In this study, repression of the body is defined as a restriction on natural developments or movements and a modification either temporarily or permanently of the human body in shape, color, texture and odor. In addition, it involves physical and (or) mental pain. Chinese foot-binding and the Western corset are extreme examples of female body's being repressed in the history of fashion. The analysis of this type of repression will be based on historical research and theoretical concepts such as Darwin's (1809-1882) survival condition, Freud's (1856-1939) renunciation of desire, Weil's (1909-1943) privilege, and Foucault's (1926-1984) L'Usage des Plaisirs(the use of pleasure). Chinese foot-binding symbolically represents ideal beauty, the distinction of an ethnic group, and a desire for improved social status in the struggle for political power. It also represents psychology and a esthetics of eroticism and fetishism that originate from a man's desire and his individual taste. Symbolically, the Western corset represents abundance and fecundity, obedience and devotion to religion, the sanctity of God and ideal beauty as defined by political power. It also represents psychology and aesthetics of eroticism and fetishism as man's desire and a fashion icon. In conclusion, Chinese foot-binding was pursuit of power in male ideology but Western corset was a power struggle between God and mankind.

Lakoff(2002)의 가족으로서의 국가 은유(nation-as-family metaphor)에 따르면 미국의 보수주의와 진보주의의 도덕성은 각각 국가를 "엄격한 아버지(strict father)" 또는 "자애로운 부모(nurturant parents)"로 보는 서로 다른 가족 은유에 기반을 두고 있으며 보수주의와 진보주의 진영의 입장은 이러한 가족 은유의 가치와 연합되어 있다고 본다. 이 연구는 점화 기법을 사용하여 가족 은유가 실제로 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 사람들에 대한 판단에 영향을 미칠 수 있을지 살펴보았다. Lakoff가 언급한 "엄격한 아버지(strict father)"의 도덕성을 점화했을 경우에 비해 "자애로운 부모(nurturant parents)"의 도덕성을 점화한 경우에 참가자들은 사회 보장 프로그램을 필요로 하는 사람들의 성품을 좀 더 긍정적으로 평가하며 그들이 처한 경제적 어려움을 개인의 책임으로만 돌리지 않는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 보수주의와 진보주의적 태도와 관점을 구성하는 요체가 무엇인지 되짚어 보게 하며 특히 사회 정책의 결정 및 정치적 판단에 미칠 수 있는 상황적 요인의 역할에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

Purpose: This research, based on the tariff reduction table negotiated by South Korea and China free trade area, the specific tariffs of the two countries in the implementation of the Korea-China Free Trade Agreement are calculated, and the global equilibrium model, the global trade analysis project (GTAP) model, is used to simulate and analyze the impact of the Korea-China free trade area on the output and trade of the two countries. Research design, data and methodology: The study conducted a survey on 2018 year GTAP 9.0data. After empirically analyzing the data, we believe that the Major industry in Korea and China will maintain its growth momentum. Results: This study shows that under the assumption that the average tariff of China and South Korea at the beginning of FTA was reduced to 20%, two scenarios were simulated. Two scenarios are simulated under the assumption that the average tariff of China and South Korea FTA will be reduced to 10%. Conclusions: This paper assumes that the average tariff of China-Korea FTA is set at 20%, 10% and zero tariff respectively in the early, middle and long term of the FTA construction. It considers the impact of China-Japan-Korea FTA on China- Korea FTA.

