우리나라 식용유지 자원식물의 상관 및 유전력 (Heritability and Correlation Coefficients in Edible Oil Crops in Korea)

  • This experiment were carried out to study the heritability, genotypic, pheno-typic and environmental correlation in four edible oil crops. Heritabilities of flowering date, maturing date, plant height and weight of 1, 000 grains in rape were high. A highly significant positive correlation was found between flowering date and maturing date, plant hight and ear length, number of pods per ear and flowering date, maturing date and plant hight, The number of seed per pod showed also significant positive correlation with flowering or maturing date as well as with the relationship between weight of 1, 000 grains and plant height or ear length inrapeseed, respectively. Heritabilities of maturing date, length of stem with eapsule and number of seed per capsule were high, in sesame. Genotypic correlation between plant height and length of stem with capsule, length of stem with capsule and number of capsule per plant, number of capsule per plant and weight of 1, 000 grains, weight of 1, 000 grains and yield were highy positive in sesame. Heritabilities of flowering date, length of main stem, weight of 100 grains and number of shells per square meter in peanut were high, There was positive genotypic correlation between length of main stem and yield, number of shells per quare meter and matured seed ratio, number of shells per square meter and yield, 100 grains weight and yield. On the other hand, a significant negative correlation appeared between flowering date and yield. Heritabilities of days to flowering, stem length, stem diameter and weight of 1, 000 grains in perila were high. There was positive genotypic correlation between stem length and stem diameter, number of pods per plant, stem weight etc, between number of internodes and number of pods per plant, stem weight, number of valid branches and number of pods plant as well, respectively. While, a significant negative correlation was observed between number of valid branches and weight of 1, 000 grains, between number of pods per plant and weight of 1, 000 grains.

  • In order to clarify an effect of seedling weight on the growth pattern of ginseng, seedlings ranged from 0.4g plant to 1.8g plant were transplanted, and then the characters of 5- and 6-year-old ginseng were investigated. The characters of root and leaf, such as length and diameter of main root, root weight, leaf area, and leaf dry weight of 5- and 6-year-old ginseng originated from large seedlings were superior as compared with those from small seedlings, and percentage of missing plant was increased with the increase of seedling weight. There were, however, no significant difference in stem length, stem dry weight, number of seeds per plant and number of palmate leaves and leaflets per plant in 5- and 6-year-old ginseng and these characters were not affected by the weight of seedings transplanted. Root field per unit area was higher in seedings of above 0.6g/plant than in small seedlings.

건엽중 및 엽면적에 의한 잎담배 수량예측 (Prediction of Yield from Leaf weight and Leaf area)

  • This study was conducted to determine the time and methods of predicting tobacco yield, by studying the relationship of yield components to yield. 1. The relationship between each position in leaf dry weight and approached gradually each other and also correlation coefficient of top leaf was higher than that of lower leaf. The leaf dry weight per plant was highly correlated with leaf area from 16th leaf position on stalk. Leaf dry weight of each leaf position on stalk was highly correlated with leaf dry weight per plant at 14 to 16th leaf position. 2. The correlation coefficient between leaf dry weight and leaf area per plant was higher at the late growth stage than at the early growth stage, and higher between the near stages. Correlation coefficient between leaf dry weights was higher than that of leaf areas. 3. Flue-cured tobacco yield be estimated from leaf dry weight per plant at 50 to 55 days after transplanting. 4. Air-cured tobacco yield could be predicted from leaf dry weight per plant at 60 days after transplanting.

  • This experiment was carried out to select for the varieties with high environmental adaptability in mountainous pastures of Taekwalyong area, and the evaluation was based on the data of varietal differences of dry matter production and yield components in Tall fescue cutting at various developmental stages in growth period of autumn. The results were summarized as follows; 1. The varieties with high number of tillers per plant(NT) showed a high dry weight of plant(DW) in all autumn cuttings. These varieties(Barce1 and Fuego) may be more adaptable to mountainous pastures of Taekwalyon area than other varieties. 2. The number of tillers per plant(NT) was significantly positive correlated with dry weight of plant (DW), but dry weight of tiller(WT) was not significantly correlated with dry weight of plant(DW) in all autumn cuttings. 3. The multiple regression equations of autumn cutting stages with mean dry weight of plant(DW) and number of tillers per plant(NT) can be used to estimate the cutting time to obtain maximum mean dry weight of plant(DW) and the highest number of tillers per plant(NT). The maximum mean dry weight of plant(DW) and the highest number of tillers per plant(NT) was estimated at the time of 21 Oct. and 26 Oct, respectively. 4. Dead leaves tended to increase greatly after the 2nd cutting(l4 Oct.) in growth period of autumn. 5. The number of tillers per plant(NT) was an important yield component before tiller density achieved equilibrium, but dry weight of tiller(WT, including dead leaves) was of most significant as a yield determinant after maximum tiller density reached in growth period of autumn.

