항공사의 브랜드 증거가 브랜드 가치, 브랜드 신뢰, 브랜드 태도 및 구전 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Airline Brand Evidence on Brand Value, Brand Trust, Brand Attitude, and Word-of-mouth Intention)

  • 본 연구는 항공시장의 소비자인 승객들이 인지하는 항공사의 다양한 브랜드 증거가 브랜드 가치와 브랜드 신뢰, 브랜드 태도 및 구전 의도에 미치는 영향에 관하여 분석하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구를 토대로 연구모형과 가설을 수립하였으며, 222명의 항공여행 및 항공사 이용을 경험한 승객들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 항공사의 브랜드 증거의 하위요인이 브랜드 가치에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면 종사자 서비스를 제외한 지각된 가격, 핵심 서비스, 브랜드명, 브랜드 로고는 브랜드 가치에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 브랜드 가치는 브랜드 신뢰와 브랜드 태도에 유의한 긍정적인 영향을 나타냈다. 그리고 브랜드 신뢰는 브랜드 태도, 브랜드 태도는 구전 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 브랜드 증거의 하위요인으로 브랜드 로고를 추가하여 확장된 범위를 살펴보았지만 향후 브랜드 감정 등의 변수를 포함하여 확장된 연구하는 것이 필요하다 여겨진다.

The Perception and Visiting Intention on Word-of-Mouth Information of Beauty Shop - Comparisons of Female College Students and Adult Women -

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare visiting intentions by positive and negative Word-of-Mouth (WOM) and/or information of beauty shop between female college students and adult women. Data were collected from 500 consumers (250 from female students and 250 adult women) and was analyzed by using frequencies, factor analysis, t-tests and multiple regression utilizing SPSS/PC+. The findings revealed positive experience factors to prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, kindness/operating system in waiting time, added services, employees' attitudes, excellent beauty and response skill, rational price and recall system/remind for customer. The negative experiences were inconsistent service, operators' convenient service, irrational price/poor skill/non-recall, non-customer central service, inappropriate face-to-face management to customer. Also, the results showed that the positive WOM information such as prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, excellent beauty and response skill and rational price had influence on the visiting intention in case of female college students. The negative WOM information like non-customer central service, had influence on the visiting intention in cases of adult women.

온라인 시장에서 소셜미디어가 소비자 행동에 미치는 영향 비교분석 (Comparative Analyses of Social Media on Its Impacts on Consumer Behavior in On-line Markets)

  • Purpose - One of the main objectives of this paper is to identify the most effective type of social media and to analyze the priority of blogs by their informational attributes in the aspect of their impacts on word-of-mouth intention(WOM) in on-line markets. Research design, data, and methodology - We set 'attitude' variable in the middle to see if there is mediating effects between blog information and word-of-mouth intention. We conducted a survey by questionnaire and received 206 answers. Employing the OLS statistical methods through the SPSS package, we tested our hypotheses. Results - Some of the main results are the followings. First, blog, micro-blog, and profile-based services showed significant effects on WOM, while Internet community and mini-homepages are not significant. Second, blog has positive impacts on WOM. Third, attitude has perfect mediating effects between blog and WOM. Fourth, in terms of effects on WOM, interactivity shows the first priority and reliability and usability follows. Finally, attitude has a more significant effect for users of 3 types of blog compared with those of 2 types. Conclusions - In this paper, we analyzed the effects of social network services by type and identified the priority among various attributes of information contained in blogs. It would provide businesses with viable strategic options to establish public relations in their sales promotion.

개봉 전후 트윗 개수의 증감률과 영화 매출간의 상관관계 (A Study of Correlation Analysis between Increase / Decrease Rate of Tweets Before and After Opening and a Box Office Gross)

  • Predicting a box office gross in the film industry is an important goal. Many works have analyzed the elements of a film making. Previous studies have suggested several methods for predicting box office such as a model for distinguishing people's reactions by using a sentiment analysis, a study on the period of influence of word-of-mouth effect through SNS. These works discover that a word of mouth (WOM) effect through SNS influences customers' choice of movies. Therefore, this study analyzes correlations between a box office gross and a ratio of people reaction to a certain movie by extracting their feedback on the film from before and after of the film opening. In this work, people's reactions to the movie are categorized into positive, neutral, and negative opinions by employing sentiment analysis. In order to proceed the research analyses in this work, North American tweets are collected between March 2011 and August 2012. There is no correlation for each analysis that has been conducted in this work, hereby rate of tweets before and after opening of movies does not have relationship between a box office gross.

The Effect of Service Quality and Product Diversity on Customer Loyalty: The Role of Customer Satisfaction and Word of Mouth

  • Batik industry is a business activity oriented towards customer loyalty and is demanded to show an increasing diversity of products with various motives designed to prevent customers from moving to other companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical approach in solving problems in the relationship between service quality and product diversity on satisfaction and word of mouth (WoM) and its impact on customer loyalty. Furthermore, this study also examined the mediating effects of satisfaction and WoM in the relationship between service quality and product diversity on customer loyalty. This research's object took the customers of Batik Semarangan Craftwork, Indonesia, with the phenomenon of always developing creative and innovative Batik motif designs that can be accepted by the market without leaving Semarang's uniqueness. The total sample was 98 customers. The results of the study showed that service quality and product diversity positively affected satisfaction and WoM and had a positive effect on customer loyalty. Besides, satisfaction and WoM had a mediating effect on the effect of service quality and product diversity on loyalty. Thus, it is essential for management to create and increase customer loyalty by paying attention to service quality, product diversity, satisfaction, and WoM.

