한국전통문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식 및 적용대상에 따른 감성이미지 (Images of Korean Traditional Patterns according to Category, Interpretation Type, Composition Type, and Application Object)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate images of Korean traditional patterns. The subjects consisted of 369 male and 356 female undergraduate students. The experimental materials used in this study were 48 stimuli and questionnaires, composed of 7-point semantic differential scales of 23 bipolar adjectives. Twelve motifs selected from 3 groups of Korean patterns were used as motif stimuli. Twelve repeated patterns were constructed from them to be applied on a CAD-simulated dress. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. The major findings were as follows: 1. Four dimensions were emerged accounting for the dimensional structure of the images of Korean traditional patterns. These dimensions were 'simplicity', 'quality', 'interest', and 'modernity' dimension. Among them, 'simplicity' and 'quality' were the major dimensions. 2. Category, interpretation type, composition type, and application object of motif had significant effects on the images of above-mentioned dimensions. The application object had a significant effect on 'simplicity' and 'modernity' image, and the composition type on 'quality' and 'interest' image.

학령기 아동의 의복행동 측정도구 개발에 관한 연구 -4, 5, 6학년 아동을 중심으로- (A Study on the Measurement of Clothing Behavior of Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develope a questionaire measuring clothing behavior of elementary school children. At first, after pretest, the clothing behavior questionaire consisted of 70 items which were devidad. into 7 subscales i.e. Clothing interest. Clothing satisfaction. Clothing management, Clothing sex-role. Clothing comfort. Clothing conformity. and Clothing independence. Each item was rated on a 3-point scale. Samples were 447 boys and girls (4 th, 5 th, 6 th grade) of three elementary schools in Seoul. Korea. The data were analyzed by item analysis and factor analysis. Factor analysis was useful in attempting to establish contruct validity. Item validity was examined based on the correlation coefficients and item discriminating power through the chi-square. Reliability was examined based on the Cronbach's Alpha Reliability Coefficient and test-retest method. With this analysis the subscales were reconstructed to following 6 factors. Clothing conformity items were not clustered by the factor analysis. 52 items of 6 factors selected by the analysis. The factors characteristics were as follows: 1. Clothing interest (10 items) 2. Clothing satisfaction (11 items) 3. Clothing management (8 items) 4. Clothing sex-role (12 items) 5. Clothing comfort (6 items) 6. Clothing independence (5 items)

The Study of Comparing Korean Consumers' Attitudes Toward Spotify and MelOn: Using Semantic Network Analysis

  • This study examines Korean users' attitudes and emotions toward Melon and Spotify, which lead the music streaming market. We used Text Mining, Semantic Network Analysis, TF-IDF, Centrality, CONCOR, and Word2Vec analysis. As a result of the study, MelOn was used in a user's daily life. Based on Melon's advantages of providing various contents, the advantage is judged to have considerable competitiveness beyond the limits of the streaming app. However, the MelOn users had negative emotions such as anger, repulsion, and pressure. On the contrary, in the case of Spotify, users were highly interested in the music content. In particular, interest in foreign music was high, and users were also interested in stock investment. In addition, positive emotions such as interest and pleasure were higher than MelOn users, which could be interpreted as providing attractive services to Korean users. While previous studies have mainly focused on technical or personal factors, this study focuses on consumer reactions (online reviews) according to corporate strategies, and this point is the differentiation from others.

