The Effect of Taste and Cooking Method of Medicinal Cuisine on Customer Loyalty (약선 요리의 맛과 조리방법이 고객 애호도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of taste and cooking method of medicinal cuisine on the customer loyalty. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 214 customers visiting a restaurant specialized in temple cuisine in Yangsan city, Kyungnam province. Statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS program. Female respondents preferred garnish and bright color, and males preferred flavor and chewing taste as a taste of medicinal cuisine. The older respondents preferred flavor and chewing taste more than younger ones. Among cooking methods of medicinal cuisine, females preferred steaming and older respondents preferred boiling and cooking in casserole. From the regression analysis, the customer loyalty was singnificantly affected by sauce, delicious looking color, flavor, aroma, and chewy texture among taste factors and by boiling and cooking in casserole among cooking methods.

Sensibility Evaluation of Color Temperature and Rendering Index to the LED-Based White Illumination (LED 기반 백색 조명의 색온도 및 연색지수에 따른 감성 평가)

  • The aim of this study is to characterize the optical properties of white light-emitting diodes lighting modules and then to evaluate the sensitivity of students and teachers in reacting to the optical properties of these modules. For the sake of this study, each of 5 lighting modules was introduced to the 5 test cabinets. The 5 test cabinets were evaluated and analyzed the student and teacher's sensitivity reaction. We have selected If questions on sensitivity of the lighting and evaluated these questions with semantic differential method. To verify the reliability and objectivity of the questions, the feasibility survey was carried out by a preliminary test. As a result of the test, the sensitivities on the test cabinets were classified the 4 factors, namely, activity as the first factor, stability as the second one , potency as the third one and sensitive image as the fourth one respectively. By the evaluation of student and teacher's sensitivity on the correlated color temperature, they preferred the cabinet with the higher color temperature in view of the activity and potency. And they preferred the cabinet with the lower color temperature in view of the stability factor. In the sensitive image, they preferred the 5800K, bluish white lighting regardless of the color temperature. By the evaluation on the color rendering index, they preferred the cabinet with the higher color rendering index in view of the activity, stability and sensitive image. In the potency factor, they preferred the white lighting with the middle color rendering index.

  • The experiment aimed at knowing the effect of physiology and psychology according to season on color preference. Two tests, one of the spring and the other of the autumn was conducted. Seventy subjects with normal color vision served as subjects. The subjects entered a bioclimatic chamber controlled at a temperature of $25\pm1^{\circ}C$, a relative humidity of $50\pm5\%$ and a light of 1000 1x. The subjects wearing white shirts and trousers sat quietly on a sofa for one our. Sensation from warm to cool colors might be possibly different individually Therefore, a subject asked to array 41 randomly placed cloth colors from very warm to very cool colors during rest quietly for one our. All subjects arrayed these cloth colors in the order from red through yellow and green to blue, which had the reproducibility. After rest, they were instructed to choose a single one out of 41 cloth colors, preferred by themselves, every 10min during one our 0-ring test were measured to red, yellow, white, blue, black, favorite color, and dislike color. Most subjects preferred warmer color in April than in December. Tympanic temperature was significantly lower in December than in April. Finger presser was significantly higher in like color than in dislike color but it was no significant differences between spring and autumn. The preferring the warm color in April toward summer when basal metabolic rate is decreased than in December toward winter when it is increased can explain that physiology reaction by load error between actual core temperature and set-point induces psychological reaction to pursue visual alliesthesia. Our present experiment revealed that the preferred color could be determined by the relationship between the internal temperature and its set point according to season. It should be emphasized that the alliesthesia was observed also in the realm of visual system.

The Relationship Between Color & Clothing Color Preference And Personality Traits Among High School Girls (여고생의 복색 선호와 성격특성과의 상관연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between color & clothing color preferences and three personality traits. Personality traits were measured with chung's Personality Scale. The questionare measuring Color & Clothing color preferences consisted of items designed to assess color preference, color repugnance clothing color preferences. These questionaire were administered to 302 senior high school girls in Seoul. Statistical analysis consisted of corelation and chi-square-test. The result were; 1) Activity, stability, sociability was no significant related to color preference. 2) Activity, sociability was positively related to color repugnance in Value but stability was no significant. 3) Sociability and stability was positively related to color preference, but activity and stability was no significant. 4) There was a positive relationship between color preference and clothing color preference. (r=0.8867) 5) The most preferred colors were white, light blue, and light green. The most repugnated colors were light red, dark red purple, and dark yellow. 6) The most preferred clothing colors were yellow, pink, and green in Spring, white and blue in Summer all kinds of colors, colors in Autumn, and Black and Grey in Winter.