The Contrasting Attitudes of Reviewer and Seller in Electronic Word-of-Mouth: A Communicative Action Theory Perspective

  • This study draws important factors in electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) and examines how these influence the building of customer loyalty. eWOM is viewed as social communication between customers and sellers, and thus the communicative action theory is applied. With the theory, we identify reviewer and seller as influential players on customers, and derive important factors such as correctness and veracity of reviews from the reviewers' action, and information compactness and adequacy from the seller's action. We propose these constructs as antecedents of customer loyalty and further hypothesize their curvilinear impacts as follows: the marginal impacts of veracity and correctness will decrease as veracity and correctness increase, and the marginal impacts of compactness and adequacy will increase as compactness and adequacy increase. The result indicates that only the seller's action has a curvilinear impact, whereas the reviewer has proportional positive impact on customer loyalty. This study indentifies important factors in eWOM from a critical social theory perspective and validates them using the positivistic approach. For practitioners, it discusses the important factors in eWOM with the identification of the individuals who are responsible for these factors.

  • Referral marketing plays an important role in promoting new products. When it comes to innovative agricultural products, early adopter's review or recommendation has a more critical impact on follower's purchase decision making. Hence, understanding of consumer's characteristics and needs play more important role in success of innovation. More particularly, other researchers pay attention to the role of consumer innovativeness. This study attempts to fill this gap in knowledge between innovative propensity of consumer and her/his intention to generate positive word of mouth about new agricultural products. Furthermore, in this paper, we adopt Vandecasteele and Geunes' motivated consumer innovativeness model to investigate consumer innovativeness in extrinsic motive and intrinsic motive level, and examine the moderating role of referral efficacy. For empirical verification, survey method is used for data collection. Partial least square (PLS) is adopted to analyze the data. Finally, several theoretical contributions and practical implications are discussed.

외식업소에 대한 구전 메시지 발신자 신뢰도와 구전효과의 상관성 분석 (A Correlation Analysis between Word-of Mouth Message Sender Credibility and WOM Effect)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the correlation between Word-of-Mouth(WOM) message sender credibility and WOM effect and 2) to analyze the differences of WOM message sender creadibility and WOM effect in off-line and on-line WOM communication. The messages were created as a form of scenario for this study. Respondents were asked to evaluate the message sender credibility and predict WOM behaviors after reading given scenario. The questionnaires were distributed to 200 customers and a total of 175 questionnaires were used for analysis(87.5%). The statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS Win(12.0) for descriptive analysis, paired t-test, factor analysis, correlation analysis. The positive off-line WOM message sender was considered as more credible(p<.001) than on-line WOM message sender. 'Message sender credibility' is correlated with 'attitude formation' in both channels, but 'reliable' factor of 'credibility' variable is not significantly correlated with 'attitude change'.

관광 SNS 정보 특성과 사회적 자본이 몰입을 통해 구전의도에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study of the Characteristics of Tourism SNS Information and the Influence of Social Capital on the word of Mouth Intention Through the Immersion)

  • SNS 정보 특성의 하위요인인(정보품질, 정보신뢰성)과 사회적 자본(연결형)이 몰입을 통해 구전의도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고, 도출된 결과를 이용하여 관광산업의 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 19세 이상의 성인 326명을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, SNS 활용의 하위요인인(정보품질, 정보신뢰성)이 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 몰입은 구전의도에 유의한 영향관계가 성립됨을 검증하였다. 셋째, 사회적 자본(연결형)이 몰입과 구전의도에 긍정적인 영향관계가 성립됨을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 기초로 하여 관광산업 분야에서 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)를 성공적인 관광콘텐츠 개발 및 마케팅 전략 수립에 활용하여 효율적인 관광 상품의 정보를 제공함으로써 미래의 잠재관광 고객 유치에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 관광산업에 실무적인 적용에 도움이 되고자 함에 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

약선음식의 온라인 구전, 가치, 만족, 애호도 및 대중화 간의 구조관계 분석 (The Structural Relationship between On-line Word of Mouth, Value, Satisfaction, Loyalty and Popularization of Yaksun Food)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 구전커뮤니케이션 특성(전문성, 적시성, 정확성)이 약선 음식에 대한 가치, 만족, 애호도, 대중화 간에 어느 정도의 영향관계가 있는 지를 알아보고, 온라인을 통한 약선 음식 대중화에 기여하고자 하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 약선 음식 온라인 구전 커뮤니케이션 특성 중 전문성, 적시성이 약선 음식 가치와 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 약선 음식 가치는 만족, 대중화에는 영향을 미쳤고, 애호도는 대중화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 종합해 보면 약선 음식에 대한 온라인 구전 커뮤니케이션의 전문성과 적시성이 강조될 때 가치와 만족에 많은 영향을 주는 것으로 판단되며, 가치 있는 정보야말로 고객이 만족하고 애호도가 높아짐으로써 대중화가 이루어질 수 있다고 판단된다. 특히 약선 음식 조리인이 식자재의 성질과 음용방법을 잘 알고 있어야 함으로, 블로그 운영자들이나 약선 음식 전문점에서는 약선 음식 대한 내용을 게시할 때 식재료의 효능에 대한 전문적인 내용을 기술하여야만 대중화가 이루어질 것이라 사료되며, 향후 건강한 식생활을 정착하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 약선에 대한 전문적인 지식에 대한 다양한 교육과 홍보 및 적극적인 관심이 요구된다고 판단된다. 특히 본 연구 결과, 음식의 기능을 살린 약선 음식 전문적인 내용은 온라인 구전으로 인하여 소비자들로 하여금 약선에 대한 정보를 좀 더 정확하게 알 수 있을 것이며, 건강에 대한 생각과 함께 대중에게 널리 알려질 것이라 여겨진다. 이상의 연구의 요약 및 결과에서 이미 제시되어 있는 바와 같이 본 연구에 적용되고 있는 투입변수들 간의 상관관계는 매우 높은 것으로 분석되어졌다.