Collaborative filtering by graph convolution network in location-based recommendation system

  • Recommendation systems research is a subfield of information retrieval, as these systems recommend appropriate items to users during their visits. Appropriate recommendation results will help users save time searching while increasing productivity at work, travel, or shopping. The problem becomes more difficult when the items are geographical locations on the ground, as they are associated with a wealth of contextual information, such as geographical location, opening time, and sequence of related locations. Furthermore, on social networking platforms that allow users to check in or express interest when visiting a specific location, their friends receive this signal by spreading the word on that online social network. Consideration should be given to relationship data extracted from online social networking platforms, as well as their impact on the geolocation recommendation process. In this study, we compare the similarity of geographic locations based on their distance on the ground and their correlation with users who have checked in at those locations. When calculating feature embeddings for users and locations, social relationships are also considered as attention signals. The similarity value between location and correlation between users will be exploited in the overall architecture of the recommendation model, which will employ graph convolution networks to generate recommendations with high precision and recall. The proposed model is implemented and executed on popular datasets, then compared to baseline models to assess its overall effectiveness.

고속DCT변환 방식의 정수형 연산에 관한 연구 (On the Finite-world-length Effects in fast DCT Algorithms)

  • 오늘날 데이터 감축을 위한 디지털 영상처리에 KLT와 매우 유사한 성능을 갖는 DCT에 관한 관심도가 점점 늘고 있다. 지금까지 계산량을 줄이기 위해 발표된 많은 알고리즘 중에서 Chen의 알고리즘이 가장 많이 알려져 있다. 최근데 발표된 Lee 알고리즘은 Chen의 알고리즘에 비해 복잡한 계산량을 줄였지만 고정 소수점 연산시 FWL에 의한 성능감소가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 FWL 영향에 따른 오차 분석을 행하여 두 알고리즘들의 성능비교를 하였다. 또한 고정 소수점 연산에 따른 성능감소를 줄이기 위해 up&down-scaling기법을 제안하였다. 16비트 고정 소수점 연산으로 16x16 2차원 DCT를 구현하여 영상 데이타에 적용할 경우 이론적인 고찰과 시뮬레이션 결과 Lee 알고리즘이 Chen 알고리즘과 유사한 성능을 갖는다는 것을 입증하였다.

그래프 데이터 모델을 활용한 크라우드 소싱 기반의 장소 정보 구축을 위한 시스템 설계 및 구현 (System Design and Implementation for Building a Place Information based on Crowdsourcing Utilizing the Graph Data Model)

  • 최근 모바일 환경의 보급에 따른 위치기반서비스의 발달로 POI 정보의 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 따라서 빠르게 변화하는 장소들의 정보를 반영하기 위해서는 POI의 최신성과 정확성이 담보되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 POI 정보의 효율적인 구축을 위해 다수의 사용자가 정보를 구축하는 크라우드 소싱 기반의 장소 정보 구축 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 POI 정보를 넘어서서 영역 형태의 정보를 포함하는 장소 정보의 개념을 제시하고, 장소 정보의 구축을 위해 그래프 데이터 모델을 활용하였다. 그리고 그래프 데이터 모델과 크라우드 소싱을 활용한 시스템을 설계하고, 이를 실제로 구현하였다. 그 결과 단순 POI로부터 영역 형태를 포함하는 장소의 개념의 클러스터링이 가능하였고, 크라우드 소싱을 통해 정보의 구축 및 갱신이 가능하였다.

Landsat 8 위성영상과 AWS 데이터를 이용한 서울특별시의 지표면 온도 분포 분석 (Distribution Analysis of Land Surface Temperature about Seoul Using Landsat 8 Satellite Images and AWS Data)

