In this paper, we propose a preprocess method to needs for Car License Plate Recognition on poor environment. This preprocess method use multi images to get low value to compare images value. Last method was Opening operation that Using Edge pixel to add and subtraction. The Result was removed White pixel and very mini feather. But This method needs many process times and License Plate Recognition is low quality problem. Another method is median filter and conversion. This paper key idea that rain & snow is high value. So This paper propose get low value to compare image value.

This paper has the objects of deciding dynamic instability regions of thick plates on inhomogeneous Pasternak foundation by finite element method and providing kinematic design data for mats and slabs of building structures. In this paper, dynamic stability analysis of tapered opening thick plate is done by use of Serendipity finite element with 8 nodes considering shearing strain of plate. To verify this finite element method, buckling stress and natural frequencies of thick pate with or without in-plane stress are compared with existing solutions. The results are as follow that this finite element solutions with $4{\times}4$ meshes are shown the error of maximum 0.56% about existing solutions, and the larger foundation parameters, the farther dynamic instability regions are from vertical axis of graph presented relation of ${\beta}\;and\;\overline{\omega}/\omega$.

Variable thickness plates are commonly used as structural members in the majority of industrial sectors. Previous fracture mechanics researches on variable thickness plates were limited to mode I loading cases. In practice, however, cracks are usually located inclined to the loading direction. In this respect, combined mode(mode I/II) stress intensity factors $K_{I}$ and $K_{II}$ at the crack tip for a variable thickness plate were obtained by 3-dimensional finite element analysis. Variable thickness plates containing a slant edge crack were chosen. The parameters used in this study were dimensionless crack $length{\lambda}$, slant $angle{\alpha}$, thickness $ratio{\beta}$ and width ratio{\omega}$. Stress intensity factors were calculated by crack opening displacement(COD) and crack sliding displacement(CSD)method proposed by Ingraffea and Manu.

