In this paper, we analyzed the factors influencing the size of Korea Polytechnic as a public vocational education and training institution through analysis of demand, region, industry, and demand with established existing campus and new campus in Korea Polytechnic. By analyzing data on admission, training, and employment for 3 years out of 37 campuses, we have sampled 5 campuses by type of Korea Polytechnic, fused with the results derived from the literature analysis and in-depth analysis results, so that the regional campus will play a leading role and the direction of development. The selection of five campuses by type is a precedent study to analyze 37 campuses in the future. As a result of the study, the demand analysis through objective indicators such as the number of high school graduates, the number of employed persons, the presence of nearby industrial complexes, and policy variables is very important and reflects the reality well. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the demand through the objective indicators in decision making related to the new campus at the pre-analysis stage. In addition to the general data proposed in this paper, that is, common variables in all regions, it is important to consider the factors that can reflect local demand characteristics when considering specific locations.
Purpose: Although numerous systematic reviews or meta-analysis have reported the hypotensive effects of garlic, the application of these results in the area of functional food is limited. This is because the trials used various garlic preparations and patients with differing hypertensive intensities. To validate the use of garlic powder as a blood pressure lowering functional food, we performed the current meta-analysis, focusing on the study of prehypertensive subjects. Methods: Literature search was carried out using various database up to July 2020, including PubMed, Cochrane, ScienceDirect and Korean studies Information Service System, and each study was screened by pre-stated inclusion/exclusion criteria. We identified nine trials that met the eligibility, of which two studies with moderate or high risk of bias were excluded. Results: Meta-analysis of the seven studies revealed that an intake of garlic powder significantly lowered the systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) by -6.0 mmHg (95% confidence interval [CI], -11.2, -0.8; p = 0.025) and -2.7 mmHg (95% CI, -5.3, -0.1; p = 0.046), respectively. Shapes of the funnel plot for both SBP and DBP seemed symmetrical, and the Egger's regression revealed no publication bias. Moreover, duration of the intervention period was inversely associated with the pooled effects of garlic powder on SBP (p = 0.019) and DBP (p = 0.019), and this result was supported by the subgroup-analysis. The daily dose of garlic powder, baseline value of each biomarker, and subject number, did not moderate the effects on SBP and DBP. Conclusion: Results of the present meta-analysis indicate that garlic powder supplements are superior to placebo for improving the BP in prehypertensive individuals.
As cyber attacks and crimes increase exponentially and hacking attacks become more intelligent and advanced, hacking attack methods and routes are evolving unpredictably and in real time. In order to reinforce the enemy's responsiveness, this study aims to propose a method for developing an artificial intelligence-based security control platform by building a next-generation security system using artificial intelligence to respond by self-learning, monitoring abnormal signs and blocking attacks. The artificial intelligence-based security control platform should be developed as the basis for data collection, data analysis, next-generation security system operation, and security system management. Big data base and control system, data collection step through external threat information, data analysis step of pre-processing and formalizing the collected data to perform positive/false detection and abnormal behavior analysis through deep learning-based algorithm, and analyzed data Through the operation of a security system of prevention, control, response, analysis, and organic circulation structure, the next generation security system to increase the scope and speed of handling new threats and to reinforce the identification of normal and abnormal behaviors, and management of the security threat response system, Harmful IP management, detection policy management, security business legal system management. Through this, we are trying to find a way to comprehensively analyze vast amounts of data and to respond preemptively in a short time.
Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) refers to acute bleeding inside the intracranial vault. Not only does this devastating disease record a very high mortality rate, but it can also cause serious chronic impairment of sensory, motor, and cognitive functions. Therefore, a prompt and professional diagnosis of the disease is highly critical. Noninvasive brain imaging data are essential for clinicians to efficiently diagnose the locus of brain lesion, volume of bleeding, and subsequent cortical damage, and to take clinical interventions. In particular, computed tomography (CT) images are used most often for the diagnosis of ICH. In order to diagnose ICH through CT images, not only medical specialists with a sufficient number of diagnosis experiences are required, but even when this condition is met, there are many cases where bleeding cannot be successfully detected due to factors such as low signal ratio and artifacts of the image itself. In addition, discrepancies between interpretations or even misinterpretations might exist causing critical clinical consequences. To resolve these clinical problems, we developed a diagnostic model predicting intracranial bleeding and its subtypes (intraparenchymal, intraventricular, subarachnoid, subdural, and epidural) by applying deep learning algorithms to CT images. We also constructed a visualization tool highlighting important regions in a CT image for predicting ICH. Specifically, 1) 27,758 CT brain images from RSNA were pre-processed to minimize the computational load. 2) Three different CNN-based models (ResNet, EfficientNet-B2, and EfficientNet-B7) were trained based on a training image data set. 3) Diagnosis performance of each of the three models was evaluated based on an independent test image data set: As a result of the model comparison, EfficientNet-B7's performance (classification accuracy = 91%) was a way greater than the other models. 4) Finally, based on the result of EfficientNet-B7, we visualized the lesions of internal bleeding using the Grad-CAM. Our research suggests that artificial intelligence-based diagnostic systems can help diagnose and treat brain diseases resolving various problems in clinical situations.

The purpose of this study was to conduct pan play counseling that contains Korean cultural characteristics to see if it affects college students' anxiety reduction in coronavirus situations. Counseling was conducted for 40 minutes once a week. The associations of participants were recorded for each session. The score of anxiety test decreased in the participants' pre-and post-anxiety tests. The effectiveness of pan play counseling was verified. Case analysis applied phenomenological research method. Structural decisions through case analysis were in the order of regression, expression, differentiation, and integration. In the results of case analysis, participants feel confused through encounters in the early stages and regress unconsciously. Emotions of negativity that could not be erupted in the expression structure appear as consciousness, and the participants awaken. Participants expressed emotions such as fear, anxiety, loneliness, anger, and irritation. Consciousness of the unconscious causes a transformation of ego. The ego gains discernment as the great drama emerges from the differentiated structure. In other words, it builds confidence. The goal of counseling is to reinforce the ego, realizing the potential to overcome anxiety. In the last integration's structure, a wedding, a baby, and a old wise man appeared, showing that a transformation took place. In the results of this study, it was verified that pan play counseling has a healing effect. This study is expected to serve as an opportunity to develop Korean counseling techniques that incorporate Korean culture.

We developed non-metallic electrodes that can replace metallic electrodes of the electrostatic precipitator(ESP) for the purpose of light weight, corrosion resistance, cost reduction. We manufactured three types of collection electrodes made of stainless steel (M), Carbon ink coating layer-Plastic sheet-Carbon ink coating layer (CPC), and Plastic sheet-Carbon ink coating layer-Plastic sheet (PCP). We studied the collection efficiency of a two-stage ESP using oil mist particles with and without collection stage by changing the flow rate, the material of collection electrode, and the applied voltage of the pre-charger module and the collection module. Here we measured concentrations of particles at diameters of 0.45 ㎛ (CMD; count median diameter) and 3.0 ㎛ (MMD : mass median diameter), as well as PM2.5 and PM10. As a result of the experiment, two-stage ESP had 22~25% higher collection efficiency in PM2.5 than one-stage ESP at the same applied voltage. The difference in collection efficiency by varying the materials of collection electrodes was less than 5%. The weight of the non-metallic electrode was only one eighth the weight of the metal electrode. CPC electrode had a thickness of 0.27 mm, which was 1.5 times thinner than a thickness of PCP electrode, so when the flow rate increased, the CPC electrodes couldn't be kept at equal intervals due to the fluttering unlike PCP electrodes. In addition, the PCP-CPC collection module of the present experiment followed the theoretical efficiency based on Deutsch equation and Cochet's charging theory.
