The present study attempts to identify the differences in consumer information source, shopping orientation, and store image in the purchase of cosmetics in adult women at the age of 20 or more according to the distributions channels: department stores, specialty stores, discount stores and direct mails. From October 3 to 13, a survey was conducted to 1,200 adult women who visited each channel and who would understand the purpose of this study and complete the questionnaire. 300 sheets were distributed to each of the channels under investigation, and a total of 1,116 questionaaires were used in the final analysis. Using the statistical package, SPSS WIN 10.0, factor analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan's post-hoc test were carried out. The result are as follows: 1. There was a difference in the demographical characteristics of the consumers according to the distribution channels for cosmetics. 2. There was a differen co in the shopping orientations of the consumers according to the distribution channels for cosmetics. 3. There was a difference in the information sources of the consumers according to the distribution channels for cosmetics. 4. There was a difference in the store images perceived by the consumers according to the distribution channels for cosmetics.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of self-paced walking exercises in elderly women with hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hypercholesterolemia. Thirty-eight elderly women with hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hypercholesterolemia (16 hypertension, 11 hyperglycemia, 11 hypercholesterolemia), aged between 65 and 80, were invited to participate in this study. Each subject participated in a self-paced walking exercise five times a week for twelve weeks from 26 June to 16 September 2006. The changes between pre- and post-exercise were analyzed using the analysis of a paired t-test with the SPSS version 12.0 package program. There were significant decreases in systolic blood pressure (p<.01) and diastolic blood pressure (p<.05), blood glucose(p<.05), and cholesterol in the blood (p<.01). These results show that self-paced walking exercises may be helpful in treating elderly women with hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hypercholesterolemia.

As of September 2002, there are more than 60 operational permanent Global Positioning System (GPS) stations in South Korea. Their data are being used for a variety of purposes: geodynamics, geodesy, real-time navigation, atmospheric science, and geography. Especially, many of the sites are reference stations for DGPS (Differential GPS). However, there has been no comprehensive and qualitative analysis published to evaluate the data quality. In this study, we present preliminary results of our assessment of the permanent GPS sites in South Korea. We have analyzed the multi-path characteristics of each station using a quality-checking software package called TEQC. Another multipath analysis tool based on post-fit phase residuals was used to check the repeating patterns and the amount of the multipath at each site. The long-term stability of each station was analyzed using the root-mean-square (RMS) error of the estimated site positions for one year, which enabled us to evaluate the mount stability. In addition, the number of cycle slips at each site was derived by TEQC. Based on these series of tests, we compared the stability and data quality of permanent GPS stations in South Korea.

With the increasing availability of high-performance computing (HPC) platforms, uncertainty quantification (UQ) and sensitivity analyses (SA) can be efficiently leveraged to optimize design parameters of complex engineering problems using modeling and simulation tools. The workflow involved in such studies heavily relies on HPC resources and hence requires pre-processing and post-processing capabilities of large amounts of data along with remote submission capabilities. The NEAMS Workbench addresses all aspects of the workflows involved in these studies by relying on a user-friendly graphical user interface and a python application program interface. This paper highlights the NEAMS Workbench capabilities by presenting a semiautomated coupling scheme between Dakota and any given package integrated with the NEAMS Workbench, yielding a simplified workflow for users. This new capability is demonstrated by running a SA of a turbulent flow in a pipe using the open-source Nek5000 CFD code. A total of 54 jobs were run on a HPC platform using the remote capabilities of the NEAMS Workbench. The results demonstrate that the semiautomated coupling scheme involving Dakota can be efficiently used for UQ and SA while keeping scripting tasks to a minimum for users. All input and output files used in this work are available in https://code.ornl.gov/neams-workbench/dakota-nek5000-study.

