Hydroxyapatite/Polyacrylic Acid 균질복합체의 소결 특성 및 기계적 강도 (Sintering Behavior and Mechanical Strength of Hydroxyapatite/Polyacrylic Acid Homogeneous Composite)

  • 합성 수산화아파타이트(HAp)와 바인더로서 폴리아크릴산(PAA)을 사용하여 공침법으로 조성비가 서로 다른 HAp/PAA균질복합체 4종을 제조하였고, 이 균질복합체를 냉간정수압법으로 성형 및 공기중에서 여러조건으로 소결하였다. HAp/PAA composite의 소결체는 XRD 및 U-IR로 결정성 및 구조를 조사하였고, 또한 소결시편은 만능재료시험기(UTM)로 압축강도를 측정하였으며, 파단된 소결시편의 표면은 SEM으로 관측하였다 HAp/PAA composite는 120$0^{\circ}C$ 및 3시간의 소결조건에서 부분적인 $\alpha$, $\beta$-tricalcium phosphate로 상전이가 일어났다. 소결체의 기공크기와 기공률은 각각 0.2~3.0 $\mu\textrm{m}$와 0.49~13.43% 범위였고, 소결시편의 압축강도는 36.6~58.2 MPa 범위로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 부터 HAp/PAA composite의 소결체는 균일한 기공형태로 인해 우수한 압축강도를 가지는 미세다공성 HAp라고 설명할 수 있다.

$MgB_2$ bulk의 미세구조와 임계전류밀도에 미치는 polyacrylic acid doping 효과 (Effects of Polyacrylic Acid Doping on Microstructure and Critical Current Density of $MgB_2$ Bulk)

  • We fabricated the polyacrylic acid (PAA)-doped $MgB_2$ bulks and characterized their lattice parameters, actual C substitutions, microstructures, and critical properties. The boron (B) powder was mixed with PAA using N,N-dimethylformamide as solvent and then the solution was dried out at $200^{\circ}C$ and crushed. The C treated B powder and magnesium powder were mixed and compacted by uniaxial pressing at 500 MPa, followed by sintering at $900^{\circ}C$ for 1 h in high purity Ar atmosphere. We observed that the PAA doping increased the MgO amount but decreased the grain size, a-axis lattice constant, and critical temperature ($T_c$), which is indicative of the C substitution for B sites in $MgB_2$. In addition, the critical current density ($J_c$) at high magnetic field was significantly improved with increasing PAA addition: at 5 K and 6.6 T, the $J_c$ of 7 wt% PAA-doped sample was $6.39\;{\times}\;10^3\;A/cm^2$ which was approximately 6-fold higher than that of the pure sample ($1.04\;{\times}\;10^3\;A/cm^2$). This improvement was probably due to the C substitution and the refinement of grain size by PAA doping, suggesting that PAA is an effective dopant in improving $J_c$(B) performance of $MgB_2$.

폴리아크릴산 용액에서의 옥사카르보시안닌 색소분자의 회합현상에 대한 반응속도론적 연구 (Kinetic Studies of the Aggregation of 3,3'-Diethyl Oxacarbocyanine onto Polyacrylic Acid)

  • 균일 수용액과 polyacrylic acid(PAA) 존재하에서 3,3'-diethyl oxacarbocyanine(DOC)의 spectra변화를 흡수 및 형광분광학적인 방법으로 연구하였다. 균일 수용액에서 DOC의 농도변화에 따른 흡수 spectra변화는 dimer의 형성에 기인하는 것으로 설명하였다. PAA의 존재하에서 P/D변화에 의한 형광세기의 변화는 흡수 분광학적 방법과 유사한 결과를 얻었다. PAA와 DOC의 상호작용의 반응속도론적인 연구를 흡수 및 형광 정지흐름법으로 수행하였다. PAA-DOC계에서 관측된 이완효과는 두 개의 이완과정이 존재한다고 가정함으로써 정량적으로 설명할 수 있었다.

