자기베어링 적용 공작기계용 고속 스핀들 개발 (Development of High Speed Spindle for Machine Tool with Magnetic Bearings)

  • Most of spindles for machine tool are supported by ball bearings, and there are problems in the limits of high speed and high power as well as the cumbersome maintenance due to the short life time. In order to overcome these problems of the conventional spindles, the high speed spindle with magnetic bearings is developed in this study. Magnetic bearings for 60 000 r/min class high-speed spindle are designed, and high speed spindle with magnetic bearings are fabricated. Based on the running test up to 60 000 r/min, it is verified that the spindle is stably supported by the magnetic bearings, and the magnitude of the unbalance response at 60 000 r/min is less than $3{\mu}m$.

  • 송전전압을 배전전압으로 변성하여 고객에게 배분하는 154kV 주변압기의 경우 과거 옥외철구형 변전소에서는 주로 동을 이용한 모선을 이용하였다. 최근 부지확보의 어려움 및 빈번한 민원 발생으로 지하 또는 옥내변전소로 바뀌어 가는 추세이고 과거 동모선 방식에서 케이블을 이용한 방식이 선호되고 있다. 모선방식의 경우는 구리나 알루미늄 바의 부식문제, 습기문제, 그리고 좁은 공간에서 사용시 절연 문제 등과 관련하여 지속적인 관리가 요구되고 있으나 케이블을 사용할 경우 이러한 문제들로부터 벗어날 수 있는 이점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 케이블을 사용하여 대전류를 송전할 경우 단일 케이블의 허용전류 용량에 따른 제한으로 복수의 케이블을 병렬 연결하여 사용하여야 한다. 그러나 케이블 동상 병렬사용시 케이블 포설 방식에 따라 동상간의 불평형전류 차가 심하게 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 송 배전 선로의 불평형전류 현황을 알아보고, 송전선로에 있어서 상배열 변경 및 배전선의 동상 케이블 배열방법을 변경함으로써 불평형전류를 최소화 하여 최적의 계통상태 유지를 위한 방안을 찾고자 한다.

고감쇠 주축 시스템을 위한 베어링의 복합배열에 관한 연구 (A Combined Bearing Arrangement for High Damping Spindle Systems)

  • The machining accuracy and performance is largely influenced by the static, dynamic and thermal characteristics of spindle systems in machine tools, because the spindle system is a intermedium for cutting force from tool and machine powef from motor. Large cutting force and power are transmitted by bearing with a point or line contact. So, the spindle system is the static and dynamic weakest point in machine structure. For improvement of static stiffness of spindle system can be changed design parameters, such as diameter of spindle, stiffness of bearing and bearing span. But for dynamic stiffness, the change of the design parameters are not useful. In this paper, the combined bearing arrangement is suggested for high damping spindle system. The combined bearing arrangement is composed of tandem double back to back arrangement type ball bearins and a high damping hydrostatic bearing. The variation of static deflection and amplitude in first natural frequency is evaluated with the location of hydrostatic bearing between front and rear ball bearing. The optimized location of hydrostatic bearing for high static and dynamic stiffness is determined rapidly and exactly using the mode shape and transfer function of spindle. The calculation of damping effect on vibration by unbalance of grinding wheel and pulley in optimized spindle system is carried out to verify the validity of the combined bearing arrangement. Finally, the simulation of grinding process show that the surface roughness of workpiece with high damping spindle system is 60% better than with ball bearing spindle system.

  • The voltage drop is important in electric railway for feeding a huge power of train on fixed feeding area. Nowadays it is tried to operate a high speed trains on conventional lines and there is problem on the voltage drop too. It is simulated on the conditions increased the turn ratio of trolley, installed autotransformer neutral line with variable taps. In result, it is compensated the voltage drop between ATs and better on last AT, not on the position of AT. And it is decreased a return current and neutral current of AT because of unbalance between trolley and feeder. It should be studied faster and more controllable the solid state switchs instead of the mechanical one in order to utilize this system.

  • The transmission of tracked vehicles performs complex functions as steering, shifting, braking, etc. and the system level life time has been a key influenced by the number of sub-parts like as gear assembly, torque converter, clutches, bearings and so on. In particular, the mechanical type steering system in tracked vehicle has impact shock torques in steering shift and those kind of shock torques can effect on the durability of many sub-parts in power train system. The field failure modes of gear assembly, steering assembly and the bearings of output shaft appear as a very complex phenomenon. In this study, the actual failure, which may occur in field, of the transmission was investigated comprehensively and that the endurance test on the resulting output shaft bearing failure analysis and life assessment was performed. Life time test method used in this study, developed for the purpose of the internal usage, and under these testing techniques the impact of the each bearing damage, which used in tracked vehicle transmission left / right outputs of different structures, was analyzed.

