서화천 유역 비점오염원 관리를 위한 부하지속곡선 적용성 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of Load Duration Curve for the Management of Nonpoint Source Pollution in Seohwacheon Basin)

  • 본 연구에서는 대청호 상류에 있는 서화천 유역에서 부하지속곡선을 통한 소유역별 비점오염원 취약지역 및 관리 오염물질과 관리 시기를 분석하였다. 먼저 부하지속곡선을 만들기 위하여 장기 유출 모형인 SWAT를 구축하여 유량지속곡선(Flow Duration Curve)을 작성하였으며 그 결과에 목표 수질을 곱하여 부하지속곡선(Load Duration Curve)을 작성하였다. 목표 수질은 서화천 비점오염원 관리를 위해 지난 2017년 11월부터 측정한 모니터링 자료를 사용하였으며 측정자료의 60분위에 해당하는 값을 목표 수질로 설정하였다. 이때 산정된 값이 하천 생활환경 기준의 "약간좋음"(II)을 초과할 경우 목표 수질을 "약간 좋음"(II)으로 제한하였다. 비점오염원 취약지역은 목표 수질을 초과하는 초과율을 이용하여 선정하였으며 초과 되는 오염물질을 관리 물질로 판단하고 계절별 평가를 통해 관리시기를 선정하였다.

영산강과 섬진강 유역의 하천 수질환경 평가 (Estimation of Water Quality Environment in Youngsan and Seumjin River Basins)

  • 본 연구에서는 영산강과 섬진강의 유역을 대강으로 하천수질 환경관리에 가장 중요한 인자로 간주되는 종합적 수질지표(WQI)와 비유달부하량에 대한 개념을 도입하여 유역별 수질환경을 파악하였으며. 하천수질 형성에 영향을 미치는 인위적인 요인을 규명하였다. 영산강 유역의 비유달부하량은 8.34∼97.25kg/day/$\textrm{km}^2$로 나타났으며. 고막원천과 광주천유역에서 각각 97.25kg/day/$\textrm{km}^2$. 86.06kg/day/$\textrm{km}^2$로 높게 나타났다. 섬진강 유역의 비유달부하량은 10.98∼19.51kg/day/$\textrm{km}^2$로서. 오염 기여도가 높은 유역이 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. WQI는 영산강 유역에서 1.36∼3.45인 반면에 섬진강 유역에서는 0.5~1.47로 비교적 낮은 수질 오염도를 나타냈다. 유역의 종합적 환경관리를 위해서는 유역별 오염 발생량과 하천 자정능력을 고려한 하천의 오염물질 수용한계에 대한 분석이 전제되어야 하며, 본 연구에서 제시한 비유달부하량은 오염물질 수용한계에 대한 기초 자료로서 그 가치가 있다고 볼 수 있다.

삽교호의 오염물질 유달률 산정 조사 및 평가연구 (Estimation and Investigation of the Pollutant Delivery Rate of Sapkyo Reservoir)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 삽교호 지역을 대상으로 오염물질에 따른 구역별 유달률을 산정하고 오염물질 부하량에 따른 유달특성을 조사하고자 한다. 삽교호 주변의 주요하천은 남원천, 도고천, 삽교천, 무한천, 곡교천이고 5개 주요하천의 강우 시 유달률과 그 특성을 조사되었다. 그 결과 삽교호 조사 유역 전체의 유달률 BOD는 0.40, 총질소(T-N)는 0.34, 총인(T-P)은 0.08이었고 T-P의 유달률은 다른 수질항목에 비교해서 상대적으로 낮게 조사되었다. 또한 유역 전반의 특성을 살펴보면 T-N과 T-P의 유달률은 연중 변화가 거의 없었다. T-N의 유달률은 갈수기 때에 0.2~0.3이었고 홍수기 때에는 0.31~0.39였다. T-P의 유달률은 갈수기에 0.3 이상, 홍수기 때에 0.11의 값을 나타내는데 이는 연평균 유달률인 0.08과 비슷한 값이다. 본 조사에서 계측한 각각의 유달률은 토지이용과 지형 특성이 유사한 지역의 유달률처럼 적용이 가능할 것이다.

$L_{eq}$의 실측값을 이용한 도로교통소음 환경기준 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Road Traffic Noise Environment Standard Establishment using Measurement Values of $L_{eq}$)

  • Road traffic noise is not produced by any one factor rather occurs as a composition of various factors. Its occurrence is made by running engine noise, tire frictional, and exhaust noise etc. The quality of the noise depends on the size of the vehicles, rotation and engine speed, vehicle load, package state of the road and incline etc. The occurrence of noise level of heavy trucks appears louder than smaller vehicles and the noise levels produced differs according to speed and load etc between similar size vehicles. Other factors such as traffic density, average speed, mixing rate of heavy vehicles, and the distance between vehicles also generate road traffic noise. In this paper we examine 2, 4, and 6-lane roads in Jeonju. Consequently, this study examined the means used to measure road traffic noise. It was found that when there is a large traffic density and the average velocity is below 70 km/hr, the noise level could receive a relative proper value by the current measuring means. But in the case of night-time, it was found that the current measuring method is inapposite.

