  • We have studied the problems associated with increasing number of ophthalmic optics students every year. The main problems are surplus supply of the optometrist and poor working condition. Thus all parties concerned who aim to solve the numerical unbalance of optometrist must have the common policy in sight. And we have to make a long-term plan and permanent organization for medical technician to establish supply and demand of medical technician with exact policy. To solve this unbalance of optometrist numbers, we have to establish an exact job category, reform the specialized education course, estimate the practical technique of national licensing examination for Korean optometrist, and innovate the contents and methods of reeducation.

  • The omni-channel customer system is the communication system between enterprise and customer via multiple channels such as mail, email, SMS, and mobile. The omni-channel customer system complements each other channel through the integration of each channel. The purpose of this research is to derive key factors and calculate the weights that a financial enterprise considers when adopting the omni-channel customer system. For this research, we analyzed the request for proposal documents used for the omni-channel customer system implementation projects in the financial enterprise. Also, we derived, classified, and stratified the key factors to be considered for the introduction of the omni-channel customer system in the financial enterprise. As a result of analyzing the key factors, customer experience, operations, and security were identified as the components of the top category in introducing the omni-channel customer system in the financial sector. Furthermore, the weight for each key factor was calculated by using ANP. As a result of ANP, operations, customer experience, and security were important in order. Also, the degree of easiness for connecting with other systems and the various abilities for representing the contents of the omni-channels were derived as the important key factors.

  • Objectives: This study performed to verify Korea National Health and Examination Survey(KNHAES) to monitor recommended physical activity(PA) and to propose an monitoring tools for evidence-based PA projects. Methods: The characteristics of the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire(GPAQ) and its reliability and validity were overviewed based on the current scientific evidence in the field of PA. Relevant articles were identified through multiple sources including PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, CINAHL, ASP, RISS4U, and KISS. Results: The GPAQ has strong points over the Short Form of International Physical Activity Questionnaire(IPAQ-SF) as a monitoring tool to meet recommended PA levels for three domains separately and reflecting a better understanding about walking. Its reliability and validity also were reported as acceptable in existing studies overall. Some limitations of this questionnaire, however, need to be addressed to improve its quality. Conclusions: For monitoring of evidenced-based physical activity projects, we considered that it is able to be provided an opportunity for in-depth discussion among academic experts and policy-makers about the necessity of complements for KNHAES and applying new tools, and it could be the basis for development of physical activity monitoring tool in the future.

  • In this study, we estimated the number of secondary COVID-19 infections caused by students with potential transmission potential home. When the existing Monte Carlo method was applied to Korean data, the average number of household members of the second COVID-19 infected was predicted. The summary of this study is as follows. First, in general, the number of secondary infections by students returning home from school is greatly influenced by the virus infection rate of each student group they contact while returning home from school. Korea-based empirical research on this is needed. Second, the number of secondary infections by Korean students was relatively lower than that of previous studies. This can be interpreted as being due to the domestic furniture structure. Third, unlike previous studies that assumed the distribution of secondary infected individuals as normal distribution, assuming a negative binomial distribution, the number of secondary infected individuals was sensitively changed according to the estimated parameters. Interpretation of this result shows that the number of secondary infections may vary depending on the time of decision making, the target region, and the target student group. Finally, according to the results of this analysis, a proposal was made to support education policy decisions.
