Using the skins of conger eel, Astroconger myriaster, and hagfish, Eptatretus burzeri, from fillet manufactory, the optimum conditions of skin glue processing were investigated and physical ana chemical properties of the product were also determined. The yields of conger eel and hagfish skin to the total body weight were $10.6\%$ and $11.4\%$, respectively. The optimum processing conditions for conger eel skin glue were the extraction of skins which were previously tinted with $0.3\%$ calcium hydroxide solution for one hour, in water at pH 5.5 and $60^{\circ}C$ for four hours. The additional water was six times sample weight. In case of the hagfish skin glue, the liming time with $0.3\%$ calcium hydroxide solution was suitable for three hours, and the skins were extracted with water as much as nine times sample weight at pH 5.0 and $60^{\circ}C$ for three hours. The contents of crude protein of conger eel and hagfish skin glue were $91.5\%$ and $90.2\%$, respectively. The content of crude lipid was slightly higher than that of chemical grade gelatin. Relative viscosity, melting point, gelation temperature and jelly strength of conger eel skin glue were 13.6, $15.2^{\circ}C$, $6.2^{\circ}C$ and 13.0g respectively and those of hagfish skin glue were 12.9, $14.8^{\circ}C$, $4.3^{\circ}C$ and 23.3g respectively. The turbidity of conger eel skin glue and hagfish skin glue were slightly superior to those of dry glue.

Purpose : The using of endo-rectal balloon has proposed as optimal method that minimized the motion of prostate and the dose of rectum wall volume for treated prostate cancer patients, so we make the customized rectal balloon device. In this study, we analyzed the efficiency of the Self-customized rectal balloon in the aspects of its reproducibility. Materials and Methods : In 5 patients, for treatment planning, each patient was acquired CT slice images in state of with and without rectal balloon. Also they had CT scanning samely repeated third times in during radiation treatment (IMRT). In each case, we analyzed the deviation of rectal ballon position and verified the isodose distribution of rectum wall at closed prostate. Results : Using the rectal balloon, we minimized the planning target volume (PTV) by decreased the internal motion of prostate and overcome the dose limit of radiation therapy in prostate cancer by increased the gap between the rectum wall and high dose region. Conclusion : The using of rectal balloon, although, was reluctant to treat by patients. View a point of immobilization of prostate internal motion and dose escalation of GTV (gross tumor volume), its using consider large efficients for treated prostate cancer patients.
View of Lee Je-ma's "Hyung Sang" is one of the methods of classification of Constitution. In this study, I studied the "Hyung Sang" as medical histologically, and get the results as follow; 1. "The book of changes" is classified to the sciences of divination of "Sang-Soo", which is consisted with "Sang (image)" and "Soo (number)", and "Wae-Ri", which explained the meaning of a divination sign as "nature" or virtue of divination sign. 2. Lee Je-ma is accepted the concepts of science of divination of "Wae-Ri" based on Confucianism in the discription of "The book of changes". And also he established the new "Sasang Constitutional Medicine" theory based on the "Joung-Young". 3. "The book of changes" is discribed phenomena as "Sang" and "Soo" involving "Three elements", which are heaven, earth, and individual, and "Yin-Yang". Lee Je-ma accepted the concept of "Sang" in science of divination of "Sang-Soo" and established the "Four elements", which are affairs, mind, body, and objects, constituting "Three elements". 4. In the method of "Sasang" type classifying, Lee Je-ma used "Four elements", which attach importance to structure and function of human body rather than "Yin-Yang", which explain relatively.

