Western classical singing voices are different from those of pop song singer's singing voices as well as traditional Korean singing such as Pansori. We anlalysed the singing voices from three different categories with using free application programs available at the usual smart phones : sound level meter and Spectral View Analyzer and fiberoptic rhinolaryngoscopic evaluation. The intensity of voice produced by a classical western singer was 11 dB louder than that produced by a pop song singer. Source sound, glottic sound, as well as harmonic sound and singing resonant sound (Singer's formant) are much more prominent. When evaluated under video-rhinolaryngoscopy during singing, the resonance cavity especially oropharyngeal cavity and hypopharyngeal cavity are widely opened during singing of the western classical singer than those of the traditional Korean singer's singing. Difference of singing methods including producing the glottal sound, respiration and resonance are discussed. Possible explanation of development of 'Singer's Formant' is discussed.

Our report refers to occidental vocal techniques from Greece until today. It is remarkable that even with poor anatomy knowledge, there were advices on styles given from very early periods, for both church and secular singing. During the 18th century, the names of "vox pectoris", "vox guturris" and "vox capitis" appear, nominations that somehow remain nowadays with great confusion about source of sound production and results of resonance. Vocal occidental styles developed different kinds of requirements from the singers, that had to adapt their vocal Possibilities to them. The same happened with "pop" song. Nowadays, all kinds of singers must have a conscious knowledge of its voice management to prevent vocal disturbances. We consider that the technique is the same, even when the singer has to sing Wagner, Debussy, Sconberg, Piazzola or Gershwin. The big changes occured at resonance levels, and because these different use of the vocal resonators the effects are quite different. In summary, the big differences on classical the effects are quite different. In summary, the big differences on classical and pop song are done on the different use of the resonators and its effects on the vocal tract. "Pop" singers, men and women, should be taught to use both registers, "modal" and "falsetto" to be able to reach the complete range of their songs without any harm to their larynxes. In our opinion, a good singing technique means that it could be adapted to every stylistic need. The same technique is adapted to the popular singer as well. The main difference lays on the use of resonators, pretty strong in the classic singer, weaken in the popular singer, on the volume and on the total extension of the voice. Breathing control, effortless emission and the use of "passage" at the right point should be taught to all singers, regardless of their style. (omitted)

Pop singers frequently use breathy voice to express diverse emotion. Such method is the major factor that divides vocalization in pop and classical music. Using breathy voice too much for a long time could make singer short-winded, which might cause the voice injured. In order to prevent the problem, singers need to find resonance balance between high notes and low notes and among vowels. Moreover, they should take more attention when producing resonance in consonants with much air flow. Along with finding resonance balance, if skilled at controlling the volume of voice, singers can use the breathy voice selectively at the desired part, adjusting close quotient freely. Through this kind of approach, pop singers can develope their unique style of vocalization and avoid the vocal damage.

현재 우리가 듣고 즐기는 대중음악의 거의 대부분은 외국의 팝음악에서 비롯된 것 들 있다. 따라서 역사가 짧을뿐더러 그 분야에 대한 연구도 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 특히 가수들의 창법 즉 호흡이나 발성과 관련된 부분은 국악의 창과 성악 발성의 중간에서 그 어느 부분에도 속하지 않는 어중간한 상태에 놓여 있었다. 팝음악이 국내에 들어오면서 우리와는 체격조건이 다른 그들의 노래를 부르기 위해 가수들은 부단히 애를 써야 했으며, 많은 시행착오를 겪었다. 때론 무리한 발성으로 인해 성대가 손상되는 경우도 비일비재 하였다. 가수 조용필은 자신의 한계를 극복하여 가창력을 최대화 시킬 수 있는 해법을 우리의 국악에서 찾았다. 그 대표적인곡이 바로 "창밖의 여자" 인데 이 노래는 조용필의 최고의 히트곡이자 가요발성에 있어 새로운 전환점을 만들어준 곡이다. 본 연구에서는 당시의 시대적, 음악적인 배경 등을 통해 가요계의 전반적인 상황이 어떠했는지를 파악하여 왜 그 노래가 당시엔 획기적인 창법이었는지 그 이유를 제시해 보고자 한다. 또한 "창밖의 여자" 의 곡의 흐름과 감정처리 방법, 테크닉 등을 분석해 봄으로써 호흡과 발성이 어떻게 이루어지고 표현되었는지를 연구해 보도록 하겠다.

근래, TV 방송의 지상파와 케이블 방송 등에서 가창력 평가를 통한 엔터테인먼트 프로그램이 대단히 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 그러나 높은 인기에도 불구하고 현재의 가창력을 포함한 음악적 공감대 평가방법은 청중 평가단의 정성적 느낌 평가에 절대적으로 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 이 같은 정성적 느낌을 정량적인 지표로 객관화하기 위한 방법의 제시가 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야에서 중요한 이슈가 되었고 또 더 나아가 사회의 요구사항이 된 실정이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 ICT 기술을 적용하여 대중 가수들 및 음악적 공감대를 평가 받아야 하는 분야에 있어 이를 시각적, 정량적으로 평가 할 수 있는 기술적 방법론에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

