관광위험지각이 관광 태도와 의도에 미치는 영향: COVID-19 상황을 중심으로 (The Effect of tourism risk perception on tourism attitudes and intentions: Focus on the contex of COVID-19)

  • COVID-19의 발생으로 전 세계적으로 위기상황을 맞이하고 있다. 본 연구는 COVID-19 상황에서 잠재관광객의 위험지각이 관광태도와 관광의도에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 검토하였다. 연구결과 관광객의 위험지각은 신체적위험, 사회적위험, 성과적위험과 같은 3가지 요인으로 구성되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 잠재관광객의 위험지각은 관광태도와 의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구에 활용된 위험지각, 관광태도, 관광의도를 인구통계학적 특성(성별, 연령, 직업)을 활용하여 차이검증을 수행하였다. 분석결과 20대의 잠재관광객은 다른 연령대에 비해 사회적위험요인을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 20대는 관광태도도 다른 연령대에 비해 상대적으로 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 검토되었다. 직업에 따른 차이검증에서는 학생집단은 다른 집단에 비해, 사회적위험요인, 관광태도, 관광의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 COVID-19 팬데믹상황과 그 이후에도 관광객의 위험지각을 감소시키는 부분에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이며, 학술적인 측면에서도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

A Proposal of Hazard/Risk Assessment Criteria and an Asbestos Management Method for Asbestos-containing Building Materials

  • Objectives: The AHERA method by the US EPA, ASTM E2356-04, and HSG264 by the UK HSE, all of which are hazard/risk assessment methods for asbestos-containing building materials, were reviewed and compared based on 231 homogeneous areas. In addition, the current Act on Asbestos Safety Management (enforcement: April 29, 2012) was reviewed and analyzed. This trial provided fundamental data for improving the current asbestos hazard/risk assessment method. Methods: For the hazard/risk assessment of 77 asbestos-containing public buildings including schools, 231 homogeneous areas were selected, each of which was assessed using AHERA, ASTM E2356-04, and HSG264. Results: The matching rate of the hazard/risk assessment stood at 20.4 percent between AHERA and ASTM, at 71.4 percent between AHERA and HSG264 and at 17.8 percent between ASTM and HSG264. The AHERA method includes a seven-category rating scale. There were three categories, two of which have three subcategories. ASTM provides two decision-making charts consisting of ten rating scales for current condition estimation and for potential for disturbance estimation. In addition, the HSG264 method has a total of 20 scores with four items, and then provides four grades. This HSG264 method cannot clearly separate current condition and potential for disturbance. Conclusions: In the Korean Act on Asbestos Safety Management, the hazard/risk assessment method for asbestos-containing building materials should consider balance between current condition estimation and the potential for disturbance estimation.

The effects of Internet addiction on the lifestyle and dietary behavior of Korean adolescents

  • We performed this study to examine lifestyle patterns and dietary behavior based on the level of Internet addiction of Korean adolescents. Data were collected from 853 Korean junior high school students. The level of Internet addiction was determined based on the Korean Internet addiction self-scale short form for youth, and students were classified as high-risk Internet users, potential-risk Internet users, and no risk Internet users. The associations between the students' levels of Internet addiction and lifestyle patterns and dietary behavior were analyzed using a chi-square test. Irregular bedtimes and the use of alcohol and tobacco were higher in high-risk Internet users than no risk Internet users. Moreover, in high-risk Internet users, irregular dietary behavior due to the loss of appetite, a high frequency of skipping meals, and snacking might cause imbalances in nutritional intake. Diet quality in high-risk Internet users was also worse than in potential-risk Internet users and no risk Internet users. We demonstrated in this study that high-risk Internet users have inappropriate dietary behavior and poor diet quality, which could result in stunted growth and development. Therefore, nutrition education targeting high-risk Internet users should be conducted to ensure proper growth and development.

  • System risk is the totality of all safety risks to customers, employees, suppliers, and other third parties that arise due to system operations. To assess the risk of major hazards with the potential to cause fatality to the customers and other members of the public, quantitative risk assessment methodologies are used. This paper presents the general principles of risk based management approach to improve the safety of high risk systems such as aviation, railway, and nuclear power plants. For the suitable risk control arrangement, case studies of acceptable risk level, risk rating matrix, and safety management philosophy are presented.

