The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of dentin surface conditioners on the dentin surfaces. Freshly extracted human molars were used in this study. They were stored at $4^{\circ}C$ saline solution before experiment. The crown portions of the teeth were cut in various directions by means of wet diamond point to expose dentin which include transverse, vertical oblique, horizontal and oblique cut to the long axis (Fig. 1). Each tooth was then mounted with self curing acrylic resin in brass ring to expose the flattened dentin surfaces. Final finish was accomplished by grinding the dentin specimens with wet No. 180 and No. 600 grit silicon carbide abrasive paper until a 6.0mm in diameter on a dentin surface was exposed without pulp exposure. The specimens were divided into 9 groups according to the modes of dentin treatment procedure. The following surface treatments were applied on these preparation surfaces; Group 1: unetched (control group) after finish with No. 600 silicon carbide abrasive paper. Group 2: etched with 30% phosphoric acid for 60s Group 3: etched with 10-3 solution for 60s Group 4: Cleaned with 5% NaOCl for 30s Group 5: applied Dentin Adhesit Group 6: cleaned with 5% NaOCl followed by applying the Dentin Adhesit$^{(R)}$ Group 7: applied Photo Bond on the unetched dentin followed by applying the Photo Clearfil Bright Group 8: Etched with 30% phosphoric acid followed by applying Photo Bond and Photo Clearfil Bright Group 9: etched with 10-3 solution followed by applying Photo Bond and Photo Clearfil Bright All the specimens were stored in $37^{\circ}C$ under 50% relative humidity for 24 hours before observations. The specimens in 7, 8, and 9 group, omitting the group 1 to 6, were demineralized in 10% HCl for 10s in order to observe the resin tags. All the specimens in each group were then dried at room temperature. The dried specimens were ion coated with Eiko ion coater (Eiko-engineering Co.), and observed in Hitachi S-430 Scanning electron microscope (Hitachi, Co. Tokyo) at 15KV. The following results were obtained as follows; 1. The smear layers were still remained in group 1,2,4,5, and 6. 2. There is no effect of 5% NaOCl and 30% phosphoric acid on the changes of dentin morphology 3. The dentin treated with 10-3 solution, indicating the tubules opened when the smear layer and the dental plug dissolved. 4. In case of applying the bonding agents the resin tag was not formed at the deep area of dentinal tubules, but in case of applying the Dentin Adhesit$^{(R)}$ that was not.

As the necessity of maker education is being emphasized and the app generation is now entering school, expectations concerning the impact of app development education are rising in the field of education. The introduction and rise in popularity of a new type of education, such as app development education, requires a change in attitude among teachers. Therefore, this study focused on the concerns of in-service teachers regarding app development education by applying the Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM) of Hall and Hord (2015). For this purpose, the data was collected from 23 in-service teachers who attended a short teacher training session that introduced app development training. The data was converted to the relative intensity based on the stage of concerns questionnaire (SoCQ) scoring device and was expressed as the SoCQ profile. The results of the survey concerning app development education showed that the stage 0 concern (unconcerned) was reported most frequently by teachers and the stage 4 concern (consequence) was reported least frequently. This kind of result, which is typical at the beginning of the introduction of a new education program, indicates that teachers recognize app development education but do not have sufficient information regarding it. Qualitative results also showed that teachers understand the educational possibilities of app development education, but they were worried about the difficulties expected to be applied in the field. Based on these results, we suggest that more detailed information on app development education be provided through teacher training.

This paper presents a transceiver design for DisplayPort interface using an optical channel. By converting the electronic channel to the optical channel, the DisplayPort's main channel can provide a high-speed data transmission for long distance. The design converting the electronic channel to the optical channel in the main channel and AUX channel of the DisplayPort is presented in this paper. Futhermore, the HPD signal transmission by using AUX channel is proposed. In order to minimize power consumption, this paper also proposed a method of controlling the TX block in the main link. The proposed system is designed by a FPGA and an optical module. The FPGA used 651 ALUT(adaptive look-up table)s, 511 resisters and 324 block memory bits. The maximum operating rate of the FPGA is 250MHz. With the proposed power control scheme, 740mW of power dissipation reduction can be achieved at the main link optical TX module.

