32 비트 곱셈기를 사용한 골드스미트 배정도실수 역수 계산기 (Goldschmidt's Double Precision Floating Point Reciprocal Computation using 32 bit multiplier)

  • 최근 그래픽 프로세서, 멀티미디어 프로세서, 음성처리 프로세서 등에서 부동소수점이 주로 사용된다. 한편 C, Java 등 고급언어에서는 단정도실수와 배정도실수를 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 32비트 곱셈기를 사용하여 배정도실수의 역수를 계산하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 배정도실수 가수를 상위 부분과 하위 부분으로 나누고, 상위 부분의 역수를 골드스미스 알고리즘으로 계산하고, 이를 초기값으로 하여 배정도실수의 역수를 계산하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 입력값에 따라서 곱셈 횟수가 다르므로, 평균 곱셈 횟수를 계산하는 방식을 유도하고, 여러 크기의 근사 역수 테이블에서 평균곱셈 횟수를 계산한다.

  • 최근 그래픽 프로세서, 멀티미디어 프로세서, 음성처리 프로세서 등에서 부동소수점이 주로 사용된다. C, Java 등 고급언어에서는 단정도실수와 배정도실수를 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 32 비트 곱셈기를 사용하여 배정도실수의 역수를 계산하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 배정도 실수 가수를 상위 부분과 하위 부분으로 나누고, 상위 부분의 역수를 뉴턴-랍손 알고리즘으로 계산한다. 그리고 이를 초기값으로 하여 배정도실수의 역수를 계산한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 입력값에 따라서 곱셈 횟수가 다르므로, 평균 곱셈 횟수를 계산하는 방식을 유도하고, 여러 크기의 근사 역수 테이블에서 평균 곱셈 횟수를 계산한다.

  • Objective: A study on $\ll$Lingchui, 靈樞 Weiqi, 衛氣$\gg$ which descripted Twelve meridian Biaoben(標本) pulse diagnosis method. Methods: A study on Twelve meridian Biaoben(標本) pulse diagnosis method which has the cognizance of Biaoben(標本) on upper and low twelve meridian as linear upper and low pulse diagnosis point. Results: Twelve meridian Biaoben(標本) pulse diagnosis method is derived from using each twelve meridian pulse diagnosis and it can be explained that the ben(本) pulse point on wrist ankle and the biao(標) pulse point on thorax axillary neck head face correspond to upper and low part of meridian for diagnosis and treatment which become the theory of "treat upper disease on low part, treat low disease on upper part". Conclusions: Twelve meridian Biaoben(標本) pulse diagnosis method started confirming the general concept of Jue-symptom(厥症) and Jue-symptom(絶症) and developed upper and low pulse diagnosis point or acupuncture point to treatment.

갯벌에서 여름철 일몰 전후 이산화탄소 농도 변동 분석 (Variation Analysis of CO2 Concentrations at Sunset before and after of Summer Season at the Foreshore)

  • In this study, before and after sunset carbon dioxide concentration and air temperature were observed in two points of atmosphere (lower observation point of the GL + 0.1 m, the upper observation point of GL + 1.0 m) on the foreshore at located in Suncheon Bay and their variations were analyzed. Observation was performed on the foreshore on 2~4 August 2010. Instrument (VAISALA, GMP343) was set two hours before sunset and then observation was made continuously for six hours. In three days, observed carbon dioxide concentration was 375~419 ppm, and the air temperature was in the range of $28.7{\sim}32.5^{\circ}C$. The average concentration of carbon dioxide was 388~399 ppm in the upper observation point and 386~396 ppm in the lower observation point. It was higher in the upper observation point and its fluctuations were similar in two observation points. Correlation coefficients between carbon dioxide concentration and air temperature in the upper observation point were in the range of -0.64~-0.88, and were calculated -0.65 to -0.90 in the lower observation point. For the carbon dioxide concentration, correlation coefficients between the upper part and the lower part were very high as 0.98 in three times. For the air temperature, correlation coefficients between the upper part and the lower part were very high as 0.97 and 0.99. In the same observation time, the slope of the linear regression function as carbon dioxide concentration in the lower observation point for the upper observation point was in the range of 0.97~1.01. Carbon dioxide concentration was slightly higher in the upper observation point. Because carbon dioxide in the lower observation point was closer on the surface of the foreshore and absorbed from atmosphere to the foreshore. In this study, it was showed that the vertical variation of carbon dioxide concentration was insignificant in the several meter scale of atmosphere on the surface of the foreshore.

비접근 지역의 SPOT 위성 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on Modeling of SPOT Satellite for Inaccessible Area)

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the attitude and the position of SPOT satellite which are needed in producing DEM(Digital Elevation Model) using SPOT satellite image pairs. DEM extraction is consists of three parts. First part is the modeling of satellite position and atitude, second part is the matching of two images to find corresponding point of them and third part is to calculate the elevation of each point by using the result of the first and second part. For modeling inaccessible area, extended modeling algorithm which removes the GCP(Ground Control Point) most errorneous from the GCPs extracted from map iteratively is proposed According to the experiments using a collinearity equation, the second order polynomials are shown to the optimal for .omega.(pitch), and Zs parameters while the first order ones for .kappa.(yaw) .PHI.(roll), Xs, and Ys parameters. The input images used in this paper are 6000*6000 level 1A panchromatic digital SPOT images of Chungchong-do, Korea. With 30 GCPs, experiments on SPOT images show that the planimetric and altimetric RMS errors are 7.11m and 7.10m, respectively, for test points.