  • Perennial ryegrass 유식물체의 가을철 생육과 1변초의 개처중 및 수량구성요소와의 관계를 검토하여 월동성을 나타낼 수 있는 형질을 션발하고 품종을 분류하고자 하였다. 1. 1 번초의 척체중은 유식물체의 개체당 경수와 유의힌 정상관을, 초세와는 유의한 부의 상관을 나타내었다. 2. 1번초의 개체중은 출수경중, 개체당경수, 영양경수, 출수경수, 1 경중 및 출수율과 유의한 정상관이 인정되었다. 3 .상대경수출현솔이 낮은 품종은 가을철에 분얼의 발생이 많으며 상대경수출현율이 높은품종은 봄철에 분얼의 발생이 많은 특성을 나다내었다. 4 .상대경수출현율당 개체중은 1번초의 개체중, 초장, 출수정중, 개체당 경수, 출수경수, 1 경중 및 출수율과 유의한 정상관을 나타내었다. 5 .상대경수출현율당 개체중에 의하여 2품종군으로 분류되었다 즉, 상대경수출현율당 개체중이 1.0 이 상의 품종에는 7 개 품종이, 1. 0 미만의 품종에는 9 개품종이 포함되었다. 6 상대경수출현율당 개체중에 의하여 분류된 품 종군에서는 수량구성요소의 차이가 인정되었다.7 .상대경수출현율당 개체중은 월동성을 나타내는 유효한 형질이라고 생각되었다.

인산시용량 차이가 청예동부의 형질변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Phosphate Fretilization Levels on the Agronomic Characters of Soiling Cowpea ( Vigna sinensis Endlicher ))

  • 본 연구는 제주도에 있어서 인산 시용량 차이가 (0,4,8,16,32kg/10a) 사료용 청예동부의 수량 등 형질변화에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 수행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 초장, 생초중,경중, 엽중, 엽수, 주경절수, 1차분지수,협수. 협중 등은 조사시기에 관계없이 인산시비량이 증가할수록 증가되었다. 2. 초장 및 주엽절수는 8월 25일 이후 증가가 없었고 경중 및 생체중은 시비량에 관계없이 8월 25일 (파종후 60일)에 가장 많았으며. 그 이후 감소되었다. 3. 경중, 엽수, 수, 협중은 9월 13일(파종후 80일)까지 계속 증가되었다. 4. 인산을 증비할 경우 8월 25일 이후 엽중 감소가 적었다. 5. 근장 및 근중도 생육시기에 관계없이 인산 시비량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 8월 25일 이후에는 더 이상 증가는 없었다. 6. 근유수와 근류중도 생육시기에 관계없이 인산시비량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 8월5일(파종후 40일)에 최대가 되었다가 그후 급격히 감소되었다.

  • 들깨 수량에 영향하는 형질을 정확히 알기 위하여 형질상호간의 상관관계와 경로계수를 분석한 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 경장은 경식경, 화방수, 경중과 유효분지수는 화방수와 높은 정의 상관을 그리고 유효분지수는 1,000입중과 화방수는 1,000입중과 각각 높은 부의 상관을 보였다. 2. 수량에 직접적으로 영향하는 형질은 경중, 화방수 1,000입중 유효분지수, 경직경등이다. 3. 간접적 효과는 경장대 경중, 유효분지수 대 화방수, 화방수 대 경중간에 높은 값을 보였다. 4. 들깨의 수량은 경장이 길고 유효분지수 및 화방수가 많으며 1,000입중과 경중이 무거운것일수록 수량이 많다는 사실을 알수 있다.