The present study was performed to investigate the efficacy and safety of laser assisted hatching (AH) on mouse embryos. Non-contact $1.48{\mu}m$ diode laser system used to create a precise hole on zona pellucida. 2-cell embryos were collected from the mice (ICR) that had the coitus vaginal plug confirmed at 48 hours after hCG injection. Collected 2-cell embryos were cultured in the HTF medium supplemented with 0.4% BSA. For experiments, embryos at 8-cell stage were used after 18-22 hours in culture. After assisted hatching, the embryos were further cultured in HTF medium containing 0.1% PVP (anti-hatching system) for 3 days. For evaluate efficiency of laser on mouse embryo hatching, the effect of AH methods (acidic tyrode, pronase and laser), the number of artificial holes (1, 2 and 3 hole) and the irradiation time of laser (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 ms) were examined. Hatching rates of laser AH group (95.2%) was significantly higher than that of control group (50.8%), but there was no differences among the laser (95.2%), acidic tyrode (100%) and pronase (98.5%) groups. Hatching rates of the number of zona pellucida opening by laser, there were no differences among the 1 hole (87.5%),2 hole (92.1%) and 3 hole (85.9%) groups. Developmental and hatching rates of embryos according to laser irradiation time were similar in the treatment groups. Therefore, these results suggest that laser AH using non-contact $1.48{\mu}m$ diode laser is a simple and accurate and effective procedure for AH. Based on these results, laser AH could be use safely for human ART program.

Recently, supercomputer has been increasingly adopted as a computing environment for scientific simulation as well as education, healthcare and national defence. Especially, supercomputing system with heterogeneous computing resources is gaining resurgence of interest as a next-generation problem solving environment, allowing theoretical and/or experimental research in various fields to be free of time and spatial limits. However, traditional supercomputing services have only been handled through a simple form of command-line based console, which leads to the critical limit of accessibility and usability of heterogeneous computing resources. To address this problem, in this paper, we provide the design and implementation of web-based HPC (High Performance Computing) job management framework for computational scientific simulation. The proposed framework has highly extensible design principles, providing the abstraction interfaces of job scheduler (as well as bundle scheduler plug-ins for LoadLeveler, Sun Grid Engine, OpenPBS scheduler) in order to easily incorporate the broad spectrum of heterogeneous computing resources such as cluster, computing cloud and grid. We also present the detailed specification of HTTP standard based RESTful endpoints, which manage simulation job's life-cycles such as job creation, submission, control and status monitoring, etc., enabling various 3rd-party applications to be newly created on top of the proposed framework.
This study was carried out to investigate the effect of nursery period and block size on seedling quality and fruit yield of paprika (Capsicum annuum L. 'Cupra'). Seeds of paprika (Capsicum annuum L., Cupra) were sown in rockwool plugs. Seedlings were transferred and grown to the rockwool block different sizes: $5{\times}5$, $7.5{\times}7.5$ and $10{\times}10cm$ at sowing after 15 days. The plants were transplanted by 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 days we planted the seeds to the rockwool slabs. Seedling growth was not influenced by block size in the 25 day old plant, since then growed poorly with increasing nursery period in the $5{\times}5cm$ block size, plant height, stem diameter, fresh weight, dry weight have no difference from $10{\times}10cm$ and $7.5{\times}7.5cm$, but leaves and leaf area were higher $10{\times}10cm$ than the $7.5{\times}7.5cm$ block size. Growth of the paprika in field 80 days after sawing did not differ from nursery period and block size below 35 days old, but decreased with increasing nursery period and decreasing block size beyond 40 days old. Flowering did not differ from nursery period and block size below 35 days, but delayed with increasing nursery period and decreasing block size beyond 40 days old. The highest yield was obtained from 30 and 35 days old, and decreased with increasing nursery period and decreasing block size beyond 40 days old.