막장전방 예측기법에 근거한 TBM 터널의 리스크 관리 시스템 개발 및 현장적용 (TBM risk management system considering predicted ground condition ahead of tunnel face: methodology development and application)

  • TBM 시공 중에는 설계단계에서 예측하지 못한 지반과 조우할 수 있다. 그 중에서 TBM 굴진의 안정성을 저해하는 위험지반과 조우할 경우, 예상치 못한 문제로 인한 공사비 증가, 공기 지연 등으로 상당한 경제적 손실이 발생하게 된다. 따라서 시공 중 예상치 못한 리스크를 최소화하는 것은 TBM 프로젝트에서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 TBM 시공 중 막장전방의 위험지반을 사전에 예측하는 방안과 해당 위험지반으로 인해 발생 가능한 리스크 사건을 제시하였다. 또한 리스크 사건의 위험도를 평가하고, 대응이 필요한 리스크 사건에 대하여 대책공법을 제시할 수 있는 TBM 리스크 관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 먼저 TBM 굴진 중 안정성을 저해하는 위험지반들로 인해 발생 가능한 리스크 사건을 정리하였으며, 시공 중 막장전방의 위험지반을 예측하기 위한 방법으로 전기비저항 탐사기법을 활용하였다. 이렇게 예측한 위험지반에서 발생 가능한 리스크 사건의 위험도 평가는 위험지반 조우 시 리스크 사건의 발생확률과 리스크로 인한 다운타임의 크기에 대한 상호 영향도를 고려하여 수행한다. 평가 결과 등급에 따라 대응이 필요한 리스크 사건에 대하여 대책공법들을 제시하였으며, 여러 대책공법 중 최적의 대책공법을 객관적인 기준으로 선정하기 위하여 공사비와 공사기간 등을 속성으로 한 다기준 의사결정론을 활용하였다. 마지막으로 본 시스템의 검증을 위해 실제 리스크가 발생했던 EPB Shield TBM 현장에 개발 시스템을 적용하여, 시공 중 효과적인 리스크 관리를 통해 발생 가능한 리스크의 사전 대응이 가능함을 확인하였다.

베이지안 네트워크와 AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)를 활용한 쉴드 TBM 터널 리스크 분석 (Overall risk analysis of shield TBM tunnelling using Bayesian Networks (BN) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP))

  • 본 논문에서는 쉴드 TBM 시공 시 발생 가능한 사건 및 원인의 규명, 리스크 발생의 인과관계 규명, 리스크의 위험도 판별, 리스크의 저감대책 제시를 통한 쉴드 TBM의 전반적인 시공 리스크 관리에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해서 쉴드 TBM의 사고 사례에 대한 문헌조사, 설계 및 시공 전문가 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 리스크 사건은 절삭량 저하, 막장면 붕괴, 지반 침하, 지반 융기, 이수 분출, 배토 불능, 굴착 불가, 지하수 누수의 8개의 그룹으로 나뉘어졌다. 리스크의 원인은 지질 원인, 설계 원인, 시공관리 원인의 3가지 그룹으로 나뉘어졌다. 리스크 원인과 사건간의 인과관계를 체계적으로 분석하기 위하여 베이지안 네트워크를 이용한 도식적인 관계도를 작성하였다. 리스크의 위험도를 산정하기 위하여 리스크가 발생하였을 때 이를 복구하기 위한 다운타임 및 비용을 기준으로 전문가를 대상으로 Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)를 수행하였으며, 위험도 결과에 기반하여 리스크 대응단계를 제시하고 이를 실제 리스크 발생사례와 비교하여 검증하였다. 또한 발생 가능한 리스크에 대응하기 위하여 설계 및 시공단계에서의 리스크 저감대책을 제안하였다. 제안된 연구는 TBM 설계자 및 시공자가 현장의 조건을 고려하여 리스크 원인을 선정하고 이로 인해 발생 가능한 리스크를 체계적으로 분석하여 파악할 수 있게 해주며, 리스크의 위험도의 판별 및 그에 대한 설계 및 시공단계에서의 저감대책을 통해 체계적인 쉴드 TBM 리스크 관리에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

통증에 따른 경락의 생체 물리적 정보 분석 연구 (Biophysical Characteristics of Meridian System with Two Pain Diseases)

