Effects of Brand Knowledge and Affect on Brand Choice Confidence of Global Fashion Brands -Moderation Effect of Overseas Residence Experience- (브랜드 지식과 감정이 글로벌 패션 브랜드 선택 확신에 미치는 영향 -해외 거주 경험의 조절 효과-)

  • This study examines how the overseas residence experience of Korean consumers influences the relationship of global fashion brand knowledge and brand choice confidence. We contrast two kinds of consumer brand knowledge, using the concepts of Alba and Hutchinson's expertise and familiarity. Considering the effect of positive affect on intuitive information processing, the present study investigated the role of positive affect in consumer brand knowledge and brand choice confidence link. The proposed model was tested with structural-equation analysis. The results show that expertise and familiarity effect the positive affect. Positive affect, in turn, influences brand choice confidence. The results indicate that the processes underlying global fashion brand knowledge and brand choice confidence link are different between the consumers with overseas residence experience for more than a year and the consumers without it. The route from expertise to positive affect has a significant impact on the consumers with overseas residence experience but not on the consumers without it; however, the route from familiarity to positive affect and the path from positive affect to brand choice confidence have a greater impact on the consumers without overseas residence experience than the consumers with it. We find that the consumers with overseas residence experience favor expertise in the process underlying global fashion brand knowledge and brand choice confidence link, whereas the consumers without it favor familiarity and affect based thought.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. And this study indicates how positive emotion affects the relationship between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. The results from this study are as follows: First, leisure experience influenced significantly the positive emotion, the positive emotion was giving positive affection to job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior. Second, positive emotion mediated between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. This study was giving us implications that positive emotion from leisure experience is more important than leisure activities themselves when we plan 'fun management'.

Research on the Influence of Curiosity on MMORPG Grinding Player Experience

  • In MMORPGs, there are many problems with the Grinding player experience. This research divides the Grinding player experience into four dimensions: Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence, Relatedness and Positive affect through theoretical investigation of game experience. Through the study of Litman (2008), Curiosity is divided into two dimensions, I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, and the relationship between Curiosity and Grinding player experience is studied. By distributing questionnaires, collecting data, and using SPSS software to conduct reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on the data, it is verified that in MMORPG, I-Type Curiosity can positively affect Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence, Relatedness and Positive affect. D-Type Curiosity can positively affect Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence and Positive affect, but D-Type Curiosity has no statistical relationship with Grinding in-Relatedness. And through the standardized coefficient (Beta) value, between the Curiosity factors, I-Type Curiosity has a greater impact on Grinding in-Autonomy and Positive affect, and D-Type Curiosity has a greater impact on Grinding in-Competence. Finally, from the perspective of I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, combined with the drawbacks of the MMORPG Gringding mechanism, some concrete and feasible suggestions and optimization schemes are put forward to improve the Grinding player experience. This research result can provide some feasible suggestions for MMORPG developers and designers, optimize the MMORPG Grinding mechanism from the perspective of I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, and improve the Grinding player experience. It can provide appropriate assistance for the improved development of MMORPG games.

The Effect of the Experience Clue of Chatbot Service in E-Commerce on Customer Experience and Trust (이커머스 챗봇서비스의 경험 단서가 고객경험과 신뢰에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the experience cues of chatbot services provided to existing customers familiar with the e-commerce environment, and to examine the effect of chatbot service's experience cues on customer experience and chatbot trust. Design/methodology/approach This study was conducted on consumers who experienced chatbot services in an e-commerce environment, the final 299 copies of valid data were obtained, and the research hypothesis was verified using PLS as a structural equation model. Findings As a result of the analysis, it was found that functional cues that cause customer experiences using chatbot services had a positive effect on cognitive and emotional experiences, human cues had a positive effect on cognitive, emotional and relational experiences, and customer experiences had a positive effect on chatbot trust.

The Moderating Effects of Cobranding Promotions between Brand Experience and Loyalty

  • Purpose - This study was aimed to investigate the moderating effects of cobranding promotions that are rare in brand experience and brand loyalty studies, and to find out cobranding promotions can play a moderating role to enhance positive effects on the relationship between brand experience and brand loyalty, and to figure out the cobranding types which can lead to positive brand loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - The conceptual research model was developed to explain the effects, and 2018 Interbrand's global top 15 brands such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung were suggested to be selected from 377 Amazon Mechanical Turk respondents to answer the 22 survey questions made by Qualtrics with 5-point Likert scale. Results - In this research, the moderating effects of cobranding have been confirmed on the relationships between brand experience and loyalty, and the positive cobranding promotions can have significant effects on the relationships, but only for the least experienced brand was significant. Regarding to cobranding types, there were no significant ones to enhance brand loyalty. Conclusions - The findings confirmed that cobranding promotion experience can play a positive moderating role to brand loyalty, and the loyalty can be maximized if companies can provide positive cobranding experiences to their own consumers.