This study tried to suggest crisis management compliance to prevent personal information infringement accidents that may occur in the process because the data including personal information is being processed in the artificial intelligence (AI) service process. To this end, first, the AI service provision process is divided into 3 processes such as service planning/data design and collection process, data pre-processing and purification process, and algorithm development and utilization process. And 3 processes are subdivided into 9 stages following to personal information processing stages to infringe personal information. All processes were investigated with literature and experts' Delphi. Second, the investigated personal information infringement factors were selected through FGI, Delphi, etc. for experts. Third, a survey was conducted with experts on the severity and possibility of each personal information infringement factor, and the validity and adequacy of the 94 responses were verified. Fourth, to present appropriate risk management compliance for personal information infringement factors in AI services, a method for calculating the risk level of personal information infringement is prepared by utilizing the asset value of personal information, personal information infringement factors, and the possibility of infringement accidents. Through this, the countermeasures for personal information infringement incidents were suggested according to the scored risk level.

Voice conversion, a technology that allows an individual's speech data to be regenerated with the acoustic properties(tone, cadence, gender) of another, has countless applications in education, communication, and entertainment. This paper proposes an approach based on the StarGAN-VC model that generates realistic-sounding speech without requiring parallel utterances. To overcome the constraints of the existing StarGAN-VC model that utilizes one-hot vectors of original and target speaker information, this paper extracts feature vectors of target speakers using a pre-trained version of Rawnet3. This results in a latent space where voice conversion can be performed without direct speaker-to-speaker mappings, enabling an any-to-any structure. In addition to the loss terms used in the original StarGAN-VC model, Wasserstein distance is used as a loss term to ensure that generated voice segments match the acoustic properties of the target voice. Two Time-Scale Update Rule (TTUR) is also used to facilitate stable training. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms previous methods, including the StarGAN-VC network on which it was based.
This research aims to address the effect of Guided Autobiography(GAB) on ego-integrity, depression and life-satisfaction in the elderly and to investigate psychological changes and experiences on the senior subject. 20 subjects participated weekly autobiography writing sessions in a senior academy in the S city for 13 weeks. In this research, we carried out examination on ego-integrity, depression test, and life-satisfaction survey were performed before and after the writing sessions for a quantitative analysis, which was later investigated through a 'corresponding sample T-test'. Based on the results of the above mentioned tests, the qualitative analysis was conducted through an individual sessions with 5 selected participants. The results of this research are summarized as following. First, ego-integrity showed satisfactorily meaningful difference between pre- and post-GAB writing. The participants recollected the past repent and revisited unresolved issues in their lives. The subjects were able to accept these past misdemeanors and appreciate their lives. GAB indeed helped improving ego-integrity. Second, the hypothesis that GAB writing will help decrease depression was accepted. 2-page weekly writing assignments enabled the participants think of joyful moments in their past, and showed decrease the symptoms of depression. Third, this study revealed that GAB writing improved life- satisfaction. The participants learned to express gratitude and peace in their mind. The happy feeling and optimistic thoughts enhanced their satisfaction of life in turn. In addition, it turned out that the effects of GAB were more drastic in group sessions than in individual writings. Interpersonal interactions in group sessions encouraged the exchange of positive feedback, thereby helping them reflect themselves positively.
The successful aging paradigm suggests that the elderly keep their social ties and actively participate in various activities in later life. Many Korean studies on aging, however, have overlooked the importance of various social activities and relationships beyond kinship. This article aims to investigate the perceived social activities among Korean elders to comprehend the subjectivity of successful aging. 613 respondents, over 50 years old, are selected from a national survey data which was collected by face-to-face interview based on the structured questionnaire. The respondents are classified into pre old (50-64), young old (65-74), old old (over 75). Major findings are as follows. The social activities are grouped into two sub-categories: 'relational activity' and 'productive activity'. The activity types are different by the age cohorts. Various activities are considered in terms of one's needs or motivations, and properly chosen based on the subjective evaluation during life course. Both demographic variables such as sex, area and social context variables such as marital status, living-together show influence on the activity type choices. Plans for later life and work ethics are important as well. Policies regarding social participation emphasizing productivity should positively consider relational motives, as perceived by the Korean elderly.