A Study on the Extraction of Correlated Color Temperature, Illuminance, Control Speed under Controllable LED Lighting in the Kitchen Space (제어가능한 부엌공간 LED조명에서의 색온도, 조도, 제어속도 추출에 관한 연구)

  • This study has found out appropriate scopes of correlated color temperature and illuminance value with regard to general diffused lighting and work in the kitchen. It also has presented appropriate photometric quantity control speed for behavioral change with the following results. 1)For general diffused lighting, the appropriate photometric quantity has turned out to be 4,000 to 4,500K in color temperature and illuminance value of 300 to 400lx. And 300lx at 4,500K has proven to be the most comfortable, behavior-appropriate, and preferred pair. 2)As far as appropriate photometric quantity for work is concerned, color temperature of 4,000 to 5,000K and illuminance value of 600 to 800lx are appropriate, while 700lx at 4,500 to 5,000K are the most comfortable, behavior-appropriate, and preferred set. 3)As for appropriate photometric quantity control speed in behavioral change, 3 to 5 seconds has proven the most comfortable, appropriate, and preferred for behavioral change from entry to general areas and 1 to 3 seconds for change from general to work.

The influence of beauty makeups lips design on the impression formation (뷰티메이크업의 입술 디자인이 인상형성에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, the impression formation according to the lip design of beauty makeup, preferred lips and its reasons have been empirically analyzed. The research method is a questionnaire survey using SPSS program. As a result of the study, it has been founded the significant influence of the color and shape of the lips on the impression formation, and the modern people's views on lip makeup could be identified. The most preferred lip color was red, and the preferred lip shape was the standard type. As a result of factor analysis, red color showed the highest capability factor, and pink color showed the highest sociability factor among lip colors. It hopefully is expected that this study will be utilized as basic data for beauty design.

  • The need of Home-Office is increasing according to the technology and communication system being developed. It is necessary to develop space program and home furniture design for Home-Office. The purpose of this study was to investigate sjpace condition for Home-Office and Home-Office furniture, and to examine preference and opinion on Home-Office. The results this study can be summarized as follows: 1) An isolated space such as a study was the most preferred for Home-Office. The proper size of Home-Office space in residential interior was over 3.3m$\times$3m. 2) The system furniture which is enable to store OA system, and to have efficient work space was preferred. 3) The preferred color of system furniture was natural wood tone, and the most preferred color of chair was blue. 4) It was assumed that the possibility of Home-Office is increased in the new future.

  • To find out customers' consciousness by gender on satisfaction factors and preference in flower design of venues for the celebration of baby's first birthday, the survey was performed for 650 of adult male and female. The result shows that well designed flower design contributed to improvement in customers' satisfaction and increase in intention of reuse as well. The most influential factors in preference on flower design works were design harmony and color for male and design style and composition for female. Universal preferences of customers regardless of gender were as follows: Installation position preferred in flower design was in the sequence of table, entrance, platform, wall, and ceiling; plant preferred was Rosa hybrida; color preferred was pink; and bulky flower design were preferred.

An Adaptive Color Enhancement Algorithm using the Preferred Color Reconstruction (선호색 보정을 이용한 화질 향상 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose an adaptive color enhancement algorithm. It is used for the flat panel displays (FPDs) such as LCD, PDP, and so on. The proposed algorithm consists of an adaptive linear approximation CDF(Cumulative Density Function) algorithm and an adaptive saturation enhancement algorithm. The one is for contrast enhancement which prevents an image from the distortion by luminance transient of an input image. The other is the algorithm which improves the saturation without the contour artifact and over-saturation, whose problems are generated during the enhancing saturation. In addition, it allows to achieve the high quality image using the saturation enhancement method for a preferred color of original image. Visual test and standard deviation of their histograms have been applied to evaluate the resultant output images of the proposed algorithm.