Adopting the theory of enter-educate, this study was conducted to prevent the smoking by middle school students who had not started smoking yet. A famous pop music singer with high popularity among teenagers was cast on the public sponsored advertisement (PSA) on smoking prevention. This PSA was televised through major TV stations for two months. The effectiveness of this project was evaluated seven times. The effectiveness of the PSA, the role of the cast singer, the rate of seeing the PSA, and the impression about the PSA were evaluated. The viewer survey since the second period of the PSA revealed that most of the middle school students (79~94 percent) watched it. Among TV stations, MBC recorded the highest viewer rate as 69.6~72.0 percent of the middle school students watched the PSA at least once from this station. Also, the viewer rates of such cable TV stations as Mnet and OCN were quite high for their advertisement prices. The overall impression about the PSA was favorable. The contribution of the singer to this positive outcome was 60 percent and over. The effect of smoking prevention was also high as 93.7 percent of the middle school students replied that they would not start smoking. However, since this study dealt with the general public, it was not possible to control the effect of other factors systematically. Also, we could not measure the differences bewteen the pre-PSA and the post-PSA periods, so that the interpretation of the results has some limitation.

성악인, 무대예술인, 교사 등 음성직업인에 빈발하는 성대결절에 의한 음성장애는 공포의 대상이 될 뿐 아니라 수술적 제거에도 많은 신경을 쓰게 된다. 성대결절 수술제거의 적응을 결정하기에 앞서 음성치료의 일환으로 저작법을 시행하여 좋은 성과를 얻는 경우가 있다. 최근 성대결절 환자인 성악인 두명(남녀가 1명)과 교사 1명에게 저작법을 시행하여 좋은 효과를 얻었기에 문헌적 고찰과 아울러 보고하는 바이다.

This study aims at providing comprehensive data which would be helpful to establish a web shopping mall by analyzing the structure of web fashion star shops which have recently emerged as a result of advances in digital technology and communication. For the purpose of analyzing VMD strategy used in web fashion star shop, we adopt both of the documental and empirical research methods, based on which we examine the concept of E-commerce and current business situation of web fashion star shop industry, and then analyze the main page, product category page and product detail page in a star shop featured by a male pop star within a web shopping mall. According to our analysis of the structure of web fashion star shop, in case of open market, a banner with star's image on it leads to star shop when people click on the link of the banner, and in case of independent mall, they show each star's unique style in the main page. Product category page is linked to each product detail page which presents items of various fashion coordinates, satisfying needs of consumers to follow star's trendy fashion sense.

본 연구는 짧은 동영상 플랫폼 틱톡에서 중국인 인플루언서들이 한국 K-pop 노래와 댄스를 어떠한 방식으로 재창작하며, 어떠한 변형요소들이 틱톡 수용자들의 반응 - '좋아요수', '댓글수', '공유수'에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보기 위해 틱톡 K-pop 커버영상 284개를 K-pop 원곡과 비교하여 이미지와 언어 유사성, 수용자 참여 유도 정도, 중국어로 가사/자막 번역된 정도, 유료광고 노출 여부를 분석하였고 추가로 영상길이, 인플루언서 명성 요인을 분석하여 변형요인과 함께 수용자 반응에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상대적으로 수동적인 수용자 반응으로 판단되는 '좋아요수'에는 인플루언서의 명성만 유의한 영향을 보였지만, 보다 능동적인 반응으로 판단되는 '댓글수'와 '공유수'에는 재창작으로 활용한 변형요소들이 유의미한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 수용자는 인플루언서가 이미지 측면에서 가수와 닮지 않다고 인식될수록 댓글을 더 많이 달아주며, 중국어로 번역된 가사나 자막보다 한국어로 표현한 것이 댓글과 공유를 더 많이 만들어내었다. 본 연구는 짧은 동영상을 활용한 K-pop 콘텐츠의 해외 확산에 있어 로컬 인플루언서들에 의해 재창작되는 K-pop 콘텐츠의 특성에 따른 수용자 반응을 구체적으로 분석함으로서, K-pop 확산을 위한 인플루언서들의 역할의 필요성을 확인하였다는 데 의미가 있다.

많은 대중들은 가수 신해철에 대해 음악프로듀서, 싱어송라이터, 작곡가 등 다양한 음악적 활동을 했던 뮤지션으로 알고 있다. 그러나 그는 그 외에도 각종 대중매체에 다 방면으로 활발한 활동을 했던 전 방위적인 엔터테이너이기도 하다. 그의 음악적인 성향은 매우 진보적이며, 다양한 시도와 실험적인 퓨전 스타일의 음악을 지향한다. 그의 앨범 중 '모노크롬'은 독특한 테크노 음악과 전통음악을 접목한 결과물로 새로운 사운드를 향한 음악적인 가치와 의미에서 한국대중음악의 수준을 한 차원 끌어 올렸다는 평가를 받고 있다. 본 앨범에서 국악의 비중은 매우 높다. 꽹과리, 장구, 징 등 사물놀이 전통악기뿐만 아니라, 대금, 태평소, 품바, 타령 등을 사용, 기존 국악과의 협업을 통해 보다 진보된 확장성 있는 크로스오버 음악을 보여주고 있다. 현재 'K-Pop'이 세계적인 음악으로 계속 사랑받기 위해서는 음악적인 확장성을 기반을 둔 새로운 시도가 무엇보다 필요하다고 본다. 그렇기 때문에 모노크롬 앨범에서처럼 국악을 음악적 기재(器財)로 사용한다면, 차별성을 둔 우리만의 음악을 만들 수 있으며, 그로 인해 세계적으로 높은 'K-Pop'의 관심도 지속될 수 있을 것이라고 생각한다.