  • This experiment was carried out to improve the quality of high absorbent polymer which has excellent absorptivity and water retention compared to pulp and absorption sheet, through absorption characteristics-absorptive power, water retention, absorption rate, gel strength, pH, particle size, and moisture content. - of six polymers, namely, anionic polyacrylamide, cationic polyacrylamide, polyacrylic, acid polyvinyle alcohol 500, and 1500, and a-cellulose. and to examine the possibility of substitution of amide groups for carboxyl group and/or hydroxyl group which were commercial high absorbent polymer by comparing the absorption characteristics of the polymers. Polyacrylamide has high absorptive power and water retention, but has low gel strength and poor absorption rate. The rest of polymers were similiar to ${\alpha}$-cellulose in every respect. Thus, polyacrylamides could be replaced with polyacrylic acid and polyvinyl alcohol which are presently a high absorbent polymers. In comparing the absorption characteristics and the absorptive power of the polymers-anionic polyacrylamide, cationic polyacrylamide, polyacrylic acid, polyvinyle alcohol. a-cellulose-the absorptive power was in inverse proportion to the gel strength and absorption rates, affected by the particle size and pH change.

  • Nylon직포의 표면을 친수화 하기 위하여 동시조사법으로 Acrylic acid를 방사선 graft중합시켰다. Monomer용액속서 침지된 Nylon직포를 공기중 또는 진공하에서 ${\gamma}$-선으로 조사시켰다. 직포 표면에 형성된 Polyacrylic acid는 10$0^{\circ}C$의 sodium hydroxide용액(0.1%)으로 대부분 추출되었다. 접목 반응된 생성물의 화학적 조성을 측정하였다. 접목반응된 Polymer와 방사선 처리를 하지 않은 polyamide를 비교하여 볼 때 흡수성이라든가 대전성은 증진되었다.

수종의 실험 결정형성용액에 의한 브라켓 전단결합강도의 비교 (An in vitro study of a few crystal growth solutions on the bracket shear bond strength)

  • 이 연구는$30\%$ 폴리아크릴산(분자량 5,000)용액에 소량의 황산, 황산리치움염, 인산을 첨가하여 4가지의 실험 결정형성 용액을 제조하고, 이 용액으로 법랑질 표면을 처리한 후, 브라켓 전단 결합강도를 측정하고, 인산부식법에 의한 것과 비교하는 젓이다. 소의 하악절치 치관 순면을 $37\%$의 인산액과 4가지의 실험 결정형성 용액으로 60초간 처리하고, 20초간 수세하고, 20초간 건조시킨 후, 광중합 콤포짓 레진접착제로 브라켓을 부착하고, 실온에서 증류수속에 넣어 24시간 경과시킨 후 전단결합강도를 측정하고, 레진접착제의 파절양상을 관찰하였으며, 이들을 상호 비교하여 다음의 결과와 결론에 도달하였다. 1. 실험 결정형성 용액에 의한 브라켓 전단 결합강도는 인산부식법에 의한 것보다 낮았다. 2. 0.3몰 황산과 0.6몰 황산리치움염이 포함된 $30\%$ 폴리아크릴산 용액은 가장 높은 전단 결합강도를 나타냈고, 인산부식법에 의한 것의 약 $74\%$이었다. 3. 0.6몰의 황산이 포함된 $30\%$ 폴리아크릴산 용액에 의한 브라켓 전단결합강도는 인산 부식법에 의한 것의 약$62\%$ 이었다. 4. 0.3몰의 황산이 포함된 $30\%$의 폴리아크릴산용액과 0.6몰의 황산과 $5\%$인산 용액이 포함된 $30\%$의 폴리아크릴산용액의 브라켓 전단결합강도는 통계적 유의차가 없었고, 각각 인산부식법에 의한 것의 $32.9\%$$37.4\%$이었다. 5. 브라켓 제거중의 레진접착제 파절양상은 인산부식법의 경우에 법랑질-레진접착제 경계면 파절과 브라켓 베이스-레진접착제 경계면 파절의 혼합형이었으나, 실험 결정형성 용액의 경우에는 대체로 법랑질-레진접착제 경계면 파절이었으며, 법랑질 표면에 레진접착제의 잔류량이 매우 적었고, 결정은 레진접착제속에 매몰되어 파절되었다. 이 실험의 결과는 이 실험에서 사용된 결정형성용액이 브라켓 전단결합강도로 평가할 때에 임상적 사용 가능성이 부적합함을 시사한다.