  • 최근 지구온난화로 인한 기상이변, 도시화로 인한 도심의 열섬현상 등으로 도시 온도변화 및 지표면 온도 변화에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 우리나라에서는 1904년부터 현재까지 기온, 강수량 등 기상 데이터를 수집하고 있다. 최근에는 종관기상관측장비(ASOS; Automated Surface Observing System) 96개소, 방재기상관측장비(AWS) 494개소의 지상기상관측망을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 지상관측망의 경우 각 설치 지점에 대한 점 데이터를 제공하고 있으므로, 측정 지점을 제외한 곳의 지상기상 데이터는 보간법을 통해 예측하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지상의 지표면 온도 측정의 해상도를 향상시키기 위해 위성영상을 이용한 지표면 온도를 산출하고, 그 활용 가능성을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울특별시를 대상으로 Landsat 8 OLI TIRS의 위성영상을 계절별로 획득하고, 열적외 밴드에 NASA식을 적용하여 지표면 온도로 변환하였다. 지상의 측정 자료는 AWS를 통해 측정한 기온 데이터를 활용하였다. AWS 기온 데이터는 관측소 기반의 점 데이터이므로, Landsat 영상과의 비교를 위해 크리깅 보간법으로 보간을 수행하였다. 위성영상기반의 지표면 온도와 AWS 기온 데이터를 비교한 결과 계절에 따른 온도차는 RMSE값을 바탕으로 가을, 겨울, 여름, 봄의 순서로 Landsat 위성영상의 적용 가능성을 판단할 수 있었으며, 위성영상의 시기별 평균온도와 AWS 온도 사이에는 최대 평균 $2.11^{\circ}C$이내, 최대 RMSE ${\pm}3.84^{\circ}C$인 것을 감안하면 정확도 향상을 위해 NASA식에 보정값이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • Timber inventory is a good starting point for developing strategies to effectively manage the timberland. In the sale of timberland, pricing is mostly based on this inventory. For a small timberland, inventory by conventional ground survey could be possible. In the case of large and nationwide business transactions, swift and inexpensive inventory is worth to be considered as the conventional methods require more experienced man power, money and time. In the present study, it was aimed to identify the chronicle of timberland such as changes that has occurred owing to silvicultural activities and by other means using the historical aerial photography and satellite data. Historical aerial photos from National Aerial Photography Program (NAPP), National High Altitude Photography (NHAP), Survey Photography and Landsat satellite data were used. Orthophotos were constructed using the DOQQ and DEM from USGS. Simple photo interpretation technique was employed to classify the orthophoto and satellite data. The plantation area was classified into softwood, mixed and hardwood. The timber age and the corresponding acreage details and the changes were also estimated. The result of this study could be more useful to the timberland buyers to better understand the chronicle of timberland of their interest prior to transactions.

  • With increasing interest in ubiquitous computing technology, an infrastructure for the short-distance wireless communication has been extended socially, bringing spotlight to the security system using the image or location. In case of existing security system, there have been issues such as the occurrences of blind spots, difficulty in recognizing multiple objects and storing of the unspecified objects. In order to solve this issue, zone-based location-estimation search system for the image have been suggested as an alternative based on the real-time location determination technology combined with image. This paper intends to suggest the search service for the image zone-based location-estimation. For this, it proposed the location determination algorism using IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee's RSSI and for real-time image service, the RTP/RTCP protocol was applied. In order to combine the location and image, at the event of the entry of the specified target, the record of the time for image and the time of occurrence of the event on a global time standard, it has devised a time stamp, applying XML based meta data formation method based on the media's feature data based in connection with the location based data for the events of the object. Using the proposed meta data, the service mode which can search for the image from the point in time when the entry of the specified target was proposed.

Activity Segmentation and 3D-Visualization of Pusher-Loaded Earthmoving Operations from Position Data

  • By logging position data from GPS-equipped construction machines, we re-create daily activities as 3D animations to analyze performance and facilitate look-ahead scheduling. The 3D animation enables going back to any point in time and space to observe the activities as they took place. By segmenting data into a set of activities, it is possible to obtain actual measures of performance such as cycle times, production, speed profiles and idle times. The measures of performance can then be compared to those expected (e.g., theoretical speed profiles vs. observed profiles), and instances of significant difference can be flagged for further investigation. Idle times and queues that exceed prescribed thresholds can also be identified. In general, many of the traditional real-time performance analyses can be performed after the fact. Situations of interest can be identified automatically and the events in this manner enhances effective performance improvement in construction. The proposed research is explained and demonstrated using a real push-loaded earthmoving operation.