A simple and efficient vibration analysis procedure for stiffened panels with openings and arbitrary boundary conditions based on the assumed mode method is presented. Natural frequencies and modes are determined by solving an eigenvalue problem of a multi-degree-of-freedom system matrix equation derived by using Lagrange's equations of motion, where Mindlin theory is applied for plate and Timoshenko beam theory for stiffeners. The effect of stiffeners on vibration response is taken into account by adding their strain and kinetic energies to the corresponding plate energies whereas the strain and kinetic energies of openings are subtracted from the plate energies. Different stiffened panels with various opening shapes and dispositions for several combinations of boundary conditions are analyzed and the results show good agreement with those obtained by the finite element analysis. Hence, the proposed procedure is especially appropriate for use in the preliminary design stage of stiffened panels with openings.
In this paper, fluttering behavior of mechanical bileaflet heart valve prosthesis was analyzed taking into consideration of the impact between valve plate and stopper Vibration system of the valve was modeled as a rotating system, and equations are induced by moment equilibrium equations. Lift force, drag force, gravity and buoyancy were considered as external forces acting on the valve plate/ The 4th order Runge-Kutta method was used to solve the equations. Valve plate does not come to the static equilibrium position at a stretch, but come to that position after under damping vibration. Damping ratio increases as the cardiac optput increases, and the mean damping ratio is in the range of 0.16~40.25. Fluttering frequency does not have any specific value, but varies as a function of time. It is in the range of 10~40Hz. Valve opening appears to be affected by the orientation of the of the valve relative to gravitational forces.
Variable thickness plates are commonly encountered in the majority of mechanical/structural components of industrial applications. And, as a result of the unsymmetry of the structure or the load and the anisoptropy of the materials, the cracks in engineering structures are generally subjected to combined stresses. In spite of considerable practical interest, however, a few fracture mechanics study on combined mode crack in a variable thickness plate have carried out. In this respect, combined mode I/III stress intensity factors $K_I$ and $K_III$ at the crack tip for a variable thickness plate were obtained by 3-dimensional finite element analysis. Variable thickness plates containing a central slant crack were chosen. The parameters used in this study were dimensionless crack length $\lamda$, crack slant angle $\alpha$, thickness ratio $\beta$ and width ratio $\omega$. Stress intensity factors were calculated by crack opening displacement(COD) and crack tearing displacement(CTD) method.
Recently, for more demands of the economical benefits and environmental conservation, many engineers prefer to choose remodeling. Artificial openings are often unavoidable to make house wider, which will degrade wall strength and stiffness by losing effective wall section that may cause the weakening of system capacity. In these cases the damaged shear walls need to be retrofitted by additional materials or members. In this research, four specimens were tested to investigate the capacity of the damaged wall and the retrofitted wall. The artificially damaged wall was prestressed by tendons to improve the shear capacity of the wall, and the other walls were retrofitted by adding steel plate at the surface for the same purpose. Consequently, these retrofitted walls had improved capacity and stiffness in both shear and flexure. Especially, the wall with steel plate showed ductile behavior after ultimate load and the prestressed wall had greater stiffness than the unstrengthened prototype wall.
Objective: To analyze the microimplant (MI) displacement pattern on treatment with a maxillary skeletal expander (MSE) using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: Thirty-nine participants (12 males and 27 females; mean age, 18.2 ± 4.2 years) were treated successfully with the MSE II appliance. Their pre- and post-expansion CBCT data were superimposed. The pre- and post-expansion anterior and posterior inter-MI angles, neck and apical inter-MI distance, plate angle, palatal bone thickness at the MI positions, and suture opening at the MI positions were measured and compared. Results: The jackscrew plate was slightly bent in both anterior and posterior areas. There was no significant difference in the extent of suture opening between the anterior and posterior MIs (P > 0.05). The posterior MI to hemiplate line was greater than that anteriorly (P < 0.05). The apical distance between the posterior MIs was greater than that anteriorly (P < 0.05). The palatal thickness at the anterior MIs was significantly greater than that posteriorly (P > 0.01). Conclusions: In the coronal plane, the angulation between the anterior MIs in relation to the jackscrew plate was greater than that between the posterior MIs owing to the differential palatal bone thickness.
Complete removal of three-compartment trigeminal schwannomas is a challenge to neurosurgeons. To expand exposure of each compartment, the combination and modification of skull base approaches are necessary. The 61-year-old woman was admitted with chronic headache. Preoperative magnetic resonance imaging showed $47{\times}50{\times}40\;mm$-sized tumor originating primarily in the middle cranial fossa extended to the posterior and the infratemporal fossa. We performed operation in five stage; 1. Zygomatic osteotomy, 2. Inferior temporal fossa plate removal and foramen ovale opening, 3. Cavernous sinus opening, 4. Tailored anterior petrosectomy, 5. Meckel's cave opening. Combination of skull base surgery should be concerned according to the patient. In this study, extradural basal extension with zygomatic osteotomy, interdural posterior extension with tailored anterior petrosectomy, and intracavemous exploration are reasonable options for remodeling three-compartment lesion into a single compartment. Tailoring of bone resection and exploring through natural pathway between meningeal layers accomplish single-stage operation for complete removal of tumors.

Fatigue crack growth behavior was investigated in the center cracked plate of KS SB41 steel and the relation between the crack growth rate and various mechanical parameters was studied at small scale yielding, large scale yielding and full scale yielding. The crack opening ratio U was about 0.6-0.8 and had the larger value in the case of load control than that of strain control. Effective stress intensity factor range, .DELTA.K$_{eff}$ and J integral range, .DELTA.J were obtained from the notion of crack opening, and the crack growth rate was expressed with these values. The value of J integral range increased rapidly at stress ratio, R=0 in full scale yielding of load control test. COD value also increased rapidly with the increase of ligament net stress at large scale yielding of load control test.t.
