A Study on the Holographic Optical Element for Multiple Image Processing (다중 영상처리용 홀로그래피 광학소자에 관한 연구)

  • Holographic optical element(HOE) is fabricated with the properties of lightweight, thin thickness and interconnectivity for free space. Particularly, HOE for optical interconnection and multiple image processing should have a high efficiency and equal spot intensity, Nonlinear equations for 2-dimensional binary phase grating(BPG) structure is solved by computer simulation based on modified Newton method. Computer-generated pattern drawn by plotter is scaled down and translated into the microfilm. After contact printing between the microfilm and silver halide hologram film, phase diffraction grating produces the $5{\times}5$ multiple spots. Experimental results are shown that bleached phase grating has a high efficiency and equal focused beams except central zero order.

  • In a grid based data transformation, the different gridding methods provide different interpretations of scattered data because each method calculate grid node values using a different weighted mathematical algorithms. Therefore, it is necessary to review the interpolated characteristics of some gridding methods according to search distance, search area and search options before determing the best method with a data set. For this, in this paper, six different gridding methods with the same search conditions are applied to a scattered data obtained from sterro-plotter. The interpolated characteristics of the scattered geographic data considered through comparison of coincidence between the data point and the grid node being interpolated. And also, shows the real application of gridding methods through calculating volumes and creating cross sections.

The Estimation of DTM Accuracy of Aerial Digital Image with Non-photogrammetric Scanner (비 측량용 주사기에 의한 항공수치영상의 DTM 정확도 평가)

  • This study describes the precise DTM by image processing method through scanning the positive film of aerial photo using scanner instead of plotter. First, scanned the positive film of aerial photo by drum scanner and flatbed scanner in different resolution, and then compared the height from image processing method using auto correlation method with height which is taken using $50^m{\times}50^m$ grid in 1 :5,000 geographical map. It shows that heights from aerial photo image of high resolution obtained from scanner are comparable to the heights from 1:5,000 geographical map.

  • In order to accomplish the digital map production I/O devices should be used which are used for data input procedure to convert original paper map(hardcopy) data into computer compatible digital map data, and for the mapsheet output procedure of worked out data. For the input device, digitizer and scanner are most frequently used. Digitizer has possibility of direct production of digital data, and are mainly used for input procedure of partly plotted source map. In contrary, scanner is rather easy to operate the instrument, so that is widely used for the input procedure of original sheet map. In this study, to extract the input device characteristics, some kinds of digitizers and scanners were cheesed and used for the positional error analysis through the operational method and types of instruments. Also for the output device characteristics, some kinds of plotter and materials are used and compared to analyze the positional error through the instrumental types and output sheet materials.

  • Recently, the digital map of national basemap has been made through NGIS(National Geographic Information System) project in Korea. The digital map should have to be corrected or updated to cope with the changes in topography in future. For that, the efficient method correspond with digital map should be presented. Digital photogrammetric system has been considered as an efficient method for digital mapping because it provides the results in digital form, but the system if not fully tested because the commercial system is in early stage. This study aims to present the way to correct or update digital map using the digital photogrammetric system. Digital mapping in the environment of digitalphotogrammetric system was executed and the results were analyzed and compared with those from analytical plotter.

  • The purpose of the suudy was to develop a computer program for pattern mating of women's pant's. Computerization of the pattern making process was expected to provide higher accuracy and efficiency in pattern mating. The VAX-11/750 Computer and the CALCOMP PLOTTER 965 were used in this study. The procedures of the study were as follows : 1. A slacks pattern was selected. 2. The co-ordinate points were indicated relative location of all necessary in draffing. Total sixty co-ordinate points were instituted from (AX(1), AY(1)) to (AX(24), AY(24)), from (BX(1), BY(1)) to (BX(36), BY(36)). 3. A program for drafting was developed. Refer to (Table 3). 4. The procedures of drading of standard size were accomplished by using same method. The program was developed to drafting pattern for women by putting indivisual body measurement. The body measurements for stacks pattern were as follows : slacks length. Croach length. Hip length. nip circumference. waist circumference.