While Lukacs advocated the progressive effect that Darwin's evolutionary theory had on Goethe and Balzac, he was convinced that the "influences of Nietzsche, Freud, or Spengler on the writers" of his own time were "devastating." He maintains that to the "'vacuous' reality" of bourgeois life, "the bourgeois writer counterposes 'the life of the soul,' which is 'alone decisive.' This life of the soul then becomes the centre of gravity, and sometimes the sole content of his portrayal." Naming this creative tendency psychologism, he warns against the danger of "depicting only the 'inner life,' and carrying on a more or less conscious education in the direction of political and social indifferentism, of ignoring and pushing aside the 'inessential,' 'external' struggles of the world, in favour of the 'life of the soul,' which is all that matters." However, Frantz Fanon's analysis of the psychology of the colonized in Black Skin, White Masks displays that after all, "the life of the soul" cannot be separated from the "external' struggles of the world." Pat Barker's Regeneration Trilogy, which criticizes the conduct of World War I by British leaders and the British society in general with its patriarchal, gender, and class repression by depicting the psychopathology of the shell shock victims of the same war amply shows the possibility of portraying the "external struggles of the world" through the in-depth probing into "the life of the soul" and finding political and social relevance in the process.

2021년 4.7 재보궐 선거에서 여당인 더불어민주당은 최근의 선거에서 확인된 탈 중간평가적 성격의 흐름을 깨고 기록적인 참패를 당했다. 왜 더불어민주당은 최근 선거의 흐름과 달리 큰 점수 차의 패배를 당한 것일까? 본 연구는 이러한 물음에 대한 답을 찾기 위해 4.7 재보궐 선거 이후 실시한 유권자 의식 조사 자료를 바탕으로 개별 유권자의 투표행태를 분석하는 한편으로 그와 같은 유권자 선택을 초래한 배경과 원인이 무엇인지를 살펴본다. 연구 결과, 4.7 재보궐 선거에서는 선행연구에서 확인된 바와 마찬가지로 정부여당에 대한 심판 여론이 강하게 나타났으며, 네거티브 선거가 전개되었다. 그러나 이번 재보궐 선거의 과정과 결과를 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면 일반적인 재보궐 선거와는 다른 모습이 확인된다. 과거 재보궐 선거에서 정권심판은 정치적 비중이 낮은 선거에서 여당 성향 유권자의 소극적인 참여나 정치적 부담이 덜한 상황에서 더욱 극대화되어 나타나는 적극적인 심판 심리에 기인했다. 그러나 이번 재보궐 선거에서는 이와는 반대로 정치적 비중이 높은 선거에서 더불어민주당 성향 유권자와 무당파 유권자의 적극적인 심판 심리가 선거의 중간평가적 성격을 강화하는 쪽으로 영향을 미쳤다. 아울러 야당을 지지하는 보수 성향 유권자의 결집 역시 선거의 중간평가적 성격 강화에 강한 영향을 미쳤음을 알 수 있다.

본 연구는 한국사회에서 조선족 여성이 직장에서 경험하는 어려움이나 갈등 그리고 그것에 대한 대처유형에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 서울 및 인근지역에 거주하는 조선족 여성에서(을 대상으로) 반구조화된 질문지를 통해 한국사회에서의 적응과 관련하여 면담을 하였다(평균 연령 = 34, SD = 9.25, 평균 한국거주 = 4년, SD = 2.24). 이 내용을 질적 연구방법 중, Giorgi(1985)의 현상학적 분석방법을 통해서 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 전체적으로 225개의 응답을 도출하였다. 그리고 23개의 하위범주와 9개의 상위범주를 구성하였다. 문화적 차이와 적응상의 어려움들에는 정체성과 언어적 의사소통, 정치경제적, 관계적 및 성적 측면이 있었다. 그리고 조선적 여성이 한국사회에서 대처하는 방법 중에는 순응형, 도구형, 도피형이 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 한국사회에서 직장 내 조선족 여성의 적응에 필요한 개인적 및 사회적 차원의 필요성을 논의하였다.

Participants in Open Source Software (OSS) development projects usually contribute voluntarily without expecting direct compensation for their work. One of the central puzzles raised by the success of OSS is the motivation of the participants; why top-notch programmers choose to write software that is released for no fee. In order to respond to this peculiarity employing a meta-research method, we first identify and review theoretical perspectives from diverse disciplines including economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, psychology, and management. Then, we suggest a comprehensive framework that provides a holistic understanding of the puzzle in question. Reviewing key empirical studies based on the suggested framework, we also suggest a future research agenda.