Sulfamethazine에 의한 폴리아크릴산의 항균 효과 (Antibiotics Effect of Synthetic Polyacrylic Acid Containing Sulfamethazine)

  • Antibiotics polymer prepared by chemical bonding and simple blending of antibacterial into polymers have attracted much interest because of their long-lasting and antibacterial activity. Antibiotics polymer can significantly reduce losses associated with dissolution, photolytic decomposition and volatillization. Further more, increased efficiency safety and selectivity are additional benefits which may be realized. In this study, Antibiotics polymer was synthesized by chemical reaction of polyacrylic acid with sulfamethazine by N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide(DCC) method. Antibacterial susceptibility was determined against Streptococcus pyrogenes[gram(+)] and Esherichia coli.[gram(-)] using a standardized disc test. As a result, the synthetic antibiotics polymer exhibited the broad susceptibilty against Streptococcus pyrogenes and Esherichia coli. Especially, the antibiotic effect of antibacterial polymer against Gram negative(Esherichia coli) was much stronger than that against Gram positive(Streptococcus pyrogenes).

  • Polyacrylic acid와 polymethacrylic acid를 N-hydroxysuccinimide에 반응시켜 poly(N-acryloxysuccinimide)와 poly(N-methacryloxysuccinimide)를 합성하고, 이것과 cephradine을 반응시켜 polyacryloylcephradine과 polymethacryloylcephradine을 합성하였다. 이들 중합체약의 항균성을 2단계 희석법에 의하여 최소 발육저지 농도로서 조사하였다. Polyacryloylcephradine 중합체에 대한 최소 발육저지 농도는 Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Staphylococcus aureus FDA 209P, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Bacillus licheniformis ATCC 14580, Escherichia coli BE 1186 및 Salmonella typhimurium TV 119 균주들에 항균성이 대체적으로 우수하였다. Polymethacryloylcephylococcus aureus FDA 209P, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Escherichia coli BE 1186 및 Salmonella typhimurium TV 119 균주들에 대해서 항균력을 보여주었다.

Effect of dentin pretreatment and curing mode on the microtensile bond strength of self-adhesive resin cements

  • PURPOSE. The aim was to evaluate the effect of curing mode and different dentin surface pretreatment on microtensile bond strength (${\mu}TBS$) of self-adhesive resin cements. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Thirty-six extracted human permanent molars were sectioned horizontally exposing flat dentin surface. The teeth were divided into 12 groups (3 teeth/group) according to the dentin surface pretreatment methods (control, 18% EDTA, 10% Polyacrylic acid) and curing mode (self-curing vs. light-curing) of cement. After pretreatment, composite resin blocks were cemented with the following: (a) G-CEM LinkAce; (b) RelyX U200, followed by either self-curing or light-curing. After storage, the teeth were sectioned and ${\mu}TBS$ test was performed using a microtensile testing machine. The data was statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Student T-test and Scheffe's post-hoc test at P<.05 level. RESULTS. For G-CEM LinkAce cement groups, polyacrylic acid pretreatment showed the highest ${\mu}TBS$ in the self-cured group. In the light-cured group, no significant improvements were observed according to the dentin surface pretreatment. There were no significant differences between curing modes. Both dentin surface pretreatment methods helped to increase the ${\mu}TBS$ of RelyX U200 resin cement significantly and degree of pretreatment effect was similar. No significant differences were found regarding curing modes except control groups. In the comparisons of two self-adhesive resin cements, all groups within the same pretreatment and curing mode were significantly different excluding self-cured control groups. CONCLUSION. Selecting RelyX U200 used in this study and application of dentin surface pretreatment with EDTA and polyacrylic acid might be recommended to enhance the bond strength of cement to dentin.