This study aims to quantitatively understand the influence of changes in functional cosmetics purchasing sentiment on purchasing behavior and purchase satisfaction after the COVID-19 pandemic and present empirical analysis results regarding the rapidly changing cosmetics consumption market. This study empirically analyzed the structural relationship between non-face-to-face service purchase behavior, functional cosmetics purchase behavior, and functional cosmetics purchase satisfaction to predict purchase behavior of functional cosmetics by psychological characteristics after COVID-19. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 (Statistical Package for Social Science) program and Amos 21.0, and correlation analysis was performed to understand the relationship between consumers' purchasing behaviors of functional cosmetics according to their perception of risk of COVID-19 carried out.Summarizing the results of this study, it was found that the higher the anxiety after the corona outbreak, the higher the non-face-to-face service purchase behavior and the functional cosmetics purchase behavior. It was found that purchase satisfaction increased when purchasing behavior of functional cosmetics increased, but purchase satisfaction decreased as anxiety increased after the outbreak of Corona. In this study, a sample of 1452 people were used as research data, and the theoretical implications for the development of functional cosmetics were presented by confirming the effect of changes in non-face-to-face service purchase behavior according to psychological characteristics after Corona 19 on consumer satisfaction.
Purpose : The aim of this study is to develope the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy(MRS) data processing S/W which plays an important role as a diagnostic tool in clinical field. Materials and methods : Post-processing software of MRS based on graphical user interface(GUI) under windows operating system of personal computer(PC) was developed using MATLAB(Mathwork, U.S.A.). This tool contains many functions to increase the quality of spectrum data such as DC correction, zero filling, line broadening, Gauss-Lorentzian filtering, phase correction, etc. And we obtained the normal human brain $^1H$ MRS data from parietal white matter, basal ganglia and occipital grey matter region using 1.5T Gyroscan ACS-NT R6 (philips, Amsterdam, Netherland) MRS package. The analysis of the MRS peaks were performed by obtaining the ratio of peak area. Results : The peak ratios of NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr, MI/Cr for the different MRS machines have a little different values. But these peak ratios were not significantly different between different echo time MRS peak ratios in the same machine (p<0.05). Conclusion : MRS post-processing S/W based on GUI using PC was developed and applied to the analysis of normal human brain $^1H$ MRS. This independent MRS processing job increases the performance and throughput of patient scan of main console. Finally, we suggest that the database for normal in-yivo human MRS data should be obtained before clinical applications.
A, B and C dilutors were used to make Ka (A plus B (1 : 1)) and Na (B plus C(1 : 1)) dilutors in this experiment. Three aliqots of semen were respectivly diluted 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 (semen: dilutor) with Ka, Na and C dilutors and stored at 5$^{\circ}C$ for 7 days in order to study their livability during storage. Fertility was checked for the diluted semen with Ka, Na and C dilutors. Whole semen and extended semen with Na dilutos with and without DMSO were cold shocked at various temperatures for 10 min. Effects of different 1st and 2nd dilution with A, B, C and Na dilutors and of vessels on freezability of spermatozoa were investigtigated. 1. Extended semen 1 : 2 with Na and C dilutors showed highest live sperm index during storage for 7 days at 5$^{\circ}C$. 2. The components of Na dilutor per 100$m\ell$ were skim milk 2.5g, trisaminomethane 0.54g, citric acid 0.265g, glucose 2.835g, fructose 1.5g, sodium lauryl sulfate, 0.08g, penicillin 0.06g, streptomycin 0.075g, and egg yolk 10$m\ell$. 3. Fertility of diluted semen was higher than that of whole semen. Ka dilutor showed higher fertility than Na and C dilutors, and there was no difference in the fertility between Na and C dilutors. 4. Na dilutor with DMSO showed slightly higher livability than Na dilutor without DMSO during storage for 7 days at 5$^{\circ}C$. 5. Cold shock at 1$0^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. decreased greatly the sperm livalility of whole semen but not of extended semen with Na dilutor. Addition of DMSO to Na dilutor has no effect in prevention of cold shock. 6. The extended semen with C. C dilutor (1st and 2nd dilution with C and C dilutor) showed higher post-thawing sperm livability than A.A and Na. B dilutors. Na. B dilution shwed higher post-thawing sperm livability than A.A dilution. There was no difference in the post-thawing livability between semen in 1$m\ell$ straw and 10$m\ell$ aluminium package.
The study was performed to elucidate the effects of ethylene-absorbent on the quality of 'Fuyu' persimmon fruits in the MA package. Five persimmons were packed in a MA package film (low density polyethylene, 0.055 mm film thickness), and stored at $-0.5^{\circ}C$ for 60 days. Two persimmons were repacked in a MA package with or without ethylene absorbent $(1\;M\;KMnO_4+zeolite)$ and stored at $-0.5^{\circ}C$. Ten days later, these packages was moved to $2^{\circ}C$ or $25^{\circ}C$ storage room to examine the effect of the ethylene-absorbent on the quality of the fruits. Ethylene removal by enclosed ethylene absorbent in MA packaging reduced the rate of fruit respiration at $25^{\circ}C$, so that $O_2$ and $CO_2$ concentration in packing were maintained higher and lower, respectively, compared to control. These effects were not observed, however, in $2^{\circ}C$ post-storage. Fruit firmness and sugar composition were also influenced by ethylene absorbent, showing more delayed flesh softening and higher sucrose concentration in ethylene absorbent treated fruits than control. But ethylene-absorbent treatment lowered glucose and fructose concentration. That shows that ethylene could influence on sugar composition by inhibiting sucrose inversion to glucose and fructose. The production of ethanol and acetaldehyde was reduced by ethylene removal, but the effect was not so high as other quality indices.
In 2013 a new era for EU patent law system was launched. The creation of the EU patent with unitary effect and the establishment of the Unified Patent Court established a new legal framework on substantive patent protection and patent litigation in Europe. This year the EU Patent Package would become a reality. It includes a regulation on a unitary patent, a regulation on the translation regime and an international Agreement on the Unitary Patent Court. In contrast to the classical European patent, the post-grant life of unitary patent will be governed by the newly created unified patent court and it will have unitary effect. In this article, I highlight the effect of the unitary patent and the jurisdiction of the unified patent court over unitary patents (and 'traditional' patents granted under the EPC that are not opted-out) for actions in relation to patent infringement or to revocation of a European patent and to licences of right. This article explores on the one hand the relation between national patent, the classical European patent and EU patent with unitary effect and on the other hand the relation of unified patent court to the Brussels $I^{bis}$ Regulation. Particular attention is paid to the institutional changes created by the unitary patent package abd the new supplementary forum that enables the UPC to hear disputes involving defendants from third States that relate to an infringement of a European patent and give rise to damage inside as well as outside the Union. Furthermore on the perspective North-east Asia this essay examines the lessons from the experiences of EU patent package.
