광투과 전자파 차폐필름의 특성 (Characteristics of Transparent Electromagnetic Wave Shielding Film)

  • 본 논문에서는 표면저항을 이용한 차폐성능 및 다층박막의 광학설계 후, roll- to-roll DC 스퍼터링 공정을 이용하여 PET(Polyethylene terephtalate) 필름위에 투명 전도성 산화물 박막인 ITO와 금속을 다층박막 구조(Multilayer)로 균질하게 증착한 전파차폐필름을 1m 넓이로 제작하고 광투과 및 전파차폐특성을 조사하였다. 각 층의 면저항 및 두께에 따라서 전자파 차폐성능과 광투과도를 최적화 할 수 있도록 설계되었고, 그 조건에 따라 필름을 제작하였다. 제작된 전파차폐필름은 2-18GHz 대역에서 99.5%의 차폐성능을 나타내었으며, 400-700 nm에서의 전광선 투과율은 83.1%로 우수한 시인성과 전파차폐특성을 보유하였다.

Ti(Al,O)/$Al_2O_3$ 플라즈마 코팅한 SS41의 고온산화 거동 (High Temperature Oxidation Behavior of Plasma-sprayed Ti(Al,O)/$Al_2O_3$ Coatings on SS41 Steel)

  • High velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) spraying was used to coat Ti(Al,O)/$Al_2O_3$ powder onto the SS41 steel plate. Macrostructure of the coated specimen has been investigated by scanning electron micrograph (SEM). High temperature oxidation behavior of the coated specimen and SS41 steel have been studied. From the results of SEM observation, Ti(Al,O)/$Al_2O_3$ powder was coated well onto the substrate SS41 steel. Porosity onto the coated layer was only 0.38%. The oxidation results showed that Ti(Al,O)/$Al_2O_3$ powder coated SS41 steel have improved little oxidation resistance at $900^{\circ}C$ in air, but improved remarkably oxidation resistance at $800^{\circ}C $ in air compare to the substrate SS41 steel.

수소화된 비정질 탄소박막(a-C:H)에 의한 안경렌즈 코팅 (Ophthalmic Lens Coating by a-C:H Film)

  • 마이크로웨이브 플라즈마 화학증착법을 이용하여 C-H계에서 메탄 농도를 변화시키면서 각각의 농도 변화에 따른 증착상의 변화 거동을 관찰하였는데 메탄 농도가 증가함에 따라 성장 속도는 증가하지만 다이아몬드 박막내 비다이아몬드 성분의 양이 많아지며 결정성이 떨어졌다. Raman 분광으로부터 D 피크($sp^3$)와 G 피크($sp^2$)의 상대적인 세기로부터 $sp^3/sp^2$, 수소함량에 대한 경향성을 알 수가 있었으며 FTIR 분광으로부터 수소함량은 16~37%, $sp/sp^2$은 0.22~1.14로 변화하였다. 이들 결과로부터 최적의 제작조건은 메탄 분압비 13.8%임을 알 수가 있었다.

Luminous phosphor with modified surface composition and microwave treatment for plasma planar back light

  • Highly luminescent efficiency phosphors have been successfully produced by surface modification and microwave irradiation treatment. The SEM image and XRD analysis reveal that the surface morphology of the white-light phosphors can be notably modified by microwave irradiation and exhibit with better crystalline property. The VUV PL spectra show that the microwave irradiation treatment can effectively enhance the luminescent efficiency by a factor of 1.5 times for intensity compared to that without microwave treatment. A further improvement in all visible emission can be made by modifying surface composition through MgO coating on the phosphor powder. These results demonstrate that such a simple approach can provide for improving luminescent efficiency of phosphors for the optoelectronic devices.

PECVD SiNx 박막의 다결정 실리콘 태양전지에 미치는 영향 (Influence of PECVD SiNx Layer on Multicrystalline Silicon Solar Cell)

  • Silicon nitride $(SiN_x)$ film is a promising material for anti-reflection coating and passivation of multicrystalline silicon (me-Si) solar cells. In this work, a plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) system with batch-type reactor tube was used to prepare highly robust $SiN_x$ films for screen-printed mc-Si solar cells. The Gas flow ratio, $R=[SiH_4]/[NH_3]$, in a mixture of silane and ammonia was varied in the range of 0.0910.235 while maintaining the total flow rate of the process gases to 4,200 sccm. The refractive index of the $SiN_x$ film deposited with a gas flow ratio of 0.091 was measured to be 2.03 and increased to 2.37 as the gas flow ratio increased to 0.235. The highest efficiency of the cell was $14.99\%$ when the flow rate of $SiH_4$ was 350 sccm (R=0.091). Generally, we observed that the efficiency of the mc-Si solar cell decreased with increasing R. From the analysis of the reflectance and the quantum efficiency of the cell, the decrease in the efficiency was shown to originate mainly from an increase in the surface reflectance for a high flow rate of $SiH_4$ during the deposition of $SiN_x$ films.