A Study on Tissue Reflectance Spectrometry (생체조직의 반사 분광법에 관한 연구)

  • Optical measurements of turbid biological tissue have provided a means to study tissue metabolism, tissue blood perfusion and blood oxygenation non-invasively. We used the red light of 660nm and infrared of 880nm to measure the blood fractional volume and oxygen saturation of biological tissue. In vivo reflectance data were obtained the physiological change from the deep tissue in human subject. The data evaluation was assessed by examining the slopes of the plotter index for the changes in oxygen saturation and blood fraction volume. The index is the natural logarithm of the ratio of reflected light intensity from measured medium to reference intensity at each wavelength. According to the experimental results, oxygen index changes significantly in the muscle of calf during exercise.

Zinc Finger E-box binding Homeobox 1 as Prognostic Biomarker and its Correlation with Infiltrating Immune Cells and Telomerase in Lung Cancer

  • The aim of this study was to identify the expression of zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1), its prognostic significance, and correlation between ZEB1 and infiltrating immune cells in lung cancer. Correlation between ZEB1 and telomerase was also analyzed in different types of cancers. RNA sequencing analysis and survival rates of patients were confirmed by Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA). The Kaplan-Meier plotter and PrognoScan databases were used to analyze the prognostic value of ZEB1 in various cancers. The Tumor IMmune Estimation Resource (TIMER) was used to determine the correlation between ZEB1 and infiltrating immune cells. Lower ZEB1 expression was lower in lung cancer and was related to poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). ZEB1 expression exhibited a significantly positive correlation with infiltration levels of immune cells in LUAD and lung squamous cell carcinoma. Furthermore, we found that the ZEB1 expression correlated with subunits of telomerase. Our findings suggest ZEB1 as a potential biomarker to be used for prognostic significance and tumor immunology in lung cancer. The correlation between the expression of ZEB1 and telomere-related gene will help in understand the cancer-promoting mechanisms.

  • In this paper, the development of a high performance flexible controller is described. The hardware of the controller, based on VME-bus, consists of four M68020 single-board computers (32-bit) with M68881 numerical coprocessors, two M68040 single board donputers, I/O devices (such as A/D and D/A converters, paraller I/O, encoder counters), and bus-to-bus adaptor. This software, written in C and based on X-window environment with Unix operating system, includes : text editor, compiler, downloader, and plotter running in a host computer for developing control program ; device drivers, scheduler, and mathemetical routines for the real time control purpose ; message passing, file server, source level debugger virtural terminal, etc. The hardware and software are structured so that the controller might have both flexibility and extensibility. In papallel to the controller, a three degrees of freedom kinematically redundant robot has been developed at the same time. The development of the same time. The development of the robot was undertaken in order to provide, on the one hand, a computationally intensive plant to which to apply the controller, and on the other hand a research tool in the field of kinematically redundant manipulator, which is, as such, an important area. By using the controller, dynamic control of the redundant manipulator was successfully experimented, showing the effectiveness and flexibility of the controller.

The Generation of 3D Geospatial Data using Digital Photogrammetry System (수치사진측량시스템을 이용한 3차원 공간데이터 구축)

  • Aerial photogrammetry, which is one of the most frequent used technology in mapping and surveying, has been appreciated for its work flow and accuracy to generate 2D and 3D geospatial data. In aerial photograrnrnetry, more than two photographs are taken over the same target area in different position with overlap. Using these photographs and minimum number of ground control points, 3D stereo model is so formed that the ground surface in reality is reconstructed through analogue/analytical plotter or digital photogrammetry system. In case of digital photogrammetry system, 3D geospatial data could be automatically extracted in partial. Recently, in the advent of aerial digital camera such as ADS40 and DMC, digital photogrammetry system will be in the frist place for generating 3D geospatial data. In this paper, we experimentally generated 3D geospatial data using digital photograrnrnetry system in the aspect of work flow.