  • Objectives : Although previous anatomic, physiological and biophysics studies have examined the acupuncture meridian system, much remains unclear and controversial. This study was undertaken to examine electrical potential aspects of the meridian system. Electric potential was measured at the well and sea acupoints on the twelve acupuncture meridians (AM), on forty patients half with loin lesions, and pain of loin and lower extremities(LL) and half with shoulder lesions, and aching of shoulder and arm(SA). The object was to determine to what extent electric potential is an important risk factor between LL and SA. Methods : At the left and the right side with each of twenty LL and twenty SA patients, physiograph was used to measure electric potentials of AM ten sessions. T-test was used to compare the mean of electric potential between the two different pain groups and multiple logistic regression was used to analyze the risk of the 24 electric potentials measured. Results and Conclusions : In the LL, the only electric potential that was statistically significantly greater than SA was the bladder meridian on the left side. On the contrary, electric potentials in SA, which includes the large intestine, pericardium, triple burner, spleen, stomach, kidney and gallbladder meridians, were statistically larger than those of LL at the same side. On the right side, the five kinds of electric potentials(lung, large intestine, small intestine, pericardium and gallbladder meridian) of LL were statistically larger than those of SA. On the triple burner, stomach and kidney meridians electric potentials of SA were larger than those in LL. After adjusting for 24 electric potentials, pain risk factors, and different illness categories, multiple stepwise selection logistic regression modeling, resulted in the final selection of a total of 13 statistically significant electric potentials. These were 7 electric potentials at left side - small intestine, triple burner, spleen, stomach, bladder, liver and gallbladder meridian, and 6 at rght side - lung, large intestine, heart, pericardium, kidney and bladder meridian.

Regional Cathodic Protection Design of a Natural Gas Distribution Station

  • Regional cathodic protection has significant impact on pipeline integrity management. After risk analyses of a newly built gas distribution station constructed in an area with large dwelling density, risk score was high because of potential threat caused by galvanic corrosion. Except reinforced steel in concrete, there are four kinds of metal buried under earth: carbon steel, galvanized flat steel, zinc rod and graphite module. To protect buried pipeline from external corrosion, design and construction of regional cathodic protection was proposed. Current density was measured with potential using potential dynamic test and boundary element method (BEM) was used to calculate current requirement and optimize best anode placement during design. From our calculation on the potential, optimized conditions for this area were that an applied current was 3A and anode was placed at 40 meters deep from the soil surface. It results in potential range between $-1.128V_{CSE}$ and $-0.863V_{CSE}$, meeting the $-0.85V_{CSE}$ criterion and the $-1.2V_{CSE}$ criterion that no potential was more negative than $-1.2V_{CSE}$ to cause hydrogen evolution at defects in coating of the pipeline.

화학공장의 중대사고에 따른 예상손실액 산정 및 대책연구 (A Study on Estimation and Management of Loss Due to Catastrophic Accident)

  • This study evaluated the effect of the accidents caused by fire, explosion, and toxic gas release by using SuperChems, quantitative hazardous material release modeling software, which estimates the potential area of damage. According to the loss severity, the appropriate risk management principles can be applied. Risk management is divided into the two methods which are risk control and risk financing. Risk control includes risk avoidance, risk spreading and diversification, and risk reduction. Risk financing includes risk retention and risk transfer. The results of this study can help the related company determine the appropriate reserve fund and the amount to be insured against the third party losses according to the estimated loss severity.

서울시 폭설위험도 평가방안 (Suggestion of Heavy Snow Risk Analysis in Seoul)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to suggest heavy snow risk analysis in Seoul. METHODS : Recently, the increase of extreme weather caused by global warming raises the occurrences of unpredictable natural disasters and the loss potential of human disasters by land use facilities accumulation. It is necessary to develop the risk analysis for the natural and human disasters. RESULTS : In this study, heavy snow risk analysis among natural disasters in Seoul was suggested. The spatial unit of risk analysis level was established for the lines and administrative districts. CONCLUSIONS : The risk analysis was performed using risk matrix of disaster occurrence score and disaster damage score. The components affecting the risk disaster analysis by types were analyzed and the application of heavy snow risk analysis was suggested.