저온 플라즈마와 광촉매에 의한 NO/SO2 제거 (Removal of NO/SO2 by the low temperature plasmas and photocatalysts)

  • In this study, we analyzed the effects of several process variables on the removal efficiencies of NO and $SO_2$ by the dielectric barrier discharge process combined with photocatalysts. The $TiO_2$ photocatalysts were coated onto the spherical-shaped glass beads as dielectric materials by the dip-coating method to analyze the effects of photodegradation reaction on the NO and $SO_2$ removal. As the voltage applied to the plasma reactor increases, or as the pulse frequency of applied voltage increases, the NO and $SO_2$ removal efficiencies increase. Also as the residence time increases, or as the initial concentration of NO decreases, the NO and $SO_2$ removal efficiencies increase. The higher the amount of $TiO_2$ particles coated onto the glass bead is, the larger the surface area of $TiO_2$ particles for the photodegradation reaction is and the NO and $SO_2$ are removed more quickly by the faster photodegradation reactions.

누수 최소화를 위한 립 타입 전자력 플랩 밸브 (Lip Type Electromagnetic Flap Valve for Low Leakage)

  • This paper reports on a flexible flap valve actuated by electromagnetic force under a constant pressure source. The flexible flap valve consists of the three main components: a flexible flap with a steel disk embedded in PDMS, an electromagnetic actuator and two glass plates with inlet and outlet. Sealing lip structures for improving the valve characteristics are added on the outlet of the bottom glass substrate. The flap valve is fabricated by the spin-coating process, the EDM process, SU-8 mold process and oxygen plasma treatment. The dimension of an assembled flap valve is $12mm{\times}20mm{\times}28mm$. The stroke volume of the flap valve is measured for various pressures and open times. When the input voltage of 30 V is applied for 0.33 s, the minimum stroke volume of the flap valve is 70 ${\mu}L$ at 50 kPa.

  • A more accurate life prediction for gas turbine blade takes into account the material behavior under the complex thermo-mechanical fatigue(TMF) cycles normally encountered in turbine operation. An experimental program has been carried out to address the thermo-mechanical fatigue life of the IN738LC nickel-base superalloy. In the first phase of the study, out-of-phase and in-phase TMF experiments have been performed on uncoated and coated materials. In the temperature range investigated. the deposition of NiCrAlY air plasma sprayed coating did not affect the fatigue resistance. In the second phase of the study, a physically-base life prediction model that takes into account of the contribution of different damage mechanisms has been applied. This model was able to reflect the temperature and strain rate dependences of isothermal cycling fatigue lives, and the strain-temperature history effect on the thermo-mechanical fatigue lives.

  • The spacer, which is located between the bucket and the arm of an excavator, has a role in preventing damage to the excavator arm during excavation work. When the durability of the spacer is increased, the lifetime of the arm can be extended and the processing costs can be reduced. To increase the durability of the spacer, tungsten carbide (WC) coating was applied on the surface of a spacer using the plasma transferred arc (PTA) process. The confirm the durability, a wear test using a pin-on disk type of wear testing machine was done under the given conditions and the wear amount on the surface of a tested specimen was measured using reflective digital holography. The results were compared with that of ALPHA-STEP.

  • This paper represents a new type low power High Frequency technological ion source (HF TIS) for ion - beam processing: the surface modification of materials, cleaning of surface, sputtering, coating of thin films, and polishing. The operational principle of HF TIS is based on the excitation of electrostatic waves in plasma located in the external magnetic field. Low power HF TIS with diameter 92 rom gives the opportunity to obtain beams of inert and chemically reactive gases with currents range from 5 to 150 mA (current density $0.015\;~\;3.5\;mA/\textrm{m}^2$) and ion beam energy 100 ~ 2500 eV at a HF power level 10 ~ 150 W. Three grid concave type ion optical system (IOS) is used for extraction and formation ofion beam.n beam.
