The Predictive QSAR Model for hERG Inhibitors Using Bayesian and Random Forest Classification Method

  • In this study, we have developed a ligand-based in-silico prediction model to classify chemical structures into hERG blockers using Bayesian and random forest modeling methods. These models were built based on patch clamp experimental results. The findings presented in this work indicate that Laplacian-modified naive Bayesian classification with diverse selection is useful for predicting hERG inhibitors when a large data set is not obtained.

  • This paper introduces platform of platform (POP) for global network on climate adaptation change and disaster risk reduction (CCA/DRR). The POP consists of disaster prevention technology e-market platform, e-learning platform, information sharing platform, and monitoring platform for AMCDRR action plan. The POP is developing based on Korean e-Government standard framework and supports Web and mobile service. Additionally the POP uses special product and technology to search and classify data about CCA/DRR.

  • In order to solve the urban problems caused by the increase of the urban population, the construction of smart city applying the latest technology is being carried out all over the world. In particular, we will create a smart city platform that utilizes data generated in the city to collect and store and analyze, thereby enhancing the city's continuous competitiveness and resilience and enhancing the quality of life of citizens. However, existing smart city platforms are not enough to construct a platform for smart city as a platform for solution elements such as IoT platform, big data platform, and AI platform. To complement this, we will reanalyze the existing overseas smart city platform and IoT platform in a comprehensive manner, combine the technical elements applied to it, and apply it to the future Korean smart city platform. This paper aims to investigate the trends of smart city platforms used in domestic and foreign countries and analyze the technology applied to smart city to study smart city platforms that solve various problems of the city such as environment, energy, safety, traffic, environment.

  • Manufacturing technology platform for automotive and mobile industries has been constructed since 2009, for the platform technology project funded by ministry of knowledge and economics. Technology platform in laser welding has also been developed for automotive steel sheets with a strength up to 1GPa. Laser welding technology platform will provide welding characteristics for various laser sources, steel plates and welding conditions. This article shortly explains outline of laser welding technology platform and partially introduces the developed laser welding data base.

  • A tangible floating display that can provide different perspective views without special glasses being introduced. The proposed system can display perspective floating images in the space in front of the system with the help of concave mirrors. In order to avoid wearing special equipment to interact and deliver the sense of touch, the proposed system adopted an ultrasound focusing technology. For providing an immersive experience to the viewers, the proposed system consists of a tangible floating display system and a multiple-view imaging system for generating three lenticular displays in front of the users.

  • Our study introduces an improved modular agricultural platform to provide convenience to agricultural workers. We upgrade the platform design in three parts, namely, by adding a 458 pattern tire, electricity control, and four-wheel steering function, to improve the platform performance. Results showed that the upgrades enhanced the platform performance and reduced its overall weight as compared with the existing platform. To demonstrate the performance of our improved platform, we conducted five types of experiments with respect to the climbing angle, variable width, attitude control, speed, and obstacle passing.

  • 다감각 자극을 사용한 유치원 교육콘텐츠 서비스를 제공하기 위해 머리중심적 움직임 분석을 사용한 감성인식 기술을 개발하였다. 유치원 교육콘텐츠는 청각/후각/시각 등의 다감각 자극을 통해 교육서비스의 효과를 극대화하기 위한 목적으로 제작되었다. 본 연구에서는 다감각 자극동안 유치원생들의 감성유발을 측정하여 교육서비스 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 인식기술을 개발하였다. 개발한 인식기술은 카메라를 사용하여 상단영상을 측정하고, 머리중심점 움직임을 지속적으로 측정하여 분석함으로써 유발된 감성을 인식한다. 또한 감성인식 결과는 다감각 자극을 제어하는 시스템에 전달되어 다감각 자극을 제시하기 위한 정보로 활용된다. 본 연구의 결과로 교육콘텐츠의 감성유발 결과를 평가할 수 있으며, 효과를 극대화 하기 위한 도구로써 활용가능하였다. 더욱이, 교육콘텐츠 뿐만 아니라 다양한 콘텐츠 서비스 공간에 적용하여 효과 검증 및 서비스 효과 증가에 활용될 수 있는 기술로써 가치가 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • Purpose - The domestic technology trading market is composed of a technology trading platform with the participation of technology trading institutions. The institution that operates the technology trading platform provides various support for technology transaction. The purpose of this study is to suggest improvement plans through analysis of the services provided by the technology trading platform. Design/methodology/approach - TA model was built based on existing research and the importance and satisfaction of each evaluation item of the model were identified through the hierarchical analysis process and expert opinion gathering. Then importance-satisfaction correlation analysis was applied. Findings - As a result of analyzing the importance of the technology trading platform, supply technology information, technology value evaluation, and demand technology information are in order. Technology marketing and demand technology information are areas that require focus management and there are differences according to experience and low-skilled people suggest the need to improve technology value evaluation service. Research implications or Originality - This study is significant in that it evaluated the operational performance of a technology trading platform that had not been addressed for 15 years and suggested improvement measures. Initially a series of technology transaction processes such as technology value evaluation technology matching and technology commercialization support were expanded from simple information on previous technology and this study includes these changes.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze what are the key determinants in selection of mobile banking technology platform, main challenges in a given developments of technology as well as rate the importance of factors in regards to various criterions. In addition, this paper proposes comprehensive approach for solving mobile banking technology platform selection problem. To serve the purpose, this paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to select best mobile banking technology platform for not only in functionality aspect, but also in organizational aspect. We expect that the results of this study will be useful for banks who have intention to select mobile banking technology platform in the future.