The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture and shear bonding strength of resin-modified glass ionomer cements with composite resin and conventional glass ionomer cement Three kinds of restorative materials including a composite resin (Z 100), a conventional glass ionomer cement(Fuji II), and resin- modified glass ionomer cements(Fuji II LC, Vitremer, Dyract and Compoglass) were investigated in this study. For measurement of fracture and shear bonding strength, disk samples of the materials were prepared and cylindrical samples of the materials were bonded the flat enamel and dentin surfaces according to manufactuer's instructions. All specimen were determinated by using an Instron testing machine with a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min. Then, each treated enamel and dentin surface was observed by SEM. The following results were obtained. 1. The bi-axial flexural strength of Z 100 was highest, and Fuji n LC, Vitremer, Dyract and Compoglass were significantly higher than Fuji n (P<0.05). 2. The shear bonding strength of Z 100 on the enamel and dentin surface was higher than other experimental groups except Fuji II LC(P<0.05). Fuji II LC was significantly higher than Fuji II (P<0.05), but in the case of Vitremer, Dyract and Compoglass were similar to Fuji II (P>0.05). 3. The shear bonding strength of Z 100 and Fuji II LC on the enamel surface were highly increased as compared with dentin surface (P<0.05), but in the case of Fuji II, Vitremer, Dyract and Compoglass were not different between enamel and dentin(P>0.05). 4. In the Z 100 and Fuji II LC, obvious etched enamel surface and exposed dentinal tubules according to remove of smear layer and smear plug were observed.
Commercially produced 'baby leaves' of Brassica campestris var. narinosa (Chinese cabbage) were used in the present study. Baby leaf vegetables were sown on 128 cell plug trays and harvested 30 days after sowing. For mechanical stress experiments, seedlings were thinned to three per cell, selected for uniformity, and watered at the base. Trays were treated with mechanical stress by stroking back and forth 50 times, using a sheet of A4 paper folded to double thickness. Plants were treated between 12:00 and 14:00 daily for 15-20 days. Harvested baby leaf vegetables were packed in MAP salad bags made of P-plus film, $50{\mu}m$ polypropylene (PP) film, and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) boxes. Fresh weight was well-maintained under P-plus and PP film on storage at $8^{\circ}C$. However, loss of fresh weight occurred quickly in PET boxes, and vegetable quality deteriorated rapidly. Stressed leaves were smaller but thicker, with an increased dry weight ratio. We thus suggest that P-plus or PP film is most appropriate packing for marketing of baby leaf vegetables, which should be stored at $8^{\circ}C$. Our data on baby leaf vegetables also make a significant new contribution in that we demonstrate a positive effect of stress touching on baby leaf processability.
To investigate the effects of different wavelengths of photosynthetically active radiation on the morphology and leaf color changes of a single tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) seedling, we stored the seedling at $10{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$ under eight different wavelengths (peak wavelengths; 405, 450, 505, 545, 600, 645, 680, and 700 nm) with a constant photosynthetic photon flux of $3{\mu}mol\;m^{-2}s^{-l}$ for 28 d. Under the 405, 450, and 505 nm wavelength conditions, the leaves of the seedlings showed vigorous shape with an upright morphology. Rachis elongation was suppressed and hence compact appearance was observed under the 450 and 505 urn conditions. Although the difference in leaf color between before storage and on 28 days after storage was observed under all wavelength conditions, the 405 and 700 um irradiations changed the leaf color to light green. Application of light-emitting diode (LED) light irradiated from around 450 to 545 nm can contribute to vigorous shape with an upright morphology of tomato seedlings during low light irradiation-low temperature storage.
This study was carried to select artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) varieties that can be cultivated in non-heated greenhouse during winter in Jeju Island in Korea. Artichoke varieties namely, 'Purple Romagna' (Neseed Co.), 'Imperial Star' (Keithley Williams Seed Co.), 'Green Globe' (Park Seed Co.), 'Emerald' (Ferry-morse Seed Co.), 'Italian' (Unknown), and 'Carciofo Di Romagna' (Lortolano), were raised in a plug tray with 72 cells for two months and transplanted in a non-heated greenhouse on October 5, 2004. The first harvesting of 'Emerald' and 'Imperial Star' were the earliest and April 26 and 27, 2005 respectively. Most of the varieties were harvested from early May to June 2005. The number of head per plant was the highest in 'Green Globe' with more than five heads and the lowest were recorded in 'Italian' with one head or less. The weight of heads per plant was more than 228 g in 'Purple Romagna', 'Imperial Star' and 'Green Globe'. The highest yield was in 'Green Globe' with 2,172 kg/10a, followed by 'Imperial Star' with 1,947 kg/10a. Accordingly, it is considered that 'Green Globe' and 'Imperial Star' are adequate for the high-yield cultivation in non-heated greenhouse in Jeju Island. They can be harvested from the April to June when cultivated from the early October of the previous year.