A Study on the Viewing Experience and Performance of Professional Baseball Team: The Team Performance Side and the Fan Performance Side

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship among fan experience, fan satisfaction, team attachment, psychological well-being, team loyalty and quality of life. Specifically, the structural equation model is analyzed for the team performance side leading to fan experience-fan satisfaction-team attachment-team loyalty and the an performance side leading to fan experience-fan satisfaction-psychological well-being-quality of life. The survey to achieve the goal of this study is a professional baseball fan. 150 pilot envestigation and 348 main envestigation were selected as the final effective samples. Data processing was done with SPSS 23 for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis. Also, AMOS 21 was used for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, fan experience had a positive effect on the fan satisfaction. Second, fan satisfaction had a positive effect on the team attachment. Third, fan satisfaction had a positive effect on the psychological well-being. Fourth, team attachment had a positive effect on theteam loyalty. Fifth, psychological well-being had a positive effect on the quality of life.

Attitudes of Nursing Educators Toward Percussional Nursing (간호학 교수들의 간호전문직에 대한 태도 조사연구)

  • This study of nurse educator's attitudes which found aspects of professional nursing was carried out from September 10 to 30, 1977. Subjects were 205 respondents from a total population of 314 nurse educators from the level of instructors to professors in all the diploma (post high school 3 year), professional junior college (3 year level) and university (4 year) nursing schools in Korea. Specific objectives were to determine their attitudes about the 1. social position of nursing as a profession, 2. nurses attitudes towards their word, 3. factors influencing the development of nursing, 4. the future of nursing, 5. nursing educational problems, 6. their own educational position's intrinsic job satisfaction and 7. their salary and benefits. The instrument used was a questionnaire developed from consultations with nursing educators and sociologists, and based on earlier. worts by Burke (1976), Mason (1974) and Hong 1969. Data were analysis by computer using one-way analysis. Statistically significant findings included the following; 1. Responses were positive toward all seven aspects of professional nursing. 2. Compared to diploma nursing school staff whose responses were positive, professional and university school faculty response toward the social position of nursing were neutral. 3. Faculty with clinical experience of 10 to 19 years were most positive in their responses about nurses' attitudes towards their work. In all three types of schools, in comparison to professors, associate professors' responses were more positive about nurses' attitudes toward their work. Faculty with longer clinical experience expressed high agreement with statements about factors which influence the development of nursing. Without any differences between school, all faculty had positive attitudes towards the future of nursing, the younger the staff member, the more positive were the responses. 4. faculty in diploma schools and those with 10 to 19 years clinical experience expressed high agreement with statement about nursing educational problems, 6. their own educational position's intrinsic job satisfaction and 7. their salary and benefits.   • The interest and participation of the rural experience is increasing as an alternative for the problems such as the decrease of the agricultural income facing the agriculture and the rural area, the decrease of the population, and the regional stagnation. The rural experience has recently been transformed into a software dimension such as programs and participation activities in the past. In addition, public awareness also positively evaluates agriculture and rural communities as the basis for supporting society and recognition of multiple functions. Furthermore, the intention of the citizen to the earnest village is increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of rural experience and customer satisfaction of urban residents on the recognition of return to farm and rural areas. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the characteristics of rural experience had a positive effect on the farming villages by the program, the experience field and the host, and the customer satisfaction had a positive effect on the farming villages. Therefore, it is considered that a systematic approach to the rural experience is needed in the future because the experience of the rural people in the city has a positive effect on the earliest villages.

The Changes in Interest and Attitudes of Nursing Students toward the Disabled before and after the Disability Experience Program (간호학생의 장애체험이 장애인에 대한 관심 및 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • Introduction: The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in the concern and attitudes of Nursing students toward the disabled before and after the disability experience program. Method: 151 Nursing students with clinical practice in National rehabilitation hospital were conveniently selected as the subject. All subjects had experience the disability program, and their attitudes toward the disabled were measured before and after the 3hours' program. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS 11.0 with paired t-test. Results: 1. The concern toward the disabled after their disability experience program was more positive than before(t=-4.930, p=.000). 2. The attitudes toward the disabled after their disability experience program was more positive than before(t=5.892, p=.000). 3. The appreciation of daily life after their disability experience program was higher than before(t=-8.563, p= .000). Conclusion: In summary, the disability experience program should be effective in order to promote the positive attitude toward the disabled. Therefore expansion of this program is of profound significant.

Moderating Effects of Mindset Types on the Relationship Between Experience and Perceived Quality in VR Contexts

  • Purpose: This study investigates the moderating effect of mindset types on experience and perceived quality in virtual reality (VR) contexts and identify the relationships among mindset types, experience, perceived quality, attitude, and purchase. Research design, data and methodology: Using a survey, a total of 250 participants were recruited from South Korea. Participants were asked whether they have been VR users who had experienced VR before participating in the survey. We used the partial least squares method to test the hypotheses based on structural equation modeling. Results: The results show that experience, including spatial, reality, and sensory experiences, has positive effects on perceived quality. Additionally, the mindset moderates the relationship between experience and perceived quality such that consumers with experience are more likely to have greater perceived quality when they have a growth mindset compared to those with a fixed mindset. The VR context's perceived quality exerts positive effects on attitude toward the VR context, while attitude has positive effects on purchase intention. Conclusion: We suggest that the consumer's mindset might work as an essential moderating factor that influences the relationship between experience and perceived quality. Our findings can help marketers plan promotion strategies more effectively and cater to the different objectives of their contexts.