Differences in Productivity among Rape Varieties for Oil Seed and Forage

  • In order to examine the possibility that oil seed rape could be used as a forage fodder crop and to select the most suitable variety of forage rape at the southern area of Korea, two varieties of oil seed rape currently grown for oil production and six introduced varieties of forage rape with relatively high yield and high nutritional value were grown at the same condition their and yield components were observed. Forage rape was superior to oil seed rape in terms of yield components, plant fresh weight and plant dry mater weight. Velox was superior to any other variety of forage rape in these characters. When plant dry matter weight of the rape was subdivided into four components such as a main stem, branch stems, main stem leaves and branch leaves, contribution of these components to plant dry matter weight was in the order of branch stems, branch leaves, the main stem and main stem leaves. Dry matter percentage of the rape ranged from 9.32 to 11.08 percent, which was somewhat low value. There was no significant difference between two groups of the rape in terms of dry matter percentage. Velox showed somewhat higher value in dry matter percentage.

Salinity Tolerance of Blackgram and Mungbean: I. Dry Matter Accumulation in Different Plant Parts

  • Dry matter(DM) accumulation in different plant parts of two Vigna spp., blackgram(Vigna mungo) and mungbean(Vigna radiata), was compared at different levels of salinity. Two vaarieties of each of blackgram (Barimash-1 and Barimash-2) and mungbean(Barimung-3 and Barimung-4) were grown with 50, 75 and 100mM NaCl solutions and tap water as a control till maturity. The DM accumulation in all plant parts of the two crops devreased with the increasing salinity levels. The reducation was severe in mungbean compared to blackgram. On an average mungbean produced only 3% grain yield compared to 37% in blackgram at 100mM NaCl. The salinity induced growth reduction was relatively less in Barimash-2 than that in Barimash-1. In mungbean, the relative DM production of Barimung-3 was greater than Barimung-4. The extent of biomass reducation due to salinity in different plant parts was not similar. At maturity the rank of biomass accumulation (at 100 mM NaCl) in different plant parts of blackgram was in decreasing order by seeds pod$^{-1}$ (97%), branch plant$^{-1}$ (88%), 1000-grain weight (79%), plant height(72%), pods plant$^{-1}$ (50%), leaf weight and root mass(both 49%) and stem weight (48%). In mungbean, the rank was in decreasing order by 1000-grain weight (57%), leaf weight (54%), plant height (52%), seeds pod$^{-1}$ (50%), branch plant$^{-1}$ (41%), root weight (34%), stem weight (24%) and pods plant$^{-1}$ (6%). Therefore, salinity reduced grain yield more than straw and roots of the Vignaq spp., and blackgram is relatively more salt-tolerant than mungbean.

시비량, 재식밀도, 수확시기가 담배 잎단백질 생산에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Amount of Fertilizer, Plant Density, and Halvesting Time on the Production of Tobacco leaf Protein)

  • Effect of the amount of fertilizer, plant density, and harvesting time on the production of tobacco leaf protein and fresh biomass was investigated. Flue-cured tobacco(M tabacum, L., cv. NC 82) seedlings were transplanted in the field dressed 200kg N per ha at 1$\times$105, 3$\times$105, 5$\times$105, 7$\times$105 plants per ha, and were harvested at the time when 6 and 10 weeks after transplanting, respectively. Harvest at 10 weeks after transplanting increased greatly number of leaves per plant and fresh weight of a plant, Precentage of senescent leaf weight, but significantly decreased fresh weight of a leaf and total protein contents g-1 fresh weight of leaf and stalk over the amount obtained from the harvest at 6 weeks after transplanting. Also, fresh leaf numbers of a plant, fresh weight of a leaf and of a plant, and total protein contents g-1 fresh weight of biomass were more decreased, but percentage of senescent leaf weight were remarkably increased under higher plant density. Therefore, it was seemed that harvesting at 6 weeks after transplanting under 1$\times$105 plant density per ha is more effective for producing higher yield of biomass and protein per plant than 10 weeks harvesting with 7$\times$105 population per ha. A trend was observed that biomass and protein yields per ha are positively correlated with plant population. Biomass yield per ha was the greatest at 7$\times$105 density(80.5t), but the peak of protein yield was at the near of 5$\times$105 population(2454kg as total protein) per ha on the regression curve. It was assumed that if tobacco plants are transplanted under 5$\times$105 plant density at the mid of May, and thereafter harvest at 6 weeks repeatedly during the growing season, it is possible to harvest 2~3 times per year, and to yield more 6.024kg of protein and over 140me1ric tons of fresh biomass ha 1 year 1 statistically in the korea tobacco growing regions.