본 연구에서는 광복 이후 한국의 대통령의 연설문을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 기존의 글에 대한 정량적 분석인 내용분석 연구들이 내용어에 집중해 글쓴이의 생각을 분석한 것과는 다르게, 본 연구는 기능어와 심리적 상태와 관련된 내용어의 사용비율을 토대로 대통령의 생각을 분석하였다. 이를 위해, 다양한 대상과 집단을 대상으로 한 기존 언어분석 연구와 마찬가지로, 심리적이고 언어적인 변인들을 지표화하여 대통령의 연설문을 비교하였다. 연구 1에서는 영향력, 진정성, 대통령다움, 인지적 복잡성, 여성성, 심리적 건강 등 6개의 언어스타일 지표를 개발하였다. 역대 대통령 8인의 공식 연설문을 비교 분석한 결과, 대통령 언어스타일 지표 모두에서 대통령 간의 차이가 유의미하였다. 또한, 최근 대통령으로 올수록 연설문에서 진정성, 대통령다움, 심리적 건강은 증가하는 경향이 있고, 인지적 복잡성은 감소하는 경향이 관찰되었다. 재임시대를 구분하여 언어스타일의 변화를 추세 분석한 결과 선형추세가 유의미하였다. 또한, 정치적 성향에 따라서도 언어스타일에 있어서 뚜렷한 차이가 관찰됐다. 진보 성향 대통령의 연설문에서는 영향력과 인지적 복잡성이 높았고, 더 여성적인 언어가 상대적으로 더 많이 사용되었다. 반면, 보수 성향 대통령의 연설문에서는 진정성이 높았고, 더 대통령다운 표현이 많이 사용되었다. 연구 2에서는 개발된 언어스타일 지표가 직전인 박근혜 대통령의 연설문에서도 신뢰도를 유지하는지 여부를 관찰했다. 마지막으로 언어스타일 지표 간의 상관 특성, 2000년대 이후 정권과 일반 대중의 정치적 성향의 적합성, 본 연구의 지표인 여성성의 특성을 논의하였다.

본 연구에서는 남북한의 심리적 통일방안의 중요성과 그 구체적 실현 방법, 남북한 정신건강의 현황과 문제점에 대해 살펴보았다. 지금까지 남북통일에 대해 김대중의 남북연방제와 3단계 통일론 등 여러 주장과 연구들이 제시되었다. 본 연구에서는 남북한의 이질성과 동질성, 북한주민의 심리사회적 특성과 정신건강, 남북한의 심리학적 통일에 대한 기존의 심리학적 방안과 연구, 한국의 정신보건 현황 등을 개관했다. 남북한 통일의 문제는 점진적으로든 갑작스럽든 우리민족에게 필연적으로 다가올 수 밖에 없는 역사의 과정이라 할 수 있다. 남북한 통일에 대한 정치경제적 준비도 중요하지만, 분단 60여년의 심리적 상처와 고통을 치유할 수 있는 심리적 차원의 대비와 연구도 매우 중요하다. 향후 남북한 통일에 대비한 정신보건 정책 마련과 제도개선, 탈원화와 지역사회 통합을 강조하는 세계적인 정신보건 기준이나 OECD 권고에 부응하기 위한 각고의 노력이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구의 의의와 한계점, 향후 연구방향이 논의되었다.

Mental health experts warn the combination of overwhelming amounts of information, economic instability, political discontent, social injustice, and the high infection and death rates of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic are negatively impacting mental health in ways that may worsen the pandemic and intensify our primal fear of death. Terror Management Theory (TMT) argues that self-esteem and cultural worldviews serve as defenses against the terror of our own mortality. This theory anchor paper introduces TMT to Library and Information Science (LIS) via a selected literature review on TMT's use in the field of Psychology and an extensive discussion on the conceptual connections to LIS supported with empirical research from related disciplines and contexts. The implications, applications, and usefulness of TMT for LIS research, education, and practice are discussed in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and other contexts, and a research agenda is proposed.
