본 연구는 장기요양보험급여를 받고 있는 도시지역 노인들의 장기요양등급에 따른 우울수준을 파악해 보고, 우울수준에 관련된 요인을 규명해 보고자 시도하였다. 조사대상은 대전광역시 5개구에서 장기요양보험급여를 받고 있는 노인 338명을 대상으로 하였다. 조사는 2012년 3월 1일부터 5월 31일까지의 기간 동안에 표준화된 무기명식 면접조사용 설문지를 사용하여 면접조사 하였다. 연구결과, 조사대상자의 CES-D에 의한 우울수준은 정상군(CES-D 21점미만)이 21.6%, 우울군(CES-D 21점 이상)이 78.4%이었다. 장기요양등급에 따른 우울군(CES-D 21점 이상)의 분포는 장기요양 1등급에서 83.6%, 2등급에서 82.1%, 3등급에서 67.0%로 장기요양 등급이 높을수록 우울군의 분포도 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 우울 수준과 제 요인과의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 다중로지스틱회귀분석 결과 우울수준에 대한 교차비는 65-74세 연령군보다 75세이상 연령군에서, 주관적인 건강상태가 좋다는 군보다 좋지 않다는 군에서, 취미활동을 자주한다는 군보다 거의하지 않는다는 군에서 유의하게 증가하였으며, 월수입 50만원 이하군보다 50만원 이상 군에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 이 같은 결과는 우울에 관련된 요인이 개인의 기본 속성, 경제 상태, 신체의 건강상태나 활동성 등의 다양한 요인과 관련성이 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

1989년 1월부터 1995년 5월까지 영남대학교 의과대학 부속병원 정형외과에서 발달성 고관절 탈구로 진단된 9개월-3세 환자중 치료후 1년이상 추시가 가능했던 환자 16명(17례)을 대상으로 치료결과를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 진단시의 연령은 16.4개월 (9-31개월)이었으며, 8례에서 보존적 치료, 4례에서 수술적 치료를 시행하였으며, 5례에서 보존적 치료에 실패하여 2차로 수술을 시행하였다. 2. Severin의 radiologic grade에 의한 결과는 보존적 치료에서 우수 4례, 양호 3례, 불량 1례, 수술적 치료에서는 양호 2례, 불량 2례이었으며 보존적 치료에 실패하여 2차로 수술적 치료를 받은 경우는 우수 2례， 양호 2례, 불량 1례이었다. 3 합병증으로 무혈성 괴사 3례가 관찰되었다. 4. 고관절 조영술상 도수정복의 정도가 우수(good)인 경우는 보존적 치료를 시행하여 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, 불량(poor)인 경우는 도수정복보다는 수술적 치료를 시행하는 것이 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있다고 사료된다. 이상의 결과 보행기 연령군의 치료방법의 선택에는 정복시 안정성의 유무, 탈구의 정도, 고관절 조영술상 도수정복의 정도가 중요한 것으로 사료되며, 도수정복은 안정대가 넓고, 정복시 안정성이 있는 경우, 탈구의 정도가 심하지 않고 고관절 조영술상 도수정복의 정도가 우수인 경우에 시행한다면 만족스러운 치료결과를 얻을 수 있으며, 안정대가 좁고, 도수정복시 불안정성이 있는 경우, 탈구의 정도가 심하고 고관절 조영술상 도수정복의 정도가 불량인 경우는 수술적 치료를 시행하는 것이 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있다고 사료된다.

Previous reports have shown that Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) can be used to assess physical and chemical properties of flax fibre and fabric quality. Currently, spinners assess yarn quality mainly based on strength and regularity measurements. There two key characteristics are influenced by quality of raw fibres used, especially the degree of rotting and strength. The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the use of NIRS for assessing quality of weft grade yarn available on the commercial market. In order to develop the NIR calibrations, a range of samples representing poor, medium and good quality weft yarn samples was included in the calibration and validation sample sets. The samples were analysed for physical and chemical parameters including caustic weight loss, fibre fractions, lipid, ash and minerals. A detailed protocol for assessing yarn quality has been developed to maximize the accuracy of the reflectance spectra. The development of partial least squares regression models and validation of the calibration equations using blind samples will be presented and discussed.

