In this paper, arranged the isotropic point source of N number with the structure which is identical with the receive area. And against the array structure which has the radiation pattern which is identical with the receive area it researched. The arranged the element space flees grating lobe and in order to set the characteristic of optimum with half-wave equally space it selects. After inducing the array factor of each array structure, it calculated a radiation pattern. As a result of, the radiation pattern of the each Planar array antenna with structure of the receive area was similar and the possibility of getting an beam characteristic it was.
In this study, we fabricated and evaluated graphene composite based 3D scaffolds and planar films. The hybrid composite was prepared by mixing a calculated amount of graphene nanopowder and polydimethylsiloxane in tetrahydrofuran solution. The hybrid composite is easy to manufacture into various forms using direct printing technology or a pressing method. A 3D scaffold structure was prepared at ambient temperature with a flow rate of 240 mm/min. The nozzle pressure was maintained at 350 kPa by adjusting the viscosity of the composite material. The planar film was prepared at different thicknesses using a roll-to-roll equipment. The prepared hybrid nanocomposites were evaluated to investigate their electrical properties according to temperature and mechanical deformation. The obtained results were consistent with each other. Therefore, it can be used effectively as sensors through shape definition.

The semi-convexity for planar shapes has been recently introduced in [2]. As a generalization of the convextiy, semi-convexity is closed under the Minkowski sum. But the definition of semi-convexity requires that the shape boundary should satifisfy a differentiability condition $C^{1:1}$, which means that it should be possible to take the normal vector field along the domain's extended boundary. In view of the fact that the semi-convextiy is a most natural generalization of the convexity in many respects, this is a severe restriction for the semi-convexity, since the convexity requires no such a priori differentiability condition. In this paper, we generalize the semi-convexity to the closure of the class of semi-convex $\mathcal{M}$-domains for any Minkowski class $\mathcal{M}$, and show that this generalized semi-convexity is also closed under Minkowski sum.

Identifying algae in water is important for managing algal blooms which have great impact on drinking water supply systems. There have been various microscopic approaches developed for algae classification. Many of them are based on the morphological features of algae. However, there have seldom been mathematical frameworks for comparing the shape of algae, represented as a planar continuous curve obtained from an image. In this work, we describe a recent framework for computing shape distance between two different algae based on the elastic metric and a novel functional representation called the square root velocity function (SRVF). We further introduce statistical procedures for multiple shapes of algae including computing the sample mean, the sample covariance, and performing the principal component analysis (PCA). Based on the shape distance, we classify six algal species in watersheds experiencing algal blooms, including three cyanobacteria (Microcystis, Oscillatoria, and Anabaena), two diatoms (Fragilaria and Synedra), and one green algae (Pediastrum). We provide and compare the classification performance of various distance-based and model-based methods. We additionally compare elastic shape distance to non-elastic distance using the nearest neighbor classifiers.

A fuzzy weighted mean method on a 2D shape recognition system is introduced in this paper. The bispectrum based on third order cumulant is applied to the contour sequence of each image for the extraction of a feature vector. This bispectral feature vector, which is invariant to shape translation, rotation and scale, represents a 2D planar image. However, to obtain the best performance, it should be considered certain criterion on the calculation of weights for the fuzzy weighted mean method. Therefore, a new method to calculate weights using means by differences of feature values and their variances with the maximum distance from differences of feature values. is developed. In the experiments, the recognition results with fifteen dimensional bispectral feature vectors, which are extracted from 11.808 aircraft images based on eight different styles of reference images, are compared and analyzed.

A bending actuator using zigzag type shape memory alloy springs has been fabricated and characterized. The fabricated millimeter-sized actuator has outer diameter of 3.0mm and inner diameter of 2.0mm. The zigzag type spring is more suitable for thin wall type actuator because the zigzag type spring has a planar structure comparing with the coil type spring which has a three-dimensional structure. The measured characteristics of the fabricated bending actuator show the possibility of practical application to micro active bending catheters.

This paper propose a method for pattern recogniton using spectrum analyzer and fuzzy ARTMAP. Contour sequences obtained from 2-D planar images represent the Euclidean distance between the centroid and all boundary pixels of the shape, and are related to the overall shape of the images. The Fourier transform of contour sequence and spectrum analyzer are used as a means of feature selection and data reduction. The three dimensional spectral feature vectors are extracted by spectrum analyzer from the FFT spectrum. These Spectral feature vectors are invariant to shape translation, rotation, and scale transformations. The fuzzy ARTMAP neural network which is combined with two fuzzy ART modules is trained and tested with these feature vectors. The experiments include 4 aircrafts and 4 industrial parts recognition process are presented to illustrate the high performance of this proposed method in the ion problems of noisv shapes.
This paper addresses the product shape modification for spring-back reduction in the sheet metal forming process of the cabin sunroof which is applied to the construction equipment. Initially, the anisotropic material properties are measured in order to calculate the degree of spring-back by the numerical simulation of the sheet metal forming process. To reduce the spring-back of the stamped part, several design modifications are suggested according to the geometrical bead arrangement on the planar region. The degrees of spring-back are confirmed for various product designs with different use of the geometrical bead. Finally, the spring-back improvement was validated by manufacturing the tryout product with the modified die set for the optimized product shape.

We designed the flyback planar transformer, which had 8 W capacity, with 70 V input voltage and 8.2 V output voltage for the establishment of design method and the confirmation of application possibility. The numerical value of inductance measured under the switching frequency of 120 kHz was 1650 $\mu$H, which was the inductance efficiency of'85∼87% against theoretical value. The A.C. resistance of primary and secondary coil was 4.2 Ω and 0.25 Ω respectively, On the other hand, the quality factor for each wound numbers showed quite a high value of 158 and 75 respectively. And the Coupling Factor was 0.96∼0.97 under 120 kHz switching frequency. The inductance rapidly increased as the thickness of the core plane increased until it became 1.4 mm but under the thickness more than 1.4 mm, there was no substantial change. Therefore, the critical value of the plane thickness of core was 1.4 mm. And the shape of the output wave of the planar transformer at 70V input voltage was a stable square wave.
The aim of this study is to analyze the planar composition of rectangular formation houses in 8 areas, both cities and counties, in the sphere of Andong and to reveal the characteristics of these houses in each region. This study of the rectangular formation of houses and their characteristics will facilitate an understanding of the general trends of housing in Andong cultural area.. In this study, the subject houses are composed of three parts: Bonchae, Anchae, and Sarangchae, and the author classified the planar types of the houses. The differences in the regional planar types were analyzed through visual and statistical methods. The analyzed results reveal the regional characteristics of the rectangular formation houses in terms of their planar aspects in the Andong region. The distribution showed the greatest preference toward one type out of two types of distribution of Bonchae, Anchae, and Sarangchae. The ratio for the higher distribution was approximately 70%, whereas the ratio for the lower distribution was around 20%. For convenience, the type with a higher distribution rate is referred to as the "major type," and the type with a lower distribution rate is termed the "minor type." The complete-type houses (73%) in Bonchae were a major type there, and the symmetric-type houses (73%) in Anchae were the major type in that location. In addition, the corner-type houses (72%) in Sarangchae were the major type. In the regional distribution of major types and minor types in the 8 regional cities and counties, regional differences were noted. The three regional groups can be divided into A, B, and C according to the distribution ratio. Andong, Bonghwa, and Yecheon belong to region A. that shows a variety of distribution types and a dispersive trend. Yeongyang and Yeongdeok belong to region C that shows a simplified trend.Yeongju and Cheongsong belong to region B.
