STL 포맷의 구멍 오류 수정을 위한 삼각형 분할법 적용에 관한 연구

  • This paper verified error of STL file and presented a new application of reformed division method for reducing to appeared error by using Delaunay triangulation method that used to modify error of verified data. First, it is analyzed each vertices in hole error and classified follow case that is 1. case of plan or slope, 2. case of edge, 3. case of apex and 4. case of rapid curve, and reduced volume tolerance between original model and converted model after convert STL file.

CNC 밀링머신 이송장치의 오차유형 및 정상상태 오차해석에 의한 제어기 설계 (Controller Design by Error Shape and Steady-State Error Analysis for a Feed Drive System in CNC Milling Machine)

  • This paper deals with the position control fur a feed drive system in CNC milling machine, which utilizes a modified error signal for the elimination of steady-state error. A linear time-invariant (LTI) system has consistent properties in response to standard test signal inputs. Those also appear in an error curve acquired from the response. From such properties, constructed is an error model for the position control of the feed drive. And then added is the output of the error model to the current error signal. Consequently the resulting proportional control system brings performance improvement in view of the steady-state error. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is confirmed through simulations and experiments.

  • A 5-axis CNC machine tool is more useful compared with a 3-axis machine tool, because the position and the orientation of a tool tip can be controlled simultaneously. Unlike the 3-axis machine tool, the 5-axis machine tool has the volumetric position error and volumetric orientation error due to the quasi-static error of each machine tool joint which is a major source of machined part error. So, the generalized error synthesis model of the 5-axis CNC machine tool was developed to predict and to compensate for the volumetric position error and the volumetric orientation error. It was proposed that a compensation algorithm to correct simultaneously the volumetric position error and the volumetric orientation error of the 5-axis CNC machine by error inverse kinematic.

직선운동 시스템의 정밀도 시뮬레이션 기술 (Accuracy Simulation of the Precision Linear Motion Systems)

  • The accuracy simulation technology of linear motion system is introduced in this paper. Motion errors and positioning errors are simulated using informations on the design parameters of elements of linear motion system. 5 Degree-of-freedom motion error analysis algorithm utilizing the transfer function method and positioning error analysis algorithm which are main frame of accuracy simulation are introduced. Simulated motion errors are compared with experimental results for verifying the effectiveness. Then, using the proposed algorithms, simulation is performed to investigate the effects of ballscrew and linear motor on the motion errors. Finally, the influence of feedback sensor position on the positioning error is also discussed.

  • The error motion of a machine tool spindle directly affects the surface errors of machined parts. The error motions of the spindle are not desired errors in the three linear direction motions and two rotating motions. Those are usually due to the imperfect of bearings, stiffness of spindle, assembly errors, external force or unbalance of rotors. The error motions of the spindle have been needed to be decreased to desired goal of spindle's performance. The level of error motion is needed to be estimated during the design and assembly process of the spindle. In this paper, the estimation method for the five degree of freedom (5 D.O.F) error motions of the spindle is suggested. To estimate the error motions of the spindle, waviness of shaft and bearings, external force model was used as input data. And, the estimation models are considering geometric relationship and force equilibrium of the five degree of the freedom. To calculate error motions of the spindle, not only imperfection of the shaft, bearings, such as rolling element bearing, hydrostatic bearing, and aerostatic bearing, but also driving elements such as worm, pulley, and direct driving motor systems, were considered.

초정밀 스테이지의 반복정밀도 분석 및 보정 (Analysis and compensation of Repeatability for Ultra-precision Stage)

  • The refractive index of the laser interferometer is compensated using the simultaneously measured variations of room temperature and humidity in the method. In order to investigate the limit of compensation, the stationary test against two fixed reflectors mounted on the zerodur plate is performed firstly. From the experiment, it is confirmed that the measuring error of the laser interferometer can be improved from 0.12$\mu$m to 0.17$\mu$m by the application of the method. Secondly, for the verification of the compensating effect, it is applied to estimate the positioning accuracy of an ultra precision aerostatic stage. Two times of the refractive index compensation are performed to acquire the positioning error of the stage from the initially measured data, that is, to the initially measured positioning error and to the measured positioning error profile after the NC compensation. Although the positioning error of anaerostatic stage cannot be clarified perfectly, it is known that by the compensation method, the measuring error by the laser interferometer can be improved to within 0.15$\mu$m.