Peripheral neuropathy associated with hyper-IgE-emia have been rarely reported. Here we present a 72-year-old man with acute motor axonal neuropathy who had relatively poor prognosis. The serum was weakly positive for IgG GQ1b and GT1a, and serum IgE was significantly elevated. He was transferred to a rehabilitation center with Medical Research Council grade 3 lower extremity weakness on admission day 65. We would suggest that hyper-IgE-emia may increase the magnitude and rate of neural damage in this case.

Even though intracerebral hematoma (ICH) due to ruptured cerebral aneurysm has been treated by aneurysm clipping at the same time of removal of ICH through craniotomy, such management strategy is controversial in an aged patients with poor clinical grade. In this regards, stereotactic aspiration of hematoma following coil embolization can be an alternative treatment modality. Thus, the authors report a case of an aged patient who underwent stereotactic aspiration of ICH following coil embolization for the ruptured aneurysm with a brief review of literature.

Chordoid glioma is a rare primary brain tumor of the third ventricle, and was recently characterized as a novel tumor entity. Typical radiological features of chordoid gliomas include; a solid, round-to-ovoid, well-circumscribed, contrast-enhancing mass of the hypothalamus and anterior third ventricle. Despite being classified as WHO grade 2, the third ventricular chordoid glioma has been reported to have a poor clinical outcome because of its anatomical location. The authors report a case of chordoid glioma of the third ventricle in a 48-year-old man with unusual radiological features of cystic component and ill defined circumscription.

The authors describe an anaplastic oligodendroglioma of the cerebellum which is distinctly uncommon. The patient presented with sudden onset of decreased consciousness associated with hemorrhage in the cerebellum, which appeared to origin from a vascular malformation or a tumor on a initial computed tomography (CT) scan. Subsequent magnetic resonance (MR) imaging suggested a high grade glioma with abundant vascularity in the right cerebellum. The histological examination revealed the findings compatible with those of an anaplastic oligodendroglioma. A complicated clinical course had led him to a poor outcome.

이 논문은 발전소의 터빈 조속기가 장기사용으로 노후화되어 설비를 개선한 내용이다. 고리 원자력 제1호기에서 운전 중이던 기존의 아날로그 터빈 조속기를 철거하고 신규 개발한 디지털 조속기로 교체하는 과정과 동적 모사장치를 이용하여 현장 적응시험을 수행하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 원자력 증기터빈 조속기의 프로그램을 제안한 내용을 기술하고 있다.

Rapid prototyping is becoming an increasingly importnat techniuqe involved in the design cycles of modern industry. The majority of the rapid prototyping systems currently available use photo-reactive resins and waxes as the raw materials. The models produced by these systems often have relatively poor mechanical and physical properties and as such have a limited application to the production of advance prototypes but are excellently suited to the manufacture of engineering prototyes. This work identifies the need to produed near production grade advance prototypes from a variety of metals and a novel prototyping process based on the techniques of selective laser sintering and conventional machining is proposed. The integration of a carbon dioxide laser and a conventional machine tool to create the opto-mechanical by multi-layer sintering and some of the problems involved are also discussed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of basic knowledge of mathematics for $6^{th}$ grade students in elementary school by an essay test and provide instructional suggestions for teachers. A total of 132 students from 6 classes in 3 elementary schools were tested and analyzed in terms of the characteristics of correct answers and types of incorrect answers. The results showed that students had poor understanding of basic conceptual concepts and principles throughout six content areas of school mathematics curriculum, despite their good performance on mathematical skills. This study included implications to teaching and learning for each of the content areas.