강우시 도시지역 비점오염원 유출특성 분석 - 홍제천 상류 유역을 중심으로 - (Analyzing Runoff Characteristics of Nonpoint Sources During Rainfall in Urban Area - Focussing on upstream of Hongjechun watershed)

  • This study was performed to characterize stormwater runoff of pollution material from nonpoint sources during rainfall in drainage basins of Hongjechun watershed, and to suggest management methods to control the first flush of nonpoint sources. We conducted 4 times of field surveys including 3 times of wet period and 1 times of dry period for 5 stations, which consist of 3 stations in main stream of Hongjechun and 1 station in tributaries of Sinyoungchun and Gukichun, respectively. The variation of pollutant concentrations in terms of BOD, COD, SS and TP was large depending on the flow rate of stormwater, while a little change of TN concentration was investigated. Depending on the rainfall event, the difference of flowrates, and runoff loadings was large, while the difference of those for dry wether period was not noticeable for various sub-basins. In the results of unit load calculation, the range of 153-277 kg/ha/yr for BOD, 222-422 kg/ha/yr for COD, 264-432 kg/ha/yr for SS, 40-70kg/ha/yr for TN, and 13-25 kg/ha/yr for TP was obtained for Hongjechun, Sinyoungchun, and Gukichun sub-basins. Compared with the previous studies, the result of this study was founded to be acceptable.

도로 교통소음의 환경평가 단위인 24시간 등가소음레벨에 대한 적정성 검토에 관한 연구 (A Study on Examination of Propriety about L eq24 in Road Traffic Noise Environment Standard Evaluation)

진해만 퇴적물의 퇴적속도와 중금속 오염 (Pollution of Heavy Metals and Sedimentation Rates in Sediment Cores from the Chinhae Bay, Korea)

  • In the Chinhae Bay, Korea, sedimentation rates and sedimentary record of anthropogenic metal loads were determined by $^{210}Pb$ dating and heavy metal analysis of four sediment cores . The sedimentation rates varied from 0.16g/$cm^2$/yr(3.1mm/yr) at Sta. Ct, located within narrow waterway to 0.24g/$cm^2$/yr(4.8mm/yr) at Sta. Cl, located in Haengam Bay. Maximum contents of Mn, Zn, Cu and Cr were observed at Sta. C2 located near the mouth of Masan Bay, while minimum contents were observed at Sta. CB. Mn/Fe ratios at Sta. C2 and Sta. C4 showed gradually increasing and decreasing downward, respectively, in the upper layer of sediment cores. This suggests that Mn may be diagenetically redistributed in highly reduced environment. At Sta. C2, the concentrations of Zn and Cu began to increase from 1920s by anthropogenic input and have been remarkablely increasing since mid 1960s. At Sta. C3, located near Sungpo, anthropogenic input of these two elements has also slightly increased after 1970s. However, pollution of these two elements was not significant in Haengam Bay(Sta. Cl) and Chiljun watenway(Sta. C4). The pollution of Co, Ni and Cr was not remarkable in all core samples except surface sediment of Sta. C2. The total input of anthropogenic Zn and Cu since 1920s was estimated to be 28∼792 ㎍/cm2 and 0∼168㎍/cm2, respectively. Sta. C2 showed remarkablely higher values relative to other stations: anthropogenic loads of Zn and Cu constituted 27% and 29% of the total sedimentary inventories at the present day, respectively. Fe, Ni, Cr and Co contents showed good correlation(r>0.8) with each other. Anthropogenic Zn and Cu also showed a very good positive correlation(>0.9). However, correlation between these two group of element was quite scattered, indicating different sources and geochemical behaviors.

식생밭두렁과 실트펜스를 이용한 밭 비점오염 저감효과 평가 (Evaluation for Non-Point Sources Reduction Effect by Vegetated Ridge and Silt Fence)

  • The objective of this study was to test the non-point source pollution (NPS) control by the vegetated ridge and silt fence through field monitoring. The experiment plots were established with three sizes which are 5 m width by 22 m length with 8 %, 3 % slope and 15m width by 15 m length with 6 % slope. Flumes with the floating type stage gages were installed at the outlet of each plot to monitor the runoff. For a rainfall monitoring, tipping bucket rain gage was installed within the experiment site. Water quality samples were monitored during the heavy rainfall occurred. The amount of rainfall from 4 monitored events ranged from 27.6 mm to 130 mm. The runoff reduction rate could vary depending on slope, soil, crop growth condition, rainfall amount, rainfall intensity, antecedent moisture condition, and many other factors. The runoff from vegetated ridge and silt fence treatment plots was 24.05 % and -8.28 % lower than that from control plot, respectively. The monitoring results showed that the average pollution loads reduced by vegetated ridge compared to control were BOD 36.62~53.60 %, SS 40.41~73.71 %, COD 39.34~56.41 %, DOC 49.08~53.67 %, TN 26.74~67.23 %, and TP 52.72~91.80 %; by silt fence compared to control were SS 41.73 %, COD 1.93 %, and TN 2.38 %. The paired t-test result indicated that the vegetated ridge and silt fence were statistically significant effect in SS load reduction, with a 5 % significant level. Monitored results indicated that vegetated ridge and silt fence were both effective to reduce the pollutant from the field surface runoff.

  • NOx, Soot and other exhausted components already became a dangerous state as principal materials of the air pollution. Therefore, the exhausted regulations are getting strict in the many countries. In this paper, reduction characteristic of NOx, Soot and CO from diesel engine are investigated, when MF plasma-EGR hybride system is put to the diesel engine. NOx is decreased in all measured load and applied voltage to plasma renter However Soot is increased as increasing EGR rate and it is decreased as increasing applied voltage.