A long term fertilizer trial has been conducted on a silty clayloam soil with barley as test crop since 1975. The treatments included NPK, NK, NP, and PK, and no fertilizer. This paper is to report the barley yield trend during 16 years(1975~1990) and the soil chemical properties and nutrient uptake by barley in 1990. Following is the summary of the results. 1. The average yield of barley in 16 years were in the order of NPK(100%) > PK(69%) > NP(55%) > No Fertilizer(35%) > NK(24%). Of special interst was that in 16th year the yield of barley in NK plot, namely without P, was nil. 2. In NK plot where the yield of barley was nil in 16th year, the uptake of N, P, and K by plant was lowest amomg the treatments and N, K fertilizer uptake efficiencies were nagative. 3. The soil analysis in 16th year revealed that in NK plot the pH, the available P and exchangeable Ca and Mg were very low. In 16 years average, there was positive correlation between the yield of barley and available P and exchangeable Mg in the soil. One interesting point was that in 16th year the $NO_3-N$ in the soul was relatively high, but N uptake by barley was very low.
Boknae Bio-park is a free water surface constructed wetlands to remove non-point source pollution. Boknae Bio-park constructed wetlands (CWs) consist of forebay, wetlands ($1^{st}$, $2^{nd}$, and $3^{rd}$ wetlands), and micropool. The concentrations of BOD, SS, T-N and T-P in inflow were 1.87-4.23, 5.2-24.0, 4.94-15.59 and $0.10-0.75mg\;L^{-1}$ in Boknae Bio-park CWs from April to December in 2008, respectively. The removal rates of BOD, SS, T-N and T-P in Boknae Bio-park CWs were 26, 43, 62 and 83%, respectively. The removal rates of BOD and SS in the spring and summer were higher than those in other seasons. The removal rates of T-N and T-P on spring were slightly higher than those in other seasons. The amounts of pollutants removal in Boknae Bio-park CWs were higher in the order of forebay > wetlands > micropool for BOD, wetlands > forebay > micropool for SS and wetlands > forebay > micropool for T-N. The amount of T-P removal was not significant different in all areas.
Nonpoint source pollution causes leaks and overtopping, depending on the state of the sewer network as well as aggravates the pollution load of the aqueous water system as it is introduced into the sewer by wash-off. According, the need for efficient sewer monitoring system which can manage the sewage flowrate, water quality, inflow/infiltration and overflow has increased for sewer maintenance and the prevention of environmental pollution. However, the sewer monitoring is not easy since the sewer network is built in underground with the complex nature of its structure and connections. Sewer decontamination mechanism as well as pipe network monitoring and fault diagnosis of water network system on system analysis proposed in this study. First, the pollution removal pattern and behavior of contaminants in the sewer pipe network is analyzed by using sewer process simulation program, stormwater & wastewater management model for expert (XP-SWMM). Second, the sewer network fault diagnosis was performed using the multivariate statistical monitoring to monitor water quality in the sewer and detect the sewer leakage and burst. Sewer decontamination mechanism analysis with static and dynamic state system results showed that loads of total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorous (TP) during rainfall are greatly increased than non-rainfall, which will aggravate the pollution load of the water system. Accordingly, the sewer outflow in pipe network is analyzed due to the increased flow and inflow of pollutant concentration caused by rainfall. The proposed sewer network monitoring and fault diagnosis technique can be used effectively for the nonpoint source pollution management of the urban watershed as well as continuous monitoring system.

Purpose: This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of rhPMP-2 coated implants on alveolar ridge augmentation in dogs. Materials and methods: Six Beagle dogs were used in this study. Six 8.0 mm long anodized surface titanium implants were placed 5 mm into the mandibular alveolar ridge following 6 month of healing period after extraction. Each animal received three implants coated with rhBMP-2 and three uncoated control implants using the randomized split-mouth design. Radiographic examinations were undertaken immediately at implant placement (baseline), at weeks 4 and 8 after implant placement. The amount of bone augmentation was evaluated by measuring the distance from the uppermost point of the coverscrew to the marginal bone. Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) values were measured immediately at implant placement and 8 weeks after implant placement. For the statistical analysis, Man-Whitney ranksum test and Wilcoxon signed rank test of SPSS 12.0 software were used (P=.05). Results: The BMP group exhibited radiographic vertical bone augmentation about $0.6{\pm}0.7$ mm at 8 weeks later while controls showed bone loss about $0.4{\pm}0.6$ mm. There was significant difference among the rhBMP-2 group and controls in bone level change (P<.05). The ISQ values were significantly higher in the BMP-2 group than the control group at 8 weeks later (P<.05), while there was no significant difference at surgery. Conclusion: Within the limitation of this study, the rhBMP-2 coated on anodized implant could stimulate vertical alveolar bone augmentation, which may increase implant stability significantly on completely healed alveolar ridge.

This study aimed to determine the quality characteristics of fermented wine using Nuruk according to the type of aging container (jar or stainless container) and aging time. Alcohol analysis was initiated at 40.4~39.3%, and alcohol contents in the jar and stainless container decreased as aging time increased. Volatile acid content slightly increased in the reduced pressure (RP) jar and stainless container and showed a different result in the atmospheric pressure (AP) container. Amount of acetic acid did not change either in the jar or stainless container as aging time increased. In the case of 2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA), RP was lower than AP after distillation, and TBA value did not change much either in the jar or stainless container. In the case of fusel alcohol by aging time, n-propanol content did not increase either in the jar or stainless container as aging time increased. Iso-butanol content was reduced in the jar but did not change in the stainless container. In the AP container, more aromatic components were measured on the 180th day of aging time than after distillation. High boiling point aromatic components increased in particular. In the stainless container, more aromatic components were generated on the 180th day of aging, but their amount was relatively lower than in the jar. In the jar aging sensory test, the sensory score at RP 50 cmHg was highest on the 180th day of aging. In the case of AP $80^{\circ}C$ liquor, sensory score on the 180th day was the most improved.