  • 제조업에서 생산설비에 사용되는 중요한 에너지원 중 하나는 전력에너지이며, 에너지 다소비 업종의 생산설비 즉, 플랜트에서는 사용하는 에너지의 절감과 효율 운전은 매우 중요한 관심사항이다. 본 논문에서는 생산 플랜트의 한 공정에서 가장 빈번히 사용되는 유도전동기를 모델로 하여 실제 진단, 계측을 통하여 측정값을 얻고, 기존의 운전 중인 설비들을 고효율 기기로 교체하였을 경우의 경제성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 현재 운전 중인 설비와 고효율설비로 교체하였을 경우에 대하여 각각 설비들의 연간 운전비용과 자본회수계수에 의한 연간 투자비용을 계산하였고, 이를 합산한 연간 총 운용비용을 비교하여 고효율설비의 경제적 타당성을 입증하였다.

태양광 발전시스템의 그림자 영향을 고려한 PV 모듈의 재구성 (Reconfiguration of PV Module Considering the Shadow Influence of Photovoltaic System)

  • This paper proposes the reconfiguration of PV module considering shadow influence of photovoltaic system. The PV system is consisted series-parallel connection of PV module. The voltage and current between PV modules become unbalance when shadow occurs to PV module. If shadow occurs to the series connection PV module, the output current is limited to current of shaded PV module. Also if shadow occurs to the parallel connection PV module, the output voltage is limited to voltage of shaded PV module. These problems are caused power loss. Therefore, the PV module in this paper consist using the fixed module and variable module by shaded conditions. The reconfiguration of PV module can compensates the shadow influence by changing connection of a variable module when shadow is occurred to PV module. A validity of the reconfiguration of PV module proposed in this paper proves through comparing with performance of conventional PV module.

API 617 규격에 의거한 프로세스 가스 터보압축기의 로터다이나믹 해석 및 안정성 검토 (A Rotordynamic and Stability Analysis of Process Gas Turbo-Compressor in accordance with API 617 Standard)

  • A rotordynamic and detailed stability analysis in accordance with API 617 standard were performed with a turbo-compressor, which is one of key rotating machinery in refinery, petroleum, and power plants. The system is composed of rotor shaft, impeller, sleeve hub, balance drum, and coupling hub. The rotor system is supported by tilting pad bearings, which has 5 pads and pad on loading condition. The rotordynamic analysis specified by API 617 includes the critical speed map, mode shape analysis, Campbell diagram, unbalance response analysis, and stability analysis. In particular, the specifications of stability analysis consist of a Level 1 analysis that approximates the destabilizing effects of the labyrinth seals and aerodynamic excitations, and Level 2 analysis that includes a detailed labyrinth seal aerodynamic analysis. The results of a rotordynamic analysis and stability analysis can evaluate the operating compressor health and can be utilized as a guide of its maintenance, repair and trouble solution.

인터럽트 기능을 갖는 ARM 프로세서의 설계 및 모의실행 (Design and Simulation of ARM Processor with Interrupts)

  • ARM은 저가임에도 불구하고, 저전력 소비와 신뢰할만한 성능으로 인하여 스마트폰, 디지털 카메라, 가정용 네트워크 장치, 무선 기술 등에 널리 쓰이고 있다. 국내는 메모리 반도체 설계에 있어서 세계 최고의 수준이나, 프로세서의 설계는 그에 미치지 못하여 메모리와 프로세서의 균형있는 발전을 이루지 못하고 있다. 일반적으로 프로세서를 설계할 때는 반드시 예외처리 및 인터럽트 기능까지 갖춰야하지만 연구단계에서는 이것이 누락되는 경우가 많다. 그러나, 프로세서가 완벽하게 동작하기 위하여 예외처리 및 인터럽트 기능까지 포함되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 VHDL을 이용하여 예외처리 및 인터럽트 기능을 갖는 32 비트 ARMv4 계열의 프로세서를 설계하고, ModelSim으로 검증하였다. 그 결과, ARM의 예외처리 및 인터럽트 기능을 성공적으로 수행할 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents the study of 3-Phase bi-directional DC to AC inverter with unity power factor. 3-Phase bi-directional DC to AC inverter is important for the bi-modal PV PCS with an energy storage system. Both Inverting and converting are needed to connect between the grid side and boost converting side to charge and discharge the energy storage system. The paper proposes the appropriate circuit topology and proper control system for the bi-directional inverter. It also proposes the method of selecting the optimum control method considering system stability. PSIM simulation is used to validate the proposed algorithm.