구두의 굽높이가 발의 쾌적감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Shoe Heel-Heights on the Foot Comfort)

  • This paper is concerned with the mutual relationship among interpressure, last. foot within a new shoe and foot within a fifty-hour-used shoe at the standing posture at three different heel-heights 1. The interrelationship between the heel-heights and interpressure is very significant at the level of $0.1\%$. The heel-heights cause high interpressure at different parts of foot; heel point and big toe point in a 3 cm-heel shoe, big toe point and heel outside joint point in a 5 cm-heel shoe, and little toe point, heel-outside joint point, and arch point in a 7 cm-heel shoe. 2. Foot girth and foot width measurements either within a new shoe or within a fifty-hour-used shoe significant at the level of $5\%,\;1\%,\;0.1\%$ and show discrepancies at three different heel heights; the part between instep and ball joint in a 3 cm-heel shoe, toe part in a 5 cm-heel shoe, heel-inside joint. heel-outside joint and toe part in a 7 cm-heel shoe are highly influenced by heel heights. The higher the shoe-hee15 are, the more heavily the fore part of foot is pressured in lateral direction because shoe is made to have high instep from a fashion viewpoint. Higher shoe heels prevent weight pressure from being concentrated on heel. If shoe heels are toe high, people in such shoes feel easily tired. It is very worthy of note in selecting shoes to consider not only the shoe fashion but also fore shoe type, heel height, and shoe material with proper elasticity.

Automatic detection of the optimal ejecting direction based on a discrete Gauss map

  • In this paper, the authors propose a system for assisting mold designers of plastic parts. With a CAD model of a part, the system automatically determines the optimal ejecting direction of the part with minimum undercuts. Since plastic parts are generally very thin, many rib features are placed on the inner side of the part to give sufficient structural strength. Our system extracts the rib features from the CAD model of the part, and determines the possible ejecting directions based on the geometric properties of the features. The system then selects the optimal direction with minimum undercuts. Possible ejecting directions are represented as discrete points on a Gauss map. Our new point distribution method for the Gauss map is based on the concept of the architectural geodesic dome. A hierarchical structure is also introduced in the point distribution, with a higher level "rough" Gauss map with rather sparse point distribution and another lower level "fine" Gauss map with much denser point distribution. A system is implemented and computational experiments are performed. Our system requires less than 10 seconds to determine the optimal ejecting direction of a CAD model with more than 1 million polygons.

효율적인 순로코드 발생을 위한 고속 한글 주소검색 시스템 개발 (High-Speed Korean Address Searching System for Efficient Delivery Point Code Generation)

  • 실제로 사용되는 주소의 분석을 통해 한글주소의 해석방법을 제안하고, 제안한 주소해석 방법을 이용한 주소 검색시스템의 구현에 대하여 서술한다. 주소 상위 및 하위영역의 일치검증을 각각 순차적으로 수행하는 2단계 과정을 통해 최종 배달점에 대한 순로코드를 발생한다. 우편 번호와 주소 상위영역 일치검증 단계에서는 우편버호를 이용하여 주소사전에서 검색된 주소단어와 인식된 문자 후보들과의 비교를 통해 우편 번호를 검증하게 되며, 주소 상위영역과 주소 하위영역이 분리된다. 주소 상위영역 일치검증 과정의 성능향상을 위해 혼동행렬을 제안하고, 주소 인식결과에 혼동행렬을 적용하여 검증 성공률의 향상을 통해 혼동행렬의 유용성을 확인하였다. 주소 하위영역 검증은 번지정보와 건물명 정보를 이용하여 순로코드를 발생하였다. 부분적으로 완성된 광주와 부산지역의 DPF(Delivery Point File)와 레이블링된 데이터를 이용해 분석 가능한 주소에 대해 높은 정확도를 가지고 순로코드를 발생함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, We proposed the stereo image modeling using 2-dimensional images captured by the high resolution cameras to inspect the ball defects of BGA(Ball Grid Array) device. The proposed algorithm consists of the package/ball area extraction part, the FOV(Field of View) calibration part, the top point matching part, and ball height measurement part, In the package/ ball area extraction part, the package and ball areas are separately extracted in a left and right image by the extraction algerian. Through the experiment, we draw out the result.

  • Motivation models based on the Psychology have contributed to Predict and understand individual behaviors. During the many period, a various type of motivation models have been experimented by the researchers(i.e., need theory that is the first theory in motivation and equity theory, expectancy theory, reinforcement theory, and goal-setting theory centered on cognitive mechanisms). This article's objectives is to analyze motivation models mentioned above in the point of cognitive views (cognitive processes and cognitive mechanisms). Accordingly, the article's structure is consisted of five parts as follows. Part 1. Introduction. Part 2. The theoritical backgrounds of motivation. Part 3. The major theories of motivation. Part 4.
