for the voltage regulation in distribution systems.

Cheong-Gang Medical Chart is 60 years worth of diagnosis records kept by Oriental Medicine Doctor Kim Young Hoon [金永勳, 號 晴崗 1882-1974], who held practice in Seoul's Jong-ro from 1915 till 1974. Kim Young Hoon's eldest son, Kim Ki Su (金琦洙) donated the medical records exceeding a thousand volumes to KyungHee University, and researches are being made presently. The author of Cheong-Gang Medical Chart, Kim Young Hoon, was a medical scholar who studied the essence of the traditional medicine of his time. He was handed down the quintessence of traditional medicine by keeping in touch with the prominent oriental doctors in Seoul at that time, and he constantly applied it to his practice and made records of it. Consequently, his diagnosis charts contain a whole new form of prescriptions, treatment skills, and processes of clinical application that have never been seen before in the texts of Korean Medicine. The writer has written a paper on the present condition of Cheong-Gang Medical Chart, which was published in the Journal of Korean Oriental Medicine in 2004. This manuscript reports the results of the test studies made to develop an efficient database model as a prior step to organizing the medical records into a data bank.

Myostatin (growth differentiation factor (GDF)-8), is one member of the transforming growth factor $\beta$ superfamily. Investigations of GDF-8 null mice and double-muscled cattle revealed that GDF-8 has a profound influence upon skeletal muscle growth. Therefore, the GDF-8 effect upon the productive performance of pigs is worth exploring. In the present study, the nucleotide sequences and expression levels of GDF-8 genes in European pigs (Landrace and Duroc) and Asian pigs (Taoyuan and Small-ear) were evaluated. Based upon their genetic background these breeds possess significantly distinct growth rate and muscle productionphenotypes. Our sequence data showed that the nucleotide sequences of European and Asian pigs were 100% similar. Postnatal expression of GDF-8 gene in skeletal muscles, from birth to 12 mo of age, among different breeds was measured. GDF-8 expression levels in the longissimus muscle of neonatal European breed littermates were the highest, however it declined significantly (p<0.05) at 1 and 3 mo, and then increased gradually at 6 to 12 mo. The Asian breeds, however, GDF-8 expression level increased markedly at 3 mo and maintained a constant level thereafter. The results indicate that rather than polymorphism within the GDF-8 functional sequence between European and Asia breeds, it was relative to the gene regulation in postnatal muscle growth.

Video digests provide an effective way of confirming a video content rapidly due to their very compact form. By watching a digest, users can easily check whether a specific content is worth seeing in full. The impression created by the digest greatly influences the user's choice in selecting video contents. We propose a novel method of automatic digest creation that evokes a joyful impression through the created digest by exploiting smile/laughter facial expressions as emotional cues of joy from video. We assume that a digest presenting smiling/laughing faces appeals to the user since he/she is assured that the smile/laughter expression is caused by joyful events inside the video. For detecting smile/laughter faces we have developed a neural network based method for classifying facial expressions. Video segmentation is performed by automatic shot detection. For creating joyful digests, appropriate shots are automatically selected by shot ranking based on the smile/laughter detection result. We report the results of user trials conducted for assessing the visual impression with automatically created 'joyful' digests produced by our system. The results show that users tend to prefer emotional digests containing laughter faces. This result suggests that the attractiveness of automatically created video digests can be improved by extracting emotional cues of the contents through automatic facial expression analysis as proposed in this paper.

Timber inventory is a good starting point for developing strategies to effectively manage the timberland. In the sale of timberland, pricing is mostly based on this inventory. For a small timberland, inventory by conventional ground survey could be possible. In the case of large and nationwide business transactions, swift and inexpensive inventory is worth to be considered as the conventional methods require more experienced man power, money and time. In the present study, it was aimed to identify the chronicle of timberland such as changes that has occurred owing to silvicultural activities and by other means using the historical aerial photography and satellite data. Historical aerial photos from National Aerial Photography Program (NAPP), National High Altitude Photography (NHAP), Survey Photography and Landsat satellite data were used. Orthophotos were constructed using the DOQQ and DEM from USGS. Simple photo interpretation technique was employed to classify the orthophoto and satellite data. The plantation area was classified into softwood, mixed and hardwood. The timber age and the corresponding acreage details and the changes were also estimated. The result of this study could be more useful to the timberland buyers to better understand the chronicle of timberland of their interest prior to transactions.
